Abstract

German textbooks encompass various facets of German culture. However, teachers in Indonesia often overlook the significance of German culture. The primary objective of this study is to provide a comprehensive account of the German cultural components found within German language textbooks used in Indonesian universities. To achieve this goal, a descriptive qualitative methodology was employed, where the textbooks were analyzed according to Byram's theory of eight cultural dimensions.  The utilised textbooks include Netzwerk A1, Netzwerk A2, and Netzwerk B1, which align with language skill levels A1, A2, and B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Each textbook set consists of a coursebook and a workbook. The findings of the analysis revealed that the most prevalent cultural elements encompassed social interaction, stereotypes and national identity, and socialization and life cycle. The implications of these findings indicate that social interaction, as the most prominent cultural aspect, reinforces the educational objectives of German language courses, specifically in terms of fostering the development of communicative competence.

Abstract

Climate change is a critical issue that is constantly discussed in numerous international forums, particularly considering its wide-impact and cross-sectoral nature. Every aspect of real life, especially the environment, is impacted by this global phenomenon, hence the need for real solutions from various groups. Public administration scientists saw this as a problem that must be solved through several literature studies conducted. This research method will use a systematic mapping study using the Taylor and Francis Group database that has been determined. The results of this study with 3 actors combined with collaborative governance show that government actors focus on domestic and foreign policies adopted by emphasizing the collaboration between government agencies that can be done. Meanwhile, the private sector has a unique contribution where they implement a circular economy and mutual cooperation determined by the principle of humanism and remain humane by helping the community. Meanwhile, community actors emphasize the existence of local knowledge and community capacity as knowledge resources in climate change adaptation. This research shows the interplay among actors in climate change mitigation and encourages future researchers to provide a connection to decision-making. Current trends suggest that the public and private aspects of climate change mitigation currently lack synergy, with each of the key governance actors working separately to mitigate climate change.

Abstract

This study examines the fulfillment of healthcare rights for prisoners with tuberculosis (TB) in the Class IIB Menggala Detention Center. The background highlights the critical need for adequate healthcare services for inmates, especially those suffering from communicable diseases like TB, which poses significant health risks. The objective is to assess the current state of healthcare provision and identify barriers to effective treatment. Using qualitative research methods, data were collected through observations and discussions to evaluate the available facilities, resources, and the effectiveness of healthcare management. The findings reveal that the detention center's healthcare services are suboptimal, characterized by insufficient medical facilities, limited medication availability, and inadequate human resources. These deficiencies hinder the provision of adequate care for TB-infected inmates, underscoring the necessity for government intervention to enhance healthcare services. The study concludes that a comprehensive approach is essential to uphold the health rights of prisoners. Keywords: Healthcare Rights; Tuberculosis; Prisoners

A mind map is a graphic form showing how related ideasare organized. Useful as a graphic organizer of ideas, it is a conceptmap made on the basis of the principles of how the brain works, thatis, through association and imagination, simultaneously maximizingthe function of the right and left hemispheres of the brain. Its essenceis that the main idea is placed in the middle and then, regarded asits center, it is then connected with lines to supporting ideas havingcertain associations with it.A mind map can be used to help develop skills in writing andreading texts written in such a language as German.
