Abstract

The Head of the Study Program is one of the most important parts of a university. The Head of the Study Program is also the highest leader within the study program structure. The role of the Head of the Study Program is as an organizational unit that is responsible for the administration of the study program they lead. The Head of the Study Program is tasked with coordinating all study program activities, as well as managing lecture schedules, practicum schedules, and lecture evaluation results. The selection of the Head of the Study Program requires precise accuracy to avoid errors in the selection process. The stability of a study program heavily depends on the role and reputation of its lecturers, especially the lecturer responsible for the core courses of that study program. Therefore, the participation of lecturers is highly necessary in the selection of the Head of the Study Program. Since the higher education management is also interested in the selection process, methodological assistance is needed to accommodate the aspirations of the lecturers and the interests of the university management. The reward system is a crucial element for motivation toward a better direction, aiming to further increase performance. This reward system is expected to encourage the performance of the Head of the Study Program to be more productive, so that the vision and mission for achieving the development of a university can be properly attained and implemented.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to be able to recognize the performance of the design of computer networks of Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa which has been built in simulator OPNET Version 14.5, from which the design of a computer network consists of two designs specifically design of computer networks using Cable Media and Wireless Media (Access Point). The study begins by analyzing the current situation of the computer network and discovers the circumstance of utilization of computer networks had not been optimal as the condition of the computer network infrastructure of Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa rector is only found in the main building itself. The process of analysis and design of computer network infrastructure uses the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC). The comparison outcome of the design with the Cable Media in the Simulator has Page Response Time 82,3% faster than using Wireless Media and delay point of Cable Media is 19,1% lower than Wireless Media. Therefore Cable Media is able to be considered as one of preferences by the Executive Board of Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa to develop Computer Network Infrastructure for integrating entire existing building within the campus area in order to support the implementation of the information system.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to design and to develop an application that is able to present data in Sumbawa Language (Basa Samawa) Dictionary which is still in book outline into digital form. Spiral method is used in this research for software development process and its data collection method applies literature study with data source from "Dictionary of Sumbawa-Indonesia" by Department of Education National Language Center Office Province of West Nusa Tenggara, moreover its test method pertains black box method that is a software experiment in terms of its functionality. The results of research that has been built with Android Studio 1.5 and SQLite database with target android version 6.0 (Marshmallow) has been accessible through Play Store, in which this application has been equipped with vocabulary search including sentence examples, introduction to dictionary usage, dictionary procedure information and application to contribute to the indigenous communities of Sumbawa as well as exterior societies of Sumbawa in studying Sumbawa language and preserving the Sumbawa cultural heritage.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Aplikasi Pengenalan Alat Musik Tradisional Sumbawa Berbasis Android agar dapat di manfaatkan sebagai media belajar bagi masyarakat luas khususnya generasi muda Sumbawa serta menjaga tradisi Tana Samawa. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Metode Studi Pustaka, Wawancara dan Observasi serta menggunakan Spiral Methode sebagai metode pengembangan perangkat lunak. Aplikasi Pengenalan Alat Musik Tradisional Sumbawa Berbasis Android ini dibangun dengan Android Studio versi 3.0.1 dan basis data SQLite versi 3.8.2 sebagai Database Management System (DBMS) dengan target minimum Android versi 4.4 (Kitkat). Adapun metode pengujian menggunakan metode pengujian Beta Test yaitu pengujian yang dilakukan dengan memberikan pertanyaan kepada pengguna aplikasi secara langsung. Dalam Aplikasi Pengenalan Alat Musik Tradisional Sumbawa Berbasis Android terdapat informasi tentang jenis alat musik, cara pembuatan alat musik dan cara memainkan alat musik. Aplikasi pengenalan alat musik tradisional Sumbawa ini telah dapat diakses dari Android Market yaitu Google Play Store.

Abstract

This study aims to convert data from Sumbawa Lawas (Oral Poetry) which are currently preserved in the form of books for changes to digital forms. This study uses spiral software development methods and programming languages using Android Studion 2.3.3 as well as SQLite databases targeting Android users version 5.0 (Lollipop). The method of data collection uses a literature study technique with data sources from Boan Lawas book by publisher Usman Amin Trussmedia with ISBN 978-602-0992-88-4 and uses black box testing methods whose testing is done by testing software in terms of functionality. The results of this study are the Android-based for Sumbawa Lawas Application that can be accessed through the Play Store which is equipped with history, type, poetry and meaning and about the application so that it can provide information for Sumbawa indigenous people and people outside Sumbawa.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) Desa merupakan tingkatan terbawah dan terdekat yang langsung bersentuhan dengan keluarga dalam masyarakat. PKK Desa Uma Beringin dalam tata kelola administrasinya masih belum terdigitalisasi, laporan tahunan, program kerja, keuangan, dan tata kelola surat-menyurat semuanya masih konvensional menggunakan tulisan manual dalam buku catatan besar. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan suatu sistem informasi untuk mengakomodir tata kelola administrasi. Tujuannya agar pengelolaan administrasi PKK Desa Uma Beringin menjadi lebih teratur dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dan metode pengembangan System Development Life Circle dengan model Rapid Application Delevopment. Proses perancangan sistem dilakukan secara terstruktur, dan dibangun menggunakan framework Codeigniter. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu sebuah Sistem Administrasi PKK Desa Uma Beringin yang memudahkan pengelolaan administrasi PKK berupa pengelolaan program kerja, keuangan, suratmenyurat, berita, dan laporan tahunan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini berhasil mentransformasikan sistem administrasi PKK Desa Uma Beringin yang manual menjadi sistem terkomputerisasi berbasis web.Codeigniter. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu sebuah Sistem Administrasi PKK Desa Uma Beringin yang memudahkan pengelolaan administrasi PKK berupa pengelolaan program kerja, keuangan, suratmenyurat, berita, dan laporan tahunan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini berhasil mentransformasikan sistem administrasi PKK Desa Uma Beringin yang manual menjadi sistem terkomputerisasi berbasis web.

Abstract

This study developed a web-based expert system for diagnosing rice plant diseases using the Naive Bayes Classifier method and the Spiral Model software development model. The Spiral approach allows for iterative development with a focus on risk management and validation by agricultural experts. The system includes 12 disease types and 27 symptoms, and generates probabilistic diagnoses along with recommended actions. Testing on 21 cases demonstrated 95.24% accuracy compared to expert assessment, demonstrating the effectiveness of this method in providing a reliable diagnostic tool to support national food security.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based Arabic educational quiz media that integrates gamification elements (points, levels, badges, and leaderboards) to create a more interactive and engaging learning experience. The research method uses qualitative and quantitative approaches with data collection through observation, interviews, and literature study. Software development is carried out using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Agile model. The application is built using the Laravel framework (PHP), MySQL database, and Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js for the user interface. System functionality testing is conducted using the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method involving 17 respondents consisting of 3 admins, 4 teachers, and 10 students. The results show that the web-based Arabic educational quiz media Quiz was successfully developed with three user levels (admin, teacher, and student) and gamification features that increase student engagement and learning motivation. UAT results show an overall acceptance rate of 4.40 out of a scale of 5 (Good category), with students giving the highest rating of 4.76 (Very Good), especially in the motivation and learning aspect which obtained a Score of 4.80. This application is expected to be an alternative solution in supporting more effective and attractive Arabic language learning at TPQ Athoyyibin.

Abstract

Abstrak- Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk merancang, membuat dan mengembangkan tari Sumbawa kedalam portal belajar berbasis augmented reality sebagai upaya pelestarian kepada generasi muda dengan menggunakan metode Mutimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) menggunakan basis web dan android dengan objek penelitian diakukan di Kabupaten Sumbawa, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Proses perancangan, pembuatan dan pengembangan portal belajar berbasis augmented reality dilakukan dengan enam tahap yang dimulai dari tahap konsep untuk menentukan tujuan pengguna, tahap desain untuk membuat spesifik arsitektur program, tahap material collecting untuk pengumpulan bahan aplikasi, tahap assembly untuk pengkodean aplikasi, tahap testing untuk pengujian aplikasi dan tahap distribution untuk penyajian aplikasi pada halaman web dan android. Portal belajar berbasis augmented reality berhasil dibuat dengan php framework laravel dan database MySQL. Sementara untuk desain menggunakn 3D designer blender dan aplikasi augmented reality menggunakan unity serta marvelous designer. Portal belajar berbasis augmented reality berhasil diuji coba menggunakan model back box testing yang dilakukan oleh ahli informatika, budayawan dan generasi muda. Ragam fitur yang dihasilkan menampilkan tarian sumbawa dalam bentuk augmented reality dengan tiga tarian yang dilengkapi dengan pakai adat dari masing-asing tari serta instrumen pendukung. Pada laman web menampikan sejarah, musik pengiring, makna dari setiap gerakan dasar, informasi tarian, dan makna dari kostum tradisional yang digunakan. Dengan adanya aplikasi berbasis augmented reality diharapkan generasi muda dapat mempelajari dan mempraktikkan tarian Sumbawa dengan teknologi dan visual yang lebih menarik serta melestarikan tarian Sumbawa yang merupakan warisan kebudayaan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android-based Mathematics Learning Application as an interactive and engaging learning medium to enhance elementary school students' understanding, particularly at Lape 2 Public Elementary School. The research employs the Waterfall software development model, which consists of five stages: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires as well as the administration of pre-tests and post-tests to fifth-grade students. The application was developed with core features including learning materials, practice questions, automatic scoring, and learning outcome reports. Testing was conducted using the black box testing method to evaluate the application's functionality, and the improvement in students’ understanding was analyzed using the N-Gain method. The results indicate an improvement in students’ understanding, categorized as moderate to high, after using the application. This application is expected to serve as an effective, enjoyable, and relevant alternative learning medium that meets the needs of elementary school students.
