Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi matematis siswa SMK, kurangnya pemanfaatan budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran matematika, dan keterbatasan bahan ajar kontekstual. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar transformasi geometri berbasis etnomatematika melalui alat musik tradisional Degung Sunda yang valid, praktis, dan mampu mendukung literasi matematis siswa SMK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Karya Bakti Mandiri Cisata. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket respon pendidik, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria “sangat valid” dan “sangat praktis”. Validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase kelayakan 90%, ahli media 96%, ahli bahasa 98%, dan uji respon guru 96%. Bahan ajar berbentuk flipbook digital melalui Canva for Education ini mampu mengaitkan konsep transformasi geometri (translasi, refleksi, rotasi, dilatasi) dengan unsur budaya Degung Sunda. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMK karena valid, praktis, dan mendukung literasi matematis siswa.

Abstract

Literasi matematis merupakan kemampuan untuk menguasai dan menerapkan matematika di berbagai konteks permasalahan serta dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada orang lain terkait penggunaan matematika dalam memecahkan masalah. Saat ini, soal-soal kemampuan literasi matematis sudah mulai banyak digunakan, salah satunya pada seleksi masuk perguruan tinggi atau yang sekarang dikenal dengan sebutan SNBT (Seleksi Nasional Berbasis Tes). Sesuai peraturan menteri pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia Nomor 48 Tahun 2022 tentang Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru Program Diploma dan Program Sarjana pada Perguruan Tinggi Negeri bahwa tidak ada lagi tes mata pelajaran atau Tes Kemampuan Akademik (TKA).  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan soal kemampuan literasi matematis berbasis etnomatematika dari arsitektur Masjid Agung Banten. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Martin Tessmer, yaitu formative evaluation. Tahapan dalam model pengembangan ini meliputi tahap preliminary, self evaluation, prototyping (expert review, one to one,dansmall group), sertafield test. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan soal-soal kemampuan literasi matematis berbasis etnomatematika dari arsitektur Masjid Agung Banten yang valid. Soal-soal yang valid dalam penelitian ini mperolehan rata-rata validitas sebesar 93.75% dengan kriteria sangat valid dan praktis digunakan dengan rata-rata kepraktisan 66.68%. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 14 soal kemampuan literasi matematika berbasis etnomatematika dari arsitektur Masjid Agung Banten pada materi transformasi geometri kelas XI yang valid dan praktis digunakan. Soal yang dikembangkan selain dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi siswa juga dapat menambah pengetahuan siswa tentang arsitektur Masjid Agung Banten tanpa mendatangi tempatnya secara langsung.Mathematical literacy is the ability to master and apply mathematics in various problem contexts and to provide understanding to others regarding the use of mathematics in solving problems. Currently, mathematical literacy test items are increasingly being used, one of which is in university entrance selection, now known as SNBT (Seleksi Nasional Berbasis Tes / National Test-Based Selection).The purpose of this study is to develop mathematical literacy test items based on ethnomathematics from the architecture of the Great Mosque of Banten. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with Martin Tessmer’s formative evaluation development model. The stages in this model include the preliminary stage, self-evaluation, prototyping (expert review, one-to-one, and small group), and field test. The results of this study are ethnomathematics-based mathematical literacy test items derived from the architecture of the Great Mosque of Banten that are valid and reliable. The valid test items in this study obtained an average validity of 93.75%, categorized as very valid, and practical to use with an average practicality of 66.68%. The reliability showed a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.982, which falls into the very high category (≥0.90). The developed test items can not only be used to measure students’ mathematical literacy skills but also enrich their knowledge of the architecture of the Great Mosque of Banten without having to visit the site directly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the flipped classroom learning model on students' learning independence based on students' cognitive styles. One category of student cognitive style is field-dependent and field-independent. This study examined the effect of the flipped classroom learning model on students' learning independence in terms of students' cognitive style. In this study, the experimental class treatment used the flipped classroom learning model, and the control class treatment used the scientific learning model. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a cluster random sampling technique. The subjects in this study were grade XI students of MA Malnu Pusat Menes in Pandeglang City. The results showed that: 1) the improvement of students' learning independence ability in the flipped classroom class is higher than in the scientific class, 2) the improvement of field independent students' learning independence ability in the flipped classroom class is higher than the control class, and 3) the improvement of field dependent students' learning independence ability in the flipped classroom class is higher than the control class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by a snakes and ladders game can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The study was conducted using a quantitative model through the following stages: formulating the problem, literature review, hypothesis submission, determining the method, preparing research instruments, collecting and analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the hypothesis analysis test of mathematical problem-solving ability using an independent t-test, the sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model assisted by a snakes and ladders game can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The result of the average N-Gain of mathematical problem-solving ability was 0.7299, indicating that the Problem Based Learning class had a high level of improvement. So it can be used as an alternative model in mathematics learning at the vocational high school level on probability material.
