Abstract

Mental health is a condition of subjective feeling of well-being, a self-assessment of feelings which includes aspects of self-concept, fitness and the ability to control oneself. The purpose of conducting counseling in Siguci Village, STM Hilir Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency is to implement a community or community health diagnosis which essentially identifies, formulates and compiles public health problems. Developing a program to handle public health problems that is promotive and preventive in nature and is a learning process to gain professionalism skills. The approach to health problems is carried out through a survey method with a Cross Sectiona l approach based on the stages of community diagnosis. Community Diagnosis is defined as a description or description of public health and the factors that affect the health of the local community both quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on primary data, the risk factors for the occurrence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Dusun I Siguci Village are mostly caused by Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS), Waste Management, Community Waste Disposal and a priority for health problems is the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever.

Abstract

Reading is an important aspect in learning English. From reading people are able to get knowledge, new knowledge, solve problems, have broad insight, etc. However, there are very few people who like reading, including in Indonesia. Actually, to increase the love of reading, you can do it by reading the things you like first and then liking all the writings to be read. Metacognition is a strategy to increase reading interest and understand reading more quickly and accurately. Applying metacognition strategy has an effect on student reading which has been studied in G, Sulastri's previous research. So the author does Community Service at SMA Yapim Biru-biru at XI year with 36 students. Initially, the writer gave 25 comprehensive reading questions that they had to answer as a pre-test and the results were moderate for 36 students. The result value is the mean value of the Pre-test was 76.69 and the average score of the Post-test was 81.78. The results of statistical calculations show that the standard deviation in the Pre-test is 3.861 and at the Post-test is 5, 622 and the results of the statistical test (t-test) with a p value of 0.001 indicate that there is a significant increase in knowledge in the application of Metacognition strategies in reading comprehension of descriptive text at SMA YAPIM Biru-biru In XI year.

Abstract

Hypertension is a state of increasing blood pressure beyond normal limits. Hypertension is often accompanied by symptoms that cause discomfort to the sufferer. The symptoms experienced are headache, palpitations, difficulty breathing, fatigue and blurred vision. To lower blood pressure to reduce the symptoms felt can be done by using noni fruit. Iuni action is very practical, cheap and easy and can be done by everyone. This action is still rarely performed by patients in the community when experiencing increased blood pressure. The service was carried out on 15 people who had hypertension. The service implementation team provided training on how to process noni in the work area of ​​the Patumbak Health Center. The team made home visits as an evaluation of the service program. The outreach activities went smoothly. There were 5 patients who asked about the counseling material. The importance of conducting regular outreach activities to the community about other complaints they suffer to improve their health status.

Abstract

This counseling aims to identify and develop alternative solutions to health problems in the community, by increasing knowledge about 5 disease problems namely ARI, diarrhea, hypertension, diabetes mellitus and skin diseases by providing health education counseling. The problem priority method for counseling is using the CARL method (capability, accessibility, readiness, and leverage), so that the biggest disease problem is skin disease due to lack of public knowledge about skin hygiene, hand hygiene, nail and towel hygiene and with the aim of reducing sufferers. skin diseases and improve health status in Hamlet II, Namo Tualang Village, Bitu-Biru District.

Abstract

School Health Efforts (UKS) are also health education efforts that are carried out in an integrated, conscious, planned, directed and responsible manner in instilling, growing, developing, and guiding to live, enjoy and implement the principles of healthy living in the daily lives of students. With the enactment of Law Number 32 of 2004, the various UKS implementation programs in each region are basically left entirely to the UKS Guidance Team in their respective regions to determine program priorities. Based on the observations of the central UKS Guidance Team, it turns out that the implementation of UKS so far is still not as expected. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to empower the UKS structure at every level in order to strengthen the implementation of UKS programs. As we know, UKS is a vehicle to improve the ability to live a healthy life and the health status of students as early as possible. With the program from the government about the UKS strata level. One of UKS activities is health services for school residents. With the existence of health services at SMP Yapim Deli Tua, UKS equipment in elementary schools must be adequate and meet the standards set by the government. As well as the UKS facilities and infrastructure must be considered by every school. With the School Operational Assistance (BOS) fund, schools should be able to allocate funds to complete UKS facilities and infrastructure, but sometimes problems related to UKS facilities and infrastructure are often ignored by the school. In addition to funding problems that affect the fulfillment of UKS facilities and infrastructure needs, there is also limited knowledge of teachers about the strata level in UKS. This will also affect the fulfillment of UKS infrastructure facilities. In addition to the knowledge that teachers lack, socialization about strata in UKS by related parties is also lacking. Therefore, there are many factors that cause the lack of facilities and infrastructure at SMP Yapim Deli Tua. The hope is that schools in fulfilling UKS facilities and infrastructure can be fulfilled in their entirety. The reality in schools is that many schools do not meet the adequate UKS infrastructure and in accordance with the recommendations of the government.

Abstract

This activity is one way to face globalization where the 4.0 industrial revolution and 5.0 Society era are known. In this era, the whole world uses English as the language of instruction. Educators (lecturers) with health backgrounds are also required to be able to communicate in English to become educators (lecturers) who go international such as be able to further study abroad an educator (lecturer) must master English both in TOEFL test and interviews. The other reason is some institutions at the doctoral level requiring a TOEFL test before attending lectures. In addition, campuses that can accept foreign students in terms of increasing study program accreditation must have educators (lecturers) who are fluent in English. From this explanation, we can conclude that English is very important, especially for nursing educators at Health Institute of Medistra Lubuk Pakam who send their students abroad to work. Therefore, this activity aims to improve speaking skills in English in Educators (Lecturers) who do not teach English are Nursing Educators (Lecturers) who will send their students to work abroad or even continue their studies abroad. By using the Role Play method "Health English Conversation" so that nursing educators (lecturers) can apply teaching in the classroom using English so that students are also motivated to master English and learning materials in the teaching and learning process are more interesting.

Abstract

Rumah merupakan tempat berkumpulnya semua anggota keluarga dengan segala aktivitasnya. Rumah sebagai tempat tinggal yang layak huni, sarana pembinaan keluarga, cerminan harkat dan martabat penghuninya, serta aset bagi pemiliknya. Perumahan yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan rumah sehat dan PHBS yang buruk mempengaruhi kualitas kesehatan. Dalam kondisi pandemic ini, segala kegiatan dan aktivitas dilaksanakan di rumah.. Orangtua yang melaksanakan pekerjaan di rumah, anak yang melaksanakan pembelajaran dirumah. Walaupun dalam kenyataaannya rumah bukanah dibangun sebagai tempat bekerja dan belajar namun seluruh aktivitas selama pandemic harus dilaksanaka di dalam rumah. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk memberi pemahaman kepada masyarakat diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Dolok Masihol tentang rumah sehat dimana masyarakat dapat merasakan kenyamanan dan meningkatkan produktivitasnya. Metode penyuluhan dilakukan menggunakan video, poster, dan interaksi kepada masyarakat di Puskesmas Dolok Masihol. Kesimpulan akhir dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dari kegiatan penyuluhan tentang kesehatan rumah dan perilaku sehat yang harus diadopsi masyarakat untuk menghindari penyebab penyakit yang sering terjadi dimasyarakat

Abstract

Work weakness is portion of the common probelms that are regulary experienced within the work constrain, wearness can significantly affect the health of the workforce and can reduce productivity, including the nurse workforce. Fatigue is often caused by inappropriate working hours. Shift workers tend to be more prone to work burnout. Impactof work shift on nurse's work weakness in the unit covid-19 roomRSUD dr. Djasamen Saragih. The study used quantitative research with observational methods on 34 respondents. Univariat analysis showed that the majority of respondents experienced work fatigue, namely 20 people (58.8%) and not tired of work, namely 14 people (41.2%). From the results of the Bivariate analysis between work shifts and work weakness using the Chi-Square test, the p-value is 0.005. With p-value (0.005)<(0.05). This H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. There’s an effect of work shifts on the work fatigue of nurses in the Covid-19 Inpatient room at dr. Djasamen Saragih in 2021.

Abstract

This community Counseling activity aims to instill enthusiasm and willingness in students to get used to practicing English for Pharmacist Students (Apt) Pharmacist Study Program Faculty of Pharmacy INSTITUTE OF HEALTH DELI HUSADA (IKDH) DELI TUA are less proficient in English, especially students at the final semester and graduates Pharmacists who will to continue their education to have Mastering degree or Doctoral degree. This counseling intended to Pharmacist Students of Pharmacy Faculty of Pharmacy Study Program in IKDH environment as many as 40 Pharmacist Students class of 2022/2023, who are currently pursuing further studies. This counseling involved English lecturers and Pharmacist Lecturers participating of IKDH. The counseling material of this activity is Speaking by Using Vocabulary in Pharmatical Term and Health Problems. Students are also directed with an approach to use correct grammar in speaking and reading How to Say. These three things ways are the basis for practicing these activities. Apart from inviting them to get used to speaking English, the students also received a question and answer response from the facilitators of this activity and to know what is the difficulties ways students were facing while practicing. The Pharmacist Students feel happy and are more confident to advance speaking practice. Pharmacist students join a special ENGLISH CLUB class at IKDH to deepen their understanding of the English language.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian bubur kacang ijo dengan menggunakan rancangan pre and post test with one control group untuk mengetahui pengaruh peningkatan hemoglobin dengan bubur kacang ijo pada remaja putri. Penelitian quasi eksperiment ini menggunakan rancangan pre and post test with one control group. Sampe dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 remaja putri anemia kelompok eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari lembar observasi dan alat cek HB easy touch. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Range untuk mengetahui ada perbedaan kadar hemoglobin remaja putrid sebelum dan sesudah di beri bubur kacang ijo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian bubur kacang ijo terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin. Hasil uji normalitas untuk kadar hemoglobin sebelum di beri bubur kacang ijo adalah 0,001 dan kadar hemoglobin sesudah di beri bubur kacang ijo adalah 0,006. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa data tersebut tidak terdistribusi normal (p value 0,005). Pemberian bubur kacang ijo mampu meningkatan kadar hemoglobin remaja putri yang anemia. Program ini dapat di aplikasikan di praktik keperawatan maupun di masyarakat khususnya pasien anemia dan sebagai bahasan rujukan untuk penelitian selanjutnya
