Abstract

Based on the results of a survey conducted at the Fajar Harapan Martapura Social Home for the Blind, South Kalimantan, of 10 blind people, 7 of them still don't know how to brush their teeth properly and correctly. This is what prompted the author to carry out activities to empower dental health workers at social institutions in carrying out dental and oral health maintenance with the aim of increasing dental and oral health knowledge and teeth brushing skills for blind people at the Fajar Harapan Martapura Social Institution for the Blind, South Kalimantan. The implementation methods used include conducting a needs survey by conducting interviews with several assistants for the blind at the Fajar Harapan Martapura Social Care Home for the Blind, South Kalimantan Province, and preparing tools and materials. Next is the implementation of activities, starting from preparation to monitoring, evaluation of output achievements and achievement of output targets within a period of 6 months (April to September). The result of this activity was that the oral prophylaxis assistance activity was successful (100%) and all participants were very cooperative. During tartar cleaning activities (scaling) was only 6.4% successful because only 10 out of 64 people were willing to have tartar cleaned. All participants who were cleaned had poor OHIS criteria, while simple ART filling activities could not be carried out because the dental caries cases were very deep and could not be carried out. direct or direct extermination.

Abstract

The oral health of the Indonesian people still requires serious attention from healthcare professionals, both doctors and dental nurses. This is evident in the fact that 90% of the Indonesian population still suffers from dental and oral diseases. The most common oral diseases in Indonesia are periodontal disease and dental caries (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2014, Cit. Tunggadewi, G., 2015). A survey of lecturers in the Dental Nursing Department on March 29, 2021, at the Raudhatul Nasyi'in Islamic Boarding School in Banjarbaru, found an average caries rate of 4.1, categorized as high. The goal of this Community Service Program, through partnerships, is to improve tooth brushing behavior and increase knowledge about dental health, so that the community is willing and able to practice good oral health practices. This also contributes to reducing the rate of dental caries at the Raudhatul Nasyi'in Islamic Boarding School in Banjarbaru. The results achieved during the community service activities, for counseling, were attended by all students and students actively participated during the counseling, resulting in an increase in knowledge. Toothbrushing sessions were held four times. During the activity, counseling was provided on proper tooth brushing techniques. The core activity of this community service was achieving the target (60%) for caries repair or caries fillings, conducted inside the building and outside the building at the dental clinic for 18 days with 5 students visiting each time. Of the 120 students, 90 students (75%) participated. The conclusion is that knowledge about dental and oral health has increased from 50% to 90%. This shows an improvement in gingivitis cases, with the target of 60% achieved. In caries cases, the target of 75.8% was exceeded. It is recommended that the nearest dental and oral health officer collaborate with the Pospen (Education Post) to provide programmed counseling to further improve the dental and oral health of students at the Raudhatun Nasyi'in Pospen. For teeth with caries, treatment should be taken at the nearest Community Health Center.

Abstract

Pertambahan penduduk di wilayah perkotaan berpengaruh besar terhadapperkembangan diberbagai sektor terutama di sektor transportasi khususnya wilayah KotaBekasi. Tingkat pelayanan jalan pada persimpangan ruas jalan Ahmad Yani – jln. M.Hasibuan – jln. KH Noer Ali dan persimpangan jalan Chairil Anwar – jalan H. JoyoMartono di kota Bekasi pada jam-jam sibuk mengalami penurunan yang cukup tinggi.Tingkat pendapatan per kapita seseorang berpengaruh terhadap nilai waktu perjalanan(value of travel time, VOT), dimana semakin tinggi tingkat pendapatan seseorang makasemakin tinggi pula nilai waktu perjalanannya. VOT juga dipengaruhi oleh jenis kendaraan,usia dan tujuan perjalanan.Analisis konsumsi bahan bakar minyak (BBM) terhadap tingkat kecepatankendaraan dalam km/jam pada penelitian ini menggunakan perbandingan metode BinaMarga dan metode PCI , sedangkan nilai waktu perjalanan (VOT) di hitung berdasarkantingkat pendapatan rata-rata per orang per bulan dan tingkat kesejahteraan (welfaremaximation) yang menggunakan kendaraan pribadi di wilayah Kota Bekasi tahun 2016.Hasil perhitungan biaya konsumsi bahan bakar (BBM) berdasarkan variasikecepatan kendaraan metode PCI menunjukan bahwa pada kecepatan rata-rata 40 km/jamdengan jenis kendaraan mobil penumpang sebesar Rp. 435,431, /1000 km, bus besar sebesarRp. 1.031.458,/1000 km dan truk besar sebesar Rp. 890.288,/1000 km. Sedangkan denganmetode Bina Marga, mobil penumpang sebesar Rp. 1.750,- / km, bus sebesar Rp. 4.381,-/kmdan truk sebesar Rp. 6.986,- /km. Hal ini disebabkan karena metode Bina Margamemasukkan beberapa parameter dalam perhitungan. Hasil analisis nilai waktu (VOT) diwilayah Kota bekasi dengan tingkat pendapatan per kapita per bulan pada kecepatan 10km/jam sebesar Rp. 3.906,-/km/orang/bulan lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan pada kecepatan70 km/jam yaitu sebesar Rp. Rp. 558,-/km/orang/bulan.

Abstract

Kemacetan yang terjadi pada persimpangan Jalan MT. Joyomartono dengan JalanTarum Barat – Jalan Chairil Anwardiakibatkan oleh bertambahnya jumlah kendaraanyang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya yang tidak diimbangi dengan peningkatanpembangunan jalan raya, pengoperasian fasilitas lalu lintas belum optimal dan perilakukurang disiplin pengguna jalan. Berdasarkan tinjauan operasional (kondisi awal) kelakuanpengemudi kendaraan bermotor sering menyebabkan waktu tundaan (delay), waktu hilang(lost time), panjang antrian (queue lenght), dan kendaraan terhenti (stop rate) yang relatiftinggi, sehingga hal ini patut ditinjau kembali mengenai kapasitas persimpangan yang adasaat ini.Perolehan data pada penelitian ini adalah mengunakan metode survai yaitu meliputisurvai volume lalu lintas, survai kecepatan lalu lintas, survai geometrik simpang dan survaiwaktu sinyal lalu lintas selama 3 (tiga) hari; hari kerja dan hari libur, yaitu tanggal 9,11,15Agustus 2004. Analisa data yang dilakukan mencakup analisa operasional dan analisaperencanaan dengan program KAJI (Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia) ver 1.10x.Hasil analisis operasional 3 fase pada kondisi awal menunjukkan bahwa tingkatpelayanan simpang pada hari kerja dan hari libur adalah macet total atau dengan tingkatpelayanan pada level F analisis. Dari analisa beberapa alternatif 3 (tiga) yang menghasilkanpelayanan simpang pada hari kerja pada “B“. Tingkat pelayanan simpang pada hari liburpada level B. Sehingga dari hasil analisa perencanaan ini dapat diartikan kondisi kapasitassimpang pada analisa ini termasuk katagori kapasitas yang ideal dan optimal.

Abstract

Material construction resources are very limited, but the demand for these materials tends to increase. Therefore, it is necessary to search for alternative materials such as utilizing used goods (garbage) as construction materials. An alternative material used in this study was iron shavings waste as an additional material in the concrete brick mixture to replace sand. Therefore, it can minimize the use of sand and reduce iron shavings. The study was conducted by changing the standard size of the brick according to SNI to a size of 10 x 10 x 10 cm. The results showed that the addition of iron shavings in the concrete mixture was able to increase compressive strength value. The percentage increases in compressive strength of normal concrete blocks were: 14.87%, 24.79%, 45.45%, and 71.90%. The compressive strength of ordinary concrete brick of age 7 days is 41,374 KN, and after iron shaving addition the strength improve by 47,529 KN, 51,632 KN, 60,18 KN and 71,123 KN with the percentage of iron shaving of 2.5%, 5% , 7.5% and 10% respectively. These improve value was also categorized as quality I, II and III according to SNI 03-0349-1989 requirement.

Abstract

The collapse of a column causes the collapse of the entire building that need a large cost for repairing. Therefore, special attention is needed when planning the columns, i.e. by providing a backup strength on columns which greater than other beams and other horizontal structural elements since there is no initial warning in a press-type of collapse. This study aims to determine the efficiency of square concrete column dimensions in case of column calculations after the revision of PBI 1971 to SNI 1991 standard both by manual calculation and using the Turbo Pascal-based application. Calculation utilized the elastic method and ultimate method with the assumption that column conditions are similar as well as the column data is taken from the calculation of reinforced portal structures. Concrete columns are made rectangle with dimensions of size 35 x 35 cm and size 75 x 75 cm, concrete quality K 225, steel quality U24 (2400 kg / cm²), modulus of steel elasticity 2.1. 10⁶ kg / cm² and 5 cm thick of concrete blanket, with the assumption that structural analysis has been conducted for calculating the boundary and moment loads, assuming that the column conditions are similar. In case of the ability to retain the load and moment by the column, assuming the constant area of ​​reinforcement in various dimensions, the results of the elastic method (PBI 1071) were smaller than the ultimate method (SK SNI 1991). The calculation results showed that the ultimate method was more efficient than the elastic method in terms of the efficiency of reinforcing steel use.
