Abstract

ABSTRAK   Berdasarkan SNI-03-2847-2002, tulangan geser yang biasa digunakan adalah tulangan geser yang kaitnya ditekuk 135°. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan studi eksperimental pada balok tinggi beton bertulang dengan beberapa tipe tulangan geser. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan gaya geser yang dapat ditahan oleh tulangan geser dengan pemasangan berbagai macam tipe tulangan geser pada balok tinggi beton bertulang. Pada penelitian ini, dibuat empat (4) buah benda uji balok berdimensi 1,0 x 0,4 x 0,2 m dengan berbagai macam tipe tulangan geser, yaitu balok beton bertulang tipe (B-01), (B-02), (B-03), dan (B-04). Pada balok tipe (B-01) hanya digunakan tulangan tarik 2D19 sedangkan untuk ketiga balok lainnya digunakan tulangan tekan 2Ø10, tulangan tarik 2D19 dan tulangan geser Ø6-90. Pengujian benda uji dilakukan setelah usia beton melewati 28 hari. Berdasarkan analisa hasil penelitian diperoleh balok tipe B-03 dapat menahan gaya geser tertinggi dengan nilai gaya geser (Vu) = 203,681 k N, dapat menahan beban maksimum (P) sebesar 406,593 kN, dan kuat geser yang disumbangkan oleh baja tulangan ( Vs ) sebesar 159,913 kN, tetapi tipe balok yang menggunakan tulangan geser yang dilas (B-03 dan B-04) pada daerah dekat beban mengalami putus. ABSTRACT   Based on SNI-03-2847-2002, the common used stirrup is stirrup with 135° bent hook, which will be replaced by stirrup without hooks but welded in connections. This study aims to determine the differences of shear forces that can be retained by the stirrup with various types installation in reinforced concrete deep beams. In this research was made a set of four (4) pieces of the similiar beam dimensions; they are 1.0 x 0.4 x 0.2 m with various types of stirrup (B-01), (B-02), (B-03) and (B -04). In reinforced concrete beam without stirrup, tensile reinforcement 2D19 is merely used, on the other beams are used compression reinforcement 2Ø10, tensile reinforcement 2D19 and stirrup Ø6-90. Specimen testing was performed after 28 days of age through the concrete. Based on the analysis results is obtained that the beam of type B-03 can withstand the highest shear forces to the shear force values ​​(Vu) = 203.681 kN, can withstand the maximum load (P) of 406,593 kN, and the shear strength contributed by the steel reinforcement (Vs) of 159,913 kN, but the types of beams, that use welded stirrups (B-03 and B-04) in the area near the load, have broken. Abstract

Bambu merupakan tanaman jenis rumput-rumputan yang mudah tumbuh dengan waktu pertumbuhan yang relatif cepat dan dapat dipanen pada usia 3-4 tahun tanpa harus menanam ulang. Meskipun bambu mempunyai sifat fisik dan mekanik yang baik, tetapi pemanfaatan bambu sebagai material konstruksi masih sangat terbatas. Pengembangan material bambu sebagai material konstruksi diharapkan dapat mereduksi penggunaan kayu yang selama ini telah dieksploitasi secara masif. Paper ini menjelaskan hasil kajian eksperimental material bambu dan papan bambu lapis. Papan bambu lapis tersusun atas tiga layer dan setiap layer terbentuk atas bilah-bilah bambu yang tersusun secara paralel. Layer 1 dan 3 merupakan layer permukaan dengan arah memanjang papan, sedangkan layer 2 merupakan bagian tengah papan yang membentuk sudut a terhadap layer 1 dan 3 yaitu 30°, 45° dan 90°. Hasil pengujian tarik menunjukkan bahwa semua bilah bambu berperilaku getas, bagian luar mempunyai kekuatan dan kekakuan yang lebih tinggi dibanding bagian dalam dan ruas bambu merupakan perlemahan dari bilah bambu. Pengujian lentur papan bambu lapis dilakukan dengan four point bending, kapasitas dan kekakuan papan bambu lapis dipengaruhi oleh sudut a dengan nilai optimal 29,33°. Sedangkan kekakuan lentur rata-rata papan bambu lapis sebesar 71% dari penampang teoritis dengan dimensi yang sama untuk bilah bambu luar.

Abstract

Observasi konstruksi jembatan perlu dilakukan secara regular untuk memastikan keamanan operasionalnya. Penerapan metode observasi dengan menggunakan perangkat aplikasi diagnosis kesehatan struktur yang didasarkan pada analisis modus getar berpotensi untuk meningkatkan akurasi hasil dan dapat mempermudah pelaksanaan pekerjaannya. Dalam paper ini disajikan metode desain model struktur jembatan dan metode analisisnya untuk memperoleh karakteristik dinamik yang dapat mewakili struktur jembatan yang sesungguhnya. Selanjutnya dengan struktur model tersebut, korelasi fenomena fisik terhadap pola modus getarnya dapat ditentukan dalam rangka untuk membangun sistem database sebagai bagian dari perangkat aplikasi diagnosis kesehatan struktur yang dikembangkan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan memiliki karakteristik modus getar yang sama dengan konstruksi yang sesungguhnya pada aspek skala 1:23. Komponen struktur sesungguhnya yang berupa profil HWF 300.300.10.15 dapat didekati dengan struktur hollow 15.15.1,4.1,4 pada struktur model yang dikembangkan. Dari hasil pengujian getaran pada frekuensi penggetar 30Hz, pola amplitudo kedua konstruksi menunjukkan pola yang sama dengan error maksimum yang terjadi sebesar 6,37%.

Abstract

Implementing a box culvert system on bridges is an economical choice due to the reduced material use. This system has a joint that blends between the slab and the abutment walls and pillars. With a stiffer joint, the moment that occurs is smaller than a simple beam system. Box culvert foundations are commonly shallow foundations. Consequently, it is vulnerable to settlement, particularly the abutments that receive soil loads from the bridge embankment. Therefore, making the displacement in the abutments greater than in the pillars. The existing box culvert structure at the study site in Semarang, Indonesia has a span of 2 x 15 meters. Reinforcement has been previously carried out using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) to treat cracks. Though, as time passed, the treated cracks reopened and new cracks developed. Structural cracks occur at a negative moment, so that the reinforcement yielded. A reinforcement using CFRP does not increase stiffness—thus, a reinforcement with adding external reinforcement system is used. This reinforcement is done by adding 400 x 200 WF profile—connected mechanically by attaching anchors to the slab. Reinforcement with a WF profile is safer due to its mechanical system, which makes it easier to implement and monitor.

Abstract

Complexity in construction projects tend contractors to share the works to subcontractors. The subcontractor's role has a high influence on project completion. However, in project, disputes between subcontractor and main contractor arise regarding compliance of rights and obligations that impact to claims. This research was conducted to evaluate construction claims from the perspective of subcontractors and contractors related with types of claims, the drive and resistance”™s factors for claims, the impact of claims, total amount of claims, and characteristics of subcontractors. The research method was carried out by distributing questionnaires, interviews, and case studies of projects based on perspective of the contractor and subcontractor. The results of the analysis show that claims for variation order, extension of time and price adjustments are the types of claims regularly occurred; driving”™s factor of claims due to price increases, late of payments and acceleration of the works; the resistance”™s factors for claims are due to lack of understanding of the contract, poor communication, incomplete documents; and the impact of claims are the increase in the cost budget, time of construction, and relationships; regarding total amount of claim with range 1-20 billion; then for subcontractor”™s characteristic, mostly foreign subcontractor regularly propose to claim.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan konstruksi Bendungan Sepaku Semoi dimulai pada Tahun 2020, tipe bendungannya berupa timbunan tanah homogen dan dilakukan pekerjaan timbunan terhadap tubuh bendungannya. Adanya faktor tahapan pekerjaan timbunan yang pada setiap fase akan menambah ketinggian tubuh bendungan serta faktor kualitas pemadatan timbunan tubuh bendungan dapat menyebabkan risiko kegagalan bendungan semakin meningkat. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi perilaku deformasi vertikal dari timbunan tubuh Bendungan Sepaku Semoi agar keamanan tubuh bendungan terjamin pada saat pelaksanaan konstruksi. Identifikasi perilaku deformasi vertikal pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengevaluasi data pembacaan instrumentasi multilayer settlement terhadap kriteria penerimaan menggunakan metode prediksi deformasi saat konstruksi yang terdiri dari tiga metode yaitu total settlement, korelasi vertical strain vs fill height above, dan settlement index. Hasil evaluasi metode total settlement pada seluruh multilayer settlement menghasilkan perilaku normal, begitu juga dengan evaluasi metode korelasi vertical strain vs fill height above menghasilkan perilaku normal, serta evaluasi metode settlement index menghasilkan perilaku normal. Dari ketiga hasil evaluasi metode prediksi deformasi saat konstruksi tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara garis besar, perilaku deformasi vertikal saat pelaksanaan konstruksi Bendungan Sepaku Semoi mempunyai perilaku normal dan tidak melampaui batas dari kriteria yang diizinkan.

Abstract

The problems the Smoke-liquid Craftsman Group often faces are production capacity, product quality, and low selling prices.  Low production capacity due to the limited ability distillation machine. The low quality of smoke-liquid products is due to the absence of standard quality. The smoke produced from the coconut shell charcoal production process has the potential to disturb the environment, so it has been carried out the process of melting smoke into liquid, which is then called smoke-liquid. However, the resulting smoke-liquid is still mixed with ash, brown colour, and intense aroma, and still contains much tar, so it does not meet the standard quality for food preservatives the price is low. The objective of this activity is to apply appropriate technology is carried out by enforcing standard product quality and repairing distillation machines to produce high-quality smoke liquid. This one is to support renewable and environmentally friendly energy programs while being able to increase revenue.  Appropriate Technology (TTG) is in the form of improvements in distillation technology, which was previously a distiller using annular pipes, where the inner pipe is 1/2 inch. The outer pipe diameter is 1.5 inches and is changed with parallel heat pipe exchanger technology using an inner pipe with a diameter of 1 inch and an outer pipe with a diameter of 4 inches.  The result of this service is prototyping a new distillation machine that can increase the production capacity and quality of liquid smoke that meets the specified standard quality and increase the selling price four times.

Abstract

This article presents the results of research on the relationship between pronunciation, context, and meaning in the Qur`an. With the neuroscience approach, naḥw, and ilm al-dalālah, the discussion focused on six things: the selection of the form of the word (sīgah), the mention or disposal of the letters tā or yā, the use of the form mufrad or muṡanna, the choice of wazn, the use of long vowel marks (madd), harakat ḍammah or tasydīd, and selection of certain words. The method used is comparing various verses that contain words or phrases with the same linguistic problems, analyzing their meanings to conclude the results. The analysis of the intended meaning is carried out through a search for the context of each, by considering the differences in the pronunciation of each sound. This research shows that in the Qur`an, the use of pronunciation is very suitable with the meaning in question and the context behind it.

Abstract

The Budong-Budong Dam, located in the district of Central Mamuju, West Sulawesi Province, is currently under construction. The foundation plan of the dam is a layer of river deposits (alluvial) with a thickness of 25 m and a shallow water table depth, which has been shown to have liquefaction potential. This study aims to assess the liquefaction potential of the river deposit layer using some additional SPT test data. This research is expected to confirm the liquefaction potential of the river deposits layer so that it can be considered by the dam owner in determining the foundation excavation limit and prevent dam failure due to liquefaction. The liquefaction potential analysis was carried out using a semi-empirical procedure according to Idriss and Boulanger (2006). The analysis was performed under 2 (two) earthquake conditions, namely Operating Basis Earthquake (OBE) and Safety Evaluation Earthquake (SEE), using different values of fines content (5%, 15%, 35%) and earthquake magnitudes (6.8, 7.0, 7.3, 7.5 and 7.7). The analysis shows that the foundation plan of the Budong-Budong Dam has the potential for liquefaction under both OBE and SEE conditions, which generally occurs at a depth of about 10-12 m from the ground surface.
