Abstract

In the learning process, teachers must formulate learning components including classroom management. In the learning process, it is often found that students are less interested in learning. For this reason, good classroom management by the teacher is needed because good classroom management can have a positive impact on the learning process. This study aims to determine the role of teacher skills in managing the class to increase students' interest in learning. In this study we used a qualitative method, namely through interviews which were reinforced by literature studies. With this research we know how the role of classroom management in increasing student interest, factors and strategies in classroom management, and the obstacles. In line with the results of his research, classroom management has a crucial role in increasing student interest in learning with various strategies carried out by the teacher to manage the class so as to foster interest in learning in students.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is implemented with the aim of making learning relevant and creative in line with current developments and student needs. The main focus of this policy is to provide flexibility to schools and teachers in designing curricula that suit local needs and student characteristics. Teachers play an important role in implementing this curriculum, because they are expected to be able to adapt their teaching methods to suit the needs and potential of their students. Through this policy, teachers are encouraged to play a more active role in the learning planning process, create an inclusive learning environment, and utilize a variety of learning resources. Students are also at the heart of this policy, with an emphasis on developing 21st century skills such as creativity, collaboration, problem solving and critical thinking. By giving students the freedom to choose and design their own learning, we hope they will become more engaged and gain a deeper understanding. Therefore, This article examines the impact or implications of independent curriculum policies in this field.

Abstract

Reading is a complex and complicated process to master in practice. Lack of comprehension skills in beginning reading is caused by factors that come from within the student and factors from outside the student. One alternative that can be used in learning beginning reading is smart wheel media. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The purpose of this study was to examine the use of smart wheel media as an alternative in improving the beginning reading skills of grade I elementary school students. Through the use of Smart Wheel media, it can be effective in helping grade I elementary students develop beginning reading skills. With a creative, interactive approach, and involving all students, the use of this media can create a pleasant learning atmosphere and support the development of reading skills in the early stages of learning.
