Abstract

This study aims to develop Student Worksheets Based on Augmented Reality that are used in practicum material on sensory organs. Currently, there are still schools that do not have a torso, so this Student Worksheet can be used as an alternative for use in practicum on sensory organs. The research was carried out at MAN 3 Cirebon from April to September 2022 in class XI MIA 5 as the control class and class XI MIA 4 as the experimental class. The research was carried out using the Research and Development (R & D) method and the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) development model. The research sampling technique is random sampling. The data collection instruments used were expert assessment sheets, tests, student science process skills rubrics and student questionnaires. The results showed that the average validation results from the two validators was 93.4% and the student worksheet implementation was 96.3%. Concept mastery has increased as evidenced by the N Gain results of the control class using ordinary Student Worksheets with torsos of 12.2% while the N Gain results of the experimental class using Augmented Reality Based Student Worksheets are valued at 56.6%. There is also a difference in the average value of science process skills, namely the control class is 74.73 while the science process skills in the experimental class are 92.62. This shows that the developed Augmented Reality-Based Student Worksheets can improve students' mastery of science concepts and process skills. Student responses to Student Worksheets Based on Augmented Reality can also be categorized as good.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to implement Project Based Learning (PjBL) in improving students' learning outcomes and creativity on the topic of Hydroponics, (2) to determine the impact of PjBL implementation on improving students' learning outcomes, (3) to determine the impact of PjBL implementation on enhancing students' creativity, and (4) to determine students' responses to the Project Based Learning model in improving learning outcomes and creativity. The research method used a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study comprised all 11th-grade students of the Multimedia and Motorcycle Engineering programs at SMK Pejuang Negeri Haurgeulis Indramayu, consisting of 2 classes. The research sample was 32 students from the 11th-grade Multimedia program. The sample was determined by selecting one class as the experimental class using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, and questionnaires. The analysis techniques used were descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of this study concluded that: (1) The implementation of learning using the PjBL model showed that teachers were able to carry out learning effectively, marked by the implementation of the PjBL model with an average percentage of 85%, where observer 1 had 10% unimplemented and observer 2 had 15% unimplemented. (2) The pre-test learning outcomes above the minimum passing grade (KKM) were 31.23%, while the post-test learning outcomes above the KKM were 87.5%. Thus, it can be concluded that there was a 56.25% increase from pre-test to post-test, which is categorized as moderate. (3) The use of the PjBL model in hydroponics projects was very positive for developing students' creativity, as reflected in the average creativity score of 82%, which is categorized as good. (4) The learning process of hydroponics projects using PjBL received positive responses from students, indicated by a percentage of 94.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to gain an overview of the product characteristics of the development of Local Material practicum tools in elementary schools, which can help improve students' mastery of concepts and learning activities in learning how to live humans, animals and plants in elementary schools. The emergence of this goal was motivated by the lack of practicum tools in elementary schools, so that it became an obstacle when they wanted to do practicum. This study used a research and development (R&D) approach covering the stages of curriculum analysis and observation, product design, design validation, design improvement, small-scale trials, and usage trials. The usage trial used Quasi-experiments. The research participants were fifth-graders at SDN Indrajaya 01, 02, 03, and 04, a four-school elementary complex in Indrajaya, Salem District, Brebes Regency. The results showed that the use of Local Material practicum tools can help improve students' mastery of concepts and learning activities. The product is suitable for use where, according to student responses, after a small-scale trial is carried out, it receives a score of 3.04 on the Eligible criteria and the teacher's assessment with an average score of 3.22 on the Eligible criteria. The effective product improves conceptual understanding, with tcount = 2.77 > from ttable 1.69 at a significant level of 5%. Effective products increase student activity with a score of 88.80 in the experimental class and 76.69 in the control class. The results showed that the product development of Local Material practicum tools can help improve students' mastery of concepts and learning activities.

Abstract

Corrosion in excavator tooth buckets is a major issue in the heavy equipment industry, especially in mining and construction. Exposure to water, humidity, and chemicals accelerates corrosion, reducing strength and wear resistance, which shortens component life and lowers operational efficiency. This study analyzes surface structure and material composition changes due to corrosion, aiming to enhance material durability through better selection and design. Using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (EDX), corrosion effects on S45C steel were examined at up to 5000x magnification. The results show increased oxygen (O) from 3.56 WT% to 25.53 WT% and decreased iron (Fe) from 84.21 WT% to 59.35 WT%, indicating severe oxidation. Identified corrosion types include uniform and gap corrosion, highlighting the need for corrosion-resistant materials and protective coatings to improve excavator reliability

Abstract

Pendampingan masyarakat pada Program Rehabilitasi Hutan dan Lahan (RHL) DAS Citarum merupakan kegiatan pendampingan dan gerakan aksi menanam. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di DAS Citarum pada ketinggian 640 -1.000 m dpl dengan luas ± 51.356,54 Ha.Kegiatan Pendampingan Masyarakat memulihkan lahan kritis pada RHL DAS Citarum adalah meliputi : Profil Trees4Trees™ dalam Program RHL di DAS Citarum, Identifikasi lahan kritis pada lahan milik masyarakat di luar kawasan hutan negara, Penyusunan program dan peningkatan kapasitas SDM bersama masyarakat secara partisipatif, Penerapan RHL Pola Konservasi Tanah-Air dan Pola Agroforestry di DAS Citarum dan Pendampingan dan pengorganisasian program kegiatan bersama Masyarakat.Identifikasi lahan kritis pada lahan milik masyarakat di luar kawasan hutan negara di DAS Citarum mencapai luas 51.356,54 Ha, terdiri dari lahan kritis seluas 9.631,27 Ha (18,75 %) dan lahan sangat kritis seluas 41.725,18 Ha (81,25 %). Lahan kritis berada di Sub DAS Cisangkuy, sub DAS Ciwidey dan sub DAS Cirasea di Kabupaten Bandung dan sub DAS Ciminyak di Kabupaten Bandung Barat yang tersebar di 128 Desa, 23 Kecamatan dan di 2 Kabupaten.Penyusunan program dan peningkatan kapasitas SDM bersama masyarakat secara partisipatif dilakukan dengan cara diskusi mendalam serta pelatihan kegiatan RHL di lahan masyarakat. Ruang lingkup kegiatan mulai dari bagaimana proses masyarakat/petani terlibat, apa yang dilakukan masyarakat secara mandiri, dan apa yang difasilitasi untuk masyarakat. Penerapan RHL Pola Konservasi Tanah-Air dan Pola Agroforestry di DAS Citarum meliputi kegiatan Rehabilitasi Lahan dan Reboisasi Hutan di DAS Citarum,  berupa penentuan jenis-jenis pohon kayu kayuan dan jenis buah buahan yang diusulkan masyarakat, pola tanam, jarak tanam, distribusi bibit dan penanamnnya serta target area dan realisasi penyerapan bibit Program RHL di setiap sub DAS di kegiatan tahun 2022.Pendampingan dan pengorganisasian program kegiatan bersama masyarakat untuk komunikasi dan koordinasi dan pelatihan untuk penguatan kapasitas masyarakat/petani dan pendamping lapangan serta penilikan tanam setelah penanaman serta monitoring dan evaluasi.Vegetasi di DAS Citarum didominasi oleh semak belukar, lahan kosong, lahan pertanian dan budidaya lainnya. Penggantian semak belukar dan lahan kosong di DAS Citarum segera dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi bencana ekologi termasuk kekayaan biodeversiti dan kebakaran hutan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan yang paling memungkinkan adalah RHL. Jenis-jenis pohon yang ditanam berupa jenis kayu kayuan dan buah buahan (MPTS) yang tumbuh dalam kawasan DAS Citarum. Jenis-jenis pohon kayu kayuan yang ditanam meliputi mahoni, jati, sengon, suren, jabon, manglid dan gmelina. Jenis buah buahan yang ditanam meliputi: jeruk, sawo, mangga, durian, alpukat, kopi, jengkol, petai dan nangka.Tahap awal luaran program ini adalah kegiatan RHL yang terdapat di 4 sub DAS yaitu Sub DAS Cisangkuy, sub DAS Ciwidey dan sub DAS Cirasea di Kabupaten Bandung dan sub DAS Ciminyak di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Peserta kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 25 orang peserta yaitu mahasiswa pendidikan biologi SPS sebanyak 3 orang, LMDH Desa Bojongsalam dan Desa Arjasari sebanyak 20 orang dan Dosen sebanyak 2 orang.Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2022 sampai Maret 2023 dengan agenda sebagai berikut :Bulan Desember 2022 untuk mengetahui Profil Trees4Trees™ dalam Program RHL di DAS Citarum diikuti oleh Dosen dan Managemen program T4T bertempat di Kantor UM SoreangBulan Januari 2023 untuk Identifikasi lahan kritis pada lahan milik masyarakat di luar kawasan hutan negara diikuti oleh Dosen, Managemen program T4T dan Mahasiswa SPs bertempat di DAS CitarumBulan Februari 2023 untuk Penyusunan Program dan Peningkatan Kapasitas SDM bersama Masyarakat secara Partisipatif diikuti oleh Dosen, Managemen program T4T dan Mahasiswa SPs  bertempat di Desa Bojongsalam CiminyakBulan Maret 2023 untuk Penerapan Rehabilitasi Hutan dan Lahan Pola Konservasi Tanah-Air dan Pola Agroforestry di DAS Citarum dan Pendampingan dan pengorganisasian program kegiatan bersama Masyarakat diikuti oleh Dosen, Managemen program T4T,  Mahasiswa SPs dan LMDH bertempat di Desa Bojongsalam Ciminyak dan Desa ArjasariBiaya pelaksanaan sebesar Rp. 12.500.000, berasal dari kampus UNIKU, sumbangan mahasiswa dan anggaran kegiatan kemahasiswaan pascasarjana. Pengeluaran meliputi biaya pelatihan dan pendampingan kelompok tani  kader konservasi, biaya gerakan penanaman dan bantuan pemeliharaan tanaman dan biaya pendukung

Abstract

Abstrak Lanjut usia termasuk dalam kelompok yang rentan akibat berbagai perubahan yang mereka alami. Perubahan tersebut dapat menimbulkan beragam masalah kesehatan, sehingga lansia membutuhkan dukungan khususnya oleh caregiver informal dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari baik secara fisik maupun mental. Di lokasi tempat kegiatan dilaksanakan, terdapat masalah utama berupa kurangnya pengawasan dan pendampingan oleh caregiver terhadap lansia, yang mana minimnya keterlibatan caregiver informal ini disebabkan karena keterbatasan pengetahuan mengenai perawatan pada lansia, kurangnya keterampilan praktis dalam merawat, serta ketidaktahuan tentang pentingnya perawatan berkelanjutan. Tujuan kegiatan PkM ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan caregiver informal dalam melakukan perawatan umum pada lansia yang didasarkan pada program perawatan jangka panjang (PJP). Kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam PkM ini yaitu memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan, topik edukasi yang diberikan adalah konsep perubahan pada lansia, konsep PJP dan perawatan umum pada lansia, sedangkan kegiatan pelatihan yang diberikan adalah ketrampilan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian lansia yang meliputi latihan pernafasan, latihan fisik aktif dan pasif. Metode pemberdayaan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PkM ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan nilai yang signifikan antara Pre-Test dan Post-Test yaitu sebesar 85% caregiver memiliki pegetahuan yang baik,  dan semua peserta memiliki keterampilan baik dengan nilai rata-rata yaitu 80,4. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan kelurahan dan puskesmas setempat dapat mengambil peran aktif dalam penguatan peran caregiver informal, melalui integrasi program ini ke dalam program kesehatan lansia di wilayah RW 04. Kata kunci: caregiver informal; perawatan umum lansia; kemandirian lansia. Abstract The elderly are a vulnerable group due to the various changes they experience. These changes can lead to various health problems, so the elderly need support, especially from informal caregivers, to meet their daily needs, both physically and mentally. At the location where the activity was carried out, a major problem was the lack of supervision and support from caregivers for the elderly. This minimal involvement of informal caregivers was due to limited knowledge about elderly care, a lack of practical skills in care, and a lack of awareness of the importance of ongoing care. The purpose of this Community Service Program (PKM) is to improve the knowledge and skills of informal caregivers in providing general care for the elderly based on the long-term care program (PJP). The activities carried out in this PkM include providing education and training, the educational topics provided are the concept of change in the elderly, the concept of PJP and general care for the elderly, while the training activities provided are skills to increase the independence of the elderly which include breathing exercises, active and passive physical exercises. The methods used in this Community Service activity are lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. The results of this activity show an increase in knowledge, indicated by a significant increase in scores between the Pre-Test and Post-Test, namely 85% of caregivers have a good understanding, and all participants have good skills with an average score of 80.4. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that the local sub-district and community health center can take an active role in strengthening the role of informal caregivers, through the integration of this program into the elderly health program in the RW 04 area. Keywords: informal caregiver; general elderly care; elderly independence.

Abstract

Tingginya penggunaan produk plastik karena plastik mempunyai beberapa keunggulan seperti ringan, tahan korosi, mudah dibentuk, dan murah harganya. Kecenderungan konsumen lebih memilih menggunakan produk plastik menyebabkan produsen bersaing untuk memproduksi yang dibutuhkan konsumen. Produsen sebagai penghasil produk plastik berusaha meningkatkan kapasitas dan kualitas produksi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh parameter holding time dan injection temperature terhadap penyusutan produk funnel menggunakan material polypropylene. Dimana parameter holding time dan injection temperature berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi waktu yang berdampak pada kualitas dan kapasitas produksi. Metode untuk pengambilan data adalah eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel bebas holding time dan injection temperature. Variabel terikat yaitu penyusutan produk corong (funnel). Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel bebas holding time dan injection temperature terhadap penyusutan produk funnel, yang terbaik di temperature 185 oC dan holding time 1,5 detik.
