Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika dan kemampuan komunikasi siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Pengambilan sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah quasy experimental design dengan jenis nonequivalent control group design. Sampel diambil menggunakan purposive sampling pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kaliwungu Kabupaten Kudus tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dengan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen yang mendapat perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas kontrol yang mendapat pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran ceramah. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah meliputi kemampuan merumuskan masalah, merencanakan penyelesaian, melaksanakan penyelesaian, dan meninjau kembali hasil. Sedangkan kemampuan komunikasi yang diteliti meliputi kemampuan komunikasi lisan dan tulisan. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan kemampuan pemecahan fisika adalah sebesar 0,54 dengan besar pengaruh 30%. Hubungan antara model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan kemampuan komunikasi ditunjukkan dengan angka korelasi biserial sebesar 0,35 dengan angka pengaruh sebesar 12,75%.   This research aims at determining the influence of guided inquiry learning model to physics problem solving and communication ability of Junior High School students. The sample collection research was taken two classes of eight grade SMP N 1 Kaliwungu Kudus Regency academic year 2016/ 2017 using purposive sampling. This research applied quasy experimental design with nonequivalent control group type. Samples were taken using purposive sampling in 1 Kaliwungu Kudus Senior High School year 2016/2017 with VIIIB which received treatment using guided inquiry learning model as experimental class and VIIIA which received direct learning model treatment as control class. The problem solving ability include problems formulating, planning solution, execute solution, and examinate result. Communication ability include oral communication and written communication. The result of analysis data shows that the influences of guided inquiry learning model to physics problem solving ability is 0,54 with number of influences 30%. The relationship between guided inquiry learning model and communication ability is indicated by the biserial correlation rate of 0.35 with the influence rate of 12.75%.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK), pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah belum cukup membantu siwa dalam memahami suatu konsep. Siswa akan lebih mudah memahaminya jika direpresentasikan secara visual dan terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran. Media charta merupakan media visual yang mampu menyajikan konsep-konsep yang sulit bila hanya disampaikan secara tertulis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa Charta Free Body Diagram (FBD) yang moveable dan petunjuk penggunaannya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Maos Kabupaten Cilacap pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 . Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA dengan mengambil sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Metode penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development. Tahapan penelitian yaitu observasi media pembelajaran fisika, selanjutnya pengembangan desain dan pembuatan charta FBD yang moveable. Penelitian ini menghasilkan charta FBD dan petunjuk penggunaannya yang layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Implementasi charta FBD digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan multirepresentasi siwa pada materi Kesetimbangan dan Dinamika Rotasi. Uji gain kemampuan multirepresentasi siswa sebesar 0,55 (sedang). Uji gain kemampuan representasi visual, representasi matematis, dan representasi verbal berturut-turut sebesar 0,73 (tinggi), 0,54 (sedang), dan 0,35 (sedang). Selain itu, Charta FBD telah mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa sebesar 82,69 % pada implementasinya. Charta ini diharapkan dapat menunjang pembelajaran fisika dan dapat meningkatkan aspek-aspek pada kemampuan multirepresentasi.     The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), learning by lecture method is not enough to help students understand a concept. Students will be easier to understand it if represented visually and actively involved in learning. Chart Media is a visual media that is able to present difficult concepts if only delivered in writing. The purpose of this research is to develop Moveable Free Body Diagram (FBD) Charts Media and its instructions for use. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Maos Cilacap Regency in the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018. The subjects in this research were students of grade XI IPA by taking samples through purposive sampling technique. This research method is Research and Development. The stages of research are the observation of physics learning media, the development of design and the production of moveable FBD charts. This research produces the FBD chart and its usage guidelines are worthy of use as a learning media. The implementation of FBD charts is used to improve multirepresentation skills of students on Equilibrium Material and Rotation Dynamics. Gain test the multirepresentation skills of student equal to 0,55 (medium). Gain test the visual representation skills, the mathematical representation skills, and the verbal representation skills are 0.73 (high), 0.54 (medium), and 0.35 (medium). In addition, FBD charts has received a positive response from students equal to 82,69 % on implementation it. FBD charts is expected to support the learning of physics and can improve the aspects of multirepresentation skills.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop an IPA (Physics) learning module in form of pop-up and smash book on Nature of Light that tested it is feasibility, effectiveness, and practicality. This research uses Research and Development methode (R & D). Test design using pre-eksperimental design with one group pretest-posttest. Initial test was conducted at SLB Wantu Wirawan and final test was conducted at SLB Negeri Salatiga. The result show that the module in form of pop-up and smash book on Nature of Light was classified feasible by media validator and material validator with media feasibility percentage 90,50% and material feasibility 85,50%. The effectiveness percentage of module 92,00% with N-Gain 0,64 and practicality percentage 92,50%. Based on the result of this research concluded that module in form of pop-up and smash book was proven feasible, effective, and practical to use by deaf students in IPA (Physics) learning, particularly on Nature of Light

Abstract

The learning process of physics needed a deep analysis. Students with special needs, especially those who were deaf and lack in hearing ability, had some problems in Physics learning including in Sound concept. Availability of learning media in Physics learning for those deaf students was still in minimum number. There were deaf students who had hearing ability although it was less. The less hearing ability could still be employed to optimize the learning proces. This study aimed to develop fotonovela as a product of learning media with audio help for deaf students, and to determine the suitability and effectiveness of it. Result of the study concluded that the fotonovela with audio help  was very suitably and effectively applied in the learning for deaf students.

Abstract

Procedural knowledge is a factor in problem solving. In the problem solving process, expertise is needed to arrange appropriate procedures to solve a problem. The focus of this study is to determine the ability of candidate teachers in arrange problem solving procedures and knowing the relationship between the ability to arrange problem solving procedures with problem solving abilities. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Research data was obtained from written tests, interview tests and field notes. Analysis of the ability to arrange problem solving procedures using guidelines for problem solving stages according to Docktor, et.al. (2016) namely usefull description, physics approach, specification application of physics, mathematical procedures and logical progression. Based on the analysis, the ability to develop problem solving procedures for teacher candidates is divided into 3 types, namely: type 1, type 2, and type 3. The average percentage of the ability of prospective teachers in developing type 1 problem solving procedures is 51.52%, type 2 is 37.38%, and type 3 by 10.5%. In addition, the results obtained that there was no relationship between the ability to form problem solving procedures with problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Flooding is a crucial problem in Jakarta city and there were many ideas to solve that problem, such ascanals development, land use management, applying soil conservation technique, check dam building,injection well, reservoir dam until rain moving technique. Abstract

Peningkatan persentase jumlah pengunjung yang bertujuan untuk kuliner menunjukkan adanya peluang usaha kuliner di Kota Bandung. Pemilik usaha Distro Sandwich memiliki ide untuk membuka usaha kuliner Distro Sandwich di Mall Kota Bandung. Untuk melaksanakan rencana tersebut dibutuhkan studi kelayakan investasi pada usaha tersebut.Aspek yang dikaji terdiri dari Aspek pasar, Aspek teknis, Aspek legal dan lingkungan, Aspek SDM, Aspek finansial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kelayakan kelima aspek, usaha Distro Sandwich dinyatakan layak, dan terpilihnya Mall X sebagai lokasi usaha dengan menggunakan metode Incremental Analysis ROR. Berdasarkan hasil analisis sensitivitas, batas perubahan keputusan kelayakan, apabila penuruanan jumlah penjualan tidak lebih dari 6,8% dan kenaikan biaya bahan baku tidak lebih dari 8,58%. Kata Kunci: Usaha kuliner, Distro Sandwich, Analisis Kelayakan Investasi   Abstract Increasing the percentage of the number of visitors that aims to demonstrate the existence of culinary business opportunities in the city of Bandung. Business owner Distro Sandwich have an idea to open culinary business named Distro Sandwich in Bandung Mall. To implement the plan feasibility studies needed investments in the business. Aspects studied consisted of market aspects, technical aspects, legal and environmental aspect, human resources aspect, financial aspects. Based on results of the five aspects of feasibility analysis, business Distro Sandwich declared eligible, and election of Mall X as a business location using Incremental ROR Analysis. Based on the results of the sensitivity analysis, boundary changes in eligibility decisions. If the increase in raw material cost no more than 8,58%. Abstract

Tingkat stress penduduk perkotaan mulai meningkat hal ini disebabkan oleh padatnya aktivitas dan padatnya arus lalu lintas yang ada. Maka dari itu spa menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk relaksasi agar pikiran kembali relaks. Dengan adanya peluang tersebut maka harumi home spa didirikan untuk membuat para konsumen menjadi merasa lebih puas dan dimanjakan karena tidak perlu pergi keluar rumah untuk mendapatkan jasa spa. Melihat adanya kendala yang disebabkan bentuk usaha yang masih baru dan adanya kompetitor yang hanya bertahan sebentar dalam menjalankan usaha yang sejenis, maka dibutuhkan sebuah studi mengenai analisis kelayakan investasi. Metode untuk menganalisis peluang investasi ini dilakukan dengan lima aspek penelitian yaitu aspek pasar, aspek teknis, aspek legal, aspek sumber daya manusia, dan aspek finansial. Hasil penelitian analisis kelayakan ini layak untuk diimplementasikan. Dengan target penjualan 2.811 orang/tahun, payback period (PP) 1 tahun 2 bulan, net present value (NPV) Rp.208.602.293,-, dan interest rate of return (IRR) 81,5%. Seeing constraints caused fledgling establishment and existence of competitors who only a short time in running similar businesses, it takes a study on the feasibility analysis of investment. Methods for analyzing investment opportunities is done by five aspects , namely aspects of market research, technical aspects, legal aspects, aspects of human resources, and financial aspects. The results of the analysis of the feasibility study is feasible to implement. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitin pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain produk kerajinan sokasi berbasis material komposit matrik polyester berpenguat serat batang bambu sesuai dengan keinginan/permintaan customer menggunakan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Kelayakan desain produk kerajinan sokasi diperoleh berdasarkan hasil pengujian data, yang didapat dari hasil penyebaran angket. Kelayakan desain produk kerajinan sokasi berbasis material komposit matrik polyester  berpenguat serat batang bambu telah melewati tahap pengembangan yaitu uji ahli produk, uji kelompok kecil dan uji kelompok besar. Uji ahli desain produk dilakukan oleh dosen Pendidikan Seni Rupa Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha dan dengan mendapatkan nilai sebesar 80% sehingga masuk dalam kriteria sangat baik. Uji kelompok kecil dilaksanakan pada 5 orang masyarakat Desa Sambangan  dan mendapatkan nilai sebesar 82% sehingga masuk dalam kriteria sangat baik. Kemudian uji kelompok besar dilakukan pada 20 orang masyarakat  Desa Sambangan dan mendapatkan nilai sebesar  86% sehingga masuk dalam kriteria sangat baik dan desain produk kerajinan sokasi layak digunakan.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Desain, Sokasi, Quality Function Deployment.This research is a research development that aims to produce a design product based on composite rod reinforced bamboo fiber reinforced material according to the wishes / requests of customers using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. The feasibility of the design of the craft product sokasi is obtained based on the results of testing the data, which is obtained from the results of questionnaire distribution. The feasibility of the design of handicraft products based on composite material of bamboo fiber reinforced composite matrix has passed the development stage, namely product expert test, small group test and large group test. The product design expert test was conducted by the lecturer of the Fine Arts Education University of Ganeshadan University with a score of 80% so it was included in the very good criteria. The small group test was carried out on 5  people of Sambangan Village community and got a score of 82% so it was included in the very good criteria. Then a large group test was carried out on 20 people of Sambangan Village community and got a value of 86% so that it was included in the very good criteria and the design of the handicraft product was suitable for use. Keywords: Design Development, Sokasi, Quality Function Deployment.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta di lapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan daftar peserta olimpiade sains nasional bidang fisika 2011 yang dirilis oleh Diknas terlihat bahwa komposisi asal peserta dari Jawa Tengah adalah SMAN 1 Purwokerto, SMAN 1 Brebes, SMAN 1 Ungaran, SMAN BBS Sragen, SMAN 1 Pekalongan, SMA Kolose Loyola Semarang, SMAN 1 Surakarta, dan SMA Regina Pacis Surakarta. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk membekali materi praktikum bagi guru físika di luar SMA yang disebutkan di atas sehingga mempunyai pengalaman mempersiapkan siswanya untuk mengikuti OSN dari tingkat awal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman peserta tentang materi praktikum yang diujikan OSN seperti bandul fisis, dan momen inersia silinder, osilasi tabung berisi air, 80 % dapat memahami konsep dan teori yang terkait dengan praktium tersebut. Untuk rumusan bagaimana praktikum bandul fisis dan momen inersia silinder dilaksanakan, 90 % dapat menjelasakan dengan baik, dan hanya 10 % peserta yang dapat menjelaskan tahapan praktikum osilasi tabung berisi air.
