Abstract

Floods that hit parts of Jakarta today, due to human negligence in paying attention to the environment. Human activities by building buildings or other facilities without taking into account the open land area causes the rainwater catchment area to decrease. Likewise also the disposal of garbage in rivers or gutters that are not in place, so that water can not flow smoothly, which in turn results in an overflow of water. Therefore, it takes the making of biopori infiltration holes (LRB), where the main ingredient is organic waste. The LRB functions to absorb water into the soil and organic waste planted in holes can be used to make compost. LRB does not require a large area, and the manufacturing process is straightforward, this is undoubtedly the right solution for areas with narrow open land. However, this appropriate technology must be accompanied by community care to want to sort waste and treat LRB. Community care to preserve nature is the primary key to flood prevention.

Abstract

Many types of plants are used by the community as medicinal herbs, but how to use them varies based on local wisdom of the local community. It is necessary to identify medicinal plants in the Sriwijaya Botanical Garden and its usage by the Bakung Village community to increase the collection of the Sriwijaya botanical garden and increase the amount of genetic conservation of medicinal plants in the wetlands. Data collection techniques carried out by field surveys and interviews and data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. There were 31 types of medicinal plants used by the community in Bakung Village. The leaves are the most widely used and processed by boiling and then drinking the water. The results of the exploration of medicinal plants can add a database of medicinal plants in the Sriwijaya Botanical Garden.

Abstract

Bioethanol is ethanol produced from glucose (sugar) fermentation, followed by the distillation process. Another method besides distillation is needed to increase the bioethanol produced. This study aims to increase the levels of bioethanol from pineapple skin using a cracking former catalyst by comparing the effectiveness of the use of chemically activated adsorbents using a base (NaOH) and acid (HCl). The adsorbent used in this study is the former RU III cracking catalyst, the FCC catalyst. The adsorbent is as a substitute for natural zeolite adsorbents, which are relatively expensive compared to the FCC catalyst. The results showed that the most effective ratio for bioethanol levels was 10 mL: 6 gr of adsorbent that activated by HCl, was 63.73%.

Abstract

Waste from sugar cane, bagasse or bagasse contains cellulose which is the main raw material for making pulp. The lack of utilization of sugarcane bagasse makes sugarcane bagasse into a pile of garbage that pollutes the environment. This research aims to make pulp from sugarcane bagasse using NaOH as a cooking solution and H2O2. The research method was carried out by varying the cooking solution at 2%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 8%, and 10% NaOH concentrations at temperatures of 100oC, 110oC, 120oC, 130oC and 140oC, then proceed with calculating the percentage of yield and permanganate numbers . The highest percentage of yield is at a temperature of 140oC with a concentration of 2% NaOH, while the lowest permanganate number is at a temperature of 140oC with a concentration of 10% NaOH.

Abstract

Pineapple is a perishable fruit, has a short shelf life which is only lasted 7 days at room temperature conditions (28oC - 30oC). To overcome this problem, it is necessary to do postharvest processing of pineapple as a form of pineapple diversification, so that it can maintain the value of pineapple sales during the pineapple season and abundant pineapple. One diversification of pineapple that can be done is to make pineapple chips. Making pineapple chips is done by 2 methods, namely making chips with pineapple that was previously in the freezer first and making chips with fresh pineapple. Characteristics of fresh fruit and pineapple chips are tested in a laboratory, including test parameters: proximate (water content, ash content, fat content, protein content and carbohydrate content), total acid, vitamin C, reducing sugar, pH, total dissolved solids and% parts which is eaten. Pineapple chip shelf life test is carried out on two treatments namely freezer (through cooling) and fresh (without freezer). Each treatment was tested with a mass stored in pp-Al foil and full Al-foil packaging. Each treatment in each package was tested for ALT-bacteria and MPN coliform. From the results of the ALT Bacterial Laboratory Test it was seen that for fresh pineapple chips and freezer pineapple chips with full aluminum foil or half aluminum foil (pp-al foil) packaging there was no difference in results where bacterial growth was still 0 (no bacteria growing, only MPN Coliform but still below the eligibility standard that is <2). This proves that pineapple chips made are suitable for consumption in a storage period of 1 month.

Abstract

This assistance activity in the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of Foster Father's Program a community service activity that aims to produce a draft SOP of Foster Father's Program at the Industry and Trade Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperatives (PPKUKM) of DKI Jakarta Province, as well as improving understanding related to the theory, principles, and techniques for preparing SOP in accordance with government regulations. A SOP is a written manual. Participants of this activity came from 5 private universities in Jakarta and one of them was Bakrie University which together with the PPKUKM Office actively participated in the SOP development socialization event in March 2021 using mentoring methods. The activity of preparing the SOP for the Development of Foster Father's Program begins with the activity of compiling and collecting materials, after which the material or material activities, then continued by formulating the Operational Standard of The Development Procedure of Development Foster Father's Program.

Abstract

Pasang surut merupakan perubahan tinggi permukaan air yang diakibatkan adanya fenomena gaya gravitasi bulan, oleh karena itu data ini sangat dibutuhkan dalam berbagai bidang, diantarannya bidang hidrografi, oseanografi, proyek rekayasa, perikanan. Hal ini menimbulkan konsekuensi atas ketersediaan alat ukur pasang surut dalam skala besar, praktis, ekonomis, akurat dan akses data yang cepat. Dalam penelitian ini penulis bermaksud untuk meningkatkan kemampuan prototype alat ukur pasang surut sensor pressure yang telah dikembangkan oleh peneliti sebelumnya sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut serta diharapkan mampu mewujudkan kemandirian teknologi dalam negeri. Upgrade tersebut dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan microcontroller Arduino uno, sensor pressure, serta menambahan perangkat telemetri menggunakan modul GSM. Modul GSM SIM 800L merupakan jenis modul GSM/GPRS Serial yang banyak digunakan di bidang elektronika sebagai aplikasi pengendalian jarak jauh via Handphone. Hasil penelitian ini berupa prototype alat monitoring ketinggian air yang mampu memberikan informasi ketinggian air secara cepat akurat dan efisien dengan tingkat kesamaan sebesar 0.999 terhadap peralatan pabrikan Tide Master. Abstract

Permintaan mengenai kebutuhan pada bidang konstruksi terus meningkat tiap waktunya. Banyaknya Perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang konstruksi bersaing untuk memberikan pembangunan yang terbaik pada clien-nya. Namun pada kenyataan, setiap proyek yang berlangsung tidak selalu berjalan mulus. Banyak sekali terjadi humans erorrs selama proses konstruksi berlangsung. Hal tersebut bisa saja terjadi karena pihak penyedia jasa masih mengandalkan metode- metode konvensial pada kegiatan konstruksi dan belum menerapkan digitalisasi. Digitalisasi ini merupakan bentuk kepedulian terhadap dunia konstruksi di Indonesia, khususnya area Solo raya. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, maka dilakukanlah pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk memberdayakan penyedia jasa untuk melakukan digitalisasi pada kegiatan konstruksi melalui penerapan BIM. Penyedia jasa yang digandeng merupakan penyedia jasa lokal yakni, CV Batu Intan. Pengabdian ini berisikan kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan penggunaan BIM 5D. BIM 5D dipilih karena BIM 5D dapat menentukan volume material serta biaya secara akurat. Hal tersebut tentu sangatlah membantu selama kegiatan konstruksi berlangsung. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini adalah perencanaan, sosialisasi dan pelatihan (short course), serta peninjauan dan monitoring evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan hasil yang baik pada penyedia CV. Batu Intan dalam penggunaannya terhadap BIM menjadi lebih paham dari yang sebelumnya masih awam mengenai BIM. The demand for needs in the construction sector continues to increase. Many companies operating in the construction industry compete to offer the best construction to their clients. However, in reality, every project that is carried out does not always go smoothly. Many human errors occur during the construction process. This could happen because service providers still rely on conventional methods in construction activities and have not implemented digitalization. This digitalization is a form of concern for the world of construction in Indonesia, particularly in the greater Solo region. To achieve this, a service has been produced which aims to enable service providers to digitize construction activities through the application of BIM. The partner service provider is a local service provider, namely CV Batu Intan. This service contains socialization and training activities in the use of 5D BIM. BIM 5D was chosen because BIM 5D can accurately determine material volumes and costs. This is definitely very useful during construction activities. The methods used in this service are planning, socialization and training (short courses), as well as evaluation, monitoring and follow-up. This service activity gives good results to CV providers. Batu Intan, in his use of BIM, has become more proficient than he was before.

Abstract

LRT Jabodebek sebagai proyek infrastruktur LRT pertama di Indonesia telah memberikan pembelajaran tentang implementasi kapabilitas dinamik pada aspek manufaktur bagi industri konstruksi. Dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan 2900 unit girder precast tipe-U, produksi dalam kondisi normal diharapkan selesai pada tahun 2020. Akselerasi penyelesaiannya menyebabkan kebutuhan proyek meningkat signifikan, penyelesaian konstruksi yang dipercepat menyebabkan kendala kekurangan produksi. Pemenuhan kebutuhan akselerasi tersebut menuntut pabrik harus dapat meningkatkan kapasitas produksinya dengan menggunakan metode steam curing. Studi kasus ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan berfokus pada kapabilitas dinamik dalam proses produksi. Sebagai role model penerapan kapabilitas dinamik manufaktur, proyek ini telah mendemonstrasikan peran teknologi dalam peningkatan produktivitas. Integrasi metode, posisi aset, dan proses manajemen adalah faktor produktivitas yang paling dominan dalam mempercepat produksi precast girder tipe-U. Performa produksi yang optimal dapat dicapai dengan mengintergrasikan peran pabrik, site proyek, dan manajemen yang didukung oleh sumber daya dan pengalaman personil yang memadai

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat efisiensi serta kehilangan air pada jaringan daerah irigasi Bendung Pandi yang berlokasi di Desa Ngawen, Kecamatan Margorejo, Kabupaten Pati. Studi ini dilakukan di saluran irigasi primer, sekunder, maupun tersier. Analisis efisiensi dan kehilangan air dilakukan dengan metode perbandingan antara debit masuk dan debit keluar. Data primer yang digunakan adalah kecepatan aliran air, yang diukur menggunakan current meter pada saluran primer maupun sekunder, serta pelampung untuk saluran tersier. Selain itu, digunakan juga data sekunder dari Stasiun Klimatologi Jawa Tengah berupa catatan evaporasi selama 10 tahun terakhir. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa total kehilangan air pada jaringan daerah irigasi Bendung Pandi mencapai 15,23%. Air yang hilang akibat evaporasi tergolong rendah, sehingga penyebab utama kehilangan air lebih berkaitan dengan kondisi fisik saluran. Kehilangan terbesar terjadi pada saluran irigasi sekunder-1, sekunder-4, dan saluran tersier yang berbasis tanah. Secara keseluruhan, rata-rata efisiensi dari jaringan daerah irigasi Bendung Pandi mencapai 84,76%, dengan rincian efisiensi pada saluran primer 93,35%, saluran sekunder 83,01%, dan saluran tersier 77,93%.
