Abstract

The propulsion system is a system that supports the performance of high-speed ships. Waterjet ship propulsion systems have long been known and used as propulsion systems for various types of ships, but their widespread application is still subject to their relatively low propulsive efficiency when compared to ship propulsion systems that use propellers, especially during relatively low ship speeds. The usual problem with ROVs using conventional propellers when inspecting in low water in the river is the blockage of river impurities, such as water hyacinths and underwater roots, on the ROV propellers. But there is a limitation to the problem when this waterjet is installed on the ROV should be used on inspections that do not work on the seabed, and the ROV can only be in a hovering position because the waterjet is susceptible to dirt. The purpose of this study was to analyze the ship's resistance of the waterjet remotely operated vehicle (ROV) propulsion system with the results of simulating the effect of the Waterjet ROV design on the total resistance of the Waterjet ROV increased by 5.69 N using the CFD method and the difference in prisoner comparison using the maxsurf method was 1.75%. The thrust analysis of the ROV model with a waterjet propulsion system has a higher thrust increase of 9.21 N when compared to the ROV model with a conventional propeller propulsion system, with a thrust value of 6.94 N. From the analysis of the fluid velocity contour results of the two best ROV models, namely the Waterjet ROV because the placement of the waterjet position on the outer side of the ROV frame so that the placement of the original Propeller inside the inner frame of the ROV is released as a result it tends not to create more turbulence and friction in the water in the middle of the ROV but the surface of the ROV frame on the outside which is added waterjet propulsion components causes higher hydrodynamic pressure.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between social media promotion exposure on Instagram @officialfdxbeauty and the interest in visiting the X Beauty Event, using the AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) theory. A quantitative approach was used by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who are followers of the @officialfdxbeauty account. The results of the Pearson Product Moment correlation test show a significant, strong, and positive relationship between the three sub-variables of promotion exposure, namely intensity, message content, and appeal, with the interest in visiting the X BeautyEvent. The findings indicate that promotion content delivered through the @officialfdxbeauty account, in terms of frequency, clarity of information, and visual and emotional appeal, effectively captures attention, builds interest, generates desire, and encourages actual actions from the audience. Thus, the higher the intensity of exposure to promotional content, the more interesting and relevant the message content, and the stronger the visual and emotional appeal, the higher the interest in attending the X Beauty Event. This confirms that Instagram is an effective medium in supporting digital marketing communication strategies, especially in shaping the interest in visiting an event.

Abstract

This research aims to understand how transvestites shape their meaning through their experiences as members of the Mannequin Theater Community in Kampung Duri, West Jakarta. This community is a safe space for transvestites to express themselves and live a more inclusive social life. This study uses a qualitative approach with Alfred Schutz's phenomenological method to examine the subjective experiences of informants. Data was collected through observation and in- depth interviews with four transvestite community members. The results of the study showed that each informant had a different sense of self, such as the courage to be themselves, pride in identity, the desire to be useful to others, and the determination to live life according to personal choice. This sense of self is born from the process of interaction in the community that provides a safe space and social support for its members.

Abstract

Identifying risks in construction projects is essential for anticipating hazards and developing effective risk management measures. The intricacy of construction projects encompasses numerous aspects that can impact their effective completion, including the risk of worker accidents in the field. This study aims to identify Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) risk factors in foundation work through a literature review using the Publish or Perish application. Literature was obtained through the Google Scholar and Crossref databases, with a maximum search limit of 100 articles, and was limited to the 2020–2025 period to ensure relevance to current conditions. Search phrases used included risk management, risk identification, occupational safety and health, and foundation, with literature selected based on the suitability of the title and its relevance to the research objectives. The study findings reveal 11 potential hazards, with five predominant risks: being struck by construction materials, being impacted or ensnared by heavy machinery, falling into dig sites, sustaining puncture or laceration injuries from sharp objects, and experiencing ocular ailments due to exposure to materials or dust. These findings affirm that foundation work presents a considerable hazard, necessitating the implementation of risk control hierarchy, such as elimination, engineering methods, administrative measures, enhancement of worker safety behavior, and adaptation to contextual dynamics to fortify the safety culture in construction projects.

Abstract

Efficient management of national wealth and resources is key to realizing the welfare of the Indonesian people. The Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) was established as a strategic institution aimed at optimizing government investments to drive national economic growth. The launch of the Danantara Project has sparked various public responses, particularly on the social media platform X, which has become a space for citizens to express their opinions on government policies. This study aims to analyze public sentiment toward the Danantara Project using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. By processing 3,152 posts from the period of February 24 to April 4, 2025, the SVM model demonstrated strong performance with an accuracy of 87%. The research findings indicate that positive sentiment is quantitatively more dominant, reflecting public expectations of national investment progress and strategic project management. However, negative sentiment is also quite significant, highlighting issues of corruption, lack of transparency, and potential project failure.
