Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Problem based learning pada materi ekosistem di SMA Negeri 11 Banda Aceh.Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan bulan April – Agustus 2017, lokasi penelitian pada sekolah SMANegeri 11 Banda Aceh.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahmetode eksprerimen(exprerimental research) dengan desain penelitian, Pretest-Postest. Sebagai populasi ditetapkanseluruh siswa kelas X. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XiA1 sebagaikelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XiA2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang di pilih berdasarkan randomsampling. Kelas eksperimen diajarkan dengan mengggunakan model pembelajaran ProblemBased Learning (PBL), sedangkan Kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan model konvensional. Keduakelas ini di berikan materi dan butir soal yang sama Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah soaltes sebanyak 25butir soal, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Lembar Kerja Siswa(LKS) hasil belajar Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t pada tarafsignifikan 0,05 diperoleh harga t-hitung sebesar 2,54 sedangkan nilai t-tabel 1,68 sehingga t-hitung tt-tabel. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh penerapan problem based learning dapatmeningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini akan memberikan manfaat langsung kepada guruBiologi akan dapat mengetahui konsep ekosistem melalui strategi pembelajaran Problem BasedLearning (PBL)

Abstract

Perception is the experience of an object, phenomenon, or connection obtained by inferring information and interpreting a message. The perceptions of individuals can be very different even if the objects we observe are the same. This research is about the perception of the traditional fishing community of Tarek Pukat which aims to find out the efforts made by the traditional fishing community of Tarek Pukat to preserve the local wisdom of marine coastal conservation in Gampong Jawa. In this study, a sample was selected by 12 traditional fishermen of Tarek Pukat while the instrument consisted of questionnaires and interview guidelines. The results of the data collection found that the perception of traditional fishing communities of Tarek Pukat towards local wisdom efforts for marine coastal conservation, generally fishermen showed positive perceptions. It can be seen from the answer to questionnaires and interviews that fishermen have understood the meaning of local wisdom and how local wisdom includes in daily habits by doing an activity such as clean of the coastal areas through social works, prohibited to throw trash on the sea related to the marine life preservation. Fishermen also understand the forbidden day of Tarek Pukat, which is on Friday and the day of religion commemorates and the Independence Day celebration. The other understanding that fishermen reflect about local wisdom is not to cut the trees of Aron which planting along the coast. It caused fish on the sea difficult to breed. Apart from that, the system of Tarek Pukat that fishermen do by local wisdom, still observes the coastal mouth areas in order to obtain the quality of the fish that they catch. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand how the management of education functions and how the school recognizes and maximizes each student's potential. With an interactive qualitative approach and a case study format, this study employs a qualitative descriptive method. Employing observation, interviewing, and documenting techniques to gather research data. According to the study's findings, education management is carried out in accordance with eight national education standards, including those for content, graduation, processes, facilities and infrastructure, management, financing, assessment, and educator and education staff. Every student is unique and has varied potential, according to school administration. Additionally, it is consistent in implementing a multiple intelligence system in which every student goes through the stages of Multiple Intelligences Research (MIR), which is research carried out by a team to discover the type of intelligence or potential possessed by each student. By knowing this type of intelligence, teachers can apply teaching techniques or strategies that are suitable for students' learning preferences. In order for each child to develop in accordance with his or her talents and interests.

Abstract

Abstract: Fisheries sector, where in Aceh is a considerable amount of natural resource, has become a significant economic contributor for fishermen in particular and people of the province of Aceh. More than 55% of Aceh’s population depends on it both directly and indirectly. Therefore, it should be a priority for development in the province of Aceh and develop a positive impact on the widespread economic development in the region. While recognizing its economic values, research on how lokal fishermen’s communities use marine conservation in TPI Lampulo Banda Aceh to improve their awareness of marine conservation and its use sustainably is still largely lacking. This study, hence, aims to shed lights what sort of lokal wisdom is employed by the community. The approach in the study was the whole fishing community at the surrounding of TPI Lampulo along with five seas and two village sets. The sample in this study was 20 people, 14 people were fishermen, 2 seamen, 1 sea marshal, 1 village secretary and 1 village chief. Data are gathered through interviews and observations. Research suggest that the lokal wisdom of the fishing community in TPI Lampulo on ocean conservation is among other things: firstly, Taking care of the coastal environment like the mangrove forest use. Next, Fishing techniques that do not damage the ecosystems around the ocean coast, and than, Rules enforcement. Finally, and customary witnesses for breaking those rules have been in place for a long time. All of those remains maintained by the people especially the fishing community in TPI Lampulo.Keywords: Lokal Culture; Sustainable Utilization; Marine Conservation.Abstrak: Provinsi Aceh merupakan salah satu provinsi yang memiliki potensi kekayaan sumber daya alam yang cukup besar terutama disektor perikanan. Sumber daya perikanan telah menjadi salah satu sektor andalan bagi nelayan dan masyarakat di provinsi Aceh. Lebih dari 55% penduduk Aceh tergantung pada sector ini baik langsung maupun tidak langsung, pengembangan sektor perikanan harus menjadi salah satu prioritas pembangunan di provinsi Aceh sehingga memberikan dampak positif bagi perkembangan ekonomi secara luas di kawasan ini. Permasalahan dasar dalam penelitian adalah’ bagaimana kearifan lokal masyarakat nelayan dalam upaya pemanfaatan konservasi laut di TPI Lampulo Banda Aceh dalam rangka meningkatkan bentuk kesadaran masyarakat nelayan terhadap menjaga konservasi laut dan pemanfaatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk kearifan lokal. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriftif. Yaitu dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara terhadap responden, sedangkan populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat nelayan yang berada di TPI Lampulo beserta panglima laot dan dua perangkap Desa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 orang yaitu 14 orang masyarakat nelayan, 2 orang pawang laut, 1 orang panglima laot, 1 orang sekretaris desa dan satu orang kepala desa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat kearifan lokal masyarakat nelayan di TPI Lampulo terhadap konservasi laut antara lain. Pertama, mengatur berbagai hal seperti pemanfatan hutan mangrove, selanjutnya, penangkapan ikan yang tidak boleh menganggu ekosistem di sekitar pesisir laut, berikutnya, aturan-aturan yang boleh dikerjakan dan ada aturan yang tidak boleh dikerjakan. Dan terakhir sangsi adat apabila ada yang melanggar, aturan-aturan tersebut sudah ditetapkan sejak lama. dan hingga saat ini masih dipertahankan oleh masyarakat khususnya masyarakat nelayan yang berada di TPI Lampulo.Kata Kunci: Kearifan Lokal; Pemanfaatan Berkelanjutan; Konservasi Laut.

Abstract

Trends in tourism motives include socio-cultural, customs, environment, and panorama, as well as economics and welfare. However, the implementation of tourism will undoubtedly be disrupted by management and development that are not founded on the principles of sustainability. Therefore, through the process of environmental education, preventative and awareness initiatives are required. The main objective of this research was to examine the effectiveness of an ethnoecotourism-based environmental education model for tourism actors in Aceh Province. This model was developed to increase environmental literacy in marine tourism management. Model trials were carried out in the Sabang City Marine Tourism Area. The participants of this research were tourism actors in Aceh Province. The research design uses a quasi-experimental method consisting of pretest-posttest groups and uses multiple-choice questions as a research tool. The data analysis technique applied in this research was quantitative descriptive analysis techniques, in which data were processed inductively using an interactive analysis model. It is known that this model could improve the environmental literacy skills of tourism actors at the research location. It was shown by the significant value obtained at p = 0.000 (< 0.05), where there was a difference in students’ scores after being given the learning process, with the average post-test score of 12.43, higher than the pretest score of 8.40, which means there was an increase in understanding of environmental literacy after being given a learning process using an ethnoecotourism-based environmental education model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan informasi yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis sikap ilmiah pada pembelajaran pelestarian makhluk hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Kualitatif (Qualitative Research), dilakukan analisis pengembangan yang berhubungan dengan isu-isu lingkungan Aceh. Dari analisis pengembangan ini diperoleh hasil bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis sikap ilmiah pada pembelajaran pelestarian makhluk hidup dapat diterapkan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran yang mengkaji permasalahan pelestarian makhluk hidup dan lingkungan Aceh; pembelajaran yang efektif, terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran dan kegiatan lapangan yang dapat memperjelas pembelajaran di kelas; menekankan pada kemampuan pengetahuan dan keterampilan agar siswa peduli terhadap pelestarian makhluk hidup dan lingkungan Aceh; mengembangkan aktivitas inkuiri dan aktivitas sikap ilmiah secara nyata; menggunakan metode dan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Materi pembelajaran pelestarian makhluk hidup dapat diintegrasikan dengan sasaran, prinsip, dan metode dalam model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis sikap ilmiah (pengembangan silabus inkuiri berbasis sikap ilmiah, bahan ajar, lembar kegiatan siswa (LKS), tes pelestarian makhluk hidup, dan skala sikap).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and reconstruct the local potential of natural resources in the Iboih ecotourism areas as a source of biology learning. The final target of this study is to be used as references for educators and developers of biology learning in utilize local potential as a context for biology learning. The method used by this study is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This study was conducted in the Iboih ecotourism areas of Sabang Island, consists of two stages, namely the first exploration of local potential in the ecotourism area, and the second describing local potential as a source of learning based on contextual. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis techniques by using observation sheet that researcher developed. The results of observations and analysis showed that the material that can be used as a source of learning from the Iboih ecotourism areas is related to ecology, with material content about ecosystems, biodiversity, and ecological interactions. Therefore, the study of local potential in the Iboih ecotourism areas is known potential to be used as a source of contextual biology learning, that closely related to eveyday life.
