Abstract

Pliek u obtained by traditionally fermentation of coconut meat is a potential source of antimicrobial compounds. This research was aimed to detect of their active compounds by bioautographic method and to analyze their chemical composition by GC-MS. For this purposes, pliek u was extracted with ethanol 96% to get crude ethanol extract of pliek u (EEP) and to get ethanol extract of residual pliek u (EERP) which was previously extracted by hexane. Crude EEP was separated into four bioautographic spots with different Rfs (0.93, 0.71, 0.19, and 0.10) which were all shown to be active against Staphyloccoccus aureus. Similar result was shown by EERP, but only resulted three bioautographic spots (Rfs 0.77, 0.63, and 0.4). Crude EEP consisted of 22 components representing 99.98% with fatty acids, ester, alcohol as major constituents and aliphatic hydrocarbon. EERP consisted of 9 components representing 99.80% with alcohol as major constituents and fatty acids, ester, 4-Dibenzofuramine and amine as minor constituents. The present of many active compounds in pliek u supports the use of pliek u as spice to improve the quality of food and encourages further studies to determine those active compounds. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui berbagai jenis tanaman sayuran yang dibudidaya di Desa Cot Yang Kecamatan Kuta Baro Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Metode penelitian ini adalah survei yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan informasi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Tanggal 28-30 Nopember 2016 dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari observasi yang dilakukan ditemukan hasil yaitu terdapat 6 jenis tanaman sayur-sayuran yang dibudidaya di Desa Cot Yang. Tanaman-tanaman sayuran tersebut masing-masing berasal dari satu family yang berbeda diantaranya, Apiaceae, Brassicaceae, Caricaceae, Convolvulaceae, Gnetaceae, Euphorbiaceae. Dari hasil wawancara dengan petani sayuran ditemukan bahwa sayur-sayuran ini merupakan mata pencaharian mereka yang di jual dengan jumlah dan harga sesuai permintaan pasar. Abstract

This study aims to determine the methods and materials in delivering da'wahused by da'i in Central Aceh Regency during the corona period. The pandemicperiod has been running for approximately two years, which has changed alllines of life from normal life. This makes the da'i must have the skills andabilities in choosing the media and materials to be delivered to their mad'u.Da'wah still has to be carried out but with a different method compared tonormal times. The key informants in this research are preachers who are in theCentral Aceh region. The research method used is a descriptive qualitativemethod and the findings of this study are that the material presented by apreacher must cover the fields of economics, psychology, and encourage thepublic to always comply with government recommendations to always maintainhealth protocols to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the reasons Kompania dance as a media for the prevention and treatment of diseases among the people of Wasalabose Village. This study uses the ethnographic method with the technique of collecting data through observation and in-depth interviews. The data collection is a descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that Kompania dance is a traditional dance which is carried out as an expression of gratitude and illustrates the victory in the war between the Kulisusu forces against the Company who had taken control of the Ambon area. Kompania dance is held twice a year during the celebration of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha and cannot be done on another day. The Kulisusu community in Wasalabose Village made Kompania dance as a means of preventing and treating diseases because there are sacred or magical powers in the dance which are believed to be able to prevent and treat various diseases. Generally, patients who come in rituals and ask for prayer so as to avoid various kinds of diseases kept away from disasters and given a long life. Compania dance has several functions, namely health functions, religious functions, functions of art (entertainment), economic functions and social functions. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeteksi Salmonella sp. pada daging puyuh (Coturnix-coturnix japonica) afkir di Kecamatan Darul Imarah Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Sampel penelitian berjumlah sepuluh ekor puyuh afkir yang diambil dari dua peternakan (peternakan A dan B) di Kecamatan Darul Imarah Kabupaten Aceh Besar, masing-masing peternakan diambil lima ekor puyuh afkir. Deteksi Salmonella sp. dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode rujukan SNI 2879:2008 yang terdiri dari uji pre-enricment, enrichment, isolasi dan deteksi Salmonella sp. Tahapan pengujian ini dipisahkan menjadi uji persumtif menggunakan media Lactose Broth (LB), Rappapport Vassiliadis (RV), Xylose Lysine Deoxycholate (XLD) dan uji konfirmasi digunakan media Triple Sugar Iron Agar (TSIA) dan Lysine Iron Agar (LIA). Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu, dari sepuluh sampel yang diuji, seluruhnya menunjukkan hasil positif pada media RV dan LB, dan hanya dua sampel yang menunjukkan hasil positif pada media XLD, TSIA, dan LIA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dua dari sepuluh sampel (20%) daging puyuh (Coturnix-coturnix japonica) afkir di Kecamatan Darul Imarah Kabupaten Aceh Besar yang diuji terdeteksi Salmonella sp.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kualitas telur berdasarkan indeks kuning telur, indeks putih telur, dan nilai haugh unit, yang disimpan pada suhu kamar dan refrigerator pada ayam yang diberi sinbiotik AKBISprob 4%. Penelitian ini menggunakan 24 butir telur dari 12 ekor ayam petelur strainISA Brown periode layer berumur 16 bulan. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola faktorial, faktor utama pemberian sinbiotik AKBISprob, faktor kedua penyimpanan pada suhu kamar dan refrigerator. Perlakuan P0 (telur dari ayam yang diberi pakan komensial 324-2R sebagai kontrol), P1(telur dari ayam yang diberi pakan sinbiotik AKBISprob 4% yang diberikan setiap hari), P2 (telur dari ayam yang diberi pakan sinbiotik AKBISprob 4% diberikan tiga hari sekali), P3 (telur dari ayam yang diberi pakan sinbiotik AKBISprob 4% yang diberikan lima hari sekali).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan interaksi antara pemberian sinbiotik AKBISprob 4% dan penyimpanan pada suhu kamar dan refrigerator tidak berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) terhadap peningkatan indeks kuning telur, indeks putih telur, dan nilai haugh unit,  pemberian sinbiotik AKBISprob 4% berpengaruh sangat nyata (P0,01) terhadap peningkatan indeks kuning telur, tidak berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) terhadap peningkatan indeks putih telur, berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) terhadap peningkatan nilaihaugh unit. Penyimpanan pada suhu kamar dan refrigerator berpengaruh sangat nyata (P0,01) terhadap kualitas indeks kuning telur, indeks putih telur dan nilai haugh unit. Pemberian sinbiotik AKBISprob 4% dengan interval pemberian tiga hari sekali pada ayam dapat meningkatkan indeks kuning telur, dan nilai haugh unit.Penyimpanan telur pada refrigerator dapat mempertahankan kualitas telur lebih baik dibandingkan suhu kamar.Abstract The aim of this research is to find out the quality of eggs by egg yolk index, eeg white index, andvalue haugh unit, which were stored at room temperature and refrigerator, in chickens fed synbiotic AKBISprob 4%. This research took a sample of 24 eggs from 12 hens laying strain ISA Brown period was 16 months. The design was completely randomized factorial design, main factor was giving symbiotic AKBISprob, second factor was storage at room temperature and refrigerator. P0’s treatment (egg from chicken fed commercial 324-2R as control), P1 (egg from chicken fed synbiotic AKBISprob 4% were given every day), P2 (egg from chicken fed synbiotic AKBISprob 4% were given once three days), P3 (egg from chicken fed synbiotic AKBISprob 4% were given once five days). The results showed the interaction between the giving of symbiotic AKBISprob 4% and storage at room temperature and refrigerator had no significant effect (P0,05) on increased of  egg yolk index, white egg index, and value haugh unit, giving synbiotic AKBISprob 4% had significant effect (P0,01) on increased of index egg yolk, had no significant effect (P0,05) on increased of index white egg, had significant effect (P0,05) on increased value haugh unit. Storage at room temperature had very significant effect (P0,01) on quality of egg yolk index, white egg index, and value haughunit. Giving synbiotic AKBISprob 4% with three-day intervals on the chicken could increase egg yolk index andvalue haugh unit. Egg storage on refrigerator could maintain the egg quality better than room temperature.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui resistensi beberapa jenis antibiotik terhadap Escherichia coli yang diisolasi dari telur ayam dari beberapa warung kopi kawasan Darussalam, Banda Aceh.Metode deteksi E.coli mengacu pada Bacteriological Analytic Manual (BAM) dan pengujian kepekaan E.coli terhadap antibiotik dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram.Penelitian ini menggunakan 21 telur ayam yang dari tujuh warung kopi.Antibiotik yang digunakan yaitu ampisilin, gentamisin, streptomisin, siprofloksasin, eritromisin, sulfametoksasol dan tetrasiklin.Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ampisilin, eritromisin dan sulfametoksasol yang resisten terhadap 12 koloniE.coli, tetrasiklin dan streptomisin resisten terhadap 11 koloni E.coli, dan gentamisin resisten terhadap 2 koloni E.coli. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan E. coli yang diisolasi dari telur ayam yang dijual di warung kopi kawasan Darussalam Kecamatan Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh menunjukkan tingkat resistensi yang sangat tinggi yaitu ampisilin 100%, eritromisin 100%, tetrasiklin 92%, streptomisin 92% dan sulfametoksasol 100%) dan tidak resisten terhadap antibiotik jenis siprofloksasin dan gentamisin.Kata kunci: Esherichia coli, antibiotik, resisten, telur ayam.ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was to determine of antibiotic resistance in some types of Escherichia coli which isolated from Chicken Eggs in several Darussalam Coffee shop Banda Aceh Area. The Detection test of E.coli that reference to Bacteriological Analytical Manual (BAM) method and sensitivity test for E. coli to antibiotics is done by disc diffusion method. This study used 21 Chicken Eggs samples that collected from 7 coffee shop, the antibiotics that used were ampicillin, gentamycin, streptomycin, ciprofloxacin, erythromycin, sulfametoxazole, and tetracycline. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results of this study showed resistance to the ampicillin antibiotic, erythromycin and sulfametoxazole to as well as 12 E. coli colonies, 11 E. coli colonies for tetracycline and streptomycin, and 2 E. coli colonies for gentamycin. The conclution is this study showed a fairly high level of resistance on the egg that isolated from several Darussalam coffee shop area banda aceh, there is resistance to ampicilin antibiotic 100%, eritromycin 100%, tetracycline 92%, streptomisin 92% and sulfametoxazole 100%, and not resistance of ciprofloxacyn and gentamycin antibiotics.Keywords : Esherichia coli, antibiotic, resistance, Chicken Eggs.

Abstract

AKBISprob merupakan ampas kedelai dan bungkil inti sawit yang difermentasi dengan Aspergillur niger. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui total mikroba pada telur ayam yang diberi pakan tambahan AKBISprob 4% selama penyimpanan pada suhu refrigerator dan suhu  ruangan selama 14 hari. Penelitian menggunakan 12 ekor ayam petelur strain ISA Brown berumur 16 bulan. Sampel yang digunakan adalah telur ayam. Sampel diambil pada hari ke 29 dari setelah pemberian AKBISprob. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (RAL Faktorial) terdiri atas dua faktor yaitu faktor pengaruh suhu penyimpanan terhadap kualitas  telur dan faktor lamanya penyimpanan telur penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan P0 (pakan komensial 324-2R 110 g); P1 (AKBISprob 4% yang diberikan setiap hari); P2 (AKBISprob 4% yang diberikan tiga hari sekali); dan P3 (AKBISprob 4% yang diberikan lima hari sekali). Total mikroba telur selama penyimpanan pada suhu refrigerator dan suhu  ruangan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis varian. Rata-rata (±SD) total mikroba telur dari ayam yang diberi AKBISprob pada penyimpanan suhu ruangan dan suhu refrigerator P0, P1, P2, dan P3 berurutan adalah total mikroba pada penyimpanan suhu ruangan 4,57±0,96, 5,03±0,09, 4,82±0,16 dan 4,86±0,29. Total Mikroba pada penyimpanan suhu refrigerator 4,95±0,06, 4,78±0,16, 4,43±0,03 dan 4,53±0,99. Hasil menunjukkan penyimpanan telur pada suhu refrigerator berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) terhadap penyimpanan pada suhu ruangan. Pemberian AKBISprob 4% tidak berpengaruh secara nyata (P0,05) terhadap total  mikroba pada telur. Tidak ada interaksi antara suhu dan perlakuan AKBISprob 4% terhadap jumlah total mikroba.(This study aimed to determine total microbes ofeggs which were suplemented with AKBISprob 4% while stored in refrigerator and room temperature for 14 days. This study used 12 ISA Brown Strain Layer Poultry aged 16 months. Sample were taken in 29th days since first time AKBISprob was fed. This study used Factorial Randomized Design based on two factors and divided to 4 treatments and 3 repetitions. P0 (commercial feed 324-2R 110 g); P1 (AKBISprob 4%, fed everyday);P2 (AKBISprob 4%, fed once in three days); and P3 (AKBISprob 4%, fed once in five days).Total of microbes while stored in refrigerator were analyzed by using ANOVA (Analysis of Varians).Total of microbes (±SD) from AKBISprob treatmentand eggs were produced then stored in room and refrigerator temperature ofP0, P1, P2, and P3respectively, total microbes in room temperature were4,57±0,96, 5,03±0,09, 4,82±0,16and4,86±0,29 andafter refrigerator storage were4, 95±0,06, 4,78±0,16, 4,43±0,03 and4,53±0,99.This result showed that refrigerator storage has significantly affect (P0,05) to room temperature storage. but, thathas not significantly (P0,05) to total microbes on eggs.So there are no relation between temperature andAKBISprob 4%treatment to total microbes on eggs.)
