Abstract

Atmospheric physics is very useful in predicting rainfall, particularly for analyzing air saturation conditions as a prerequisite for condensation. This study aims to model rainfall prediction using thermodynamic parameters, namely relative humidity (RH) and dew point temperature difference (ΔT). These parameters were collected from BMKG Lampung meteorological data (2022–2024) and processed using the Magnus equation. ΔT is important as a sensitive indicator of air unsaturation. The data were statistically analyzed and modeled using a Gradient Boosting Classifier. The results obtained indicate a strong correlation between RH and ΔT and rainfall events (point-biserial correlation of 0.475). Furthermore, ΔT during rainfall is lower (average 2.87°C) and stable, indicating near-saturation conditions. During the evaluation stage, the model achieved 76% accuracy and 84% recall during rainfall. The model's good performance proves the effectiveness of physical parameters as predictive features. Finally, the model was implemented in a Flask-based web application for practical accessibility.

Abstract

National education in Indonesia is currently facing a serious challenge in the form of a gap between theoretical moral knowledge and students' actual behavior in the field. This study aims to analyze the integration strategy and effectiveness of the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) learning to improve students' moral attitudes amidst the challenges of adolescent moral degradation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data collection was carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with 3 teachers and 10 students, as well as documentation studies of teaching modules at SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Tiga, Pidie district, which were then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results showed that integration was carried out through three main strategies, namely the insertion of values ​​in teaching materials, a project-based learning model, and school culture habituation. In addition, a significant increase was found in students' moral attitudes, especially in the dimensions of faith and piety in the aspects of academic honesty, mutual cooperation in collaboration, and global diversity in tolerance. This study concludes that PPKn learning oriented on the Pancasila Student Profile is effective in transforming civic knowledge into real and relevant moral dispositions. Therefore, it is recommended that schools adopt Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek as the main model and strengthen habituation as a support for the whole-school approach to character sustainability

Abstract

This study was conducted to review the effectiveness of the Policy Guarantee Institution by the Deposit Insurance Corporation. The addition of the authority of the Deposit Insurance Corporation based on Law No. 4 of 2023 can cause problems. The consolidation of policy guarantee authority to the Deposit Insurance Corporation, which previously only guaranteed banking customers in accordance with Law No. 24 of 2004 concerning the Deposit Insurance Corporation, has an impact on the ineffectiveness in carrying out its duties. The purpose of this study is to determine how the policy guarantee institution is regulated in insurance companies in Indonesia and secondly, how effective the policy guarantee carried out by the Deposit Insurance Corporation. The method used in this study is normative juridical with a statutory regulatory approach. The results of this study indicate that the regulation of the Policy Guarantee Institution does not exist even though it has been mandated in Law Number 40 of 2014 concerning Insurance. The absence of regulations related to the Policy Guarantee Institution in insurance companies in Indonesia results in ineffectiveness and public distrust of insurance companies, so that regulations related to the Policy Guarantee Institution in insurance companies in Indonesia are needed.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan demokrasi di Indonesia dalam praktiknya menghadapi kendala yang bersifat politis dan ideologis. Sungguhpun demikian demokrasi sudah menjadi pilihan politik yang diyakini sebagai salah satu bentuk sistem politik terbaik untuk mencapai efektivitas penyelenggaraan pemerintahan negara. Akan tetapi setelah merdeka, praktik kehidupan demokrasi masih mengalami pasang surut seiring dengan dinamika perkembangan politik di Indonesia. Secara konseptual pemikiran demokrasi yang berkembang di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan pemikiran demokrasi di luar Indonesia, khususnya pemikiran demokrasi yang dikembangkan oleh elit intelektual pada masa pergerakan dan sesudahnya. Kata kunci: demokrasi dan ketatanegaraan. The implementation of democracy in Indonesia in practice had hindrance politically and ideologically. However, democracy had been political choice assumed as one of the best political system to achieve effectivity in performing the State. Yet, after independence, the living democracy practice still have to move high and low along with dynamic political growth in Indonesia. Conceptually, democracy’s thought developed in Indonesia affected by the development of foreign democracy’s though, especially thought of democracy developed by intellectual expert at the movement ages and subsequently. Abstract

Hubungan antara konstitusi dengan negara sangat erat. Negara dalam hal ini pemerintah tidak dapat melaksanakan kekuasaan tanpa konstitusi. Demikian sebaliknya, konstitusi tidak akan lahir tanpa adanya negara. Akan tetapi, kelahiran sebuah konstitusi adalah kehendak dari rakyat, sebab rakyatlah yang memiliki kedaulatan atas Negara. Dalam pandangan K.C. Wheare, Konstitusi digambarkan sebagai system ketatanegaraan dari suatu Negara dan kumpulan dari berbagai peraturan yang membentuk serta mengatur pemerintahan. Tulisan ini mengkaji dan menganalisis secara yuridis berbagai peraturan perundang-undangan berdasarkan teori untuk menjawab permasalahan hubungan Konstitusi dan Negara dalam Paham Konstitusionalisme.

Abstract

Introduction: In the digital era, journalists increasingly face the risk of criminalization due to journalistic work interpreted through multi-interpretative provisions of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law and the Criminal Code. This condition creates tension between press freedom as a constitutional function and law enforcement practices that ignore the Press Law as lex specialis.Purposes of The Devotion: The purpose of this article is to provide legal education for journalists to strengthen their understanding of press law and reduce the risk of digital criminalization in journalistic practices.Method of The Devotion: This community service activity employed legal education methods through lectures, discussions, and case studies involving journalists to enhance awareness of press freedom, social responsibility, and press dispute resolution mechanisms.Results Main Findings of the Devotion: The results of the community service activity indicate an increase in journalists’ understanding and legal awareness regarding the balance between press freedom and social responsibility in carrying out the journalistic profession. Participants gained a more comprehensive understanding of the risks of digital criminalization, particularly those arising from the application of multi-interpretable provisions in the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). In addition, this activity encouraged journalists to implement preventive measures through the strengthening of journalistic ethics, fact verification, and compliance with the principles of press law.
