Abstract

Epoxy resin has been developed as an insulator material on the distribution and transmission line. In its development, the basic composition of DGEBA epoxy resin with MPDA as hardener is hydrophilic. Silane is added to improve the surface properties of materials to be more hydrophobic. To reduce the volume of epoxy resin as base material, silica sand from PLTP Dieng is added as filler. This paper presents the results of research on the effect of adding the composition of silica materials from PLTP Dieng upon silane epoxy resin sample to the value of the dielectric loss factor, contact angle and leakage current. Samples were prepared with a sample size 120mm x 50mm x 5mm. Material is composed of DGEBA, MPDA, silanes and silica with a various composition. Sample codes were 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%. Contact angle and leakage current were carried out according with IEC 587:1984 standards. Measurement of the dielectric loss factor (Tan ) was carried out at the Laboratory of High Voltage Engineering, PT. PLN (Persero) Electricity RD, Duren Tiga Jakarta, using a measuring instrument series M4100 Insulation Analyzer Instrument. The electrodes used in these measurements have diameter of 2.5 cm and 5 cm. The results showed that the composition of silica materials PLTP Dieng upon silane epoxy resin samples affect the value of dielectric loss factor. Based on the results of the measurement, it is concluded that the higher composition of silica materials, the higher value of dielectric loss factor are. Based on these results, it is suggested that the use of silica as a filler must consider the effect on the value of dielectric loss factor. When the dielectric loss factor is high, then the losses in the dielectric material is also high.

Abstract

Polymer insulators have become an alternative to change the ceramic insulator because it has a better dielectric properties, mass density is lighter and can be made at room temperature vulcanized so it is economically more advantageous. But, the disadvantage is prone to degradation due to environmental factors such as ultraviolet radiation, temperature, humidity or rain, and pollution, especially if located in the tropical areas. To overcome these disadvantages, silane materials was added to epoxy resin. This study uses an epoxy resin polymer material made of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA) and metaphenylene diamine (MPDA) and silane. Ratio of epoxy resin and silane were 60% and 40% respectively. Dimensions of the test material were 120 mm x 50 mm x 5 mm. The Inclined-Plane Tracking (IPT) method according to standard IEC 587:1984 was used. The NH4Cl and Gresik Industrial and Parangtritis beach contaminants were used in this research to compare it others. The results showed that the test sample with a contact angle 86.18Omore resistant to leakage current and insulation failure, it was indicated by the timing of the discharge in 17.001 s and insulation failure in 17.812 s. When a sample tests more hydrophobic then the leakage current and insulation failure longer to occurs. The degradation phenomenon is most severe damage from a beach Parangtritis contaminant than industrial and NH4Cl contaminants.

Abstract

In modern era, everything can be accessed by technology. One of the famous ones for young generation is YouTube or video blog (vlog) where someone can take a video for specific purposes. Google noted that there are 60% of people all over the world uploaded their activity in vlog and publish it in YouTube. Teaching speaking for students is not easy it needs huge extra to improve their speaking moreover in this global era where everything is measured by the achievement of the studentsThis research used to know the implementation of creating vlog in English Language Teaching (ELT). This research used qualitative descriptive in ilustrating the result. The subject of this research is the students of VI SDN Batang-Batang Daya 1. The instrument of this research are observation sheet, field note, in depth interview with the teacher and questionnaire for students. To analyze the data the researcher used descriptive qualitative. The result of this research described abot the implementation of creating video blogging (vlog) in English langage teaching (ELT) in teaching speaking.

Abstract

Salah satu peralatan yang berperan penting dalam penyaluran ketenagalistrikan adalah isolator. Fungsi dasar isolator adalah memisahkan sisi peralatan yang bertegangan dan tidak bertegangan. Isolator terpasang pada sistem transmisi dan distribusi diharapkan mampu bekerja dengan optimal, untuk menjaga keandalan penyaluran ketenagalistrikan. Tidak menutup kemungkinan isolator yang terpasang mengalami gangguan yang disebabkan karena temperatur, kelembaban dan polutan. Isolator dalam keadaan berpolutan dan dengan kondisi udara yang lembab, memungkinkan terjadi korona pada isolator. Korona yang muncul dengan frekuensi yang sering, dapat memicu terjadinya arching discharge yang berakhir dengan terjadinya kegagalan tegangan pada isolator tersebut. Pada studi ini dilakukan investigasi penyebab munculnya fenomena arching discharge isolator keramik pada Gardu Induk. Fenomena ini terjadi pada semua tipe isolator yang terpasang, baik isolator bushing, isolator gantung dan isolator tarik. Untuk mengetahui penyebab fenomena tersebut, dilakukan pengambilan data lapangan kualitas udara ambien dan polutan permukaan isolator. Polutan yang menempel pada permukaan isolator, dilakukan pengujian XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) untuk mengetahui komposisi polutan. Dari hasil pengujian XRD didapatkan, komposisi yang dominan adalah NaCl (Sodium Chloride) 39 % kemudian disusul CaSO4.2H2O (Gypsum) 28,6 %.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the locutionary forms of Ustadz Faqih Syarif’s motivation in the Thanks God Tomorrow is Friday event on Smart FM radio. Ustadz Faqih Syarif’s motivational illocutionary speech act in the thanks god tomorrow is Friday event on smart fm radio. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The method of data collection in this research is the method of listening. The source of this research data is a recording of the motivator event Ustadz Faqih Syarif in the Thanks god tomorrow is Friday event on smart Fm radio. Based on the presentation of the results of the research and discussion, it is concluded that the forms of locutionary speech acts in the Thanks God Tomorrow is Friday event are divided into two types, namely development techniques and indirect speech acts. development techniques are dominated by informative, descriptive speech acts, while narrative speech acts are declarative, interrogative and imperative.

Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Piko Hidro (PLTPH) merupakan sistem pembangkit listrik skala kecil yang menggunakan air sebagai sumber energi utama. Proyek ini terletak di Desa Timbangreja dan mengandalkan air dari saluran irigasi. Turbin Pelton yang dibuat dari pipa galvanis dengan diameter 2 inci digunakan untuk mengubah energi kinetik air menjadi energi mekanik yang menggerakkan generator DC. Generator AC 200W dengan tegangan 12V digunakan dalam proyek ini, dan charge controller MPPT mengontrol pengisian baterai. Hasil pengukuran mencatat debit air sebesar 14 L/min. Kecepatan turbin dan generator tanpa beban adalah 86,31 RPM dan 1862,2 RPM dengan tegangan 82,13V. Saat terhubung dengan baterai, kecepatan generator menjadi 688,31 RPM pada turbin dan 31,87 RPM pada turbin. Tegangan rata-rata keluaran generator adalah 14,22V dengan arus 1,64A, menghasilkan daya rata-rata 23,32W. Efisiensi generator dihitung sekitar 56%. Pengisian baterai berhasil menghasilkan energi maksimal 411,84W. PLTPH ini merupakan contoh sederhana dan efisien pemanfaatan sumber energi pico hidro untuk menghasilkan listrik ramah lingkungan. Dengan potensinya dalam menyediakan listrik bagi komunitas dengan akses terbatas, proyek semacam ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup.

Abstract

Smoked fish is a fishery product that meets the nutritional needs of the population. The traditional smoking method leads to the production of H2S, which reduces the aroma and is carcinogenic. The liquid smoke technology offers a solution to the challenges associated with the application of traditional smoking methods. However, the use of the liquid smoke method remains limited in smoked fish businesses. This study aimed to evaluate and develop a downstream strategy for producing and distributing liquid smoke to facilitate its implementation by smoked fish businesses based on SWOT analysis. This study employed a quantitative descriptive methodology utilizing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analytical framework. The data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The obtained data were subjected to weight calculations using the Expert Choice tool. The research findings indicate that the optimal approach for developing downstream liquid smoke products is to create a novel product in the form of liquid smoked fish. Liquid-smoked fish are immersed in or coated with liquid smoke to achieve an extended shelf life and smoky aroma, without traditional smoking methods. In addition, it establishes a strategic alliance between scholars, entrepreneurs, and the government. Strategic relationships can be established by developing a shared agenda focusing on fostering a sustainable blue economy. The blue economy refers to the use of hygienic, healthy, and non-carcinogenic fishing products such as smoked fish to promote sustainable economic growth and enhance community welfare.

Abstract

ABSTRAKBiaya utilitas adalah salah satu komponen terbesar dalam biaya produksi sebuah pabrik farmasi. Dari total biaya utilitas, 63% berasal dari pemakaian energi listrik. Jika energi listrik tersebut dapat diperoleh dari Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT) hingga 10.65%, maka akan berdampak positif bagi biaya produksi. EBT yang dapat dipakai adalah Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) dengan memanfaatkan atap gedung produksi. Selain penghematan perlu diperhatikan dampak interkoneksi PLTS terhadap arah aliran daya, kestabilan sistem kelistrikan saat gangguan, dan potensi terhadap sambaran petir ke instalasi PLTS. Optimalisasi desain PLTS dengan Helioscope menunjukkan kapasitas PLTS yang dapat dipasang hingga 1,1 MWp. Hasil analisis aliran daya dengan ETAP menunjukkan bahwa daya reaktif yang mengalir balik ke jaringan PLN sangat kecil. Sistem kelistrikan dengan injeksi daya dari PLTS ini dapat stabil setelah mengalami gangguan. Berdasarkan metode sudut perlindungan maka untuk 9 bangunan yang dipasang PLTS tersebut diperlukan proteksi petir level IV.Kata kunci: energi surya, kestabilan sistem tenaga, aliran daya, perlindungan sambaran petir ABSTRACTUtility costs are one of the largest components in the production expenses of a pharmaceutical plant. Among utility costs, 63% of total cost takes from electricity consumption. If this electricity can be supplied from Renewable Energy (RE) up to 10.65%, it will have a positive impact on production costs. The viable RE source is PhotoVoltaic Solar Power (PV) by utilizing the building's production area rooftop. The others impact must be given to the PV system's effects on power flow direction, electrical system stability during disturbances, and susceptibility to lightning strikes on the PV installation. Optimation result of the PV system design using Helioscope indicates a capacity of up to 1,1 MWp. Power flow analysis using ETAP results demonstrate minimal reactive power flowing back to the grid. The electrical system with power injection from the PV system regains stability after disturbance. Based on the angle protection method, a lightning protection level IV is required for the 9 buildings with PV systems.Keywords: Solar energy, power system stability, power flow, lightning strike protection.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPeralatan pembangkitan tegangan tinggi yang ada sejauh ini masih memerlukan perangkat-perangkat besar dan kompleks. Pada penelitian ini dihasilkan suatu alat pembangkit tegangan tinggi impuls yang menjawab persoalan dimensi dan kompleksitas. Metode pembangkitan tegangan tinggi impuls yang digunakan berbasis pada pemanfaatan ignition coil. Ignition coil diberi masukan berupa gelombang kotak. Gelombang kotak memicu proses switching pada komponen SSR (solid state relay) sehingga tegangan masukan yang berupa gelombang kotak dapat dinaikkan menjadi gelombang impuls bertegangan tinggi. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menerapkan tegangan masukan DC sebesar 1 – 12 V dan mengamati hasilnya dengan pengambilan 5 sampel spektrum pada osiloskop dan pengamatan fisis. Tegangan tinggi impuls mulai dapat dihasilkan pada variasi tegangan masukan 3 V. Secara fisis, tegangan tinggi impuls dapat diamati dengan munculnya bunga api ujung elektroda. Rata-rata tegangan tinggi impuls 31,4 kV tercapai pada tegangan masukan 7 V.Kata kunci: bunga api, ignition coil, impuls, pembangkit, tegangan tinggi ABSTRACTThe equipment of high voltage generating which so far still requires large and complex devices. In this research a high voltage impulse generator device was produced which answered the dimensional and complexity issues. The method of high voltage impulse generation is based on the utilization of the ignition coil. The ignition coil is given input in the form of a square wave. The square wave triggers the switching process on the SSR (solid state relay) component so that the input voltage in the form of a square wave can be increased into a high-voltage impulse wave. The test was carried out by applying a DC input voltage of 1 – 12 V and observing the results by taking 5 spectrum samples on an oscilloscope and physical observations. High voltage impulses can be generated at variations in the input voltage of 3 V. Physically, high voltage impulse can be observed by the appearance of a spark at the tip of the electrode. The average high voltage impulse of 31.4 kV is achieved at an input voltage of 7 V.Keywords: spark, ignition coil, impulse, generator, high voltage
