Abstract

This study was conducted in March-May 2014 in the Business Unit GroupSustainable Aquaculture Fisheries, Environment XX Kampung Sentosa West,Village Sicanang Belawan, Medan Belawan subdistrict, Medan. The method usedis an experimental method by using RAL with 3 levels factors and threereplication of control treatment (without ablation and mutilation), ablation, andmutilation. Data were analyzed using ANOVA (P <0.05). Test materials wereused as many as 9 mud crabs were maintained in a single room system takirbamboo of 15 x 15 x 10 cm3 of each partition. Takir bamboo is used as much as 9plot. The results showed that the application of different methods of treatment(ablation and mutilation) was highly significant in accelerating moulting, theaverage absolute carapace length and width, the growth of absolute weight, dailygrowth rate, and survival. The results showed that treatment of mutilation hasbetter effect to accelerate the molting than other treatments with an average speedof moulting 23 day 7 hours 55 minutes 2 seconds. In the treatment of acquiredgrowth mutilation absolute weight (50 grams), growth in absolute length (0.57cm), daily growth rate (1.82%), survival (100%).Keyword : Mud crab, Moulting, and Growth

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the combination of natural food with the best artificial feed for growth and survival of maanvis fish (Pterophyllumscalare). The method of this research was using the experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) by using one factor of 5 treatment levels and 3 replications. The combination of feed in treatment is: 1: 100% Tubifexsp, 2: 75% Tubifex sp. + 25% pellets, 3: 50% Tubifex sp. + 50% pellets, 4: 25% Tubifex sp. + 75% pellets, and 5: 100% pellets. The fry size was around 2-4 cm and weight was 1,32 g then reared in the aquarium by 10 L of water and 10 fishes of stocking density each aquarium. The fish were reared for 40 days and feed is given as much as 10% of biomass weight, e times a day of feeding frequency.Parameters observed included absolute length and weight growth, specific growth rates, survival rates and water quality. The results showed that the best treatment was 100% Tubifexsp by giving absolute weight growth for 1,76 g, absolute longevity for 2,06 cm, specific growth rate for 1.91% and fish survival for 98%. The conclusion is different types of natural diets significantly affect the growth performance, and survival rate of maanvis fish (Pterophyllumscalare). Keywords: natural and artificial feed; Growth; Survival rate; Maanvis; Pterophyllumscalare

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine of this the best dose of carrot flourin increasing the brightness ofcolorCarassiusauratus. The method ofthis research was using the experimental method with Completely Randomized Design(CRD) by using one factor of 4 treatment levels and 3 replications. The treatments each dose of carrot flour were using0% (control), 5%, 7% and 9%. The fry size was around 3-4 cmthen reared in the aquarium by 15 L of water and 10 fishes ofstocking density each aquarium. The fish were reared for 40 days, three times a day of feeding frequency. The results showed that thebest treatment wasP4 dose of carrot flour 9%by giving absolute thebest color brightness with value 11,73, weight growth for 1.59 g, absolutelongevity for 1.57 cmand fish survival for 100%. The conclusion is different dose of carrot flour significantly affect the color brightnessandgrowth performance ofCarassiusauratus. Keywords: Daucus sp.; Color quality;Growth;Carassiusauratus.

Abstract

The study wasconducted from 3stof May to 10th June 2017.The research to do cultivation technology faculty of fisheries and marine University of Riau. The research was conducted to determine the dose of recombinant growth hormone (rGH) of Ephinepelus lanceolatus supplemented in the commercial diet that generates the best performance on body weight, body length, specific growth rate, survival rate, feed efficiency, and feed convertion rate of river Bawal Air Tawar (Colossoma macroponum)in resirculation system. The dose of rElGH administrated was 1, 2, 3 and 4 mg/kg of commercial feed and no rGHsupplementation as control. Each treatment was design in triplicates. Pomfret fish at average 3-4 cm were reared in aaquarium in a density 10 fish/aquarium for 30 days. The fish were fed with the rElGH suplplemented diet once a three days at satiation. The results showed that growth body weight of 2 mg/kg feed was (8,25g), Specific growth rate 9,21 %, feed efficiency (107,7%), Feed convertion rate (0,96%),(P<0.05) than other treatment.Length of 2 mg/kg feed was 4,02 cm higher than other treatment, Survival rate of 3 mg/kg feed was 100 %.(P>0.05) than other treatment. Thus, supplementation rGH 2 mg/kg feed of Pomfret fish once in three days can be applied in enhance the growth Pomfret fish with a best performance of growth.Keyword: Pomfret fish, recombinant growth hormone, resirculation system

Abstract

Virgin shells of species (Anadara granosa) is one of the fisheries resources of economically valuable species bivalve mollusks. Inidimaksudkan research for sustainable management of shellfish resources in terms of virgin ecological and economic aspects which took place in February-March 2013 in the waters of the Village District Commander King Concong Affairs Indragiri Hilir Riau Province. This study aims to assess the potential and development of shellfish resources and determine the strategic direction for the cultivation and development of these resources. Research include: (a) the survival rate (b) growth of mussel shells, (c) Analysis of resource development strategy. The results showed that the ecological, shellfish cultivation virgin menurupan promising business for the fishermen. Cultivation method using board height 10 cm, height 20 cm board size and board size 30 cm high. nets are used to measure diamaeter 1 cm seed in stocking with an average length of 2.25 cm and an average weight of 2.47 grams of 450 tails. The result is the growth length of 2.25 cm to 3.08 cm. Growth of 2.48 weight, gram to 5.00 gram. Keywords: Shells virgin, Ecology, seeds, growthPENDAHULUANKerang darah

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of the study was to determine the optimal doses of boster grotopin increasing the growth and survival of baung fish (Hemibagrusnemurus) in the recirculation system. This research was conducted from Augustuntil October 2019 for 40 days at the Technology LaboratoryAquaculture Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Riau University. Which methodused in this study is an experimental method, usingComplete Random Design (CRD) with 5 levels of treatment and 4 replications. The treatments applied were: P0) 0 g / kg of feed; P1) 15 g / kg of feed; P2) 20 g / kg of feed; P3) 25 g / kg of feed; P4) 30 g / kg of feed. The results showed thatthe addition of a different dose of booster grotopes shows a real effect(P<0.05) to growth in absolute weight (Wm), growth in absolute length(Lm), specific growth rate (LPS), feed efficiency (EP), feed conversion ratio(FCR) and have no significant effect (P>0.05) on the survival rate (SR)baung fish. The best treatment is giving grotop booster 30 g / kg of feed(P4) which produces an absolute weight growth of 3.86 g, long growthabsolute 2.41 cm, specific growth rate 1.62%, feed efficiency 83.55%, feed conversionratio 1.19% and survival 96.67%.Keywords:Doses,BosterGrotop, Recirculation System, Growth,Baung Fish.
