Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of transactional leadership and transformational leadership on the work motivation and performance of PT. Pupu. The data in this research were 140 employees who responded to the questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The data analysis tool uses Structural Equation Modelling which is operated with Amos. The research results show that transactional leadership styles and transformational leadership have a significant effect on work motivation and employee performance. Work motivation also significantly increases employee performance. And in testing the mediating effect of work motivation as a full mediating variable between transactional leadership and transformational leadership on the performance of PT employees. Iskandar Muda Fertilizer. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide an important contribution to stakeholders in developing employee management strategies as an important resource for every organization.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of leadership and work motivation on the performance of Kodim 0103/Aceh Utara soldiers carrying out its missions with organizational commitment as intervening variable in handling of Rohingya refugees in Lhokseumawe City in 2020. The sample uses 115 people with purposive sampling as the sampling technique. The sample criteria are Kodim 0103/North Aceh soldiers who were involved in handling Rohingya refugees in Lhokseumawe City from June to December 2020. Data analysis using WarpPLS 8.0 software with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis method accompanied by Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that the three research variables namely leadership, work motivation and organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on the performance of Kodim 0103/North Aceh soldiers. Moreover, the result of the study also show that the organizational commitment variable partially mediated the relationship between leadership and work motivation on soldiers’ performance in relation to handling Rohingya refugees in Lhokseumawe city in 2020.

Abstract

This research examines the mediating role of employee engagement on the influence of talent management and knowledge management on employee performance at the BPJS Health Partners Hospital, Langsa City. The sample in this study were employees at the Langsa City Regional Hospital, Cut Meutia Hospital and Cut Nyak Dhien Hospital, Langsa City, Aceh Province, totaling 172 people. Data collected through questionnaires were analyzed using a data analysis method using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which was operationalized with the Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) tool. The research results show that talent management and knowledge management have a significant effect on employee engagement and employee performance. And employee engagement has a direct effect on employee performance. Then, in testing the indirect effect of employee engagement, it was found to act as a partial mediating variable in the relationship between the influence of talent management and knowledge management on employee performance. It is hoped that the results of this research will be important information for organizational leaders and managers in making policies related to developing employee performance at Langsa City Regional Hospital, Cut Meutia Hospital and Cut Nyak Dhien Hospital, Langsa City, Aceh Province.
