Abstract

This study examines the relationship between servant leadership, innovativeness, competence, and leadership performance in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Mandailing Natal regency. The research aims to determine the significance of these variables and their impact on MSMEs' leadership effectiveness. The study employed a hypothesis testing approach, using a significance level of 0.05, to analyze the collected data. The results revealed that servant leadership, as indicated by a p-value of 0.007, innovativeness (p-value of 0.000), and competence (p-value of 0.000) significantly influenced the performance of MSMEs leaders. The findings suggest that leaders who prioritize serving others, demonstrate innovative thinking, and possess the necessary competencies are associated with improved performance in MSMEs leadership roles. The discussion highlights the importance of adopting a service-oriented leadership style, fostering innovation, and investing in leadership competencies to enhance leadership effectiveness in MSMEs. These results have practical implications for MSMEs in Mandailing Natal regency. By embracing servant leadership values, fostering a culture of innovation, and developing leadership competencies, MSMEs can improve their overall performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. It is important to note that these findings are specific to the context of MSMEs in Mandailing Natal regency. Further research in different settings and industries would contribute to a broader understanding of the relationship between these variables.

Abstract

Organizational performance is a measure of the progress of an organization that shows how well an organization achieves its goals and the results of work achievements that have been achieved by employees in accordance with their functions and work in a certain period. This research was conducted aiming to determine the effect of leadership effectiveness and Islamic work motivation on organizational performance with Islamic work ethics as a moderating variable. This study uses quantitative techniques with primary data collection method questionnaires. The population in this study are all employees of Amil Zakat Institutions in Indonesia. The sampling technique used purposive sampling obtained by 210 respondents. The results showed that the work effectiveness of Islamic leadership and motivation had a significant effect on organizational performance, which means that the first and second hypotheses were accepted, while the Islamic work ethic was not able to moderate the influence of Islamic leadership and work motivation on organizational performance so that the third and fourth hypotheses were rejected. Abstract

This research investigates the intricate relationships among participative leadership, flexible work environments, work motivation, and product innovation within the organizational context of PT As Putra Group. Utilizing a quantitative approach and employing random sampling, the study examines the impact of participative leadership on work motivation and subsequent product innovation. Additionally, it explores the influence of a flexible work environment on both work motivation and product innovation. The findings reveal a highly significant relationship between participative leadership and product innovation, emphasizing the pivotal role of leadership styles in shaping innovative capabilities. Furthermore, the study identifies a significant relationship between a flexible work environment and product innovation, indicating the importance of adaptable work structures in fostering innovative outcomes. These insights contribute to the understanding of organizational behavior and innovation, offering practical implications for leaders aiming to enhance both employee motivation and product innovation. The research underscores the interconnected nature of leadership, work environments, and motivation in shaping a culture of continuous improvement and creativity within contemporary workplaces like PT As Putra Group.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationships between organizational factors, cultural awareness, and job satisfaction within PT Kereta Api Indonesia. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis, data was collected from 67 employees to examine the direct and indirect effects of organizational culture and diversity and inclusion policies on job satisfaction, mediated by cultural awareness. The results reveal significant direct relationships between organizational culture and both cultural awareness and job satisfaction. Additionally, diversity and inclusion policies were found to directly impact job satisfaction, albeit with limited mediation through cultural awareness. These findings underscore the critical role of organizational culture in shaping employee experieoknces and perceptions, emphasizing the importance of fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace environment to enhance job satisfaction. The study provides valuable insights for organizations, including PT Kereta Api Indonesia, aiming to promote employee satisfaction and cultivate a culture of inclusivity and well-being in the workplace. Abstract

North Aceh has many potential natural resources, one of that is the potential horticultural crops. Apart of being fishermen, people in North Aceh also works as farmers, breeders and gardeners. One of the villages where most of the people work as a gardener is Binjee Village, Nisam Sub-District. One of plants that mostly grown is eggplant. Eggplant is one the superior food ingredients that is easy to grow and the prize is cheap. However, this plant is often being damaged and dies quickly, sometimes also difficult to bear fruit. High consumption of eggplant as a cheap and easy food ingredient makes the gardeners unable to meet the markets need due to the mentioned problems. Based on these problems, its necessary to have an effort to provide an alternative solution that can increase the eggplant productions. One of the solutions is increasing the yield by rejuvenating plants. Rejuvenating aims as a special treatment for old plants to be able to bear the fruits again as well as increasing the yield. The results obtained are media publication, collaboration between Malikussaleh University and Binjee Village, and publication in scientific journals. This community service also positively impacted on the Binjee Village in increasing the eggplant yields. Keywords: Eggplant, Rejuvenating, Gardeners.
