Abstract

This paper aims at developing the potential of cellulose-based energy generation using pyrolysis, gasification, and combustion methods with biodegradable waste media. The cellulose-based material used in this study was sawdust. The sawdust was heated using a biomass stove, which was then analyzed in terms of heat conduction and propagation as well as temperature distribution. To ensure the effectiveness of sawdust as the main material in the biomass stove, sawdust particles were pressed and compacted under various pressure conditions. This experiment was integrated with the Project-Based Learning method through the following steps: (1) determination of projects testing, (2) project design, (3) project implementation schedules, (4) project completion and progress monitoring, (5) reports and presentations of project results, and (6) project evaluation. The results provide new findings that the denser sawdust particles correlate with the greater temperature and propagation rate. This can be obtained from the measured temperature distribution. Areas close to the heat source tend to have the same heat propagation. The density of the sawdust particle is the main key point for producing better pyrolysis and gasification process, in which it correlates with long combustion energy. Integrasi This finding opens a new concept and can be used as a reference for other researchers who develop research related to renewable energy from waste, especially when using a biomass stove.  This study also gives ideas for the need for developing project-based learning using the burning of sawdust using biomass stove as a tool for the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The role of textbooks as the main source of learning in schools requires that the content and presentation be categorized as appropriate. The problem that arises in the use of learning textbooks is that the feasibility of the content and presentation of textbooks specifically on negotiating text material is not yet known. Reviewing the quality of content and presentation in learning textbooks is an urgency for learning at this time. The results of the quality of the content and presentation of textbooks are a consideration for educators in determining learning resources in the form of learning textbooks as well as being an evaluation for the government in developing student learning textbooks. This study aims to identify the feasibility of the content and presentation of negotiating text material in Indonesian language textbooks for class X SMA/SMK/MA. This study used qualitative research methods. The data collection technique in this study is the documentation technique. Qualitative analysis includes aspects of content feasibility and presentation using interactive model data analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman including four components of analysis namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research on the feasibility analysis of the contents and presentation of negotiating text material in class X Indonesian textbooks can be concluded that the textbooks obtained very good criteria for the content and presentation components. The score obtained for the content component shows 94% and the score obtained for the presentation component shows 97%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Uji Kompetensi Keahlian (UKK) Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif (TKRO) SMK di Kota Yogyakarta ditinjau dari aspek: (1) context, (2) input, (3) process, dan (4) product. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 7 ketua kompetensi keahlian, 18 asesor, dan 23 guru produktif SMK negeri dan swasta di Kota Yogyakarta. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah pedoman observasi, pedoman dokumentasi, kuesioner, dan pedoman wawancara. Instrumen penelitian divalidasi melalui expert judgement. Validitas diperoleh dengan product moment sedangkan reliabilitas menggunakan alpha cronbach. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: Aspek context mendapatkan skor 3,38 (K3), 3,43 (Asesor), dan 3,32 (Guru Produktif). Aspek input mendapatkan skor 3,55 (K3), 3,73 (Asesor), dan 3,37 (Guru Produktif). Aspek process mendapatkan skor 3,62 (K3), 3,73 (Asesor), 3,52 (Guru Produktif). Aspek product mendapatkan skor 3,36 (K3), 3,50 (Asesor), 3,34 (Guru Produktif). Rekomendasi terhadap UKK TKRO yaitu: (1) peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas sarana dan prasarana uji kompetensi yang mutakhir, (2) pengingkatan kualitas guru produktif dan asesor melalui pelatihan asesor, (3) dan peningkatan MoU dengan DUDI/IDUKA mengenai rekrutmen tenaga kerja.

Abstract

Dalam penyusunan buku teks pelajaran, kualitas kelayakan buku teks perlu diperhatikan, antara lain: kelayakan isi, kelayakan penyajian, kelayakan bahasa, dan kelayakan kegrafikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kualitas materi teks fabel pada buku Bahasa Indonesia kelas VII Kurikulum 2013, khususnya pada kelayakan isi dan kelayakan penyajian. Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Langkah yang dilakukan adalah menghimpun, mengidentifikasi, dan menganalisis data serta menyusun deskripsi data dari analisis data primer penelitian. Analisis kelayakan buku teks pada penelitian ini berdasarkan pada instrumen penilaian buku teks dari BSNP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas materi teks fabel pada buku teks Bahasa Indonesia kelas VII telah terkategori layak. Rata-rata presentase indikator pada kelayakan isi sebesar 65,5% dan rata-rata presentase indikator pada kelayakan penyajian sebesar 71,7%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kinerja mengajar guru, keterlibatan orang tua, aktualisasi diri dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi siswa kelas XII pada mata pelajaran teori Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Negeri Se-Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan ex post facto. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 535 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 237 siswa, yang ditentukan secara proportional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dua cara yaitu angket dan tes prestasi. Data penelitian yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kinerja mengajar guru, keterlibatan orang tua, aktualisasi diri dan motivasi berprestasi masing-masing sebesar 0,145; 0,128; 0,108; dan 0,098. This research is quantitative research which uses expost facto design. Population in this research as much as 535 students, with 237 students as respondents specified by proportional random sampling. In getting data, the writer used two techniques; questionnaires and achievement tests. The research data were analyzed using regression analysis. The results of this study show there is influence of the teachers’ teaching performance, parents’ involvement, self-actualization and achievement motivation each 0.145; 0.128; 0.108; and 0.098.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the content validity, construct validity, and reliability of the instrument for evaluating the teaching process in higher education. This research is development research applying the ADDIE model from Molenda. The indicators evaluated consist of context, inputs, processes, and products. The sample consisted of 1200 students from eight faculties, each represented by three study programs. Data analysis uses three stages: content validity test analysis using the V -Aiken method involving six panellists or experts; construct validity test using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Quantitative descriptive analysis and interpretive qualitative analysis used the Miles and Huberman method. The results showed that the developed evaluation instrument had good proof of the validity of the content, with an average V-Aiken score of 0.752, which was in the high category. Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta's evaluation instrument, which was developed through the instrument, already meets the validity of an exemplary construct of a good loading factor value ( 0.3). It has a composite reliability score above 0.7 and Cronbach's alpha above 0.6. The analysis results show that all empirical test criteria indicate the data is fit against the developed model.

Abstract

The development of the education system in the 21st century demanded change in all aspects. Determination of Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) has the impact of changes in the implementation of the learning evaluation process. The implementation of AKM in the education system applies to all subjects, including Bahasa Indonesia. One of the components related to the learning of Bahasa Indonesia precisely the learning of Expression Of Writing Literature is AKM Literacy. The limitation of the resources and test instruments in the implementation of learning evaluation becomes a problem that needs to be addressed wisely and immediately because it will affect the achievement of learning objectives. The purpose of this study is 1) describe the analysis of the error of the instrument of the test of deeds in the Indonesian Language Student Book Grade XI SMA which is charged with AKM reading literacy, and 2) describe the reconstruction of the error of the test instrument in the Book of Indonesian Language Students grade XI high school loaded with AKM reading literacy. The method used is descriptive qualitative with the model of literature and literature studies as well as strengthening through documentation and field observation. The results of this study showed that based on the results of the analysis of the test instrument there are several components that are not yet appropriate which include material aspects, construction aspects, and language aspects. As well as attaching the reconstruction results by making improvements to the test of the act of developing the text of the saga on the aspects of material, construction, language and improving reading literacy on the question.

Abstract

Assessment activities are an urgent matter that educational units must carry out. Learning assessment based on Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is also an important part of creating the effectiveness of the learning process. HOTS-based assessment is important for the learning process. This is because the results of the critical thinking process are easier to transfer, can understand concepts in depth, and can ultimately be applied to everyday life. The Independent Curriculum frees teachers to make their assessments according to their needs. There is a need for assessment guidelines as a reference for teachers according to the Merdeka curriculum. This research aims to determine how Indonesian language teachers as user practitioners perceive the development of end-of-semester assessment guidelines for class VII Indonesian language subjects containing HOTS and Pancasila student profiles. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques originating from a teacher needs questionnaire regarding developing end-of-semester assessment guidelines for class VII Indonesian language subjects containing HOTS and Pancasila student profiles. The results of this research are a description of teachers' perceptions regarding the development of end-of-semester assessment guidelines for class VII Indonesian language subjects containing HOTS and Pancasila student profiles. As a result, 90% of respondents stated that the purpose of this assessment was to measure student learning achievement. The research findings also show that 80% of respondents stated that the development of this assessment was very interesting and useful for learning innovation and could improve students' 21st-century competencies. Apart from that, this research can also be a reference for teachers in carrying out assessment activities according to the Merdeka Belajar curriculum in Middle School Class VII Semester 1 for Indonesian Language Subjects.

Abstract

The negotiation writing books that are circulating do not fully support writing and critical reasoning skills. This research aims to outline the needs of book development, develop enrichment book profiles, describe expert assessments, and test the effectiveness of books in a limited way. The content of the Pancasila student profile, the element of critical reasoning, is integrated into the text contained in the enrichment book. This content is used to improve students' competence in writing negotiation texts and critical reasoning. This research is a Research and Development (RnD) research with 6 steps, namely (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, and (6) product testing. The results of the study show that students and educators need enrichment books to write negotiation texts containing profiles of Pancasila students, and elements of critical reasoning. The validation test showed a very good category with an average gain of 98.2. The results of the effectiveness test showed that the enrichment book was proven to be effective in learning to write negotiation texts, as evidenced by the increase in pretest and posttest scores with the results of the t-test sig (2-tailed) 0.01<0.05.

Abstract

Writing expository texts is one of the skills that class VIII junior hight school students must have. Expository text aims to explain something to broaden the mind, insight or knowledge of the reader. Appropriate learning is using the think talk write learning model assisted by animated video media based on students' level of creative thinking. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of the think talk write learning model in teaching expository text material, based on students' level of creative thinking. This research method uses quasi-experiment, with purposive sampling technique for sampling. Instrument data analysis involves validity and reliability tests, while normality and homogeneity tests are used for sample testing. Final data analysis was carried out using a paired sample t-test with the SPSS 24 program. The research results showed that the think talk write learning model assisted by animated video media was effectively applied in learning to write expository texts for class VIII students, especially for students with a creative thinking level. tall one. This model is more effective for students with a high level of creative thinking compared to students who have a medium or low level of thinking. This research is useful for developing research in the field of education, increasing knowledge about writing expository texts, and providing insight into effective learning models.
