Abstract

Educational motivation is the driving force of a person in obtaining education. This research is a literature review. The purpose of this research is to examine educational motivation from the hadith perspective. Data sources were obtained from various books and articles both online and offline. Data analysis is done in depth. The results of this research include: motivation in Islam is known as al niiyat (intention). Indeed, every deed depends on its intention, and for each person what he intends. Educational motivation is defined as the intention or desire of adults / educators consciously in educating the physical and spiritual development of the educated towards the formation or to have balanced knowledge and personality. Whoever seeks knowledge by setting good intentions, Allah will facilitate his path to heaven. Expecting knowledge that is beneficial both for himself and the people will bring him to the pleasure of the world and the hereafter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Ampek Angkek yang disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Diskursus Multy Reprecentary (DMR) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VII. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan The Static Group Comparison Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas siswa kelas VII. 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII. 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes uraian kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang telah divalidasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dengan bantuan perangkat lunak Minitab pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model DMR dan pembelajaran konvensional (t-hitung = 5,14 > t-tabel = 1,67 : p < 0,05). Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe DMR berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Model ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang dapat mendorong siswa untuk mengkomunikasikan ide-ide matematis secara lebih jelas dan terstruktur.

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi merupakan salah satu standar kompetensi lulusan bagi siswa sekolah dasar sampai menengah sebagaimana tertuang dalam Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Tahun 2006 tentang Standar Kompetensi Lulusan. Olehkarenanya, komunikasi harus menjadi salah satu aspek yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian. Komunikasi merupakan suatu aktivitas yang tidak mungkin lepas dari kehidupan manusia. Dengan komunikasi seseorang dapat mengekspresikan ide dan pemikirannya, saling bersosialisasi, serta menerima dan melakukan pembelajaran. Komunikasi matematis merupakan komunikasi berupa pengungkapan pikiran, gagasan dalam bentuk merefleksikan, membuat model situasi, menelaah, menginterpretasikan ide, simbol, istilah serta informasi matematika.Sebagai salah satu pelajaran yang diberikan di dunia pendidikan formal, matematika haruslah diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Bukan saja tepat berdasarkan materi ajar, tetapi juga harus tepat dalam melihat perkembangan otak anak. Perkembangan stuktur otak anak laki-laki berbeda dengan anak perempuan, perbedaan ini merupakan perbedaan gender. Salah satu perbedaan gender dalam pembelajaran adalah komunikasi matematis.Berdasarkan perbedaan struktur otak tersebut maka penerapan model pembelajaran yang tepat akan memaksimalkan hasil belajar yang diperoleh masing-masing termasuk kemampuan komunikasi matematis. The ability of communication includes to the standards competency of graduates for every level education as stated in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education Year 2006. Therefore, communication pays more attention. This is an activity that can not be separated from human life. By communicating, we are able to express the ideas and thoughts, socialize, and the others. Moreover, mathematical communication means a form of thoughts expression, reflection of ideas, modeling situations, reviewing, interpreting ideas, symbols, term and mathematical information. Mathematics, as one of the subject given in formal education, must be taught with the right model in learning. It is not only appropriate based on teaching materials, but also in seeing the structure development of the student's brain. There are a difference about the development of brain structures between male and female student which is familiar with gender. Consequently, one aspect of gender differences in learning can be seen from mathematical communication. Based on this reason, the usage of precise learning model will maximize the learning outcomes as well as the ability of mathematical communication.

Abstract

Bagi siswa, untuk memahmi suatu konsep dalam pembelajaran matematika bukanlah suatu hal yang mudah karena pemahaman terhadap suatu konsep matematika dilakukan secara individual dan tidak tebang pilih antara laki-laki dan perempuan (gender). Oleh karena tu, pembelajaran di kelas-kelas matematika harus dikelola dengan baik oleh guru. Pengelolan pembelajaran yang baik di kelas-kelas matematika, akan memantapkan siswa laki-laki ataupun siswa perempuan dalam memahami konsep-konsep matematika. Dengan demikian penerapkan pembelajaran yang tepat oleh guru, dapat memaksimalkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dan akhirnya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa ditinjau berdasarkan gender setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: pemahaman konsep matematika empat orang siswa laki-laki berkriteria sangat baik, empat orang siswa berkriteria baik dan dua orang siswa berkriteria pemahaman konsep matematika cukup baik. Sedangkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa perempuan adalah dua siswa mendapatkan kriteria sangat baik, lima orang siswaberkriteria baik dan lima orang berkriteria cukup baik. Dengan menggunakan uji – t  pada selang kepercayaan 95% diperoleh thitung = 1.770  dan ttabel = 1.72. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan konsep matematika siswa laki-laki lebih baik daripada siswa perempuan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas VIII SMP.

Abstract

Research This research is motivated by the problems found in class IX Integrated MTsS Guguak Randah is that the LKPD used by educators is not yet culturally based, based on the national education system, educators should facilitate learning for students with local culture. Based on the information information obtained, the learning outcomes of students are relatively low, because there are still. Based on the information obtained, the learning outcomes of students are low, because there are still many students below the KKM set at school, namely 75. develop learning materials to help students in construct mathematical knowledge easily and interestingly. One of the teaching materials developed is the Ethnomathematics-Based Learner Worksheet (LKPD). Ethnomathematics on Minangkabau Traditional Musical Instruments. This research aims to produce Ethnomathematics-based LKPD on Minangkabau Traditional Musical Instruments in class IX MTsS Integrated Guguak Randah which meet the criteria of valid, practical and effective. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The validity test is seen from a validation sheet consisting of six validators, namely material experts, educational technology experts, linguists and experts. validators, namely material experts, educational technology experts, linguists and cultural experts. then improved according to the validator's suggestions. Practicality test seen from the learner response questionnaire and the effectiveness test seen from the learning outcomes of students in the form of tests. learning outcomes in the form of tests. Data analysis techniques used to express the results of this study are 1) Validity Data Analysis, 2) Practicality Analysis, and 3) Effectiveness Analysis. Based on the development research that has been done based on the development research that has been carried out, the LKPD is obtained with a validity level of 83.48% which is very valid, for a practicality level of 87.38% which is very practical, and for an effectiveness level. is on very practical criteria, and for the effectiveness level 75% is on effective criteria. in the effective criteria. It can be concluded that the Ethnomathematics-Based LKPD on Minangkabau Traditional Musical Instruments in Class IX Integrated MTsS Guguak Randah which was developed met the valid, practical and effective criteria. developed meets the criteria of valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi integrasi antara konsep Geometri dan perhitungan arah Kiblat dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis nilai-nilai Islam di madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka kualitatif-analitis untuk memetakan konsep-konsep matematis yang mendasari Ilmu Falak, khususnya Geometri Bola dan Trigonometri Bola. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan Model Integrasi Matematis-Religius (IMR) yang terdiri dari tiga tahap: 1) Kontekstualisasi Nilai (memahami dalil Kiblat), 2) Eksplorasi Konsep Matematis (mempelajari Segitiga Bola dan koordinat), dan 3) Implementasi Proyek Aplikatif ("Hitung dan Ukur Kiblat Madrasah"). Model ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi sifat abstrak materi Geometri dan meningkatkan relevansi matematika dalam praktik ibadah. Implementasi model IMR membutuhkan modifikasi kurikulum dan pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis proyek. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kesadaran spiritual siswa dalam konteks keislaman.

Abstract

This paper is intended to analyze the presence of Islamic education in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. The researchers used the Library Research in this paper. Data collection was carried out by reviewing and examining printed and electronic books, journals, and documents as data sources and other relevant information. Islamic education as an Islamic-based educational institution needs to take a range of steps and approaches to preserve its presence in the 4.0 period of the Industrial Revolution, so as not to fall into various competitions. Based on the analysis, there are several strategies that must be followed by Islamic education to sustain its existence, namely: designing innovative Islamic education, reforming and renewal Islamic education, enhancing capabilities in technology and literacy, and the concept of integration and interconnection of Islamic education

Abstract

This study was motivated by problems found in Grade VIII of SMP N 1 Sasak Ranah Pasisia, West Pasaman Regency, namely the low self-confidence of students in learning. This could be seen during the teaching and learning process, where only a few students took the initiative to present their work in front of the class. Students’ low mathematics learning outcomes were also evident from their daily test scores. The research problems in this study were: (1) how students’ self-confidence develops during the learning process using the cooperative learning model of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type, and (2) whether students’ mathematics learning outcomes taught using the STAD cooperative learning model are better than those taught using conventional learning. This research employed a pre-experimental approach with the Static Group Comparison Design. The sample was determined randomly after conducting tests of normality, homogeneity, and equality of means on the population data. The sample consisted of students from class VIII.2 as the experimental group and class VIII.1 as the control group. Students’ self-confidence data were collected through a questionnaire, while learning outcomes were obtained from a test administered to students. Based on the results of the analysis, the percentage of students’ self-confidence was 76.18%, categorized as high. The mathematics learning outcome test was analyzed using the t-test at a significance level of α = 0.05, yielding tcount > ttable (2.96 > 1.67) and P-value = 0.008 < α = 0.05. Therefore, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It can be concluded that students’ mathematics learning outcomes using the STAD cooperative learning model are better than those using conventional learning in Grade VIII of SMP N 1 Sasak Ranah Pasisia, West Pasaman Regency.

Abstract

The low mathematical problem-solving abilities of eighth-grade students at SMPN 6 Pariaman served as the background for this study. One method that can be used to improve students' problem-solving skills is the Buzz Group learning method. The research problem in this study is whether there is a significant effect of the Buzz Group method on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of eighth-grade students at SMPN 6 Pariaman in the 2022/2023 academic year. The purpose of this study is to determine the significant effect of the Buzz Group method on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of eighth-grade students at SMPN 6 Pariaman in the 2022/2023 academic year. The hypothesis of this study is "there is a significant effect of the Buzz Group method on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of eighth-grade students at SMPN 6 Pariaman in the 2022/2023 academic year." This study is a pre-experimental research with the research design of The Static Group Comparison Design: Randomized Control-Group Only Design. The population of this study includes all eighth-grade students at SMPN 6 Pariaman in the 2022/2023 academic year. To obtain the sample, random sampling was used, followed by normality test, homogeneity test, and average equivalence test. The class chosen as the experimental class was VIII.4, while the control class was VIII.2. The instrument used was a problem-solving ability test, which was given to both sample classes. The data analysis technique used in this study was the t-test. Based on the test results, the average score of the problem-solving ability test for the experimental class students was 73.95, while the average score for the control class was 53.89. After conducting the hypothesis test using the t-test with α = 0.05 and a 95% confidence interval, the obtained t_calculated (3.38) > t_table (1.67), so the decision is to reject H0 and accept H1, which means there is a significant effect of the Buzz Group method on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of eighth-grade students at SMPN 6 Pariaman in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya hasil belajar matematika peserta didik Fase F di SMAN 3 Payakumbuh. Perbedaan tingkat kemampuan peserta didik dalam satu kelas dan pembelajaran yang masih cenderung bersifat klasikal menyebabkan kebutuhan belajar peserta didik belum sepenuhnya terakomodasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik Fase F di SMAN 3 Payakumbuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen dan rancangan The Static Group Comparison Design. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas 11 kelas Fase F. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling, yaitu kelas F1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 32 peserta didik dan kelas F3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 34 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes uraian hasil belajar matematika pada materi matriks. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t setelah memenuhi uji prasyarat analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 76,95, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 61,64. Ketuntasan belajar kelas eksperimen mencapai 53,12%, sementara kelas kontrol sebesar 17,64%. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar antara kedua kelas. Dengan demikian, pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level memberikan hasil belajar matematika yang lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional pada peserta didik Fase F SMAN 3 Payakumbuh.
