Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of innovation capacity on the competitive advantage of MSMEs as well as to determine differences in innovation capabilities based on a gender perspective. Research respondents were 60 micro business operators in Bangka Regency. Methods of data collection through questionnaires and interviews. Data were processed using linear regression analysis and the Mann-Whitney Test. The results showed that the capability of innovation had a significant effect on the competitive advantage of microbusinesses in Bangka Regency. In terms of gender, there was no difference in innovation capabilities between male and female microenterprise entrepreneurs in Bangka Regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengembangkan sebuah model untuk menganalisis kinerja perguruan tinggi swasta (PTS) yang dilihat dari aspek perolehan jumlah mahasiswa pada sekolah tinggi dan akademi di Semarang. Dengan masalah penelitian yaitu : bagaimana meningkatkan kinerja perguruan tinggi swasta melalui keunggulan bersaing? Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua program studi maupun pejabat struktural pada sekolah tinggi dan akademi di Semarang sejumlah 113 responden. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) pada program AMOS 17.0. Hasil pengujian dan analisis model menunjukkan bahwa tiga dari empat hipotesis penelitian dapat diterima, orientasi pasar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing, dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0.281, invoasi program (H2) berpengaruh postif tapi tidak signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dengan nilai koefisien regresi 0,208 sehingga hipotesis ini ditolak, adaptabilitas lingkungan (H3) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dengan nilai koefisien regresi 0.460, keunggulan bersaing (H4) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perguruan tinggi swasta, dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0.546. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa diantara ketiga faktor yang mempengaruhi keunggulan bersaing (orientasi pasar, inovasi produk dan adaptabilitas lingkungan), didapatkan bahwa adaptabilitas lingkungan merupakan faktor yang paling dominan pengaruhnya terhadap keunggulan bersaing. Implikasi manajerial yang dapat disarankan oleh penelitian ini adalah kebijakan yang menitikberatkan pada penerapan adaptabilitas lingkungan dan orientasi pasar pada perguruan tinggi swasta

Abstract

Upaya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan harus dilaksanakan secara terpadu, terprogram, terarah dan konsisten. Kemudian pelayanan kepada masyarakat diberikan dengan tepat, cepat, murah, terbuka, sederhana dan mudah dilaksanakan. Semua ini dilakukan untuk memberikan kepuasan kepada masyarakat.  Maka penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengukur Indeks Kepuasan Masyarakat pada Dinas Penanaman Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja (DPMPTSP dan NAKER) Kota Pangkalpinang. Indeks kepuasan ini akan digunakan sebagai dasar dalam membuat dan menetapkan kebijakan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, pengukuran dengan indeks kepuasan masyarakat dan spider web. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan hasil survei IKM dengan sembilan unsur, diperoleh nilai unsur pelayanan yang memiliki nilai tertinggi adalah unsur kepastian biaya (U8), kemudian unsur biaya/tarif (U4), dan unsur penanganan pengaduan layanan (U9). Sedangkan unsur terendah adalah unsur kecepatan waktu (U3). Hasil analisa kepuasan masyarakat di Dinas Penanaman Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja Kota Pangkalpinang dikonversi dalam Indeks Kepuasan Masyarakat unit pelayanan termasuk ke dalam kategori B (baik).

Abstract

In the last two decades, tin mining in Bangka Belitung Islands has operated in controversy, between groups who oppose the idea of unconventional mining and those expecting the mining to be carefully performed. This is as well as prioritizing sustainability principles. Amidst the controversy, the unconventional mining methods conducted by local people have been preserved. This writing has observed the miners’ perspective of their profession. This study used quantitative methods to explore the miners’ knowledge, context, behavior, and expectations of the politics of tin mining policies and its practices. The data analysis used was frequency table and Kendall’s Tau-b correlation by applying SPSS version 20 Program. This study found that miners were generally aware that the tin wealth in this region provided great contributions to the economy sector. They also realized that their mining broke the regulation and understood that the benefits they gained were less than that gained by businessmen. The miners’ behaviour also showed awareness that mining damages the environment. A behaviour of hesitation was shown in whether they were ready or not to change their profession, the easiness of finding another job, and whether the mining situation that they worked in should be forbidden or firmly dealt with. Nevertheless, the miners hope that recent conditions can be maintained rather than restricted. This study concluded that there were inconsistent political policies at the implementation level, strengthened by the weakness of law culture in society.

Abstract

The quality of public service performance has a broad impact in various parts live, especially to achieve public welfare. Therefore the efforts to improve public services must be conducted continuously by  Dinas Penanaman Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja (DPMPTSP NAKER) of Pangkalpinang. The Efforts to improve the quality of services must be conducted jointly, integrated, programmed, directed, and consistent by paying attention to the needs and expectations of the public, so that the services provided to the community can be given appropriately, quickly, cheaply, openly, simply and easily implemented. The purpose of the Community Satisfaction Index Survey preparation is to find out the performance of DinasPenanaman  Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja of Pangkalpinang which will be used as a basis for making and establishing policies in order to improve the quality of public services.The Survey of Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) is made refers to the provisions of  Peraturan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Republik Indonesia Number 14 Year2017 concerning Guidelines for Preparing the Community Satisfaction Survey of Public Service  Providers Units of at least 9 SKM Elements. The respondents of the survey were the people who were applying for licensing at DPMPTSP NAKER of Pangkalpinang amounted to 224 people. The Community Satisfaction Index Survey is collaborating with University of Bangka Belitung through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), which is formulated through a cooperation agreement with the service provider of Dinas Penanaman Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja of Pangkalpinang.Based on the results of the IKM survey with 9 elements, obtained the value of the service element which has the lowest value is the element of Requirement (U1) with a value of 3.193 and the element that has the highest value is the Cost / Tariff (U4) of 3.767. The community satisfaction survey in the DinasPenanaman Modal Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja of Pangkalpinang with a weighted NRR of 3.374 was converted into the public satisfaction index at a service unit of 84.36, which was categorized into B or good.Keywords: Community Satisfaction Index, Public Satisfaction, Public Service

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse and determine the effect of income, savings, education level, number of household members, and household criteria (smoker and non smoker) on household consumption expenditure in Sungailiat District. This study relied on primary data from 100 household in Sungailiat District. Data analysis was performed with multiple linier regression. The results demonstrated and partially income, number of household member, and household criteria (smoker and non-smoker) had a positive and significant effect. Savings showed a negative and significant effect. Meanwhile, education level provided a positive and insignificant effect. Simultaneously income, savings, eduation level, number of household member, and household criteria (smoker and non-smoker) affected household consumption expenditure in Sungailiat District. On average, Sungailiat District residents use nearly all of their earnings on consumption. Most consumption expenditures are made to meet food needs. Household with smoker spend more money on consumption than non-smokers.

Abstract

Tahun 2022 menjadi kebangkitan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia dengan menyumbang 61 % terhadap PDB nasional dan menyerap 97 % dari total tenaga kerja. Berbasis wilayah kota, UMKM menjadi salah satu komponen yang menyumbang 9,27 % pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kota Pangkal Pinang. Namun, penerapan Kekayaan Intelektual (KI) dalam perilaku usaha UMKM belum tertangani secara maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi manajemen sumber daya mansia pada pelaku UMKM dalam membangun tim kerja yang sadar terhadap KI pada kegiatan usaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara kepada pelaku usaha UMKM di Kota Pangkalpinang yang belum atau pun sudah terdaftar KI-nya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaku UMKM memiliki kesadaran pentingnya KI dalam berwirausaha. KI dinilai oleh Pelaku UMKM menunjang keberlanjutan usaha melalui pematangan tiga tim wirausaha yang mereka miliki. Pelaku UMKM di Kota Pangkalpinang minimal memiliki tim produksi, tim operasional, dan tim pemasaran. Tiga tim tersebut yang sedang dikembangkan adalah tim pemasaran, karena melibatkan kemampuan media digital. Artinya, penerapan KI menjadi prioritas untuk menghindari klaim merek atau jenis usaha yang mereka miliki. Selain itu, pelaku UMKM memanfaatkan SDM berbasis kekeluargaan. Karakter tersebut sesuai dengan penerapan ekonomi Pancasila.

Abstract

Karya Makmur Village  is one of the villages in the Pemali District Bangka Regency Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The problem of Karya Makmur Village that the knowledge of MSMEs actors is still quite low regarding MSME development strategies both in terms of Human Resources (HR), marketing and  finance.  In addition, MSMEs actors also do not have product licensing legality such as Halal Certification and Business Identification Number (NIB). The method of  the program are outreach, education, training and mentoring. The stages of the activity consist of preparation, implementation,  mentoring  and  evaluation.  The  implementation  of the program has provided understanding, motivation, competency and skills in  MSMEs development both in  the fields of Human Resources (HR), Marketing, Finance and product licensing (Halal Certification and  NIB).  This activity will be periodically monitored and evaluated in order to maintain the sustainability of the program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of expectation and level of performance to determine the level of conformity and indicators that are the main priority for improvement and patient satisfaction to improve service quality and satisfy patients at the Lubuk Besar Public Health Center. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Sampling was determined by the purposive sampling technique with a total of 100 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The analysis used is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The results showed that the analysis of the IPA method at the level of conformity of the 5 dimensions of service quality at the Lubuk Besar Public Health Center had a value of 73.74% in the appropriate category only on the responsiveness dimension which was still in the quite especially on the speed and accuracy attributes of doctors treating patients, speed and friendliness of administrative staff, ability to respond and resolve patient complaints. The results of the calculation of the CSI method at the Lubuk Besar Health Center by 70% means that the patient is quite satisfied, but the puskesmas still need to make improvements to the attributes that have low values to improve service quality and satisfy patients. Abstract

In the post-Covid-19 situation, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector needs serious attention from the government because it is the largest contributor to GDP and can be a factor in labor recruitment. To revive the performance of MSMEs in Pangkalpinang City which experienced a slump as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, this study aims to produce a model for increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs globally during the Covid-19 pandemic as an effort to revive MSMEs through financial technology, digital marketing and digital leadership in MSMEs. in the city of Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands, Indonesia. This research uses mixed research methods which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods with the number of samples in this study is 100 respondents who are SMEs in Pangkalpinang City. The sampling technique in this research is accidental sampling. The analysis used is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the study show that the implementation of financial technology, digital marketing and digital leadership on MSMEs in Pangkalpinang City is expected to be accelerated, this can be seen from the results of research which show that the majority of MSMEs have implemented financial technology such as mobile payments and digital banking.
