Abstract

Sampah di Indonesia terus meningkat seiring pertumbuhan penduduk, sementara kesadaran masyarakat dalam membuang dan memilah masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengelolaan sampah di Kampung Telaga Biru serta peran tong sampah pilah. Metode kualitatif digunakan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa meski warga telah diarahkan membuang pada tempat yang tersedia, perilaku membuang sembarangan masih terjadi. Kehadiran tong sampah pilah membuat pengelolaan lebih tertib, namun kebiasaan memilah belum terbentuk. Tong pilah berfungsi sebagai sarana awal edukasi masyarakat. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan sampah tidak cukup bergantung pada fasilitas, tetapi memerlukan peningkatan kesadaran dan kepedulian warga.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Deteksi dini kanker payudara akan memberikan tingkat kesembuhan lebih tinggi bagi penderita jika penderita datang lebih dini ketika terdapat gejala adanya kanker payudara. Namun, masyarakat Indonesia cenderung datang ke pusat kesehatan dalam kondisi kanker stadium lanjut sehingga sulit diobati. Ketersediaan layanan informasi tentang kanker payudara, dan pemeriksaan mandiri berbasis telepon pintar menjadi kebutuhan saat ini.  Oleh karena itu diperlukan sosialisasi yang benar tentang kanker. Salah satu alat sosialisasi yang dianggap efektif adalah media digital. Di Indonesia, aplikasi berbasis telepon pintar sudah dibuat untuk kanker serviks, tetapi untuk kanker payudara hanya tersedia dalam bentuk hologram berisi simulasi gerakan Periksa Payudara Sendiri (SADARI). Aplikasi hologram ini belum menyertakan informasi tentang kanker payudara secara komprehensif. Tujuan: Menyediakan layanan informasi tentang kanker payudara, dan penjelasan serta simulasi bagaimana memeriksa secara mandiri yang berbasis menggunakan aplikasi berbasis telepon pintar. Metode: Metode penelitian terdiri atas desain aplikasi, pengumpulan asset sebagai sumber database, validasi aplikasi, dan uji coba aplikasi kepada 100 responden menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Evaluasi kelayakan aplikasi dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Hasil: Aplikasi berhasil dibuat dan dapat diunduh melalui google play store. Aplikasi ini membantu meningkatkan pengetahuan responden tentang kanker dari rata-rata 43,38% menjadi 77,72%. Sebesar 34.6% responden setuju dan  61.8% sangat setuju bahwa aplikasi ‘Be Care’ berguna dan bermanfaat. Kesimpulan: Aplikasi “Be Care” dinilai layak untuk digunakan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, dan keterampilan terkait deteksi dini kanker payudara. Aplikasi berbahasa Indonesia dengan status ‘free access’ ini diharapkan menjadi salah satu media efektif yang berkontribusi dalam menurunkan jumlah kasus baru dan kematian akibat kanker. AbstractBackground: An early breast cancer detection will provide a higher cure rate for sufferers if the patient arrives early when there are symptoms of breast cancer. However, Indonesians tend to come to the health centres with an advance condition, which it makes difficult to be treated. The availability of information about breast cancer and smartphone-based self-examination is a necessity at this time. Therefore, we need the correct socialization. One of the socialization tools that are considered effective is digital media. In Indonesia, smartphone-based application has been made for servical cancer, but it is only available in hologram containing of Breast Self-Examination (BSE) for breast cancer. This does not include comprehensive information about breast cancer. Objective: To provide information service about breast cancer, and an explanation also simulation of how to do BSE based on a smartphone-based app. Methods: The research consists of application design, collection of assets as a database source, application validation, and testing to 100 respondents using purposive technique sampling. The evaluation for feasibility of the app was carried out using pre-test and post-test questionnaire.  Results: The app was successfully created and can be downloaded via Google Playstore. This app helps increase knowledge of the respondents about cancer from an average 43.38% to 77.22%. As much as 34.6% of respondents agree and 61.8% strongly agree that the app “Be Care” is useful. Conclusion: "Be Care" app is considered feasible to be used in increasing knowledge, awareness, and skills related to early detection of breast cancer. This Indonesian language app with “free access” is expected to be one of the effective media contributing to reducing the number of new cases and death due to cancer.

Abstract

UKM Mandiri Jaya is a community group effort that has not been economically productive, but has a strong desire to become an entrepreneur. Members of these SMEs are made up of economically weak communities. They have a very low income. Daily necessities of life are obtained through farming and catfish farming. The effort is carried out on arable land and the home page. Agricultural products are sold, but are not able to meet the increasing needs. Catfish farming is also carried out on a small scale because it is constrained by the high price of feed on the market. With the aim to develop the business of fish farming, SMEs have been given fish seeds, materials and pellet making equipment and fish feed making machines. A fish feed machine is needed so that farmers can increase their income by utilizing existing ingredients as a fish feed composition. Partners have been trained so as to be able to make their own fish feed from quality ingredients and partners have the ability to use the machines provided. Through the feed produced by the use of a given machine, the better fish growth. More fish yields resulting in an increase in income for these partners.

Abstract

A significant contributor to the expansion of the national economy is the building industry. As a construction business, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk must have good financial management. The EVA technique of financial performance analysis is required to determine if the business can generate economic added value and draw in investors despite the current economic difficulties. By using the EVA technique, this research seeks to ascertain PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk's financial performance over the 2019–2023 timeframe. Utilizing a qualitative approach and secondary data gathered from the company's yearly financial records, this research examines how PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk's financial success is measured using the EVA. NOPAT, IC, WACC, CC, and EVA are the analytical techniques used in this research. The 2019–2023 period saw changes, according to the findings of the Economic Value Added method study. In 2019, the firm created an EVA value > 0, in 2020–2022, it produced an EVA value < 0, and in 2023, it produced an EVA value

Abstract

Abstract This study examines the breach of contract in a term deposit agreement. The main focus of this study is to understand the legal considerations taken by the judge in granting the exception filed by the Defendant, which resulted in the rejection of the Plaintiff's lawsuit due to formal defects, as well as the implications of this decision on the counterclaim and the main case. The results of the study indicate that the combination of the Unlawful Act (PMH) and breach of contract lawsuits in one lawsuit can cause ambiguity (obscuur libel), which in turn results in the lawsuit being declared inadmissible (niet ontvankelijk verklaard). In addition, this decision also provides an opportunity for the Plaintiff to file a new lawsuit after correcting the existing formal deficiencies. This study emphasizes the importance of separating the two types of lawsuits in order to maintain legal clarity and certainty in the judicial process. In addition, it is recommended that legal practitioners be more careful in drafting lawsuits so as not to lose the right to obtain justice. Keywords: Unlawful Acts; Breach of Contract; Cooperatives.

Abstract

Thalassemia is one of the most common hemoglobinopathic disorders found worldwide. About 80% of thalassemia cases occur in low- or middle-income countries in the tropical belt, stretching from sub-Saharan Africa through the Mediterranean region and the Middle East to South and Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. Patients with thalassemia, especially in children, require routine and continuous treatment, which certainly requires support from nurses and families, especially parents as caregivers. With optimal support, it is expected to positively impact emotional well-being and the quality of life of patients and families. This study aimed to determine the collaboration of nurse support and family support that can be provided in providing care for children with β-thalassemia major. This research uses a case study approach in the field. Case studies are organized using the nursing process, including assessment, data analysis, intervention, implementation, evaluation, and nursing documentation. The subject of this case study is a patient with β-thalassemia major in one of the hospitals in Bandung. The case study was conducted for 11 days. A 9-year-old patient was admitted to the hospital with complaints of an enlarged abdomen and weight loss of 2 kg in the last two weeks. The patient has been diagnosed with β-thalassemia major since the age of 7, receives regular blood transfusions every two weeks, and takes oral iron chelation regularly. The family plays a vital role in managing β-thalassemia by adhering to all planned and recommended therapy regimens to overcome and prevent complications. Providing comprehensive bio-psychospiritual nursing interventions in collaboration with family support can improve a patient's quality of life with thalassemia because the welfare status of the family becomes the foundation of the child's quality of life. Nursing implications given to patients and families can reduce symptoms and support families with children suffering from thalassemia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis konflik antar teori hukum yang tercermin dalam putusan perkara ASDP Ira Puspadewi, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan kebijakan akuisisi saham PT Jembatan Nusantara oleh PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). Fokus utama penelitian diarahkan pada ketegangan konseptual antara pendekatan kepastian hukum formal yang menekankan pemenuhan unsur delik secara normatif dengan upaya pencapaian keadilan substantif dalam menilai pertanggungjawaban pidana direksi korporasi atas kebijakan bisnis yang berdampak pada kerugian negara. Permasalahan ini menjadi relevan mengingat karakteristik kebijakan korporasi publik yang sarat dengan risiko bisnis dan kompleksitas pengambilan keputusan strategis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan konseptual dan pendekatan kasus. Analisis dilakukan melalui penelaahan mendalam terhadap putusan pengadilan, peraturan perundang-undangan yang berkaitan dengan tindak pidana korupsi dan hukum perseroan, serta doktrin hukum pidana dan hukum korporasi yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan akuisisi tersebut merupakan keputusan bisnis strategis yang diambil dalam lingkup kewenangan direksi dan melalui mekanisme korporasi yang secara formal sah. Penegakan hukum dalam perkara ini cenderung bertumpu pada pendekatan legalistik dengan menitikberatkan pada pemenuhan unsur delik secara normatif, sehingga ketiadaan niat jahat (mens rea) dan tidak adanya keuntungan pribadi bagi terdakwa tidak menjadi faktor penentu dalam pembebanan pertanggungjawaban pidana. Perbedaan penalaran yudisial antara mayoritas hakim dan dissenting opinion mencerminkan konflik mendasar antara positivisme hukum dan pendekatan keadilan substantif. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penerapan penegakan hukum yang lebih proporsional, kontekstual, dan berorientasi pada perlindungan pengambilan keputusan bisnis yang wajar, agar hukum pidana tidak berujung pada kriminalisasi kebijakan korporasi publik.
