Abstract

Snowball Throwing is a learning activity in which student use snowballs or ball-shaped paper as a tool or medium to build student knowledge by utilizing various learning resources. This study aims to determine the effect of using this learning model on learning outcomes using the Snowball Throwing learing model at SMPN 2 Sumobito. The method used in this study was an experimental method. The instrument used was multiple-choice questions to determine student learning outcomes. The subjects used in this study were grade VIII G students at SMPN 2 Sumobito. The results of this study indicate that the Snowball Throwing learning model has an effect on the learning of grade VIII students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMPN 2 Sumobito. This can be proven by the results of the hypotesis test using a t-test with a significance level of (0,019) < (0,05), thus rejecting H0. Therefore, the snowball throwing learing model has an impact on student learning outcomes. Therefore, this learning model can be used as an alternative learning model for teachers to maximeze student learning outcomes, particulary in Islamic Religious Education (PAI).

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to apply the design of the mosque charity box tool with a good security system and improve skills and productivity in young men and women. The target of the implementation of Automatic Proximity Sensor Technology in the Charity Box in the Tembelang Village area, Tembelang District, Jombang Regency are young men and women. This activity was carried out at the AL-Hasan Balongombo TPQ Hall, Tembelang Village, Tembelang District, Jombang Regency with 20 participants. The implementation method uses PAR (Participatory Action Research) or so-called participatory action research, action research is related to an agenda for social change that embodies the belief in gathering knowledge to define problems to be solved. Then evaluate the activities using a Likert scale questionnaire form, with the results that 50% of the material presented is in accordance with the needs of partners and 60% of partners are satisfied with the implementation of this outreach activity.

Abstract

The work of the Youth Organization at Kudubanjar (Karang Taruna Kudubanjar) has not been implemented optimally in providing contributions and supplies to the community. This is caused by a lack of socialization and documentation of activities that have occurred, so that existing programs are sometimes not realized properly. To overcome this problem, this time the service will hold training aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the Youth Organization program. This training will cover several important aspects such as: effective socialization, activity documentation, project management, and use of technology. With this training, it is hoped that the Kudubanjar Youth Organization can be more effective in carrying out its programs and make a greater contribution to society. AI workshop for the young generation serves as the first step in preparing organizations to face rapid technological change, while opening up opportunities to create innovation and sustainable growth in the AI ​​era. As well as providing training in the form of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in making public service advertisements, which function to encourage people to care about the environment, with an interesting delivery method, namely in the form of storytelling. Participants gain a strong knowledge base about AI and feel more confident in facing inevitable technological developments, and this activity will open the door to a brighter future full of potential for the younger generation, especially youth organization members.

Abstract

This research is a type of development research or R&D (Research and Development) which aims to determine the process and results of the development of E-LKPD mathematics with a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) approach of linear program materials. The development model in this study uses the ADDIE model. Based on the results of the validity data analysis, according to the assessment of media experts, a percentage of 93.42% was obtained with a very valid category, and from material experts a percentage of 90.63% with a very valid category. The results of the students' responses increased the percentage to 85.86% with a very practical category. The results of the learning percentage obtained from the post test were 81% greater than the results of the learning percentage obtained from the results of the pre-test. Based on these data, it can be concluded that E-LKPD mathematics with a STEM approach for linear program materials is valid, effective and practical.

Abstract

Pemasaran digital adalah proses pemasaran produk dan layanan menggunakan media digital secara online atau internet, baik menggunakan e-commerce, atau media sosial yang bertujuan untuk mempromosikan produk. Pemasaran digital yang digunakan termasuk e-commerce seperti Shopee dan Tokopedia, sedangkan media sosial yang digunakan adalah Instagram. Pemasaran digital diperlukan untuk memperluas promosi produk yang dijual oleh pelaku UMKM, sehingga mereka dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dan mengundang lebih banyak konsumen potensial untuk memesan produk yang mereka produksi. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam layanan ini dibagi menjadi beberapa tahap, termasuk: observasi, sosialisasi, implementasi, evaluasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner respons sosialisasi. Pelatihan dan sosialisasi tentang pemasaran digital, khususnya yang terkait dengan pemasaran digital untuk UMKM A-AZ makanan ringan di dusun Kedung Lempuk Pesantren Tembelang Jombang memiliki dampak positif bagi pelaku UMKM sehingga mereka dapat mengelola bisnis mereka dengan lebih baik dan memperluas pasar sehingga dapat mendukung perkembangan dan kemajuan bisnis yang pada gilirannya dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat.

Abstract

Although the social environment has received relatively limited empirical attention in studies on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (IRE), it plays an important role in shaping academic success and learning behavior. This study aims to examine the effect of the social environment on students’ learning outcomes in IRE at SMPN 1 Tembelang. A quantitative approach with a survey design was employed, involving all students as participants through saturated sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, direct observations, documentation, and students’ report card results. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The findings indicate that the social environment has a positive and statistically significant effect on students’ IRE learning outcomes, as shown by a significance value of 0.006, which is lower than the 0.05 significance level. These findings support the perspectives of social learning theory and ecological development theory, which emphasize the role of social interaction in facilitating the learning process. This study concludes that a supportive and conducive social environment plays an essential role in improving students’ learning achievement in IRE. The findings contribute to Islamic education literature by providing empirical evidence on the importance of social-environmental factors in student learning outcomes and imply that schools should strengthen social support systems to enhance students’ academic performance.

Abstract

Although digital media in Islamic religious education has received considerable scholarly attention, limited studies have specifically examined the use of TikTok social media to improve junior secondary students’ understanding of the thaharah chapter in fiqh. This study aims to examine the effect of TikTok content use on improving students’ understanding of thaharah and to describe students’ responses to its use as a learning medium. A quantitative experimental approach was employed, involving 50 Grade VII students of MTs Al-Ihsan Kalijaring Jombang selected through total sampling. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, and a Likert-scale student response questionnaire. The instruments were tested for validity using Pearson product-moment correlation and for reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha. Because the data were not normally distributed, as indicated by the Shapiro–Wilk test (p < 0.05), hypothesis testing was conducted using the Wilcoxon signed-ranks test. The findings show that TikTok use significantly improved students’ understanding, with the mean score increasing from 41.00 in the pre-test to 76.80 in the post-test, representing an increase of 35.80 points or 87.32%. The Wilcoxon test produced an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, while the N-Gain score reached 0.60, indicating a moderate level of improvement. The study concludes that TikTok is effective as an alternative learning medium for thaharah material. These findings contribute to Islamic education by demonstrating the potential of audiovisual social media content to support students’ conceptual understanding and provide practical implications for teachers in developing innovative digital learning media aligned with Generation Z’s learning characteristics. Future research may extend this study through longitudinal designs and broader samples.

Abstract

This study investigates the presence of Islamic preaching (da’wah) content on Instagram and its influence on Generation Z’s interest in Islamic studies. The rapid growth of digital technology has transformed Instagram into an effective platform for delivering religious messages in a creative, interactive, and easily accessible manner, particularly for young audiences. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a descriptive associative design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to Generation Z individuals living in Dukuh Hamlet, Sidokaton Village, Kudu District, Jombang Regency, who actively use Instagram as a source of information and entertainment. The study employed a quota sampling technique, whereby respondents possessing predetermined characteristics were selected until the required sample quota was fulfilled. The relationship between da’wah content and interest in Islamic studies was analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that da’wah content on Instagram has a positive and significant influence on Generation Z’s interest in Islamic studies, as evidenced by a calculated t-value of 3.798, which exceeds the t-table value of 1.701. Factors contributing to this increased interest include the clarity of religious messages, creative content presentation, relevance to everyday life, the use of contemporary communication styles, and consistency in content delivery. These findings underscore the importance of effective digital da’wah strategies in enhancing engagement and encouraging sustained participation of Generation Z in Islamic learning activities.
