Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of Lake Batur which aims to maintain the preservation of Lake Batur as a form of sustainable tourism in Bangli Regency. In this study, there are three sample points, namely in Songan Village, Toya Bungkah and Kedisan Village. In this study, it will be analyzed through 11 parameters analyzed, namely temperature, odor, taste, color, pH, nitrate, BOD, DO, total phosphate, total coliform and fecal coliform. In this test, the method used is the STORET method, and in the analysis of the strategy used for pollution control using the SWOT method. Based on the results of the STORET calculation, the sample in Songan Village is included in the category of light pollution with a value of -4, the sample of Kedisan Village all indicators meet the Class 3 Water Quality Standard, and at the sample point in Toya Bungkah is included in the category of light pollution with a value of -8. The indicator that has a value exceeding the Class III Water Quality Standard, namely at the sample location of Songan and Toya Bungkah Villages, is the BOD level. So that the recommended strategy for its management based on SWOT analysis is to optimize the Strengths and Opportunities owned by Lake Batur, namely developing tourism around the lake which is based on sustainable development and in line with regular lake rejuvenation efforts carried out to maintain the balance of lake water quality by the community and the surrounding government.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the Guided Inquiry approach in enhancing critical thinking skills, learning motivation, conceptual understanding, and student learning outcomes in chemistry education. Utilizing the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this research reviews various relevant studies from international and national databases such as Scopus, ERIC, and SINTA, employing focused keywords. The analyzed articles were selected based on inclusion criteria that encompassed topic relevance and the availability of empirical data, resulting in 27 final articles for further analysis. The qualitative analysis results indicate that Guided Inquiry not only improves students' conceptual understanding of chemistry concepts but also strengthens critical thinking skills and learning motivation. Quantitative findings demonstrate a pattern of increased effectiveness across various educational levels, with more significant results observed at the secondary education level compared to higher education. Several factors, such as the role of teacher facilitation and student readiness, were also identified as important influences on the success of this approach. This study recommends the integration of the Guided Inquiry approach into the chemistry education curriculum, accompanied by the development of technology-based modules and continuous training for educators, to maximize the potential for constructive learning.

Abstract

Social cognitive theory developed by Albert Bandura is the most influential approach to learning. This theory emphasizes that a person's behavior can be learned through observation of social models in the surrounding environment, be it teachers, parents, or peers. This theory is known as observational learning or modeling. This research aims to explore the process of observational learning in an effort to strengthen the value of the Nggahi Rawi Pahu philosophy. The research method used is descriptive qualitative.  The sample in this study were fourth semester students of the Chemistry Education Study Program. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, administration of questionnaires and documentation. In this study, observational learning was carried out through 4 stages of cognition in the learning process, namely attention, retention, motor reproduction and motivation. 7 out of 10 students showed a positive response to the relevance, involvement and benefits of observational learning in an effort to strengthen the philosophy of Nggahi Rawi Pahu. This shows that through observational learning the value of the Nggahi Rawi Pahu philosophy can be improved.

Abstract

This study systematically examines the integration of constructivist and inquirybased learning (IBL) strategies in chemistry education, emphasizing their transformative potential for enhancing student engagement, conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Utilizing a systematic review methodology, 30 peer reviewed articles from credible databases such as Scopus and Web of Science were analyzed. The findings reveal that gamification, virtual reality (VR), molecular visualization, and guided inquiry significantly improve learning outcomes by contextualizing abstract concepts and fostering active participation. Gamification and VR were particularly effective at the high school and tertiary education levels, respectively, while inquiry based laboratory activities enhanced higher-order thinking skills. The analysis highlights the theoretical alignment of these strategies with constructivist principles and their practical application in modern pedagogy. Despite their benefits, challenges such as resource limitations and insufficient teacher training persist, hindering wider adoption. Addressing these barriers through professional development, resource investment, and innovative curriculum design is essential for maximizing the impact of constructivist and IBL approaches. This study provides actionable recommendations for educators, policymakers, and researchers, advocating for systemic changes to advance chemistry education in diverse learning contexts. By combining theoretical insights with practical applications, this research underscores the importance of active, inquiry driven learning environments for preparing students to excel in STEM fields.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada penerapan teori Jean Piaget dalam pembelajaran IPS. Jean Piaget merupakan pendiri pembelajaran konstruktivis. Jean Piaget memberikan pandangan bahwa pada dasarnya setiap siswa memiliki pengetahuan sebelum mereka diperlakukan dalam proses pembelajaran. Perkembangan kognitif juga mencakup teori perkembangan logika moral. Dimana pembelajaran erat kaitannya dengan sosial, nilai dan moralitas, pembelajaran studi sosial cenderung pada kognisi sosial sehingga mempengaruhi moralitas siswa, dan internalisasi nilai dan moral dalam pembelajaran IPS sangat perlu dipersiapkan dan direncanakan secara berkelanjutan. Semakin tinggi tingkat kognitif, semakin matang elemen komprehensif dan tanggung jawab dari seseorang tersebut, sehingga sikap dan tindakan mereka selalu berdampak pada tanggung jawab terhadap diri mereka sendiri dan lingkungan tempat mereka berada

Abstract

The low level of critical thinking skills among students in geography lessons in class XI.F at SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja is a problem that needs to be solved. In this regard, a classroom action research (CAR) study was conducted to analyze the application of the Mind Mapping-assisted PBL model in geography lessons and to improve critical thinking skills through the Mind Mapping-assisted Problem-Based Learning model. This study used Kemmis & McTaggart's Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, which was carried out in two cycles with 42 students in class XI F of SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja as the research subjects. Data were collected through observation and tests, then analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods.. The results showed that the application of the Mind Mapping-assisted Problem-Based Learning model went well. Students' critical thinking skills increased by 22.20%. Thus, the Mind Mapping-assisted Problem-Based Learning model is efficacious in improving students' critical thinking skills in geography at SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja.

Abstract

Learning is an activity that is an important part of the Education. Experiential learning is one of the learning options that can be given to students that allows student involvement to be greater. One of the learning models that seeks to accommodate experience as an essential part is Experiential Learning Theory which encourages students to think more, explore, question, make decisions, and apply something learned. This research aims to conduct a critical analysis related to David A. Kolb's ideas in the context of learning Hindu Religious Education in the school environment. Qualitative research methods with the literature review paradigm are an option in conducting research with a philosophical hermeneutic approach. Research data was obtained through book reviews, scientific articles, and other relevant scientific writings. Data analysis follows the steps outlined by Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and presentation of results. The results of the study show that the Experiential Learning Kolb model contextualized with Hindu Religious Education learning will provide convenience for teachers in achieving the formulation of learning outcomes, especially in the material aspects of Sradha and Bhakti, Susila, and Events. By following the cycle structure of Concrete Experience, Reflection Observation, Abstract Conceptualization, and Active Experimentation, teachers can determine the right learning steps for all dimensions of knowledge, ranging from factual, metacognitive, conceptual to procedural. Through this model, the Deep Learning approach can also be implemented to provide a more meaningful, conscious and fun learning experience for students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan WebGIS Kependudukan terhadap keterampilan berpikir spasial siswa dalam pembelajaran Geografi di SMA Negeri 1 Tejakula. Berbagai studi sebelumnya telah memanfaatkan WebGIS dalam pembelajaran, namun penggunaan WebGIS Kependudukan secara khusus masih sangat terbatas. penelitian sebelumnya yang memanfaatkan WebGIS Kependudukan menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL), sehingga efektivitasnya dalam model PBL belum banyak dieksplorasi. Kondisi ini menjadi celah penelitian yang penting untuk dikaji lebih mendalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen semu dengan pretest–posttest control group yang melibatkan 68 siswa. Keterampilan berpikir spasial diukur melalui tes esai yang dikembangkan berdasarkan empat indikator utama, yaitu comparisons, region, aura, dan transitions. Analisis peningkatan kemampuan dilakukan menggunakan uji N-Gain untuk menilai efektivitas pembelajaran secara proporsional antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBL berbantuan WebGIS Kependudukan memberikan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir spasial yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. Kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,72 (kategori tinggi), sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya mencapai 0,24 (kategori rendah). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi PBL dan teknologi geospasial mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, kontekstual, dan membantu siswa memahami data keruangan secara lebih mendalam.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mensintesis pengembangan teori pendidikan di Indonesiamelalui pendekatan antropologis, filosofis, psikologis, dan sosiologis dengan metode Systematic LiteratureReview (SLR). Kajian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kontribusi integratif dari keempat perspektifdalam pengembangan teori pendidikan di Indonesia. Melalui telaah terhadap 10 artikel ilmiah dari jurnalterakreditasi SINTA 2 hingga Scopus periode 2015–2025, ditemukan bahwa pendidikan perlu dipahamisebagai proses pembudayaan manusia secara utuh, yang melibatkan dimensi nilai, kepribadian, danstruktur sosial. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi keempat pendekatan mampu menghasilkankerangka teoritis pendidikan yang menempatkan manusia sebagai subjek belajar yang aktif, reflektif,dan sosial. Kontribusi utama artikel ini adalah menawarkan model konseptual pendidikan komprehensif berbasis integrasi multidisipliner, yang relevan untuk menjawab tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa resmi internasional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kritik etis Horne dengan teori konstruktivisme, dilengkapi dengan pendekatan humanistik dan partisipatoris, dapat membangun fondasi model pendidikan literasi berbasis etika yang inklusif. Kajian empiris SMERU Institute menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi guru, keluarga, dan komunitas dalam menghindari tujuh dosa guru serta mengoptimalkan literasi membaca di kelas awal, terutama di wilayah rural dan 3T. Kesimpulan penelitian ini merekomendasikan model pendidikan literasi partisipatif berbasis etik dan konstruktivisme yang dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam kebijakan inovatif dan pengembangan kapasitas guru di era global berbasis Bahasa Indonesia.
