Abstract

Manajemen komunikasi yang efektif dan efisien diperlukan dalam program community development untuk pencapaian pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses komunikasi dalam perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan dan evaluasi program CD PT. RAPP dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Informan dari penellitian ini terdiri dari 13 orang, sedangkan objek dari penelitian ini adalah Manajemen Komunikasi Community Development PT. RAPP Dalam Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Mayarakat (Studi Pada Program Sistem Pertanian Terpadu dan Program Usaha Kecil Menengah). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses komunikasi dalam perencanaan CD PT. RAPP dimulai dari mereview kegiatan tahun lalu, membuat draft perencanaan selanjutnya, rembuk desa. Komunikasi dalam pelaksanaan CD PT. RAPP melakukan survei, pembuatan proposal, administrasi, memberikan pelatihan dan bantuan kepada masyarakat. Komunikasi dalam pengawasan CCD PT. RAPP dilakukan setiap tahun oleh tim auditor dan evaluasi dapat dilihat melalui community statifaction surveys (CSS) yang dilakukan oleh pihak ketiga program CD setiap dua tahun sekali.

Abstract

Pelatihan guide lokal bagi masyarakat Bagansiapiapi melalui pemahamantentang pentingnya komunikasi yang efektif dalam mempersuasif dan memberikan informasipada pengunjung ritual Bakar Tongkang ini. Pada akhirnya, para pendatangtidak lagi harus kebingungan melihat tradisi Bakar Tongkang tanpa tahu makna dansymbol historis dari setiap gerakan atau aktivitas yang terjadi. Masyarakat local sebagaiguide merupakan perpanjangan tangan pemerintah untuk menginformasikan kepadapara pendatang mengenai tradisi tahunan ini. Dengan menawarkan pelayanan primakepada para pengunjung, masyarakat sebagai guide local tentunya sangat membantupemerintah dalam upaya mempromosikan tradisi ini sehingga menjadi salah satuobjek wisata yang dituju masyarakat luas. Untuk itulah penulis berencana melakukanpengabdian kepada masyarakat BagansiapiapiPemahaman mengenai komunikasi lintasbudaya dan komunikasi pariwisata menjadi pembuka cakrawala mereka dalammenumbuhkan kecintaan mereka untuk menjaga hari wisatawan yang berkunjungke Bagansiapiapi. Pelatihan public speaking dasar juga turun memberikan kesiapanpeserta pelatihan untuk dapat berkomunikasi efektif dan baik sebagai guide. MediaSosial dan Portal menjadi salah satu strategi promosi yang paling tepat digunakan olehpeserta lokal dalam mempromosikan tradisi Bakar Tongkang dan Rokan Hilir pada umumnya.

Abstract

Kabupaten Siak Sri Indrapura adalah salah satu kabupaten yang konsisten dalam mengembangkan industri pariwisata di provinsi Riau. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perubahan wajah Kota Siak Sri Indrapura yang bersiap dan berbenah untuk menyambut wisatawan yang lebih banyak setiap tahunnya, selain itu juga dibuktikan dengan terpilihnya Istana Siak sebagai situs terpopuler dalam Anugran Sapta Indonesia Tahun 2017 oleh Kementrian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Pada Event Tour De Siak yang diadakan tahun 2016 lalu, penulis sempat melakukan perbincangan dengan masyarakat setempat mengenai kondisi yang terjadi saat event ini berlangsung. Mayoritas peserta dan wisatawan mancanegara yang datang tidak fasih berbahasa Indonesia apalagi Bahasa Melayu dan sebaliknya juga masyarakat setempat selaku tuan rumah tidak lancar berbahasa Inggris. Berdasarkan realitas di atas, penulis tertarik untuk melakukan pelatihan tentang bagaimana kompetensi yang seharusnya dimiliki oleh masyarakat Siak guna mempersiapkan Siak sebagai daerah tujuan wisata. Sasaran dalam pelatihan ini lebih difokuskan pada generasi muda yang tinggal di Siak dan belum bekerja, pelatihan ini akan membuka ladang pekerjaan baru di Siak dan tentunya melalui pelatihan yang diadakan dapat bermanfaat menjadikan Siak kabupaten yang tidak hanya layak anak tetapi juga sebagai salah satu daerah tujuan wisatawan dalam dan luar negeri.Pelatihan yang dilakukan pada tanggal 12 September 2018 menghasilkan antusias warga yang sangat tinggi. Kami melihat bukan hanya pemerintah yang bersemangat memajukan daerah namun juga masyarakat yang terlihat antusias menyiapkan daerahnya sebaga tujuan wisata Provinsi Riau. Selain pelatihan, kami juga memberikan praktek public speaking kepada masyarakat untuk menyambut wisatawan yang datang. Kami sedang mengupayakan artikel untuk dimuat di Jurnal Nasional sebagai bentuk publikasi ilmiah serta pamplet yang nantinya akan dibagikan dan disebarkan tidak hanya di Siak tetapi juga di lokasi strategis seperti bandara dan pelabuhan.

Abstract

Social Media has enabled the birth of new forms of social and social organizations and then transformed into a "new weapon" for organizations or institutions in disseminating messages and information to their communities, including the police. This can be seen in the social planning media used by the Riau Regional Police Public Relations (Polda Riau Public Relations). Social media planning for Instagram and Facebook is prioritized for the latest publications and information related to information about the police. This research uses qualitative research methods and analysis with the concept of The Circular Model of SOME. The subject of this research is social media communication planning on the Riau Regional Police Public Relations media. Data collection was carried out through documentation studies, observations and interviews. Data analysis techniques by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Apart from that, data validity checking techniques use triangulation of sources and methods. The results of this research show that it is possible to utilize technological developments in the field of social media to disseminate information related to police activities themselves. The ease of conveying Riau Regional Police Public Relations information between the community and the police makes it easier to carry out their public relations duties. Therefore, it is necessary to use social media optimally in the Riau Regional Police's Public Relations duties in providing information services for Riau regional police activities. This is supported by using the SoMe concept.

Abstract

Asmaranur Modeling School is a modeling school in Pekanbaru, which was founded by the owner and trainer, Irvan Asmara, on February 1 2020 under the auspices of CV. Asmaranur Persada Sejahtera. AMS Modeling School is the first modeling school that provides learning not only about the catwalk but also education in forming personality such as attitude, public speaking, personal branding, and responsibility. This research aims to find out the Marketing Communication Strategy of Asmaranur Modeling School Pekanbaru through Instagram Social Media. The method in this research used a case study with a qualitative approach and purposive techniques which included interviews, observation, documentation. The informant subjects in this research consisted of 3 informants, namely Irvan Asmara as the owner and instructor, Bima Sakti as the content creator, Wildatul Muslimah as a student who had been registered at AMS for a long time. This research uses New Media theory and the concept of The Circular Model of Some created by Regina Luttrell which has 4 stages, namely share, optimize, manage, engage. The results of this research are that Asmaranur Modeling School Pekanbaru chose the social media Instagram based on the increasing number of social media users and in accordance with Asmaranur Modeling School Pekanbaru's target market, namely young people and adults who are active on Instagram social media. Before posting content, collect photo/video ideas. Asmaranur Modeling School Pekanbaru's Instagram social media is managed directly by Irvan Asmara as the owner and trainer, easily responding to comments from followers, and making it easy to repost tagged posts from me personally, students who take part in activities at Asmaranur Modeling School Pekanbaru. To build engagement with consumers or followers, Asmaranur Modeling School Pekanbaru also creates events and sponsors other important events.

Abstract

Selama masa pandemi covid-19 Mal SKA mengalami banyak perubahan berupa aturan baru dikarenakan adanya aturan yang telah ditetapkan oleh Pemerintah. Maka dari itu Mal SKA memiliki strategi dalam memanfaatkan media untuk menginformasikan kepada khalayaknya mengenai perubahan yang terjadi selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi pemanfaatan media dan pesan yang dilakukan Mal SKA, serta respon khalayak sasaran terhadap strategi tersebut.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan penyajian analisis deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 orang yang diambil berdasarkan teknik purposif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi keadaan sebenarnya di lokasi penelitian dan dokumentasi berupa gambar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik analisis data dengan mereduksi data, mengumpulkan data, menyajikan data, menarik kesimpulan dan evaluasi dengan menggunakan teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data yaitu dengan jenis triangulasi metode. Strategi Pemanfaatan Media merupakan ide atau gagasan bagaimana tujuan media akan dicapai melalui seleksi untuk menjangkau sasaran yang sesuai dengan segemennya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi penyusunan pesan adalah dengan disampaikan menggunakan media dengan bentuk pesan informatif dan persuasif. Untuk respon yang Masyarakat berikan terhadap penyampaian informasi selama masa pandemi covid-19 yaitu berupa respon positif dan respon negatif.

Abstract

Bengkulu Province is an area rich in culture and traditions which are still considered a legacy from our ancestors, one of which is Tabot. That in this era of globalization, competition between regions is getting tougher by increasingly developing regional potential and uniqueness so that they are able to compete with other regions. In this case, a city needs a strategy to create a strong regional or global positioning, this is better known as City Branding. City branding is one of the appropriate strategies to be implemented by the Bengkulu Province Tourism Office to develop a city identity that can attract domestic and foreign tourists to visit Bengkulu Province. This research aims to understand the city branding strategy of the Bengkulu Province Tourism Office in developing city branding through the Tabot Festival. This research method uses a qualitative research method using a descriptive approach. This qualitative research aims to explain the phenomenon through interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. In this research there were five informants who were taken using purposive techniques. In data analysis techniques by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. And checking the validity of the data was carried out using triangulation. The results of this research are for an identity strategy to first determine the identity of the city which can differentiate it from other areas which is symbolized using a logo or tagline. The objective strategy for city branding through the Tabot festival is to raise the image of the city and to attract the interest of local and foreign tourists. The strategy used by the Bengkulu Province Tourism Office is to collaborate with stakeholders related to the tourism sector such as the tourism industry, and to promote through media such as electronic media, online media, printed promotional media such as billboards and banners. The coherence strategy is to have a common message conveyed in promoting this branding, namely through communication carried out with other stakeholders by including the branding logo from Bengkulu Province.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the high dynamics of life affecting millennial moms for mental health disorders. So, every millennial moms really has the right to do self-healing or known as self-healing. Today's Digital Era has changed the way millennial moms view self-healing, which is very busy being carried out through Instagram social media with indications of sharing travel, care, shopping, quotes, and pouring out their hearts content. Millennial moms' familiarity with digital media is not in line with literacy skills which are considered to be still at a low level, so that the self-vulnerabilities experienced by millennial moms form an easy attitude to self-diagnose as sufferers of depression, stress and feel the need for self-healing. The purpose of this study is to find out the various meanings of self-healing behavior that millennial moms do on Instagram. The phenomenon of Self Healing Millennial Moms on Instagram can be studied through a phenomenological approach by applying symbolic interaction theory to reveal all the hidden meanings of the symbols depicted through self-healing actions of millennial moms on Instagram. This research also applies purposive techniques as the selection of informants. The data collection technique used in this study was through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation which were then analyzed through the stages of phenomenological research. The results of this study consist of the meaning of self-healing millennial moms via Instagram divided into three points according to the theory of symbolic interaction based on the Mind, namely self-healing as a form of self-healing process, self-pleasing, self-strengthening and self-disclosure. the second point is Self which means as a process of building positive suggestions, comparing oneself, building an image as a victim and the third point is Community, self healing means support. Abstract

Batik Bono is a work of art typical of Pelalawan district which has various motifs including Batik Kloso, Batik Sekijang and so on. The aim of this service is so that technological advances can be enjoyed by everyone, especially regional Batik craftsmen, to be able to adapt and maximize existing potential. In this case, the service team uses the method of implementing lectures and digital marketing media practices to help craftsmen market their products digitally so they can reach national and international markets. Realizing the limited human resources of Batik craftsmen in Pelalawan Regency, especially in using digital media to increase marketing of Bono Batik products, the service team collaborated with the Pelalawan Regency Manpower Service. From the results of the service, there are 50 Batik craftsmen spread across Pelalawan district. This dedication is a potential collaboration between the Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP) company and the Pelalawan Regency Tourism Office to advance the business of Bono Batik craftsmen in the future.

Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death in Indonesia, including in Pekanbaru, with the number of cases continuing to increase. This study aims to analyze the self-concept of breast cancer patients, both internally and externally. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a naturalistic approach, this study involved five informants, namely patients and their treating doctors. The results showed that patients' self-concepts were influenced by three main factors: past life, environmental influences, and current conditions. Internally, patients face dynamics in accepting physical, emotional, and social changes due to cancer, while externally, family and social support play an important role in the adaptation process. This study suggests the importance of environmental support in improving the quality of life of breast cancer patients.
