Abstract

Communication is an absolute necessity for every human being. As social beings, humans cannot but communicate with each other. Along with the development of women's emancipation and experiences that provide something for women moreover have target and self-concept by them own, family standard environment and others. The causes of the increase in unmarried women include high level of education. Opportunity to get a higher education and pursue a career in urban women makes them not in a hurry to make choices for marriage. In this study the authors used the phenomenological method. The data collection techniques uses were through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were 3 (three) unmarried career women. The results showed that the motive of future career women with unmarried status in Pekanbaru City is because (because motive), unmarried career women are able to survive, The motive for (in order to motive) in this unmarried career woman is want to be successful and be able to match. Where unmarried career women also want their lives run into harmony. The meaning of unmarried career women in Pekanbaru City is categorized into 2 perspectives. That is how they accept themselves as unmarried and how they convince themselves to live alone without a husband. The career women just need support, good perception of the surrounding environment as well as relatives. Associated with negative communication experiences, like gossip, become a topic of conversation with the family, and marriage topic will be sensitive topic for them.

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi dibidang pariwisata sangat dibutuhkan untuk memunculkan kesan yang baik bagi parawisatawan yang datang berkunjung ke objek wisata di Kabupaten Pelalawan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada kelompok sadar wisata (POKDARWIS) di Kebupaten Pelalawan berlangsung di Dinas Pariwisata dan Olahraga Kabupaten Pelalawan. Pelatihan communication skill di bidang pariwisata menekankan pada pentingnya mengutamakan kesan atau pengalaman bagi para wisatawan agar berkunjung dan datang kembali. Dalam meningkatkan kesan ini diperlukan kemampuan komunikator POKDARWIS yang cakap menguasai objek wisata, selain itu perlu adanya media atau chanel seperti brosur dan spanduk. Dalam pelatihan ini diajarkan bagaimana membuat pesan yang baik dan pesan yang efektif, sehingga sampai kepada para wisatawan dengan baik. Pada pengabdian ini diajarkan juga tentang konsep sadar wisata dan Sapta Pesona yang mencakup rasa aman, tertib, bersih, sejuk, indah ramah dan kenangan. Dalam communication skill untuk bidang pariwisata, diberikan juga materi tentang pentingnya hospitality dan tourism yang mencakup penyelesaian masalah, kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal, kemampuan berbahasa, kemampuan manajemen dan kemampuan multi tasking. Hal ini bertujuan agar para wisatawan mendapatkan pengalaman yang menarik dan ingin datang kembali berkunjung. Selain itu, juga diajarkan kemampuan komunikasi nonverbal bagi POKDARWIS dalam memberikan service kepada wisatawan baik wisatawan mancanegara dan domestik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication model of the Peat Lestari CSR program and the Independent Community at PT KPI RU II, which is produced by Sungai Pakning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The technique of determining the informant is purposive. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the concept of Miles and Huberman. And data validation techniques use extended participation and triangulation. The results of the study show that the Peat Lestari and Mandiri Community CSR programs use the donuts communication model. This model is to provide a starting point for improving communication in CSR programs. This suggests that there is a positive potential among corporates from organized message management. With a participatory and persuasive communication approach, it can make communication flexible. So that there will be a match of perceptions. DCM is an upgrade from traditional or ordinary communication. This communication is able to realize an interactive process. The purpose of traditional or ordinary communication is that the convergence communication model (social media) is changed to an oral communication model.

Abstract

Generally, weightlifting is known as man’s sport. However, by time, gender equality has been spread from various sport profession resulting particularly female weightlifter. Becoming a female weightlifter is not an easy profession. In fact, there is no woman who was born and named instantly as an athlete. The physical activity that was done by woman nowadays has changed the feminist image towards competence and physical development. The aim of this research is to idemtify the motive, the self-meaning and the meaning of weightlifting profession for female in Pekanbaru.This research was conducted through qualitative method with phenomenological approach. The subject of this research was five female weightlifter in Pekanbaru that was chosen by purposive technique. The data collection technique was collected through interview, observation, and research documentation. To achieve the validity of data in this study, researcher used extension of participation and triangulation.The initial result for because motive showed that female weightlifter was motivated through joining other, curiosity and parents boast. Besides for in order to motive the data showed that they want to be a weightlifting coach with better achievement, and having next generation. Secondly, female weightlifter interprets themselves as a great and strong woman Thirdly, female weightlifter defines that this weightlifter profession is a hard profession with income.Keywords: Female Weightlifter, Motive, Selft Meaning, Meaning of Profession

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the development of sharia business over the past 10 years, besides that there are many factors that the majority of Muslims carry the theme of Islamic sharia in business activities, for example such as trading services in accordance with Islamic sharia. This triggers the existence of associations or communities that carry the theme of Islamic sharia in its business activities. One of them is Kpmi Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community. which must be known about their motives and meanings in conducting Islamic business, after leaving the conventional business.          This study uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects consisted of six people consisting of chairpersons, secretaries, treasurers, and members of the Muslim Entrepreneurs Community in the city of Pekanbaru (KPMI) selected using snowball sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. To validate the data, the writer uses the technique of extending participation, perseverance of observation and triangulation.           The results showed that the motives of KPMI members in conducting sharia business in their business activities consisted of motives which included drawing closer to Allah, the motives to stay away from usury, muamalah motives, Al-Qur'an love motives, family support motives. Various motives because it is the background of Indonesian Muslim entrepreneurs in the city of Pekanbaru in implementing business based on Islamic sharia. The purpose or expectation motive (in order to motive) which is the objective of informants' participation in implementing syraiah business, which consists of expectations for the motive for ukhuwah Islamiyah. Get guidance, open up jobs, share knowledge with fellow Muslim entrepreneurs. Whereas the meaning of sharia business is explained to Indonesian Muslim entrepreneurs in the city of Pekanbaru, which includes profit-material and non-material benefits, Sustainability. Meaningful blessings, favors and gratitude that we get from our hard work, this we can get by running a halal business, with that Allah gives blessings to the people he wants.               Keywords: Community, motives, Meaning. Abstract

Adopting children is nothing new in our lives. Each marriage couple would want the presence of a child as the successor of his family that will be educated and raised in the best way. Indonesian people since the past have never been separated from the chinese race people, in this case they lives in harmony as citizens of Indonesia. In Pekanbaru can be found some marriage couples who adopts a chinese race child even though they are also have a biological child in the family. This study aims is to reveal the experience of communication in these families that adopt chinese child. The type of research is descriptive qualitative with phenomenology approach. Based on field facts through observation, in-depth interviews documentation. The research subjects of the families who adopted the chinese race child were from 3 families who also had their biological children from their marriage. This study focuses on exploration in the informant's communication experience. For the purposes of this study are proposed the following three questions: (1) what is the motive of the couple adopting chinese race children (2) How does this family interpret the adoption of chinese children (3) How do they experience their communication in the family with different adopted race children. The results of this study indicate the motives of the family who adopted chinese race child in Pekanbaru consists of because motive which is they are familiar to the chinese race, feel able to educate and raise, having sympathy and empathy. While the motive for in order to motive is to be a muslim chinese, to avoid conflict with the adopted native family, gives love and affection. The meaning given by the growing families who adopted chinese children they live in is destiny to be grateful and add diversity in the family. While the meaning that the perpetrator given generally is differences of religion is something that is only done by capable families and something that can be emulated. The communication experience is categorized into two, which is a fun communication experience and unpleasant communication experience from relatives and the family environment it self. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan-tahapan dalam pengelolaan program CSR Pertanian dan Perikanan Bukit Mekar Terpadu.  Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dan penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pertamina RU II Dumai CSR melaksanakan empat tahapan pengelolaan program CSR Bukit Mekar diantaranya: tahap perencanaan program CSR Dumai RU II melakukan social mapping untuk mengetahui wilayah binaan yang membutuhkan program. pendampingan dan pengumpulan permasalahan sosial di wilayah binaan yang meliputi penyuluhan dan pendampingan tentang program yang akan dilaksanakan. Pemantauan program, termasuk pemantauan sistematis yang dilakukan oleh CSR Pertamina RU II Dumai dan pemangku kepentingan terkait. Evaluasi, yang dilakukan untuk kelangsungan program agar terus berjalan dan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan pendapatan masyarakat yang dikelola oleh Kelompok Tani. Untuk melihat upaya perusahaan dalam memberikan pendampingan dan penyuluhan kepada Grup Bukit Mekar atas pengelolaan program Pertanian dan Perikanan Bukit Mekar Terpadu, perusahaan berupaya mewujudkan program CSR ini menjadi Ikon Pariwisata Kota Dumai. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa Pertamina RU II Dumai CSR melaksanakan empat tahapan pengelolaan program CSR Bukit Mekar diantaranya: tahap perencanaan program CSR Dumai RU II, pendampingan dan pengumpulan permasalahan sosial di wilayah binaan, Pemantauan program, Evaluasi, yang dilakukan untuk kelangsungan program agar terus berjalan dan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan pendapatan masyarakat yang dikelola oleh Kelompok Tani.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada upaya-upaya merumuskan kebijakan-kebijakan yang nantinya bisa diterapkan di Intansi-intansi yang ada tidak hanya dalam skala regional namun juga nasional mengenai apa dan bagaimana PR itu selayaknya di lapangan sehingga kita mampu mewujudkan kompetensi komunikasi yang excellent. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada 4 orang informan dari PERHUMAS Wilayah Riau. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk mewujudkan excellent PR tidak bisa hanya dari satu pihak saja, kerjasama dan integrasi yang solid antara perusahaan yang berkomitmen mewujudkan excellent PR dengan praktisi PR yang tidak berhenti memperbaiki kualitas mereka. Hambatan dalam mewujudkan excellent PR di Wilayah Riau sejauh ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman mengenai fungsi dan tugas humas, divisi humas masih dianggap sebagai pelengkap dan digabungkan dengan divisi lainnya, minimnya pelatihan kehumasan baik ditingkat akademisi maupun masyarakat serta penerapan excellent PR dianggap terlalu sulit dan rumit untuk diwujudkan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa Penyerapan kompetensi komunikasi PR di beberapa Intansi di Provinsi Riau dirasa masih belum maksimal.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mengubah banyak hal dalam kehidupan, masyarakat perlu untuk memahami Covid-19 agar menghindari terjadinya kecemasan berlebihan atau abai sehingga tertular Covid-19. Banyak media yang memberikan informasi tentang Covid-19, namun tidak semua informasi dapat diterima kebenarannya. Untuk itu Kawalcovid19 membuat banyak informasi agar dapat membantu masyarakat terhindar dari hoaks dan juga tidak terlalu abai terhadap Covid-19. Sebagai salah satu sumber informasi Covid-19, Kawalcovid19 memiliki banyak pengikut di Instagram. Penerimaan masyarakat terhadap informasi Covid-19 dapat dikaji dengan menggunakan metode analisis resepsi dan teknik pemilihan informan dengan teknik purposif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang kemudian teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis resepsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari enam orang informan, dua informan berada pada posisi dominan dan empat informan lainnya berada pada posisi negosiasi. Selain itu tidaka da informan yang berada pada posisi oposisi. Resepsi informan ini dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor seperti usia, pendidikan dan lingkungan. Sehingga mempengaruhi resepsi informan terhadap informasi Covid-19 yang diterima dari Kawalcovid-19.

Abstract

The phenomenon of self-harm is an iceberg phenomenon that generally attacks teenagers. Self-harm is an act of self-harm in which the perpetrator finds pleasure and a feeling of satisfaction and relief. This act of self-harm is not properly recorded, but the times have shown that self-harm sufferers have begun to show their activities on social media such as Twitter. Several previous studies have explained that teenagers self-harm due to a lack of communication and bonding between the perpetrator and his family and closest people. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of social penetration in adolescents with self-harm communication patterns in establishing interpersonal relationships in Pekanbaru City and to determine the communication patterns formed in adolescents with self-harm in establishing interpersonal relationships with family and friends in Pekanbaru City. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. Based on the findings in the field, the communication pattern found by self-harm sufferers with their families is using permissive communication patterns. Permissive communication patterns of self-harm sufferers are in the form of indifference, indifference, and freedom that goes beyond parents’ boundaries to children. Self-harm sufferers admit minimal verbal and nonverbal interaction with their parents and that self-harm is done not as a form of protest but rather as an emotional outlet. Self-harm is a form of children’s disappointment with their parents, and their actions upload these actions on Twitter as a form of protest and resistance by children against communication patterns and parenting patterns in a wider scope as well as a medium for dancing with friends so that they don’t feel alone.
