Abstract

At present transportation is a common thing for the citizens of the City of Jakarta. Handling by the Jakarta City government continues to be pursued. One way to do this is to build a busway lane. The construction of this route is expected to overcome the problem of congestion in the city of Jakarta. However, all of that can make many people use Transjakarta transportation during working hours, so that there will be overload and threaten the feasibility of Transjakarta transportation. An incremental model is a system development model in software engineering based on software requirements that are broken down into functions or parts so that the development model is phased in. on the other hand there is interpreting the incremental model as an improvement of the waterfall model and as a standard topdown approach. Using this model is expected to produce software that functions quickly and earlier during the software life cycle, is more flexible and cheaper to change the scope and requirements, thereby reducing initial shipping costs. Furthermore this model is easier to do testing and debug during smaller iterations. The development of life and technology at this time is felt more quickly and demands change in various sectors. Very rapid technological advances allow for various businesses to provide convenience and comfort for humans. One effort to provide convenience and comfort is through the development of load weight detection system design on Transjakarta buses. Adding Arduino as a "brain" and detecting the weight of this load is more practical but very useful for humans and the feasibility of Transjakarta. If the detector is overloaded, a buzzer will sound that has detected excessive overload.

Abstract

Cattle cage is a term that refers to a structure used to house farm animals or animal homes. The structure might be in the form of a container, a building, or something else entirely, depending on the type of animal being farmed. Because most cattle shed doors are slotted or padlocked, there is a high rate of theft from irresponsible individuals seeking to take livestock without permission. The primary objective of this research is to devise a security system capable of keeping cattle pens secure and free of thieves or burglars that cause livestock loss. The author chooses the Atmega 328 microcontroller because it features a Harvard architecture that separates program code and data memory to maximize work and parallelism. Additionally, this circuit may be connected to an Arduino Uno to create a variety of electronic circuits ranging from simple to complicated. LED control, helicopter control, servo drive control, and robot control can all be implemented by adding specific components. Thus, a prototype was created for an automatic door safety system that employs an infrared sensor to detect the presence of animals and automatically opens the entrance, locking it with a password and ringing a buzzer in front of the farmer's house if the password is incorrect. This tool was created to help minimize cattle losses due to theft.

Abstract

Maritime transportation is vital for global trade but faces risks from gas leaks and fires, which can endanger ships and crews. Many small and medium-sized vessels lack effective systems to detect hazardous gases early, raising the chance of accidents. This study focuses on developing a prototype early warning system to detect gas leaks and fires on ships using an MQ-6 sensor and an Arduino Uno microcontroller. The goal is to provide a low-cost, real-time monitoring solution to improve maritime safety. The research follows a hardware prototyping and software development process using a waterfall approach, including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The MQ-6 sensor identifies flammable gases like LPG and butane, while the Arduino Uno processes the sensor data and triggers alarms when gas levels become dangerous. The prototype was tested in a simulated ship environment to assess its sensitivity, response time, and reliability. Test results show that the system detects gas concentrations above safe limits within 3 to 5 seconds, activating visual and audio alarms quickly. The device also operates continuously with low power consumption, making it suitable for long-term use on ships. The study shows that this prototype can serve as an affordable and reliable additional safety device for maritime settings. This research supports efforts to improve ship safety systems by offering a practical way to reduce risks from gas leaks and fires. The system’s simplicity and effectiveness make it a promising option for enhancing onboard hazard detection.
