Abstract

Sistem bank menjadi lebih maju di mana banyak orang yang sekarang bahkan tidak memegang uang tunai dan melakukan transaksi melalui aplikasi atau transfer online. Namun, ada beberapa transaksi bank yang ketinggalan jaman, seperti cek bank tertulis. Verifikasi dan kliring cek bank tertulis membutuhkan tenaga kerja yang sangat besar. Oleh karena itu, ada berbagai penelitian yang dilakukan untuk membuat transaksi cek bank menjadi lebih efisien, salah satunya adalah penggunaan machine learning. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui akurasi CNN-XGBoost untuk verifikasi tanda tangan dan rekognisi angka dan huruf. Untuk pengembangan penelitian ini, sebuah simulasi verifikasi dan pengecekan informasi cek bank akan dilakukan dengan model CNN-XGBoost. Dataset yang dipakai untuk pelatihan model di penelitian ini adalah IDRBT bank cheque dataset, EMNIST Digit, dan EMNIST Letter. Dataset akan di preprocess menggunakan beberapa cara seperti menghilangkan background, grayscale, padding, pixel normalize, histogram equalization, gaussian blur, dan canny edge detection. Dari penelitian didapatkan hasil accuracy model untuk verifikasi tanda tangan sebesar 97.06%, untuk rekognisi huruf 98.76%, dan rekognisi angka 99.57%. Model tidak dapat digunakan untuk sepenuhnya menggantikan tenaga kerja manusia dalam kliring cek bank tertulis. Ini karena risiko kesalahan dalam transfer keuangan sangat berbahaya, kesalahan dalam transfer dapat menyebabkan uang yang dikirim jauh berbeda dari yang tertera di cek. CNN-XGBoost masih berguna untuk membantu ekstraksi informasi untuk membantu mengurangi tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has made a major contribution to improving security systems, especially in the automotive sector. One of the main challenges in securing motor vehicles is providing real-time protection against potential threats such as theft or vandalism. In this study, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based vehicle security system was designed and implemented that utilizes the ESP32 microcontroller as the main tool to detect physical contact or interference with the vehicle. This system integrates the MQTT communication protocol for sending data to a FastAPI-based backend server, which then stores the data in MongoDB Atlas and sends notifications to users via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). Users can monitor and respond to these notifications through an Android application built using Android Studio and the Java programming language. In addition to notifications, this application also provides a sound alarm player feature and a display of sensor activity history. The test results show that the system is able to detect and respond to events quickly and accurately, with a notification delivery time of less than two seconds after the data is received by the server. With an integrated and real-time system architecture, this solution is expected to be an economical, efficient, and reliable alternative to improve the security of private and public vehicles.

Abstract

Rapid population growth in the Babelan and Sukatani areas of Bekasi Regency has significantly increased the demand for clean water, posing a challenge for PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi in maintaining a reliable and sustainable drinking water supply. This study aims to evaluate the performance of the existing water distribution network and propose an optimized development plan to meet projected demand through 2041. The methodology includes population and water demand projections, evaluation of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) capacity, hydraulic simulation using EPANET 2.0, and cost estimation for network development. The results show that by 2041, the population in Babelan and Sukatani is projected to reach 418,390 and 149,700 people respectively, with corresponding water demands of 481.8 L/s and 172.5 L/s. The existing WTP capacities are insufficient, particularly in Sukatani, which currently operates at only 44 L/s. Hydraulic simulation indicates that a looping distribution system is more effective than a branching system in improving water pressure and reducing losses. However, implementing a looping system requires a higher investment, estimated at approximately IDR 15 billion, compared to IDR 10 billion for a branching system. Given these findings, the study recommends that PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi prioritize increasing WTP capacity and adopt a looping-based distribution network to ensure long-term service reliability, particularly in high-growth areas. This approach offers both technical and economic benefits for future water supply planning and can serve as a model for other regions facing similar challenges.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan konsep Internet of Things (IoT) kepada siswa SMA Negeri 26 Batam untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa. Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah minimnya pemahaman siswa terhadap perkembangan teknologi mutakhir, khususnya IoT, serta belum adanya pendekatan pembelajaran yang membahas secara kontekstual di sekolah. Kegiatan ini menekankan pemahaman dasar melalui presentasi visual, diskusi, kuis, dan penugasan berbasis studi kasus dalam bentuk pembuatan poster. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu memahami konsep dasar IoT dan mengekspresikan gagasannya secara kreatif. Kegiatan ini juga mempererat kerja sama antara kampus dan sekolah dalam membangun kesadaran teknologi sejak dini.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to design and implement a backend system for a corporate profile website and product knowledge CRUD features for PT. Panca Utama. The company, which supplies equipment to the hospitality industry, previously lacked a digital platform to support its online presence and customer engagement. The development process followed the Scrum framework, consisting of sprint planning, collaborative development, iterative evaluation, and implementation phases. Django, a Python-based backend framework, was employed to build a secure, structured, and efficient system. The final website successfully fulfilled the partner's needs in terms of functionality, accessibility, and ease of content management. The implementation contributed to improving the company’s digital visibility and enhancing customer service quality. Beyond the direct benefits to the partner, this program also provided students with practical experience in applying technical skills in a real-world industrial context.

Abstract

Smart Guard Home is a design for security, safety, comfort and prevention for humans. Internet of Think-Based Smart Guard Home which the author designed uses an interconnected Microcontroller and Sensor which is then sent over the network to a PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) Web server which is responsible for sending data via the HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) protocol and running scripts. Appropriate PHP. PHP scripts are used to process requests, access databases, and generate dynamic content which will be sent to the Database which is then sent back to the client. The author uses the hosting MySql Database which is then accessed using CPanel and managed using PHP Scrip and sent via the internet to the Android application. Mobile and web applications are Android UI/UX-based applications for real-time monitoring and notifications that can be accessed anywhere and anytime via the internet network.

Abstract

Chat Application is an application that allow people to communicate with each other without face-to-face meetings or time issue. To design a well-functioning chat application, this study was conducted using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method for designing chat application. Apart from that, this study will be using the Python programming language, the PyMySQL module used to connect python to the database, and the Tkinter module is used as a tool in this study to create a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for chat application, and not to mention this study will be using Symmetry Encryption Cryptography to perform encryption and decryption of user chat data.

Abstract

Most trainer module equipped a system error simulator (Fault Simulator), to activate the fault simulator the instructor must press a button that will bring up a certain type of fault that the trainer wants to simulate, then students will analyze the source of the error and fix it. The weakness of this trainer is that teachers must press a button on the trainer when they want to change the fault simulator in front of students so that participants will know which type of fault simulator is being run without troubleshooting. If this happens, the teaching objectives are not achieved so that the teaching process using this trainer becomes less effective. To overcome this problem, a remote-control prototype for trainers was designed consisting of an infrared (IR) based transmitter and receiver. To facilitate integration of the fault simulator module, the IR Transmitter and IR Receiver will communicate serially. From the tests carried out, it can be concluded that the designed remote-control prototype for trainers is functioning properly. IR transmitter and IR receiver can communicate serially using infrared media. This remote-control prototype has an optimal distance in the range of 0-5 m.

Abstract

A safe-deposit box is a box used for keeping precious items. Safe-deposit boxes are designed to be difficult for people to open by force. There are various security systems that may be used in it, such as mechanical key, combinational lock, PIN, etc. However, a safe-deposit box is still prone to unpermitted access because anyone who knows the PIN or possesses the key is still able to open it. This research aims to create a safety-box prototype which has a face recognition system implemented on it to ensure no unauthorized person may access this box. Experiment is performed on three different classes, which are “erwin”, “unknown”, and “willy”. Class of “erwin” and “willy” are defined as safe owners, while “unknown” is defined as anyone who is not both owners. Classification on safe owners is considered success if the percentage output in corresponding classes is at least 90 %. Classification on “unknown” class is considered success if the result is at least 90 % or percentage on each class is lower than 90 %. Accuracy for each class is 0 %, 71.43 %, dan 100 %.

Abstract

Aim: This study aims to assess the entire process of septage management comprising regulation, operational procedures, finance, community involvement, and water quality analysis to maximize the initial and hugest human fecal sludge treatment called Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant (IPLT) in Yogyakarta. Methodology and Results: The Modified EHRA (Environmental Health Risk Assessment) method was applied which focused only on wastewater treatment aspect. Several regulations including standard quality methods (SNI) were utilized and made a comparison between baseline rules and obtained results. Furthermore, quality assessment was accomplished by observation and interview. The results showed that the human sector needs to improve not only the amount of operators but also urgently put up protective personal equipment during the suction process. The dissemination of attractive information about sludge suction service done by PUPKP as a representation of the local government among the dwellers ought to upgrade a lot. Technologies employed which are carriage transportation and vacuum machine, are good enough. Contrarily, septage treatment plants require extra-effort to enhance it as most water quality parameters barely meet the standard quality. BOD, COD, ammonia, total coliform, oil and grease do not meet the third class of water quality (Government Regulation of Republic of Indonesia No. 82/2001). Subsequently, the effectiveness of each unit i.e. anaerobic tank and stabilization ponds are under 50% and the loading rate has a maximum capacity of 87.5m3/day, and 60m3/day minimum capacity.
