Abstract

PT SGB is one of the companies that produce Ready To Drink (RTD) beverage as its product and its demand have increased every each year. The company’s supply chain process must be complex, it starts from materials order from supplier, materials storage management in warehouse, producting the beverage itself, finished good storing in the back-off factory then delivering to customers. All those processes belong to company’s supply chain stream and it is mapped as the element of Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR). From that complex processes, there were found supply chain risk as the problem. Risks that found in supply chain flow should be solved based on risk priority order. The method that used for analizing the risk is House of Risk (HOR), consist of two phases. The objective of the first phase of HOR is knowing the risk priority that should be mitigated based on the Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) score, and the objective of the second phase of HOR are generating some preventive strategies and choosing the most effective strategy that suitable to be implemented in the company. Meanwhile, the Pareto chart is used to determine the choosen priority risk to be mitigated. There are 63 identified risk events based on SCOR elements, 43 identified risk agents, and 15 recommended preventive strategies according to the most effective sequence of strategies that applied in the company.

Abstract

The plastic injection molding process is one of the widely used of the manufacturing process to manufacture the plastic product with high productivity.  Moreover, the food packaging manufacturing industry undergoes the trials and errors to obtain the optimal setting of the process parameters in order to minimize the quality issues and these trials and errors are time consuming and costly.  The aim of this study is to improve the quality of the butter tub by minimizing the volumetric shrinkage. This study is to deal with the application of Moldflow integrating with the statistical technique to minimize the volumetric shrinkage the butter tub which depends on the process parameters of the plastic injection molding.  For this purpose, the rectangular shape of butter tub is designed by utilizing the SolidWorks.  Molflow is used to simulate the plastic filling of the single cavity mold of butter tub based on the Taguchi’s  orthogonal array table.  In addition, the analysis of variance (ANOVA) is applied to investigate significant impact of the process parameters on the quality of the butter tub. Minitab is used to optimize the response of the volumetric shrinkage by selecting the most appropriate process parameters that maximizing the desirability value.  Furthermore, the butter tub has a uniform thickness which was 1.2 mm and its factor of safety was 3.383 and the volumetric shrinkage response have optimized by 0.956 %. The melt temperature and mold temperature are found to be the most significant process parameters for the plastic injection molding process of butter tub and the volumetric shrinkage value obtained from the simulation is verified by the calculated volumetric shrinkage value.

Abstract

Cement Industry for distribute product to consumer has many distributors for each district. One of them an Pasuruan. Pasuruan Distributor has problem that cement’s demands are increasing significantly but  sales are decreasing. This phenomenon happened because of the limited capacity of warehouse about 352 m2. Therefore, they planning to additional warehouse capacity with three options (1) Build new warehouse, or renting warehouse from location (2) A or location (3) B. Distributor should conduct a feasibiility study in order to determine the best option. In this research, Analytic Hierarchy Proces) is used to know the interest rate of each criteria. The criteria are location, wide of location and cost. The results shows that AHP value for building warehouse is 0,327. In the other hand, AHP Value for renting warehouse A and B are  0,448 and 0,225. Based on this comparison, rent A will be the best option as it has the highest AHP.

Abstract

Milkfish is an aquaculture product and has a role in supporting food security and nutrition in Indonesia. The reliability of milkfish farming will be able to increase the income of small and medium-scale farmers. Milkfish farmers in SMEs level experience problem of declining prices in the period of oversupply in farming. Moreover, the profit earning by the farmers tend to decrease time to time. This research was mapping the structure of milkfish downstream supply chain using system dynamic simulation. The first step in mapping process was identifying the actors in the milkfish downstream supply chain. The next stage was defining activities and variables that affect supply chain milkfish profit. The activities and variables were used to develop a causal loop diagram (CLD). Furthermore, stock and flow diagram was constructed based on CLD and used as system dynamic simulator of milkfish supply chain. The result of system dynamic simulation showed the profit obtained by each actor in milkfish supply chain and a total profit of the entire supply chain. The profit, gained by supply chain in the current configuration, during the period 2016-2020, is Rp72.615.608.004,00. According to the simulation result, the proposed scenario will be able to increase the profit of supply chain up to 27,58%.

Abstract

Performance measurement is done to measure the achievement of the company. Performance is made to know the company is reaching its target. In this research, the company's performance in the field of electrical contractor is measured. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) used from the perspective of the organization, process, and staff. Weighting KPI using Analytical Hierarchy Process. Objective Matrix and Traffic Light System are used for the scoring system. The results showed that from 23 KPI got 9 KPI is in the red zone, 10 in the yellow zone and the rest in the green zone. From these results then the company needs improvement to improve performance.

Abstract

Malang is one of the industrial centers of tempe chips. To maintain the quality and food safety, analysis is required to identify the hazards during the production process. This study was conducted to identify the hazards during the production process of tempe chips and provide recommendations for developing a HACCP system. The phases of production process of tempe chips are started from slice the tempe, move it to the kitchen, coat it with flour dough, fry it in the pan, drain it, package it, and then storage it. There are 3 types of potential hazards in terms of biological, physical, and chemical during the production process. With the CCP identification, there are three processes that have Critical Control Point. There are the process of slicing tempe, immersion of  tempe into the flour mixture and draining. Recommendations for the development of HACCP systems include recommendations related to employee hygiene, supporting equipment, 5-S analysis, and the production layout.

Abstract

The concept of eco-culture has a sustainability paradigm that emphasizes the harmony of humans and ecosystems. The target is the strengthening of local characters through the study of local genius, as well as the application of science and technological innovation in managing the potential for improving the quality of the environment and humans. Increasing the economy through tourism is its added value. Kampung Baran has a unique ethnographic and geographical setting inhabited mostly by low-income people. The potential that can be developed is agriculture which is now slowly starting to be abandoned. This study examines the application of the eco-culture concept which consists of an image of space, an image of building, and an idealized concept of place for the development of Kampung Baran. Through a descriptive-phenomenological study, the researcher explores the physical-spatial-architectural and economic-social-cultural phenomena of Kampung Baran as the object of study. Furthermore, the study of the application of the concept of eco-culture in the village of Baran was carried out through a SWOT analysis. The results obtained indicate that the concept of eco-culture can be applied in Kampung Baran by emphasizing on strengthening the noble values of the culture of agrarian communities in the expression of tangible and intangible heritage that is adaptive to cultural dynamics and strengthening and developing local potential.

Abstract

Honey is a hype product as immunity booster in the health shock covid-19. Unbalance of supply and demand has raised the price and made the consumer could not afford it. Besides that, global issue about unoriginal honey which spreads in society has made the consumer has negative stigma on SMEs honey product because it does not have complete food safety certification as commercial company. Objective of the research was to increase the consumer trust through originality assurance for honey product from traceability system. The research is a case study with FGD method and then followed by Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) analysis and Business Process Notation as solution. Result of the research showed that the distribution aspect has great power to affect the stakeholder and logistic aspects, due to success of both aspects are determined by distribution aspect. While the stakeholder aspect does not have any power to affect other aspect because if the business system has correct SOP, then both aspects will have appropriate supply chain management. Therefore, the solution is business process improvisation, so that to increase the trust local brand for honey product, it must be optimized through recording system of customer journey, so that the producer could trace the barrier and enabler factors about perspective of the honey originality
