Abstract

Adaptation Strategy for Pempek Business Actors During the Covid 19 Pandemic in Pempek Village 26 Ilir Palembang City which aims to understand and know adaptation strategy for Pempek businesses during the Covid 19 pandemic. Pempek Village 26 Ilir, Palembang City as a sample to identify adaptation strategies and constraints.Based on the theory of Ahimsa Putra, including Adaptive Behavior, Adaptive Strategies, Adaptive Processes. This research according to the type of data used is descriptive qualitative research with key informants, Pempek Business Actors in Pempek Village 26 Ilir Palembang City, Consumers or Buyers, totaling 17 people. The research instrument used in-depth interviews, literature study, documentation and observation.Based on the results of the research, first about adaptive behavior, Pempek business actors in Kampung Pempek 26 Ilir changed sales from conventional to online. The two adaptive strategies of Pempek business actors in Kampung Pempek 26 Ilir changed payments which were originally direct to virtual online, such as via bank transfers and OVO. The three adaptive processes, namely business actors reducing the amount of production so that business continuity can still survive during the Covid 19 pandemic. Then, the obstacles faced by business actorsPempek in Kampung Pempek 26 Ilirmake adjustments that refer to problems arising from the interdependence of all aspects of culture, where the covid 19 pandemic affects the economy which will inevitably affect the government to carry out large-scale restrictions or social distancing, business actors Pempek in Kampung Pempek 26 Ilir forced to adapt to situations faced by economic changes, forcing business actorsPempek in Kampung Pempek 26 Ilir adapt to environmental changes during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya fenomena seks pranikah yang terjadi pada siswa SMA di Kota Palembang, saat ini banyak siswa SMA yang sudah mulai tertarik dengan lawan jenisnya, bahkan tidak sedikit dari mereka yang berpacaran dan melakukan prilaku seksual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tentang tindakan atau prilaku seks pranikah dari kalangan siswa SMA di Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Fenomenologi Edmund Husserl. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan unit analisis data yakn siswa SM di Kota Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observsi wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi siswa SMA di Kota Palembang melakukan hubungan seks pranikah dikarenakan beberapa faktor yakni pertama faktor internal yaitu faktor yang berasal dari siswa itu sendiri seperti kelemahan mengendalikan suatu dorongan serta kecenderungannya, kegagalan baik dalam pergaulan maupun prestasi belajar disekolah. Kedua faktor eksternal yaitu faktor yang berasal dari diri anak itu sendiri atau dari lingkungannya seperti lingkungan keluarg, linngkungan masyarakat, serta perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas “Strategi Dakwah Ta’mir Masjid Agung Kota Palembang” Penelitian ini membahas mengenai strategi dakwah Ta’mir Masjid Agung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Masjid Agung Kota Palembang. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa data primer dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui wawancara , observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dilapangan kemudian di analisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti mewawancarai 9 orang Ta’mir Masjid Agung kota Palembang. Setelah dianalisis lebih dalam lagi, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa strategi dakwah Ta’mir Masjid Agung Kota Palembang yaitu pengkaderan dan pembinaan pada generasi muda, dakwah melalui internet, tradisi dakwah sebagai daya tarik Masjid Agung Palembang, dakwah pada masyarakat marjinal perkotaan, penguatan pelayanan sarana dan prasarana masjid, menyeleksi petugas peribadatandan petugas dakwah, seni dan olahraga sebagai daya tarik remaja.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat skema terintegrasi ini mengambil tema tentang pendidikan politik bagi pemilih pemula menjelang pemilu 2024 di Desa Pulau Semambu, Kecamatan Indralaya Utara, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah jumlah pemilih pemula di desa Pulau Semambu sebanyak 299 orang, dan masih membutuhkan pemahaman tentang Pendidikan politik dan urgensi pemilu. Oleh karena itu tim pengabdian masyarakat melakukan kegiatan ini dengan tujuan untuk menambah dan mengembangkan pengetahuan pemilih pemula tentang demokrasi Pancasila, partisipasi politik, pemilihan umum (pemilu) dan seputar pemilih pemula. Khalayak sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah Pemilih Pemula dengan rentang usia 17 sampai 20 tahun. Sebanyak 25 peserta hadir mengikuti kegiatan ini. Kegiatan berlangsung pada tanggal 6 Agustus 2023 bertempat di Balai Desa Pulau Semambu, kecamatan Indralaya Utara kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan menggunakan metode pemberdayaan dengan teknik pemberian pengetahuan melalui ceramah penyampaian ilmu, kemudian diskusi dan  latihan (simulasi) dan dilakukan evaluasi kegiatan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan pemahaman peserta mengalami peningkatan dari 63% menjadi 85% di kategori sangat baike (meningkat sebesar 22%). Sementara kategori pemahaman dari cukup baik yang sebelum materi disampaikan ada 11% setelah materi disampaikan menjadi tidak ada kategori tersebut (hilang) dan berubah menjadi baik dan sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa materi yang disampaikan bisa meningkatkan pemahaman pemilih pemula tentang pemilu, Pendidikan politik dan partisipasi politik.This integrated scheme community service activity takes the theme of political education for beginner voters ahead of the 2024 election in Pulau Semambu Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The problem faced is that the number of beginner voters in Pulau Semambu village is 299 people, and they still need an understanding of political education and the urgency of elections. Therefore, the community service team carried out this activity to increase and develop beginner voters' knowledge about Pancasila democracy, political participation, general elections (elections), and beginner voters. The target audience in this research is beginner voters with an age range of 17 to 20 years. A total of 25 participants attended this activity. The activity occurred on August 6 2023 at the Pulau Semambu Village Hall, North Indralaya sub-district, Ogan Ilir district, South Sumatra. This community service activity uses the empowerment method with the technique of imparting knowledge through lectures, then discussions and exercises (simulations), and evaluation of activities through pre-test and post-test. The activity results showed that participants' understanding had increased from 63% to 85% in the very good category (an increase of 22%). Meanwhile, the understanding category from quite good before the material was delivered was 11% after the material was delivered to no category (disappeared) and changed to good and very good. This shows that the material can increase beginner voters' understanding of elections, political education, and political participation.

Abstract

This integrated scheme community service activity focuses on increasing society's awareness of climate change, its impacts, and mitigation and adaptation efforts that need to be carried out. This theme was chosen because climate change has become a global problem and needs to be addressed on the international, national, and local levels. Therefore, this community service activity is carried out to increase society's awareness about climate change. The activity will take place on August 6, 2023, at the Semambu Island Hall, North Indralaya district, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The target audience is comprised of residents of Semambu island, both men and women and a total of 30 people. The method of activity is empowerment, which provides material on the concept of climate change, the impact of climate change, mitigation efforts, and adaptation to climate change through counseling and mentoring methods. The results of this activity show that activities to increase society's awareness about climate change, its impacts, and mitigation and adaptation efforts that need to be carried out provide benefits in the form of increasing understanding and awareness of participants as target audiences. The understanding and awareness of activity participants increased by 26%. These results are obtained by comparing the pretest and posttest, carried out before and after the activity is carried out. Pretest and posttest are carried out by providing several questions in the form of questionnaires related to climate change material, the impact of climate change, mitigation, and adaptation to climate change. Thus, this activity is able and successful in contributing to increasing society's awareness about climate change in accordance with the objectives and benefits of the expected activities. The advice is that activities to increase society's awareness of climate change need to be continuously socialized to help the earth's safety. Related parties can follow up through programs related to saving the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the intensity of social interaction of students on the level of religiosity of students at the Harapan Mulia Integrated Islamic Junior High School Palembang and to determine the influence of the intensity of social interaction of students on the level of religiosity of students at the Harapan Mulia Integrated Islamic Junior High School Palembang. This type of research is quantitative. The instrument used in collecting data is a Likert scale model questionnaire. The population of the study, namely the students of Harapan Mulia Palembang Integrated Islamic Middle School as many as 299 people with a sample of 70 people through a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The results of the study found that there was a significant influence between the intensity of social interaction on the level of religiosity of SMP IT Harapan Mulia Palembang students. This can be proven by the results of hypothesis testing using Linear Regression Analysis. This test obtained a sig value of 0.000 and an α value (0.000 <0.05), then Hₒ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. By accepting Hₐ as a result of the analysis, it means that there is a significant effect of the intensity of social interaction on the level of religiosity of SMP IT Harapan Mulia Palembang students. The test results for the coefficient of determination R Square is 0.874, indicating that the variable intensity of social interaction is able to explain the variable level of religiosity of 87.4% in other words, 87.4% of the level of religiosity is determined by the intensity of social interaction carried out by students, while the rest is 12. 6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai konstruksi kerukunan umat beragama (studi pada kerukunan masyarakat beragama Hindu dan Islam Desa Tugu Mulyo Kecamatan Lempuing Ogan Komering Ilir). Metode yang penelitian gunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan strategi penelitian fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi , wawancara mendalam pada 13 informan, dokumentasi serta studi kepustakaan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teori konstruksi realitas sosial dari Petter L. Berger. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kondisi hidup harmonis antar agama khususnya Islam dan Hindu melalui gambaran kegiatan seperti gotong royong, tradisi Kenduri, tradisi Ngejot, serta Bersih desa. Konstruksi kerukunan umat beragama di desa Tugu Mulyo disebabkan oleh (1) terbangun nya keterikatan dalam berinteraksi antar agama yang berbeda, (2) perbedaan status ekonomi, (3) menghargai nilai budaya keagamaan yang berbeda, (4) penanaman nilai toleransi melalui pendidikan.

Abstract

Chinese traders are one of the many Ethnic Businessmen in Indonesia who have achieved success in various places in Indonesia including in Palembang City, this is inseparable from the Trust capital that has existed for generations. This research aims to analyze trust in the social capital of ethnic Tiu Chiu and Hokkien traders in the 16 Ilir Market Area of Palembang City. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type. The results of this study indicate that trust in social capital has an important role in the progress and sustainability of businesses carried out by ethnic Tiu Chiu and Hokkian in trading, with the trust between fellow Tiu Chiu and Hokkian traders providing opportunities for ethnic Tou Chiu and Hokkian traders to develop. Trust, besides having to be instilled in traders, must also be given to customers so that they continue to trust and always buy goods belonging to ethnic Tiu Chiu and Hokkien traders in the 16 Ilir Market Area of Palembang City.

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this community service activity is to provide information on the importance of HALAL and the steps to obtain HALAL certification for UMKM. Apart from that, it also provides information on the importance of listing the nutritional composition on product labels as a communication medium between bekasam producers and consumers. Methodology: The method used is socialization of HALAL certification and assistance with nutritional analysis of bekasam. Results: The success of the activity can be measured through pretest and posttest parameters as well as the results of laboratory analysis, nutritional content of bekasam. All activities starting from preparation, socialization and nutritional analysis went well. Participants can understand halal certification material above 50%. Bekasam has nutritional content (chemical composition) in the form of protein (23.39%), fat (7.73%), minerals (11.07%), carbohydrates (1.37%), and water (56.44%).
