Abstract

This research aims to analyze the competitiveness of corn and the effect of input-output price changes on the competitiveness of corn farming in Sekampung Udik District, East Lampung Regency. This research was held in Sidorejo Village, Sekampung Udik District, East Lampung Regency. The respondents of this research were 6 farmers implementing intensive farming management, taken using purposive sampling. The competitiveness was analyzed using PAM (Policy Analysis Matrix). The results showed that corn farming in Sekampung Udik District, East Lampung Regency was competitive (PCR = 0.3499 and DRC = 0.2944). The decreasing of corn price by 26%, the increasing of fertilizer price (urea = 33.33%, SP-36 = 29.03%, Phonska = 31.43%, and KCl = 25%), the increasing of seed price and landrate by 4.28%, caused a decrease in the competitiveness of corn farming. The competitiveness of corn farming in Sekampung Udik District, East Lampung Regency was sensitive to the decreasing of corn price by 26%.Key words: competitiveness, corn, PAM, sensitivity

Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the level of production’s efficiency  rice farming  and level of rice farming income  in the technical irrigation land and in the rainfed. The research was done in Lampung Selatan in July – September 2014. The Location of research was done in the District of Palas with consideration of the area is rice production centers in Lampung. Collection data was  by using questionnaire and interview of the samples. Samples were taken  random, consisting of 33 rice farmers in irrigation lands technical and 47 rice farmers in rainfed. Data were analyzed using frontier production function, and analysis of farm income. The results showed that : (1) differences in the level of production’s efficiency of rice farming in both types of irrigation between technical irrigation land and rainfed. The level of production’s efficiency in the planting season 1 by 76.33 percent for technical irrigation land and by 67,09 percent for rainfed. while in the planting season2  at the level of efficiency of technical irrigation land by 87, 81 percent and at rainfed by 69,26 percent. (2) Cash income of rice farmers planting season 1 and planting season 2 on technical irrigation land is greater than cash income rainfed rice farmers. Revenue in the first planting season, respectively Rp 15,276,139.75/ha for technical irrigation land and Rp14,965,568.58/ha for rainfed. In planting season 2, income is Rp15,426,044.69/ha for technical irrigation land and Rp11,672,920.22/ha for rainfed. Abstract

Village irrigation is an alternative irrigation technology to complement the technical limitations of irrigation.  The purpose of village irrigation development is to increase the availability of water which can support the growth of rice plants so that the factors of production are efficiently used.  This study aimed to determine the factors that influence production, productivity levels, and farm income in irrigated rice village.  The study was done in Tanjung Kesuma village, Purbolinggo District, East Lampung regency by a survey method.  The number of 40 farmers of this research samples was drawn randomly.  The research was conducted in irrigated farm village, at the season of gadu that was occured in April until September 2012.  The factors that affected the production were analized by Cob-Douglas function.  Farming analysis was used to determine the level of farm productivity and farm income.  The results showed that the affecting factors of paddy production were land, seeds, urea, organic fertilizer, and labor.  The paddy farming in irrigated fields paddy villages during gadu growing season in 2012 was profitable.  The average productivity and farm income were 1.9 tons/ha and Rp3,387,325.89 with the R/C ratio of 2.17. Abstract

This research objective was to analyze the factors that affect the CPO exports of Lampung Province. The research was conducted in Lampung Province and used secondary data. The data was collected in July 2012 from several departments and agencies related to this research. The factors that affect the CPO export in Lampung Province were analyzed by using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results of this study indicated that the CPO export of Lampung Province was positively affected by the CPO production, the international price of CPO, and palm oil prices. In addition, it was negatively affected by the domestic CPO prices and CPO export tax of Lampung Province.   Keywords: Crude Palm Oil (CPO), export, Lampung Province

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: the financial feasibility and the sensitivity of rice transplanter business unit. The location is purposively selected in Seputih Raman Subdistrict, Central Lampung Regency. This research uses a census method with 3 respondents owners of rice transplanters of two differences in machinery investment, i.e, the year of 2014 and 2015.. Data are analyzed quantitatively using measurement criteria for financial and sensitivity analysis. The results showed that the rice transplanter business unit is financially viable. The machine of  rice planting  business unit (rice transplanter) is still feasible despite the drop harvest area of 6.83%, the assumption of a decrease in rental rate machine of 5%, and the increase in operating costs of 3.85%.Key words: financial, rice transplanter, sensitivity

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the profit of red chili farmings on cluster in South Lampung district and to find out the gain of scenario at that clusters.  It was conducted at clusters of red chili farming in South Lampung district.  Thirty six respondents were obtained by census method and be interviewed using questionnaires.  The analysis was performed using farm income, Bayes Theorem and profit expectation.  The results showed that red chili farming could give a favourable profit by looking at the R/C value which was more than one.  The red chili sales of scenario at the clusters in South Lampung district were determined based on the time and the price levels that occured in the first cropping pattern had the highest expectation occured on July (sales scenario of 25%) and August (sales scenario of 75%).  Meanwhile, the sales scenario for the second cropping pattern had the highest expectation occured on December (sales scenario of 25%) and on January (sales scenario of 75%). Key words : profit analysis, profit expectation, red chili farmings

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the financial benefit of water pump rental services business unit and sensitivity of water pump rental services business unit.  This research uses  case study method in Mekar Mulya Village, Palas Sub-District, South Lampung Regency. The research location is intentionally chosen by consideration of the place is the central of rice production and there is surface water irrigation of paddy by utilizing water pump. The number of respondent is 34 people taken by sensus method. Data of this research is collected on November 2015 – January 2016. The analysis data uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis.  The result of this research show pump irrigation feasible and profitable to be developed. NPV of 329,864,982.14, IRR of 76.95 percent, Gross B/C ratio of 1.3, Net B/C Ratio of 5.39 and payback period (PP) of 2.39. Water pump rental services business unit sensitive to changes in fuel cost increase of 66.67 percent and oil cost increase of 17.86 percent.  Key words: financial feasible, pump irrigation, rice farm

Abstract

This study aims to determine the highest satisfaction level of SB-CBDproduct attributes, analyze the level of customer satisfaction coffee powder SB-CBD, analyze the level of loyalty coffee powder SB-CBD, and know the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty of coffee powder SB-CBD. This research was conducted in the city of Bandar Lampung purposively.The number of consumer respondents as many as 60 people, using accidental sampling. The data was analyzed by descriptive analysis, analysis of Consumer Satisfaction Index (CSI), analysis of Important Performance Analysis (IPA), pyramid loyalty and Rangk Spearman correlation analysis. The results showed that there were five atributs which had the highest satisfaction namely halal label, taste, price, aroma, and expiration dates.  The level of customer satisfactionofcoffee powder SB-CBD belonged to satisfied criteria and promotion attributes needed to be improved for better company’s performance.  The level of consumer loyalty of coffee powder SB-CBD belonged to the category of loyal because the majority of consumers as described in pyramid loyalty were at the level of liking the brand.  There is a positive relationship between the level of satisfaction and loyalty coffeepowder SB-CBD. Abstract

This research is to find out determining production cost and selling cost of corn and the affect use of various kinds of seed corn in the determining production cost.  The research was conducted in July - August and used a survey method in Sidorejo Village, Sekampung Udik Subdistrict, East Lampung Regency. The samples of this research are 52 corn farmers selected randomly.  Analysis of data is conducted using the determining production cost, determining selling cost, and one way Anova.  Analysis of the cost of goods production used the margin profit of 15 percent. The results showed determining that production cost is Rp1,383.00/kg for Bisi-18, Rp1,379.28/kg for NK-33, Rp1,448.77/kg for Pioneer-27, and Rp1,359.52/kg for DK-95.  Determining selling cost with profit margin 15% for Bisi-18 is Rp1,590.45/kg, Rp1,586.18/kg for NK-33, Rp1,666.09/kg for Pioneer-27, and Rp1,560.00/kg for DK-95. The average price received by the farmers as much as Rp1,741.04/kg, It means that farmers have benefit from technicial efficiency of corn farming. Abstract

AGRO-TOURISM MANAGEMENT TRAINING IN SUNGAI LANGKA VILLAGE, PESAWARAN DISTRICT, LAMPUNG. Sungailangka Village is a village in Pesawaran District which has been named an agro-tourism village by the Lampung Provincial Government. This PKM Aims (1) increase the knowledge and skills of village government officials and the community regarding agro-tourism management, (2) inventory the potential of Sungailangka Agro-tourism Village. The method used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results of the post-test from this PKM showed that the level of participants' knowledge about agro-tourism managemnt had increased by about 70 percent. The potential for agro-tourism in Sungai Langka Village includes the potential for agriculture, plantations, the environment, and home industry. The leading businesses in Sungailangka Village include a variety, including: (1) citrus picking tours and salak garden tours, (2) various kinds of chips (jackfruit, banana, and zalacca), (3) handicrafts (4) culinary: (bumbu pecel, cocoa powder), and (5) and goat farm (etawa goat's milk).
