Abstract

A teacher needs the right strategy to build a conducive and enjoyable learning atmosphere for his students. The purpose of this research is to develop e-book learning resources that are interesting and in accordance with the characteristics of elementary school students. This type of research is development research that was developed using the ADDIE model which consists of five steps, namely Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. Researchers involved two validators to validate the e-book and the material contained in the e-book. Based on the validation results, it shows that (1) the e-book developed by the researcher is included in the valid/feasible category with an achievement of 91.25%. (2) The material in the e-book is proven to be effective and in accordance with the characteristics of students at the elementary school level with a score of 97.5% included in the valid qualification (3) The student response questionnaire shows that the use of the e-book is proven to be effective and easy to understand with the results of student responses by 91.1%. Based on the acquisition of values ​​in the data analysis above, it can be concluded that the basis for the development of e-book media in thematic learning is valid/fit for use in elementary schools. Abstract

This research aims to apply the discovery learning model through the use of spatial net media to improve the learning outcomes of students in class IV B SDN Pakis V Surabaya. The instruments used in this study were initial observation, teacher and learner activity observation sheets, and learner learning outcomes test (assessment) sheets. The results showed that the application of the discovery learning model through the use of media can improve the learning outcomes of students. The results of the study obtained a comparison of student learning outcomes according to the criteria for achieving learning objectives (KKTP). The achievement of learning outcomes in cycle I shows that the category has not been achieved still shows 6.89%; category achieved 17.24%; category achieved well 51.72%; category achieved very well 24.13%. The average class score was 75.82. While in cycle II showed better results where the achievement of learning outcomes was 100% with details in the achieved category 6.89%, the category achieved well 37.93% and the category achieved very well 55.17%. There are no learners who fall into the unachieved category. The average class score also increased to 85.00. Thus the application of discovery learning through the use of media nets can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of first-grade students in the subject of mathematics, specifically in the topic of grouping and presenting data in the form of lists and tables. The aim of this study is to investigate the improvement of first-grade students' learning outcomes in mathematics through the implementation of the problem-based learning model using a culturally responsive teaching approach. This research is classified as a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study are 27 first-grade students from SDN Putat Jaya IV-380 Surabaya. Data for this research were collected through observations and tests, and were analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The results indicate that implementing problem-based learning through a culturally responsive teaching approach can enhance students' learning outcomes in mathematics, specifically in the topic of grouping and presenting data in the form of lists and tables. The average pre-cycle learning outcome was 69.55, which increased to 78.51 after the first cycle of PBL implementation, and further improved to 90.88 in the second cycle. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model through culturally responsive teaching is effective in enhancing the learning outcomes of first-grade students in mathematics at SDN Putat Jaya IV-380 Surabaya..

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade 1 students at SDN Putat Jaya IV-380 Surabaya on addition material through the use of interactive PPT media with a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with 28 students as subjects. The data collection techniques used are observation and tests. In cycle I, teacher teaching activities and student learning were in the sufficient category, respectively with a percentage of 71.43% and 68.18%, and the completeness of student learning outcomes was 68.18% (poor category). In cycle II, teacher teaching activities and student learning increased to 94.64% and 95.45% (very good category), and the average student learning outcomes increased to 89% (very good category). The research results show that the application of interactive PPT media through the CRT approach can improve the learning outcomes of grade 1 students on addition material.

Abstract

The lack of student interest and motivation which has an impact on low mathematics learning outcomes is the background of this class action research. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade I students on flat building materials through the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model with two cycles, each of which consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results showed that the application of the PjBL model through the CRT approach can improve student learning outcomes. This was shown by an increase in the percentage of classical learning completeness from 44.44% in cycle I to 88.88% in cycle II, as well as an increase in the average N-Gain from 0.35 (medium category) in cycle I to 0.66 (medium category) in cycle II. Thus, the PjBL model with the CRT approach can effectively be used in learning mathematics to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The expiry time of a drug or expiry date is the time limit for using a drug after it is produced by a pharmaceutical factory, before the packaging is opened. Drug ED is a condition at a time where a drug is no longer suitable for use starting from the potency, quality, efficacy and safety of the drug. The expiration date of a drug is determined when the drug is first opened, which is called the Beyond Use Date (BUD). BUD is the time limit for using a medicinal product after it has been formulated or prepared or after the primary packaging has been opened or damaged. The aim of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of BUD drug self-medication patients. The method used is a survey method by giving a questionnaire with 20 questions to respondents. Based on the research results, it was found that the level of knowledge of self-medication patients was in the good category for semi-solid preparations with a percentage of (78.98%), solid preparations (63.78%), liquid preparations (67.02%) while for knowledge of BUD medicines with a percentage (75.26%). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the patient's level of knowledge is still in the sufficient category with a percentage (75.26%). Keywords : level of knowledge, BUD, ED

Abstract

Masih ada sekitar 50% peserta didik yang masih kesulitan untuk menghafal perkalian, masih ada juga yang belum bisa perkalian susun terkadang ada yang sudah langsung bisa hafalan tetapi setelah itu peserta didik lupa sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi menurun nilainya masih ada yang dibawah KKM. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan minat belajar peserta didik dengan hasil belajar kognitif pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas V di SD Al Hikmah Surabaya. hasil signifikansi pada minat belajar peserta didik 0,200 yaitu sig 0,200 > lebih besar dari taraf signifikansi 0,05. hasil signifikansi hasil belajar peserta didik 0,063 yaitu maka sig 0,063 > lebih besar dari taraf signifikansi 0,05. nilai F = 5,251 dengan signifikansi 0,005 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa signifikansi 0,005 > lebih besar dari pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. uji T 0,000 maka nilai sig 0,000 < taraf signifikansi 0,05. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan Korelasi Product Moment Person sehingga dapat mengetahui apakah minat belajar peserta didik dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran matematika. berdasarkan hasil dari rumus Korelasi Product Moment dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil perhitungan 0,743.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI-A pada materi norma dalam kehidupan di SDN Jajar Tunggal III / 452 Surabaya. Metode yang dipakai adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), penelitian ini melibatkan 28 siswa kelas VI-A sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini diterapkan dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, dengan fokus skenario tentang norma yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data didapatkan hasil dari siklus 2 menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 88,75 dan prosentase kkm siswa 82,14% mencapai nilai diatas 80% daripada hasil siklus 1 dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 82,53 dan prosentase 71,42% dibawah 80%. Hasil tersebut menjelaskan indikator pencapaian nilai telah mencukupi dengan adanya peningkatan hasilbelajar mencapai lebih dari 80% dengan selisih prosentase sebesar 10,72% dan selisih rata-rata kelas 6,22 setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus 2.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine student learning activities using the PBL model on energy sources in class V SDN Dukuh Kupang Surabaya. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative research type. The subjects of this research were 26 students of class V at SDN Dukuh Kupang Surabaya. Data collection techniques carried out in this study were observation and documentation. Student learning activity data shows a percentage of 85.52% is in the very good category. So it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model can help improve student learning activities. Students during learning gave a good response to the application of the PBL model. Teachers can use the PBL model as an active, creative, effective and fun learning model for students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying the cooperative learning model of the TGT type with the aid of Educaplay in improving students' learning outcomes in the IPAS subject. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted at SDN Jajar Tunggal III Surabaya. The learning outcomes of the IPAS topic on Diseases Affecting the Musculoskeletal System during the pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II showed a significant improvement. In the pre-cycle, the mastery achieved was only 29%, with 8 students reaching mastery and 20 students not yet achieving it. In cycle I, the percentage of students reaching mastery rose to 61%, with 17 students achieving mastery and 11 students still not reaching it. In cycle II, the percentage of students achieving mastery soared to 86%. These data indicate that both cycles successfully improved students' learning outcomes by applying the TGT cooperative learning model with the help of Educaplay.
