Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran role playing pada siswa kelas V di SDN Dukuh Kupang V Surabaya. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya pemahaman siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita karena metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif dan cenderung monoton. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan plan, do, dan see. Setiap siklus melibatkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika setelah penerapan model pembelajaran role playing. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 60%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 90%. Penerapan role playing membuat pembelajaran lebih interaktif, melibatkan siswa secara aktif, dan membantu mereka memahami konsep matematika dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran role playing efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas V SDN Dukuh Kupang V Surabaya dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes individual freedom to learn according to their potential. Thus, teachers face the challenge of providing instruction that suits students' varying abilities. In addition, many students face difficulties in multiplication and division when studying mathematics. So, the aim of this research is to find out whether student learning outcomes are better by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in learning Indonesian in one grade. Learning Indonesian in first grade often faces problems in improving students' skills. Consequently, the aim of this research is to apply the PBL learning model and learning approach at the appropriate level (TaRL) at SDN Pakis V Surabaya. The aim of this research is to explain the use of TaRL in Indonesian language learning in grade 1 using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and document analysis. The research results show that efforts to improve student learning outcomes are through the use of TaRL in a process that includes classifying learning needs, learning design, implementation, and student reflection and evaluation.

Abstract

This study endeavors to enhance the scientific learning results of sixth graders at SDN Jajar Tunggal III/452 Surabaya by using the Problem Based Learning pedagogical approach with the support of wordwall media, with a focus on global Indonesian cultural heritage materials. Two rounds of classroom action research have been conducted. Class VI-A students from SDN Jajar Tunggal III/452 Surabaya in the 2024–2025 school year were the focus of this investigation. This study use (1) as its method of data collecting. Second observation. Recordings, three. Interview. The proportion of classical student learning outcomes that fell into the "very low" category was 32.14% before the cycle began, 67.85% during the first cycle, and 100% during the second cycle. Compared to the first cycle's assessment, the second cycle's outcomes were better. With an average final score of 85.55, the assessment findings for cycle II of classical learning completion attained 100%. The results show that in the 2024–2025 school year, students in class VI–A at SDN Jajar Tunggal III/452 Surabaya may benefit from using the problem-based learning approach with wordwall medium to study world-class Indonesian cultural heritage.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop e-book-based teaching materials through the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach that are engaging and aligned with the characteristics of elementary school students. This research is developmental research using the ADDIE model, which consists of five steps: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, and validation sheets. The researcher involved two validators to validate the e-book and one validator to validate the content within the e-book. Based on the validation results, it was found that: (1) The e-book-based teaching materials developed by the researcher are categorized as valid/feasible with a percentage of 91.25%. (2) The content within the e-book is proven to be effective and suitable for the characteristics of elementary school students, with a percentage of 85%, categorized as valid/feasible. (3) The student response questionnaire indicated that the use of the e-book is effective and easy to understand, with a percentage of 91.53%, categorized as excellent. Based on the data analysis results, it can be concluded that the development of e-book-based teaching materials through the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach is valid/feasible for use in 5th-grade Indonesian language lessons on Compound Sentences. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the learning outcomes of integer arithmetic using bead media among fourth-grade students at MI Miftahul Huda Gempol Kurung Menganti-Gresik. This study is classified as Classroom Action Research (CAR), with 26 fourth-grade students as the subjects. Data collection techniques used in this research include tests and observations. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively for observational data and quantitatively for test data, and the research was conducted over two cycles. Based on the research results, it was found that in the pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II, the use of bead media improved the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students on the topics of addition and subtraction of integers. The teacher's activity level increased from 72% in cycle I to 85.33% in cycle II. The percentage of student activity rose from 73.33% in cycle I to 83.33% in cycle II. Additionally, student learning outcomes improved from 42.30% in the pre-cycle to 69.23% in cycle I, and further increased to 96.15% in cycle II.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the inhibiting factors for the completion of Elementary Education Teacher students’ bachelor thesis (hereinafter will be called PGSD Students) in terms of internal and external factors. This research is qualitative descriptive using mixed method approach. The data of this research were collected using questionnaire and interview. The data analysis was performed by counting the percentage from frequent number that emerge in the questionnaires, then describes. The collected data were grouped and presented so that it can be easy top read, then analyzed and concluded using percentage technique. The result of this study showed that (1) The highest obstacle experienced by students in completing a thesis is psychological barrier with cognitive sub-indicator, it has 62 voters with percentage 67,39%; (2) The lack of books or references with 61 voters with a percentage of 66.30%; (3) physical barriers with pain sub-indicator were chosen by 60 voters with a percentage of 65.21%; (4) psychological barriers with affective sub indicator has the number of voters as many as 57 with a percentage of 61.95%; (5) counseling problems with a total of 55 voters with a percentage of 59.78; (6) meeting with supervisors problem were chosen by a total of 52 voters with a percentage of 56.52%; (7) Psychic or mental obstacle problems with psychomotor sub-indicators with 50 voters with a percentage of 54.34%; (8) the costs / funds problems with a total of 49 voters with a percentage of 53.26%; (9) on-campus activities with a total of 46 voters with a percentage of 50%; (10) problems with off-campus activities and the influence of parents with a total of 39 voters with a percentage of 42.39%; (11) pregnancy problems with 37 voters with a percentage of 40.21%; (12) family problems with 27 voters with a percentage of 29.34%. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SD berdasarkan letak fisiografis  pada zona utara Kabupaten Mojokerto. Pengumpulan Data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket berskala, lembar observasi dan lembar wawancara yang diolah secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Objek penelitian adalah 10 SD/MI yang dipilih secara random sampling tersebar di kabupaten mojokerto. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada 10 sekolah, diperoleh data sebagai berikut (1) SDN Windurejo II sarana prasarana baik, motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 66 %; (2) SDI Insan Mulia sarana prasarana sangat baik, motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 36,47 %; (3) SDN Sooko I sarana prasarana sangat baik, motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 71 % ; (4) MI GUPPI 2 sarana prasarana baik, motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 44,44 %; (5) SDN Berat Wetan I sarana prasarana sangat baik, motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 61,66 %; (6) SDI Plus Al-Azhar sarana prasarana baik, motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 81,33 %; (7) SDN Gempolkerep sarana prasarana sangat baik, motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 40 %; (8) SDN Wonorejo I sarana prasarana sangat sangat baik, motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 40 %; (9) SDI Arinal Auna sarana prasarana sangat baik, motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 53,63 %; (10) SDN Temon sarana prasarana sangat baik, motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 80 %. Dari data di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa sarana dan prasarana yang memadai mampu memotivasi belajar siswa di kelas, namun sarana dan prasarana bukan menjadi penentu utama tingginya motivasi belajar siswa, karena ada 4 sekolah dengan sarana dan prasarana yang baik/ sangat baik namun motivasi belajar siswa rendah. Banyak faktor yang memengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa antara lain faktor eksternal dan internal.Kata Kunci: Sarana dan Prasarana, Motivasi Belajar, Kabupaten MojokertoAbstract: This Research aims to describe the contribution of facilities and infrastructure of the learning motivation of elementary students in the northern zone of mojokerto district. The research instruments were questionnaire scale sheets, observation sheets, and interview sheets. The types of data obtained were qualitative data and quantitative data. The objects of this research consists of 10 SD/MI randomly selected in mojokerto district. The research objects are 10 elementary school that were selected randomly from different area of mojokerto district. Based on the results of the analysis at the 10 schools are: (1) The facilities in SDN Windurejo II is good, the students learning motivation is 66%; (2) The facilities in SDI Insan Mulia is very good, the students learning motivation is 36,47 %; (3) The facilities in SDN Sooko I is good, the students learning motivation is 71 %; (4) The facilities in MI GUPPI 2 is good, the students learning motivation is 44,44 %; (5) The facilities in SDN Berat Wetan I is very good, the students learning motivation is 61,66 %; (6) The facilities in SDI Plus Al-Azhar is good, the students learning motivation is 81,33 %; (7) The facilities in SDN Gempolkerep is very good, the students learning motivation is 40 %; (8) The facilities in SDN Wonorejo I is very good, the students learning motivation is 40 %; (9) The facilities in SDI Arinal Auna is good, the students learning motivation is 53,63 %; (10) The facilities in Temon is very good, the students learning motivation is 80 %. From the data, it can be concluded that the adequate facilities and infrastructure are able to motivate student in learning in the classroom. However, the facilities and infrastructure are not the main determinant factor for the students high motivation in learning, since there are 4 elementary school that has very good facilities and infrastructure but the students still have low learning motivation. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar mata Pelajaran IPAS peserta didik kelas 6 SDN Dukuh Kupang I, Surabaya melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang diimplementasikan dalam dua siklus. Dari hasil pengolahan data yang didapatkan, terlihat bahwasannya nilai peserta didik mengalami peningkatan setelah pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan pada siklus I dan II. Pada tahap pra-siklus 73% peserta didik di kelas 6 belum bisa mencapai KKM pada materi energi terbarukan. Kemudian, pada siklus I peserta didik mulai diberikan pembelajaran dengan model PBL dan pendekatan TaRL. Hasil yang diperoleh peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai dibawah rata-rata menurun menjadi 30% dari jumlah seluruh peserta didik di kelas. Setelah dilakukan siklus II, jumlah peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai di bawah KKM semakin menurun menjadi hanya 11% dari 26 peserta didik. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai peserta didik setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan model PBL dan pendekatan TaRL. Selain peningkatan hasil belajar, dengan penggunaan model PBL dan Pendekatan TaRL, peserta didik juga lebih aktif selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Basic education plays a crucial role in shaping students' character, not only in terms of cognitive intelligence but also through the development of spiritual, emotional, social, and moral values in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project. However, in reality, learning in elementary schools often remains monotonous and lacks active student participation, especially in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). This study aims to describe the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model as a strategy to strengthen the collaborative and creative dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through a case study in class IVA at SDN Dukuh Kupang V Surabaya. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results showed that the implementation of the PjBL model using diorama media successfully increased student engagement in the learning process. Group projects fostered a sense of collaboration and creativity among students in understanding the diversity of Indonesian culture. Moreover, this model created a more enjoyable learning atmosphere and improved student motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of digital comic learning media on the material of unity and integrity that can be applied to fifth-grade students at SDN Pakis V Surabaya. This study is a research with Research and Development (R&D) methods, using the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages. These stages include: analysis stage, design stage, development stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. The instruments used in this research include questionnaires and tests. The questionnaires are intended for media experts, material experts, and student responses. The tests consist of pretest assessment sheets and posttest assessment sheets. The trial subjects in this research amount to 29 fifth-grade students of SDN Pakis V Surabaya. The validation results by media experts on the digital comic learning media for the material of unity and oneness obtained a score percentage of 98% with the criterion of 'Very Good.' The validation results by content experts obtained a score percentage of 96% with the criterion of 'Very Good.' Meanwhile, the results of student response assessment obtained a score percentage of 98.43% with the criterion of 'Very Good.' Based on the percentage scores obtained, the media is declared suitable for use. Furthermore, the assessment of student learning outcomes (pretest and posttest) obtained a calculated r of 0.974, which is greater than the table r of 0.367, thus the media is declared effective for use.
