Abstract

Islamic education is deeply rooted in Qur'anic education, which serves as its philosophical foundation, motivating Muslims to engage in the study and memorization of the Qur'an. This paper explores the educational philosophy of TGH. Musthofa Umar Abdul Aziz, a renowned cleric in Lombok and beyond, known for founding the Al-Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School, a center for Qur'anic memorization. Through a qualitative library research approach, the study analyzes TGH. Musthofa's writings and related literature, drawing on perspectives from psychology, sociology, and education. The findings reveal that his Qur'anic education system emphasizes cultivating a generation with a clear understanding of the Qur'an, detailed hadiths, and the practiced sunnah. His educational philosophy starts with memorization, progressing to scholarly development. The educator's role is to guide students who learn to read, memorize, understand, and apply the Qur'an, using methods like Iqro for reading and Talaqqi for memorization. The curriculum and evaluation processes are designed to achieve these objectives, ensuring that Qur'anic education fosters both intellectual and spiritual growth.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh jurusan asal sekolah, prestasi akademik, pilihan jurusan pada jalur SPAN, dan program studi di perguruan tinggi terhadap IPK mahasiswa yang masuk UIN Mataram melalui jalur SPAN. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dan dokumentasi data akademik mahasiswa jalur SPAN di UIN Mataram, meliputi data jurusan asal sekolah menengah, prestasi akademik, pilihan jurusan pada jalur SPAN, program studi di perguruan tinggi, serta IPK mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei dan studi dokumentasi terhadap data akademik resmi institusi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik inferensial, khususnya uji Analisis Varians (ANOVA), untuk mengetahui perbedaan IPK berdasarkan variabel kategoris yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jurusan asal sekolah, prestasi akademik di sekolah, dan pilihan jurusan pada jalur SPAN tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap IPK mahasiswa. Sebaliknya, program studi di perguruan tinggi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap IPK mahasiswa, yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan pencapaian akademik antar program studi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa IPK mahasiswa lebih dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik akademik dan struktur pembelajaran program studi dibandingkan faktor latar belakang sebelum masuk perguruan tinggi. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya manajemen mutu akademik di tingkat program studi serta kehati-hatian dalam menggunakan IPK sebagai satu-satunya indikator keberhasilan akademik lintas program studi. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar untuk mengembangkan kebijakan evaluasi akademik yang lebih kontekstual dan adil di perguruan tinggi. Abstract: This study aims to explain the influence of majors in the school of origin, academic achievement, major choices in the SPAN pathway, and study programs in higher education on the GPA of students entering UIN Mataram through the SPAN pathway. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey type of research. The research instruments are questionnaires and documentation of academic data of SPAN pathway students at UIN Mataram, including data on their high school majors, academic achievement, major choices in the SPAN pathway, study programs at university, and student GPAs. Data collection techniques were carried out through surveys and documentation studies of official institutional academic data. The data analysis technique used was inferential statistical analysis, specifically the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test, to determine the difference in GPA based on the categorical variables studied. The results showed that the original school major, academic achievement in school, and major choice in the SPAN pathway did not have a significant effect on student GPA. Conversely, the study program at the university had a significant effect on student GPAs, indicating differences in academic achievement between study programs. These findings show that student GPAs are more influenced by the academic characteristics and learning structure of the study program than by factors related to their background prior to entering university. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of academic quality management at the study program level and caution in using GPA as a single indicator of academic success across study programs. In addition, the results of this study can be used as a basis for developing more contextual and equitable academic evaluation policies in higher education. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the ability of the scientific attitude of PAI teacher candidates from a gender perspective. A total of 148 prospective teachers of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as a sample in the study conducted consisted of 67 men and 81 women. The sampling technique uses a cluster random sampling technique with a cross-sectional survey research design. Research data were analyzed using t-test different test. Research data collection uses a scientific attitude questionnaire instrument and interview guidelines to obtain data on the scientific attitude of PAI teacher candidates based on gender. The results showed that the scientific attitude of PAI FITK prospective teachers of Mataram State University did not have a significant difference from a gender perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to explore strategies or tips, tactics in carrying out programs that have been designed by the principal so that they can run smoothly. This research is a field research with a phenomenological qualitative approach, data collection is done with techniques; 1. Observation 2. In-depth interviews with informants. 3. Documents. Data analysis techniques were carried out with Miles and Huberman models in Sugiyono: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. While the validity test of the data includes: Test data credibility. The research findings show that in realizing the discipline of students at MA Al-Ijtihad Danger, the principal applies a discipline theory that Reisman and Payne put forward in E. Mulyasa, namely self-concept, communication skills, and has consequences. logical and natural consequences (natural and logical consequences), clarification (values clarification), transactional analysis (transactional analysis), reality therapy (reality therapy), integrated discipline (assertive discipline), behavior modification (behavior modification), disciplinary challenges (dare to discipline). This research concludes that the principal has embodied the discipline of students at MA Al-Ijtihad Danger based on the theory presented by Reisman and Payne in E. Mulyasa but there are still problems in applying the discipline, namely the DO (Drop Out) conducted by the principal there should be coaching conducted by the principal for students who violate so they do not do DO. Keywords: Strategy, Principal, Student Discipline Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengali strategi atau kiat, taktik dalam menjalankan program-progam yang sudah dirancang oleh kepala sekolah supaya bisa berjalan lancar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi, pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tehnik (1). Observasi (2). Wawancara mendalam dengan informan. (3). Dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman: data collection, data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Sedangkan uji keabsahan data meliputi: Perpanjangan penelitian dan triangulasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam mewujudukan kedisiplinan peserta didik di MA Al-Ijtihad Danger, kepala sekolah menerapkan teori kedisiplinan yang dikemukan oleh Reisman dan Payne dalam E. Mulyasa yaitu konsep diri (self-concept), ketrampilan berkomunikasi (communication skill), memberikan konsekuensi-konsekuensi logis dan alami (natural and logical consequences), klarifikasi nilai (values clarification), analisis transaksional (transactional analysis), terapi realitas (reality therapy), disiplin yang terintegrasi (assertive discipline), modifikasi perilaku (behavior modification), melakukan tantangan kedisiplinan (dare to discipline). Peniliti ini menyimpukan bahwa kepala sekolah sudah mewujudkan kedisiplinan peserta didik di MA Al-Ijtihad Danger dengan berdasarkan teori yang dikemukan oleh Reisman dan Payne dalam E. Mulyasa tetapi masih ada masalah dalam penerapan kedisiplinan tersebut yaitu adanya DO (Drop Out) yang dilakukan kepala sekolah yang seharusnya ada pembinaan yang dilakukan kepala sekolah untuk peserta didik yang melanggar sehingga tidak melakukan DO. Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between the use of the school library and reading interest on student learning outcomes at MA AL-Ijtihad Danger. This research was quantitative research with a survey method. The population was taken from 116 students (class XII), while the sample was 58 students. Data collection techniques used in this study include questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The test in this study included the normality test, linearity test and multicolliniearity test. The hypothesis test uses hypothesis testing, namely simple and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that 1) there was a positiv and significant relationship between the use of the school library and the learning outcomes of class XII IPS MA AL-Ijtihad Danger students, this was evidenced by the t count value greater than t table (3,556 > 1,673) and significance value of 0.001, which means less than 0,05 (0,001 < 0,05). 2) There is a positive and significant relationship between reading interest and student learning outcomes in class XII IPS MA AL-Ijtihad Danger, this is evidenced by the t count value greater that t table (3,648 > 1,673) and a significance value of 0,001, which means less than 0,05 (0,001 < 0,05). 3) There is a positive and significant relationship between the use of the school library and reading interest on the learning outcomes of class XII IPS MA AL-Ijtihad Danger students, this is evidenced by the calculated F value of (10,917 > 3,16) and significance value of 0,000 which means less than 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Keywords: Library Utilization, Reading Interest, Learning Outcomes Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan hubungan pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah dan minat baca terhadap hasil belajar siswa di MA AL-Ijtihad Danger. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi diambil dari seluruh siswa kelas XII sebanyak 116, adapun sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 58 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diataranya adalah angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pengujian prasyarat analisis pada penelitian ini meliputi uji normalitas, uji linieritas dan uji multikoloneritas. Abstract

This study uses the literature review method (Library Research) to collect data from relevant literature, such as scientific journals, books, magazines, and other documents. This study focuses on a content study approach to analyze data in detail based on print media and informatics media such as ebooks. The results of the study show that digital transformation has a significant influence on people's mindsets and behavior in the context of religious moderation in Indonesia. The development of digital technology, such as the internet, social media, and online communication platforms, has changed the way people interact, access information, and form religious identities. However, digital transformation also carries risks in the context of religious moderation. The spread of extremist and provocative content on online platforms can influence people's mindsets and behavior. In the Indonesian context, digital transformation also opens up opportunities for preachers, especially young people, to disseminate da'wah content digitally. The government, educational institutions, religious communities and social media platforms need to work together to strengthen religious moderation in the digital era. Therefore, digital transformation has a complex impact on religious moderation in Indonesia. With good social media literacy and digital literacy, as well as collaborative efforts between various parties, it is hoped that religious moderation can be strengthened in facing challenges and taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the digital era Keywords: Digital Transformation, Religious Moderation, Ummatan Wasathan Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian pustaka (Library Research) untuk mengumpulkan data dari literatur yang relevan, seperti jurnal ilmiah, buku, majalah, dan dokumen lainnya. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada pendekatan kajian isi untuk menganalisis data secara mendetail berdasarkan media cetak dan media informatika seperti ebook. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi digital memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pola pikir dan perilaku masyarakat dalam konteks moderasi beragama di Indonesia. Perkembangan teknologi digital, seperti internet, media sosial, dan platform komunikasi online, telah mengubah cara masyarakat berinteraksi, mengakses informasi, dan membentuk identitas keagamaan. Namun, transformasi digital juga membawa risiko dalam konteks moderasi beragama. Penyebaran konten ekstremis dan provokatif di platform online dapat mempengaruhi pola pikir dan perilaku masyarakat. Dalam konteks Indonesia, transformasi digital juga membuka peluang bagi para pendakwah, terutama dari kalangan pemuda, untuk menyebarkan konten dakwah secara digital. Pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, komunitas agama, dan platform media sosial perlu bekerja sama dalam memperkuat moderasi beragama di era digital. Oleh kerena itu,  transformasi digital memiliki dampak kompleks terhadap moderasi beragama di Indonesia. Dengan literasi media sosial dan literasi digital yang baik, serta upaya kolaboratif antara berbagai pihak, diharapkan moderasi beragama dapat diperkuat dalam menghadapi tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang yang ditawarkan oleh era digital.
