Abstract

The purpose of this research was to recognize the crumb rubber marketing, price transmission, dan market integration in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The research used survey method to collect primary and secondary data. The analysis instruments used were margin and multiple regression analyses with refer to Nerlove Model. The results showed that the best efficient rubber crum channel was found on markeitng channel which was done by farmers joined together into cooperative marketing group by action system. The elasticity value of price at farmer level transmission showed that price was enough response on price changes in trader level in long term as well as short term. The price response at trader level that was resulted by price changes at the fabric level in long term as well as short term was good. Nevertheless, price at the fabric level was not responsive on price changes of FOB in long term as well as short term. Analysis of market integration showed that market at farmer and trader levels was integrated perfectly in which price changes on one market will be followed by other markets with the same proportion. Althought market structure directed to oligopsony form, transaction process showed more clearly on perfect competition market. It is because the good relationship between farmer and trader. The godd integrattion market was also occurred between market at trader level and market at the fabric

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of product quality and TV advertising on purchasing decisions for Pepsodent Sensitive Expert in Padang Panjang City. The number of respondents used as a sample size is 100 respondents. This type of research is associative research. The results of this study indicate that product quality and TV advertising partially have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Pepsodent Sensitive Expert in Padang Panjang City. Simultaneously, product quality and television advertising positively and significantly affect purchasing decisions for Pepsodent Sensitive Expert in Padang Panjang City, with an R2 value of 86.1%..

Abstract

Setiap wilayah yang ada di Indonesia memiliki kondisi geografis dan kondisi sosial yang berbeda -  beda sehingga membuat struktur perekonomian setiap daerah yang ada tidak sama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan sektor perekonomian unggulan di wilayah Kota Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari PDRB Kota Padangsidimpuan dan Provinsi Sumatera Utara dari tahun 2003 – 2021.. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu analisis Tipologi Klassen, analisis Location Quotient (LQ) dan analisis Shift Share. Hasil analisis Location Quotient (LQ) tahun 2003 – 2012 yaitu Sektor Perdagangan, Hotel dan Restauran, Sektor Pengangkutan dan Komunikasi, Sektor Keuangan, Persewaan dan Jasa Perusahaan dan Sektor Jasa – Jasa. Tahun 2013 – 2017 yaitu yaitu Sektor Bangunan, Sektor Perdagangan, Hotel dan Restauran, Sektor Pengangkutan dan Komunikasi, Sektor Keuangan, Persewaan dan Jasa Perushaan dan Sektor Jasa – Jasa dan tahun 2018 – 2021 yaitu Sektor Listrik, Gas dan Air Minum, Sektor Perdagangan, Hotel dan Restauran, Sektor Pengankutan dan Komunikasi, Sektor Keuangan, Persewaan dan Jasa Perusahaan dan Sektor Jasa – Jasa. Hasil analisis Shift Share menunjukkan sektor dengan laju pertumbuhan dan daya saing yang baik adalah  Sektor  Keuangan, Persewaan dan Jasa Perusahaan, Sektor Bangunan, Sektor Listrik, Gas dan Air Minum dan Sektor Perdagangan, Hotel dan Restauran. Hasil analisis Tipologi Klassen menunjukkan sektor yang maju dan tumbuh pesat yaitu Sektor tersier dalam perekonomian, yaitu sektor yang bergerak dibidang jasa.. Hasil dari tiga alat analisis yang digunakan dan berdasarkan hasil analisis persektor maka kesimpulannya adalah sektor yang merupakan sektor unggulan di Kota Padangsidimpuan adalah sektor – sektor tersier, artinya sektor yang bergerak dibidang jasa

Abstract

There are several problems found in this research, such the material used by teacher was not related to the major, textbook for students was not provide the material related to their major, and the material only taken from the internet by teacher randomly. This research is research and development which uses the theory of Sugiyono. The stages in this development are research, developing, validation, and testing. The subjects in this study were 36 students from the tenth grade of Computer and Network Engineering. The need analysis shows, students want to learn reading material that is related to their major and useful when they work after graduation. For validation by expert, the English reading material is categorized as "Very Valid" with the percentage score obtained is 83%. The practical results that have been given to teacher and students, the English reading material is categorized as "Very Practice" with score 92%. And the last, the effectiveness of the English reading material is effective, it gets a significant value of 0.00 which is <0.05,it means that the English reading material is effective. So overall, the developing of English reading material is accordance with the needs of students majoring in computer and network engineering.

Abstract

This research was done due to several problems on the students’ ability and impact to the score in reading comprehension.The first problem because the students do their task alone, the second problem the students had low motivation to read the text, the last problem the students felt bored with learning model used. The researher expected wether the power of two strategy is able to give significant effect on students’ reading comprehension. This research was an experimental research. The researcher chose quasi experimental design by using the experimental class and control class. The population of this research was 1th grade of SMA N 1 Pangkalan. The sample was X MIPA 1 which was as treated experimental class and X MIPA 2 was treated as control class. To determine the sample, the researcher used cluster sampling because the class have similar characteristic in score of reading test and have similar problems in reading comprehension.The researcher used the reading test as instrument.To analyzed the data, the researcher used Liliefors test for normality test. Then to test the hypothesis, the researcher used t-test and Based on the analysis of the data, the result was also indicated by the mean of experimental class pre-test score which was 60.36. It was higher than the control class pre-test score which was 49.29. The result was also indicated by the mean of experimental class post-test score which was 85.86. It was higher than the control class post-test score which was 61.86. It meant there was significant effect of using the power of two strategy on students reading comprehension. It was concluded that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. The students who were taught by using the power of two strategy better than the students who were not taught by using the power of two strategy. To sum up, the power of two strategy has a significant effect on students reading comprehension on descriptive text at 1th grade of SMA N 1 Pangkalan.

Abstract

Masa balita merupakan masa yang ditandai dengan proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang sangat pesat. Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara di dunia dengan kasus kekurangan gizi pada anak balita yang tinggi bila dibandingkan dengan  ambang batas yang ditetapkan WHO. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan status gizi pada balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Muara Labuh. Penelitian  dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Muara Labuh Kabupaten Solok Selatan. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Maret 2024. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu dan anak balitanya dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 159 orang dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik proporionate stratified random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji Chi square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 43.4% responden memiliki status gizi buruk dan lebih dari separuh 64.2% responden memiliki pola makan kurang baik, lebih dari separuh yaitu 58.5% tingkat pengetahuan ibu rendah, lebih dari separuh yaitu 62.3% pendapatan orang tua rendah. Ada hubungan pola makan, tingkat pengetahuan dan pendapatan orang tua dengan status gizi pada balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Muara Labuh (p=0,000). Perlu meningkatkan sumber informasi untuk ibu balita tentang kejadian status gizi pada anak dan faktor penyebab melalui penyuluhan kesehatan secara berkala atau menempelkan poster di puskesmas tentang pentingnya pemeriksaan status gizi pada anak balita.  Kata Kunci :  Pengetahuan; pendapatan; pola makan; status gizi.

Abstract

Neonatal jaundice is a common problem in the care of normal newborns. West Pasaman Regional Hospital data states that in 2018 there were 41 cases of neonatal jaundice out of 369 deliveries. The research objective was to determine the effect of exclusive breastfeeding and phototherapy on the incidence of neonatal jaundice. The research method is retrospective, namely conducting research on past events. The research was conducted at RSUD Pasaman Barat with a population of 20 people. Sampling was done by total sampling technique, so that the sample size is 20 people. Data collection was carried out by means of observation at the West Pasaman Regional Hospital. The approach used is cross sectional, namely independent and dependent data collection is done at the same time. The data that has been collected is then processed manually and analyzed by computerized univariate and bivariate analysis. This type of research is descriptive with a cross sectional design. The study population was all babies in West Pasaman Regional Hospital with a total of 41 people, the sample size was determined by the total sampling so that the sample was 41 people. The data was collected by means of a documentation study using a checklist. Data processing was carried out by univariate computerization. The results showed that as many as 13 respondents (31.7%) were breast-fed, 63.4% were carried out with phototherapy and 24.4% of respondents had neonatal jaundice. Based on the bivariate analysis obtained p value 0.049 (Breastfeeding) and 0.001 (Phototherapy). The results of the Chi Square test, it can be concluded that there is an effect of breastfeeding and phototherapy on the incidence of neonatal jaundice

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine matters related to the variables studied. The objectives of this research are, 1) To determine the influence of financial performance and capital structure on company value, 2) To determine the influence of capital structure on company value, 3) To determine the influence of financial performance on company value and disclosure of corporate social responsibility as a moderating variable in manufacturing companies, and 4) To determine the effect of capital structure on company value and disclosure of corporate social responsibility as a moderating variable in manufacturing companies listed on the BEI in 2018-2022. The sample for this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2018-2022 which were selected using a purposive sampling method with predetermined criteria. In this research, panel data regression analysis was carried out using the E-EVews 12 software program. The results of this research are, 1) Financial Performance partially has a positive and significant effect on Company Value in Manufacturing Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022, 2) Capital Structure has no partial effect on Company Value in Manufacturing Companies on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022, 3) Financial Performance does not have a significant effect on Company Value which is partially moderated by Corporate Social Responsibility in Manufacturing Companies on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2018-2022, and 4) Capital Structure partially does not has a significant effect on Company Value which is moderated by Corporate Social Responsibility in Manufacturing Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022.

Abstract

Prepositions were part of grammar used in speaking, listening, reading and writing. In learning English, the students must be able to grasp the meaning. There were several problems that the researcher found in the process of learning English at seventh grade of MTSN 6 Agam. There first problem was the students did not know the meaning of the prepositions. The second problem was that students still found difficulties to distinguish preposition in arranging the sentence correctly. In fact, prepositions are of several types. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to find out how the students’ ability in using prepositions within descriptive text and which types of prepositions are most frequently misused by students’ in descriptive text. This research was a quantitative research. The population of this research was seventh grade students at MTSN 6 Agam which consists of 10 classes with total students 329, meanwhile the sample of this research 76 students. In this research, the researcher used purposive sampling. Instrument of this research was a test. The data had been of this research obtained, then analyzed, to find the percentage of ability. Regarding the result of the data analysis, the conclusion were types of prepositions are most frequently misused by students were prepositions place with 265 misused, and related to the second research question found that, students ability in using preposition within descriptive text have categories is sufficient 65%.

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out the correlation between students’ interest in English teaching topics and their learning achievement at 11th grade of SMA N 1 2X11 Enam Lingkung. This study used correlational design. The sample was the XI F 1 and XI F 3 which consisted of 64 students which selected by using cluster random sampling technique. The technique data collection was questionnaire and students’ achievement test scores. The researcher developed 20 statement of questionnaire based on Arlianty (2016) and students’ achievement test scores were from the mid - term test that had been carried out by teacher at school. Analysis the data was using Pearson’s Product Moment. Based on the data analysis conducted, a correlation coefficient of 0.693 was obtained. The magnitude between these variables was moderate because it lies between the interpretation of 0.40 – 0.699. It means that there is a significant correlation between these variables. So, higher students’ interest in English teaching topics are associated with higher their learning achievement, whereas lower students’ interest in English teaching topics corresponds to lower learning achievement.
