Abstract

During the online learning period, there are obstacles to learning mathematics that affect students' mathematical literacy skills. Therefore, this study aims to find out how to improve mathematical literacy during online learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a literature review type. The findings reveal that there are many approaches to improve mathematical literacy. However, the researcher only considered several options, namely by increasing the role of the teacher by increasing knowledge related to students' mathematical literacy skills. Then use High Order Thinking learning, because it includes not only numeracy skills but also how to apply mathematics to solve problems in everyday life and how to communicate them. Then, using the Brain-Based Learning learning strategy because there are steps that train curiosity which will stimulate the ability to investigate and interpret mathematical problems in various contexts. As well as using the Blended Learning learning model because it uses internet-based learning to make teaching materials more accessible and accessible at any time. That means, students can communicate with teachers online outside of class hours

Abstract

This study aims to describe the curriculum and learning tradition developed by scholars in South Sumatra in the 20th century. The significance of this research is in addition to exploring the treasures of local Islamic education, it is also deemed necessary to look at the pattern of continuity and the model of continuity of the design of the Islamic education curriculum in the twentieth century with the traditions of Islamic education in the past. By using a descriptive qualitative research approach through optimizing documentary data searches, interviews, and observations of data sources that can still be traced in the form of works by 20th century clerical figures, relics in the form of pesantren and madrasa, as well as family and close relatives of the characters, which allows research accurately reveals the main problems of research. Through qualitative data analysis, this study presents important findings.First, 20th-century South Sumatra scholars represented by K.H. Anwar and K.H. Muhammad Zen Syukri has perpetuated the mainstream design of the curriculum of classical Islamic education with an emphasis on teaching the content of the fields of study of Aqidah, Islamic law, History, Sufism/Tasawuf, and Arabic. Curriculum innovation is carried out at the level of modification of the material presentation model through the writing of reference textbooks which are summarized from the main books in the classical education curriculum. Second, the learning traditions of students and local Muslims still maintain traditional learning models in the form of sorogan and bandongan besides adopting a modern classical education model. The local learning tradition in the form of majelistaklim and cawisan still seems to be maintained in the case of Islamic teaching in the local moslemcommunity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the curriculum and Islamic learning model in the Palembang Sultanate Palace. This research is important because it reveals the history of the curriculum and learning traditions among the relatives of the palace which has long been known to be very effective in forming a cadre of productive scholars from among the relatives of the palace. By using a social history approach to Islamic education, this research can reveal several important issues, namely to reaffirm the research explanation that the phenomenon of learning in the palace environment took the form that was commonly practiced in the Islamic education tradition at that time in the form of applying a learning model using lecturing and question and answer strategies. Furthermore, the structure of the education curriculum in the palace environment includes areas of Islamic scholarship such as aqidah, al-Qur'an, interpretation, hadith, dates, fiqh, Arabic, and Sufism. The last field, namely Sufism, is a nuance that characterizes Islamic teaching in the Palembang palace environment. All relatives of the Palembang palace who were taught by the teaching scholars in the "palace school" environment of the Palembang palace were adherents of the Sammaniyah order. From the aspect of implementation of learning in the Palembang palace, the individual and group learning models are quite dominant with an emphasis on the role model and the example of the teaching scholars in the palace environment. The students consisting of relatives of the palace were very familiar with the pattern of education by prioritizing the morals of Sufism. The education model in the palace is very effective in shaping the intellectual tradition and maintaining the continuity of the function and role of the clergy in Palembang, which is dominated by scholars who come from among the relatives of the palace. This pattern of sustainability is then able to preserve the tradition of teaching Islam in the Palembang area and even to various rural areas in the South Sumatra region.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi memunculkan disrupsi pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pimpinan PTKIS Sumatera Selatan terhadap fenomena disrupsi Pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa para pimpinan PTKIS di Sumatera Selatan menyadari adanya pergeseran dalam sistem pendidikan Islam dan munculnya lembaga pendidikan full digital. Namun mereka tidak merasa khawatir karena sistem pendidikan dan lembaga pendidikan daring atau full digital dianggap bukan sebagai gangguan. Sehingga respon adaptif dan antisipatif belum dilakukan sepenuhnya. Perlu upaya lebih lanjut yang dilakukan untuk mempertahankan eksistensi dan esensi pendidikan Islam di PTKIS yaitu dengan menerapkan langkah strategis mulai dari identifikasi kekuatan dari hadirnya lembaga pendidikan daring atau full digital dengan seperangkat sistemnya, identifikasi efektifitas dan efisiensi inovasi yang dilakukan, dan  tetrakhir evaluasi menyeluruh yang mampu membantu pendidikan Islam di PTKIS dari disrupter’s berupa regulasi, demografi, dan masyarakat. Dari hasil evaluasi tersebut selanjutnya melakukan perbaikan dan inovasi berkelanjutan dari berbagai unsur pendidikan mulai dari peningkatan kompetensi SDM, pengembangan kurikulum, inovasi sistem pembelajaran, peningkatan sarana dan prasarana, serta perbaikan sistem pengelolaan PTKIS.

Abstract

Development is a process in every growth in an individual child. Its initial development shows a change according to the age of the child. in every change it is hoped that it will show an ideal development process like in other child growth periods. So that not a few parents are worried about the growth and development of children, especially at the vulnerable age of 6-12 years. Because at this age children will experience a process of development that looks active in their daily life. There are approximately seven developmental phases experienced by elementary school age children, but this study aims to determine the language and social development of elementary school age children. The type of research used is a literature study with a qualitative research approach. And there are two kinds of data sources used to write this article, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. Primary data sources, the authors use primary journal references in writing articles, namely Latifa's journal on Aspects of Development in Elementary School Children and secondary data sources the authors use from various journals and other books that contain material related to language and social development in the elementary school age phase of children. The findings in this study indicate that children develop rapidly at elementary school age, namely language and social development. This development is not the same from one child to another. Many factors can influence these developments, including factors in the family environment and school environment. With the existence of research on this development, it can be used as a reference for teachers to carry out learning in schools and to see problems that occur in schools. Thus it can be a solution for teachers to overcome problems in learning and child development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the construction of Islamic education thought in Jalaluddin's perspective and the relevance of Jalaluddin's educational thought in the constellation of modern or global education. This type of research is library research. The approach used is descriptive analytical. The primary sources used are books and information in the field related to Jalaluddin's Islamic education thought. While secondary sources are reports, books, notes that are closely related to the problem under study. Data collection methods through documentation. The data analysis technique uses document analysis method or content analysis. This study found that the thought of Islamic education in Jalaluddin's perspective includes 1) the new direction of Islamic education, education should be directed to form humans into insan kamil; 2) Islamic education thinking, one of which is the democratization of Islamic education with the ultimate goal of forming a democratic, clean, moral and moral Indonesian society and adhering to the value of civilization, 3) renewal of Islamic education, in Islamic education it is necessary to develop a dual approach strategy with the aim of combining short-term situational approaches with long-term conceptual approaches; and 4) character education, four joints of good character based on the characters of patience, self-respect, courage, and justice.

Abstract

Pemilihan metode yang tepat dapat membuat siswa tidak cepat bosan belajar. Metode merupakan suatu proses sistematis dan teratur yang dilakukan guru dalam menyampaikan materi pada siswa. Tidak ada pembelajaran yang tidak menggunakan metode, sebab metode memiliki peranan penting dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran agar proses penyampaian ilmu dan materi dapat berjalan lancar dan efektif. Penelitian ini dengan judul “Penerapan Metode Kitabah Dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Hafalan Santriwati Kelas XI di Madrasah Aliyah Al-Furqon Prabumulih”. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini merupakan salah satu jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang sangat kuat mengukur hubungan sebab akibat. Selanjutnya metode pengumpulan data dengan cara tes lisan dan dokumentasi, teknik analisis data menggunakan metode statistik tes “T” untuk dua sampel kecil yang satu sama lain saling berhubungan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas hafalan santriwati Kelas XI sebelum diterapkan metode kitabah yang tergolong tinggi sebanyak 8 santriwati atau (33,33%), yang tergolong sedang sebanyak 9 santriwati atau (37,5%), dan yang tergolong rendah sebanyak 7 santriwati atau (29,17%). Kualitas hafalan santriwati setelah diterapkan metode kitabah yang tergolong tinggi sebanyak 9 santriwati atau (37,5%), yang tergolong sedang sebanyak 12 santriwati atau (50%), dan yang tergolong rendah sebanyak 3 santriwati atau (12,5%). Kemudian, terdapat perbedaan kualitas hafalan santriwati Kelas XI di Madrasah Aliyah Al-Furqon Prabumulih antara sebelum diterapkan metode kitabah dan sesudah diterapkan metode kitabah. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode kitabah dapat meningkatkan kualitas hafalan santriwati Kelas XI di Madrasah Aliyah Al-Furqon Prabumulih.

Abstract

Perkembangan peserta didik tidak lepas dari hakikat perkembangan manusia itu sendiri. Manusia ialah makhluk ciptaan Allah SWT yang di dalam diri individu terdapat tiga unsur, yakni jasadiyah, aqliyah, dan ruhiyah. Perkembangan manusia merupakan suatu perubahan kontinuitas yang dialami oleh suatu individu dalam proses menuju kedewasaan yang terjadi secara sistematis, progresif, dan berkesinambungan. Perkembangan manusia dimulai dari masa konsepsi, bayi, kanak-kanak, remaja, dewasa, hingga masa tua. Remaja akhir ialah masa perubahan dari fase remaja ke fase dewasa, hal tersebut merupakan proses yang cukup lama dimana ditunjukkan pada saat individu menginjak umur 17-22 tahun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, studi literatur. Artikel ini membahas tentang hakikat masa remaja akhir, sifat dan sikap masa remaja akhir, ciri-ciri masa remaja akhir, tugas perkembangan masa remaja akhir, perkembangan remaja akhir, dan implikasi dalam bidang pendidikan perkembangan masa remaja akhir.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implikasi teori pemrosesan informasi menurut tokoh Robert M. Gagne di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan dengan cara penelaahan secara kritis dan mendalam terhadap bahan pustaka yang relevan dengan bahan makalah seperti buku dan jurnal yang layak dijadikan referensi. Teori pemrosesan informasi adalah model pembelajaran yang menitikberatkan pada aktivitas yang terkait dengan kegiatan proses atau pengolahan informasi untuk meningkatkan kapasitas siswa melalui proses pembelajaran. Model pemrosesan informasi ini didasari oleh teori belajar kognitif dan berorientasi pada kemampuan peserta didik memproses informasi yang dapat memperbaiki kemampuannya. Teori ini merupakan teori yang mengarahkan bagaimana mendapatkan maupun menerima menunjuk bagaimana cara menyatukan maupun menerima stimulus dalam lingkungan, mengatur atau menyusun data, pemecahan permasalahan, mengetahui konsep, maupun memakai tanda-tanda verbal dan tidak verbal. Dengan adanya teori pemrosesan informasi ini merupakan pembelajaran yang mengutamakan untuk kegiatan mengenai dengan setiap proses pada bagian pengelolahan informasi agar meningkatnya kompetensi peserta didik dengan tahap demi tahap dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Manusia adalah makhluk yang kompleks. Segala yang ada pada manusia dapat dilihat pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya, baik fisik maupun psikisnya. Dalam Al-Qur’an dijelaskan proses perkembangan janin melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu sulalah, nutfah, alaqah, Mudhgah, Izam dan Lahm, didalam ilmu pengetahuan juga di jelaskan perkembangan janin. Setiap hari selama 9 bulan 10 hari perkembangan janin sangatlah penting untuk menghasilkan bayi yang sehat. Gen yang diturunkan ayah dan ibu bayi menentukan semua ciri-ciri fisik dan juga kelainan. Beberapa penelitian menyatakan bahwa watak mungkin mempunyai dasar biologis. Kesehatan ibu dan asupan gizinya, baik sebelum dan selam kehamilan, sangat berpengaruh terhadap kelahiran bayi yang sehat. Dukungan perhatian dari ayah dan ibu selama masa kehamilan juga mendorong perkembangan calon bayi. Faktor penentu terhadap keberhasilan pendidikan anak adalah adanya seorang ibu shalihah yang memahami peran dan tugasnya, serta mampu menjalankannya dengan sempurna. Itulah pilar utama dalam pendidikan anak. Peranan mereka bahkan tetap terukir dalam sejarah, karena dari tangan merekalah lahir putra-putri terbaik yang mampu membawa perbaikan masyarakat dan memandu umat ini menuju kebaikan dan kekuatan.
