Abstract

CV Expressa faces problems in budget management due to a slow manual process, less transparent, and vulnerable to errors. This study aims to design a web -based budgeting information system to improve efficiency and accuracy. System development uses the SDLC Waterfall method (Analysis of Needs, Design, Implementation, Testing, Maintenance) with Laravel Technology (PHP) and PostgreSQL Database. Features include budget submission, tiered approval, reporting, and audit trail. Blackbox testing test results show all functions run optimally, supported by automatic notifications and printed reports. This system is proven to speed up the process, reduce errors, and increase budget transparency at CV Expressa

Abstract

Choosing the right cat food is often an obstacle for Giant Pet shop customers due to the many product variations and monotonous recommendations from sellers. This study designs a mobile application-based cat food recommendation system by implementing a knowledge-based method and a constraint-based approach. The system allows users to receive product suggestions based on brand attributes, taste, cat age, weight, price, and type of food. Data collection was carried out through literature studies and direct observations at Giant Pet shop, with system development following the waterfall model including needs analysis, UML design, and implementation. The results of the system test showed very good performance with a precision of 88.90% which proves the accuracy of recommendations according to user criteria, and a recall of 100% which shows completeness in displaying all relevant products. These results confirm that the system can help and make it easier for users to find products that suit their needs.

Abstract

Sustainability issues have encouraged companies to increase transparency through Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)-based reporting. However, the existence of sustainability reports does not necessarily reflect real sustainability practices. This study aims to examine the effect of GRI Compliance on firm value and evaluate the role of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Score as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data from 224 non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Bursa Malaysia during the period 2021–2023. Multiple linear regression models with moderation analysis are used to test the relationship between variables. The results show that GRI Compliance has a positive effect on firm value in both countries. However, ESG Score only acts as a significant moderator in Malaysia, while in Indonesia its role is not significant. This finding indicates that the effectiveness of ESG Score as a sustainability signal booster is greatly influenced by the level of regulatory development and market understanding of sustainability. Thus, companies in developing countries need to not only improve the quality of sustainability reporting but also strengthen ESG implementation to gain market recognition. This study provides important implications for regulators and business actors in designing sustainability reporting policies and strategies that are more accountable and have an impact on firm value. This research also strengthens the urgency of adopting ESG Score as a credible external assessment tool.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and document the barikan tradition in Kebonadem Village as a form of preserving local wisdom which has social, spiritual and educational values. The problem faced is the decreasing interest of the younger generation in preserving this tradition amidst the strong current of modernization. This raises concerns that this tradition, which has been passed down from generation to generation, will be eroded by more popular foreign culture. The urgency of this research lies in the importance of understanding and maintaining the values contained in the Barikan tradition so that it remains relevant and can be passed on to future generations. The research results show that the Barikan tradition not only functions as an annual ritual, but also as a tool to strengthen social ties and deepen people's faith, especially in teaching children the values of togetherness, mutual help and respect for tradition. This tradition, despite facing the challenges of modernization, remains an integral part of the life of the people of Kebonadem Village, connecting the past, present and future, and enriching local cultural identity.

Abstract

Hujan merupakan fenomena turunnya air ke permukaan bumi. Hujan juga merupakan bagian dari siklus biologis dan terbentuk dari penguapan air laut dan air darat yang naik dari permukaan bumi, dibawa ke atmosfer oleh angin, kemudian mengembun dan akhirnya jatuh ke daratan atau permukaan. Pergantian musim yang tidak stabil mengakibatkan cuaca sulit untuk diprediksi. Kondisi ini menjadi masalah utama bagi masyarakat yang sedang menjemur pakaian terutama pada saat cuaca buruk. Biasanya jika hendak berpergian, pakaian yang basah akan dijemur didalam rumah agar tidak terkena hujan. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan pakaian lembap menjadi berbau serta membutuhkan waktu yang lama agar dapat kering.Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan sebuah rancangan jemuran otomatis yang dapat menggerakan jemuran apabila terdeteksi turun hujan maupun kondisi cuaca tertentu. Jemuran otomatis ini dikembangkan dengan metode prototyping menggunakan Node MCU, sensor hujan, sensor cahaya, sensor DHT22, motor servo dan menggunakan aplikasi Blynk untuk memantau nilai masing-masing sensor serta menggerakkan jemuran secara manual.  Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, jemuran akan bergerak ke dalam apabila sensor hujan mendeteksi adanya air dan sensor cahaya mendeteksi cahaya matahari menjadi redup. Lalu, jemuran juga akan bergerak ke dalam apabila sensor cahaya mendeteksi cahaya matahari menjadi redup serta sensor DHT22 mendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban yang semakin rendah. Jemuran akan bergerak ke luar apabila cahaya semakin terang, suhu dan kelembaban meningkat serta sudah tidak ada air yang terdeteksi pada sensor hujan. Jemuran juga dapat digerakkan secara manual menggunakan aplikasi Blynk. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan, bahwa parameter untuk menggerakkan jemuran otomatis, bukan hanya terletak turunnya hujan, namun intensitas cahaya, suhu dan kelembaban juga merupakan parameter untuk menggerakan jemuran tersebut.
