Abstract

Critical education is education that is able to free from ignorance, poverty, oppression, and lift the condition of the subject from the pits of oppression and helplessness, both human and environmental. Freedom to learn is an idea where the educational paradigm is not confined and has a meaning that is freer than the freedom of life. The purpose of this study is to describe a critical educational analysis of the policy of independent campus learning in Indonesia. The research methodology used is library research, using the following steps: knowing and finding out the type of library needed, reading the type of library needed, conducting an assessment, presenting the results of the literature study. The sources of this research are research journals, books and the internet. The results showed that the campus policy of independent learning, independent learning supports the realization of critical education. This can be seen from the programs launched in the policy where students are required to be creative, critical and dare to apply their knowledge in a real form. Students voluntarily (can take or not) to get their rights such as internships.

Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in software development has revolutionized the industry, leading to faster and more accurate results. However, the implementation of AI requires a robust framework to ensure effective planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of AI-enabled software systems. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) provides such a framework, enabling organizations to develop a structured and integrated approach to AI-enabled software development. In this journal, we present a case study of how a software house utilized the TOGAF framework to integrate AI in their software development processes. We discuss the challenges faced by the organization in the integration process and how the TOGAF framework provided a structured approach to overcome these challenges. We also highlight the benefits that the organization realized through the implementation of AI-enabled software systems. The case study presented in this journal demonstrates the applicability of the TOGAF framework in AI-enabled software development, and its potential to enhance the capabilities and competitiveness of software houses. The TOGAF framework provides a structured approach to the integration of AI in software development, ensuring that organizations can effectively leverage the benefits of AI while minimizing the associated risks and challenges.

Abstract

Digital transformation has significantly impacted Indonesia's banking industry, leading to the rise of digital banks that leverage technology for their operations, posing challenges to traditional banking models. This research investigates the implementation of enterprise architecture within the core features of digital banking in Indonesia, utilizing the TOGAF framework and Archimate modeling. The study's primary objective is to identify the core processes, challenges, and opportunities associated with managing the complex architecture of digital banks. Employing a qualitative methodology, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and a review of pertinent literature. The research identified three central processes in digital banking operations: deposits, time deposits, and loans. These processes were then modeled using the TOGAF framework and Archimate to align business strategies with operational activities more effectively. The SWOT analysis conducted highlights digital banks' strengths in operational efficiency, strategic partnerships, and innovation capabilities, while also recognizing weaknesses such as technological dependency and challenges in serving the less tech-savvy population. The study also identifies opportunities for product innovation, market expansion, and ecosystem integration. However, threats like regulatory changes, increased competition, and cybersecurity risks must be carefully managed. The research recommends adopting emerging technologies, enhancing third-party risk management, and improving customer data security and privacy to bolster digital banks' global competitiveness, operational sustainability, and service innovation.

Abstract

This article aims to evaluate the impact of long-range pursuit programs using the Disscrepancy Model, developed by Malcolm Provus. Emphasizes the view of gaps in program implementation. The word discrepancy means gap, this model according to Madaus, Sriven & Stufflebeam (1993: 79-99) departs from the assumption that to find out the feasibility of a program, evaluators can compare what should be expected to happen (standard) with what actually happens (performance). . Comparing the two things, it can be seen whether there is a gap (discrepancy), namely the standard set with the actual performance. This model was developed by Malcolm Provus, aims to analyze a program whether the program is worth continuing, increasing, or terminating. teaching evaluation is a component in the teaching system, while the teaching system itself is an implementation of the curriculum, as an effort to create classroom learning. Oemar Hamalik (2001: 145) states, the evaluation process is generally student-centered. This means that evaluation is intended to observe student learning outcomes and seeks to determine how learning opportunities are. From the two opinions above, the evaluation is intended to observe a teaching process, which includes the role of the teacher, teaching strategies, curriculum materials, and learning principles applied to teaching.
