Abstract

This article aims to evaluate the impact of long-range pursuit programs using the Disscrepancy Model, developed by Malcolm Provus. Emphasizes the view of gaps in program implementation. The word discrepancy means gap, this model according to Madaus, Sriven & Stufflebeam (1993: 79-99) departs from the assumption that to find out the feasibility of a program, evaluators can compare what should be expected to happen (standard) with what actually happens (performance). . Comparing the two things, it can be seen whether there is a gap (discrepancy), namely the standard set with the actual performance. This model was developed by Malcolm Provus, aims to analyze a program whether the program is worth continuing, increasing, or terminating. teaching evaluation is a component in the teaching system, while the teaching system itself is an implementation of the curriculum, as an effort to create classroom learning. Oemar Hamalik (2001: 145) states, the evaluation process is generally student-centered. This means that evaluation is intended to observe student learning outcomes and seeks to determine how learning opportunities are. From the two opinions above, the evaluation is intended to observe a teaching process, which includes the role of the teacher, teaching strategies, curriculum materials, and learning principles applied to teaching.

Abstract

Critical education is education that is able to free from ignorance, poverty, oppression, and lift the condition of the subject from the pits of oppression and helplessness, both human and environmental. Freedom to learn is an idea where the educational paradigm is not confined and has a meaning that is freer than the freedom of life. The purpose of this study is to describe a critical educational analysis of the policy of independent campus learning in Indonesia. The research methodology used is library research, using the following steps: knowing and finding out the type of library needed, reading the type of library needed, conducting an assessment, presenting the results of the literature study. The sources of this research are research journals, books and the internet. The results showed that the campus policy of independent learning, independent learning supports the realization of critical education. This can be seen from the programs launched in the policy where students are required to be creative, critical and dare to apply their knowledge in a real form. Students voluntarily (can take or not) to get their rights such as internships.

Abstract

In this research paper, we propose an Enterprise Architecture (EA) design for PT XYZ, a middle up class real estate development company in Indonesia, leveraging the TOGAF ADM framework. The study centers on optimizing five key business processes—commercial leasing, residential sales, hotel banquet rentals, waterpark ticket sales, and parking fee collection—to enhance operational efficiency and support digital transformation. Using ArchiMate modeling for clear visualization, this architecture spans from the Preliminary Phase, Phase A Architecture Vision, Phase B Business Layer, Phase C Information System Architecture (Application Layer) to the Phase D Technology Architecture. It provides a strategic blueprint to address common challenges like data fragmentation, reliance on manual processes and human resources readiness. By implementing this EA, PT XYZ can expect improvements in scalability, flexibility, and overall agility. This approach aims to position PT XYZ as a modern, digitally-driven entity, aligning technology investments with business objectives for long-term success. Future research is recommended to explore later phases of TOGAF ADM (Phase E – Phase H) and potentially integrate additional business areas for a holistic digital transformation.

Abstract

Cyber defense education is essential for developing a workforce capable of addressing evolving cyber threats, particularly in the military sector, where interconnected systems are vital for secure communication and command. This research aims to enhance the selection process for the Cyber Defense Master Scholarship at the Republic of Indonesia Defense University by employing machine learning algorithms. The study compares the performance of K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Decision Tree, and Random Forest for classifying eligible scholarship candidates. The results reveal a clear performance hierarchy: KNN achieves a moderate accuracy of 80.68%, offering simplicity and interpretability but lacking the precision of other models. The decision Tree performs with high accuracy (98.86%) but shows vulnerability to overfitting, which may impact generalizability to unseen data. Random Forest emerges as the most robust model, achieving the highest precision and overall stability, with minimal compromise on other metrics. Given the scholarship’s selection requirements, Random Forest is recommended for tasks needing high accuracy and resilience against overfitting, while KNN and Decision Tree offer suitable alternatives for simpler, more interpretable applications.
