Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference in the composting time of teak sawdust and the dose of teak sawdust on the growth and yield of shallots of the lancor blue variety. This research was conducted in Tidu Village, Pohjentrek District, Pasuruan Regency. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) method consisting of two factors repeated three times. The first factor is the composting time (L) with L1: 4 weeks, L2: 6 weeks, and L3: 8 weeks. The second factor was the dose of teak sawdust (M) with doses of M1: 5 tonnes ha-1 , M2: 10 tonnes ha-1 , and M3: 15 tonnes ha1 . Overall there were nine treatment combinations. The results showed that composting time of 8 weeks and sawdust dosage of 15 tonnes ha1 resulted in a dry weight of wind on shallot bulbs of 10.74 tonnes ha-1

Abstract

Produktivitas stroberi setiap tahun cenderung fluktuatif dikarenakan kesuburan tanah di Indonesia sebagian besar sudah mengalami penurunan. Penggunaan pupuk Trichokompos kotoran hewan sapi menjadi alternatif untuk mendukung penggunaan pupuk anorganik selama ini oleh petani stroberi. Tujuan penelitian ini guna mengkaji tanggapan pertumbuhan serta capaian stroberi terhadap diberikannya pupuk Trichokompos serta pupuk mutiara (16:16:16). Penelitian memakai Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan satu faktor terdiri dari empat perlakuan yang terdiri dari pupuk NPK (kontrol), pupuk Trichokompos 30 ton ha-1 + NPK 50%, pupuk Trichokompos 40 ton ha-1+ NPK 50% dan pupuk Trichokompos 50 ton ha-1+ NPK 50% yang masing-masing diulang enam kali. Data yang dihasilkan dianalisis ragam (ANOVA) dengan uji lanjut BNJ 5%. Pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, luas daun, bobot buah, indeks luas daun, laju asimilasi bersih dan laju pertumbuhan relatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi pemberian pupuk Trichokompos sebanyak 50 ton ha-1 serta pupuk NPK 50% secara nyata menghasilkan bobot buah terberat pada 35 HST yaitu 29,57 g tanaman-1. Pupuk Trichokompos dan kombinasinya dengan pupuk mutiara juga berpengaruh nyata pada laju asimilasi bersih, indeks luas daun, serta laju pertumbuhan relatif sampai pada usia tanaman 21-28 HST, namun tidak terdapat pengaruh yang nyata pada umur 35 HST, diduga sudah mengalami penurunan penerimaan sinar radiasi matahari dan laju fotosintesis. Aplikasi pupuk terpadu antara pupuk organik dan anorganik menjadi alternatif untuk memperbaiki sifat tanah dan mampu mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman dengan baik.

Abstract

Intensitas radiasi matahari dan pupuk nitrogen menjadi faktor penting untuk pertumbuhan tanaman sawi putih dan juga dapat mempengaruhi lahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan agar mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan yaitu intensitas radiasi matahari dan input berupa pupuk urea terhadap lingkungan sekitar tanaman dan produktivitas sawi putih. Hasil yang diperolhe penanaman sawi putih dengan perlakuan perbedaan intensitas cahaya matahari dan pemberian pupuk nitrogen menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa perlakuan intensitas radiasi matahari 65% menghasilkan pertumbuhan, dengan hasil pertumbuhan sawi putih tertinggi dan menghasilkan bobot segar ha-1 sebesar 46,79 ton. Perlakuan pupuk nitrogen 300 kg ha-1  menghasilkan bobot segar ha-1 45,78 ton. Pelakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap suhu tanah, namun berpengaruh nyata pada kelembapan tanah saat umur tanaman 35 HST  dan pada rasio transmisi cahaya pada umur tanaman 21-35 HST.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Rootone-F dalam memperpanjang pertumbuhan bambu rejeki dan mengetahui konsentrasi berapakah Rootone-F mampu memperpanjang pertumbuhan bambu rejeki. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Blandongan Kota Pasuruan pada ketinggian ± 4.5 m dpl pada bulan April – Juni 2021. Penelitian ini disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) satu faktor dengan ulangan sebanyak lima kali dengan perlakuan pemberian ZPT Rootone-F sebagai berikut : P0 = kontrol, tanpa pemberian ZPT; P1 = perlakuan pemberian ZPT dengan dosis 0,2 gr/L; P2 = perlakuan pemberian ZPT dengan dosis 0,4 gr/L; P3 = perlakuan pemberian ZPT dengan dosis 0,6 gr/L. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (uji F), apabila terdapat pengaruh nyata, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemberian dosis zat pengatur tumbuh berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan stek bambu rejeki. Peningkatan dosis zat pengatur tumbuh memberikan hasil meningkat pada semua parameter. Tanaman stek bambu rejeki pada umur 120 HST dengan pemberian dosis Rootone-F 0,6 gr/L menghasilkan tinggi tanaman sebesar 65,96 cm, panjang tunas sebesar 12,96 cm, jumlah daun sebesar 34,62 helai, panjang akar sebesar 13,92 dan jumlah akar sebesar sebesar 63,34.

Abstract

Eggplant is a horticultural crop that contains vitamins and nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, phosphorus, iron, protein and carbohydrates. Optimizing eggplant productivity can be supported by the application of mycorrhizal fertilizers as a provider of phosphorus elements and maintaining soil moisture. The aim of this study was to distinguish the timing of mycorrhizal fertilizer application in supporting eggplant productivity. The treatment was divided into three, namely P1: fertilizing two weeks before planting at a dose of 5 kg/ha; P2: fertilizing one week before planting at a dose of 5 kg/ha; and P3: fertilization at planting time of 5 kg/ha. Completely randomized design with 3 replications was tested in this study. The results of the study were that mycorrhizal fertilizers on vegetative observations tended to be better on the treatment at planting time compared to the other two treatments, but on vegetative observations at plant height at the age of 21 DAT the treatment 1 week before planting turned out to be superior to the other two treatments. Generative observations tended to have better results in the treatment 1 week before planting than the treatment at planting time which tended to have lower yields where the fresh weight of the fruit only weighed 150,35 grams while the treatment 2 weeks before planting had a fresh weight of 161,35 grams . The length of the treated fruit 1 week before planting was 27,35 cm far above the treatment at planting with a length of only 24,26 cm.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain the right dose of organic fertilizer combination of chrysanthemum flower waste and NPK Mutiara inorganic fertilizer to support the growth and efficiency of nutrient absorption levels of tomato meranti plants. The method used in this study was a complete randomized design (RAK) with 4 treatments and each treatment was repeated 6 time. The treatment made is P0: 500 kg ha-1 NPK Mutiara (100% NPK); P1: Dose of Organic Fertilizer Chrysanthemum Waste 15 Tons ha-1 + 25 % NPK; P2: Dose of Organic Fertilizer Chrysanthemum Waste 10 Tons ha-1 + 50 % NPK; P3: Dose of Organic Fertilizer Chrysanthemum Waste 5 Tons ha-1 + 75 % NPK. With observation parameters, namely plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, dry weight of upper plants, dry weight of lower plants, total dry weight of plants, leaf area index, net assimilation rate, and plant growth rate. The results showed that with the addition of organic matter of chrysanthemum waste fertilizer combined with NPK inorganic fertilizer was able to support the growth of meranti tomato plants in the vegetative phase of plants with a combined dose of chrysanthemum fertilizer 5 tons Ha-1 + 75% NPK showed the best results on plant height parameters, number of leaves and dry weight of plants.

Abstract

Demand for vegetable commodities, including carrots, is high due to the increasing population and increasing public awareness of nutritional value, the need for food consumption is also increasing. The purpose of this study was to obtain the right dose of combination of chicken coop organic fertilizer and pearl npk inorganic fertilizer to support the growth and yield of carrot plants. The method used in this study was a randomized group design (RAK) with 4 treatments and each treatment was repeated 6 times. The treatment made is P0: 100% NPK Mutiara (75 kg ha-1); P1: Chicken manure dose 20 tons ha-1 + 50 % NPK; P2: Chicken manure dose 25 tons ha-1 + 50 % NPK; P3: Chicken manure dose 30 tons ha-1 + 50 % NPK. Research results The results showed that dosing treatment of 30 tons ha-1 + 50% NPK Plants-1 can increase the growth and highest yield of carrot plants compared to other treatments.

Abstract

Most Indonesians work in the agricultural sector, making Indonesia included in the category of an agricultural country. Agriculture has an important role in the welfare of the Indonesian population because natural conditions suitable for farming increase the quality and quantity of agricultural products. This research aims to determine the soil quality index of andisol on potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) agricultural land in Tosari sub-district, Pasuruan district, East Java. The research was carried out in Tosari sub-district, Pasuruan district at an altitude of 1700 meters above sea level. In September 2023 – January 2024. This research uses a random purposive sampling method for taking soil samples. Next, it was analyzed in the laboratory for texture, volume weight, porosity, C-organic, pH, P-available, K-exchangeable and root depth was measured. The soil quality index is calculated using the criteria of Mausbach and Seybold (1998), which can be adjusted to field conditions using the Minimum Data Set (MDS). Based on the research results, it was found that the Soil Quality Index (SQI) of potato fields in Tosari sub-district has two criteria, namely medium and good criteria. Ledoksari Village, Kandangan Village, and Podokoyo Village are classified as Good (G) while Ngawidono Village and Mororejo Village are classified as Medium (M).

Abstract

Desa Parasrejo, Kabupaten Pasuruan merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki program bank sampah namun sudah tiga tahun terakhir kurang berjalan optimal sehingga masyarakat membakar sampahnya tanpa dipilah terlebih dahulu. Seresah daun kering menjadi sampah di lingkungan rumah yang jika dibiarkan akan mengganggu estetika rumah dan jika dibakar akan menghasilkan polusi lingkungan, sehingga tim pengabdian memperkenalkan teknologi komposter untuk mengolah sampah seresah daun kering menjadi pupuk kompos yang bernilai ekonomis dan mampu memperbaiki kesuburan tanah. Pelaksaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui tiga tahap antara lain; sosialisasi, praktek langsung dan monitoring. Hasil secara keseluruhan kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat Desa Parasrejo mampu membuat pupuk kompos yang berbahan dasar seresah daun kering, selanjutnya tim pengabdian dan mitra akan menindaklanjuti kegiatan dengan cara mendaftarkan produk pupuk kompos tersebut dan produk BUMDes serta UMKM lainnya ke Direktorat Jenderal Kekayaan Intelektual.

Abstract

Pupuk organik cair ubur-ubur merupakan pupuk yang berasal dari tubuh hidup ubur-ubur yang diolah menggunakan proses fermentasi pengganti pupuk anorganik pada tanaman sawi varietas Samhong King. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kombinasi pupuk organik cair ubur-ubur dan pupuk urea yang tepat terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil sawi Samhong King. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan tiga perlakuan, antara lain (1) P1 = 2x aplikasi Urea 25% + seminggu sekali untuk penanaman POC Ubur-ubur 75%, (2) P2 = 2x aplikasi Urea 50% + satu kali a. minggu penanaman POC Ubur-ubur 50 dan (3) P3 = 2x pemberian Urea 75% + seminggu sekali penanaman POC Ubur-ubur 25%, kemudian masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak lima kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk organik cair ubur-ubur berpengaruh terhadap variabel pengamatan tinggi daun, panjang daun, bobot segar daun, dan bobot akar tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah daun. Pada pengamatan terakhir hasil tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan pemberian 2x Urea 75% + seminggu sekali, penanaman POC Ubur-ubur 25% dengan tinggi tanaman 35 cm, panjang daun 35 cm, berat semak daun 2,003 g, dan akar segar berat 32 g. Sedangkan jumlah daun sebanyak 18 daun pada seluruh perlakuan menurut pengamatan terakhir.
