Abstract

Background of the study: Early childhood is a critical period for fostering creativity and developing motor and socio-emotional skills. Integrating art into early childhood education has the potential to stimulate these aspects in a holistic manner. However, there is still limited research on how art-based learning strategies affect children's overall development, especially in the context of Indonesian early childhood institutions. Aims and scope of paper: This study aims to explore the effectiveness of implementing art as an integrated learning strategy at RA Bakti Telang. It focuses on examining the impact of art activities on the development of children’s creativity, gross and fine motor skills, and socio-emotional abilities. Methods: A qualitative case study approach was employed. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation of art activities conducted at the school. Thematic analysis was used to interpret the findings. Results: The study found that art activities such as traditional dance, hadroh (Islamic percussion performance), and coloring significantly enhanced children's creativity and positively stimulated both gross and fine motor development. Dance activities improved body coordination and balance, while coloring refined fine motor control through the use of writing tools. Additionally, participation in group art projects fostered social skills such as cooperation and empathy. A key challenge identified was the limited involvement of parents, particularly fathers, in supporting these activities. Contribution: This study contributes to the development of a more inclusive and adaptive model of art education for early childhood settings. It offers practical recommendations for increasing family engagement and provides guidance for other early childhood education institutions seeking to implement more effective and comprehensive art-based programs.

Abstract

In the digital era, characterized by rapid and unpredictable changes, adaptive leadership has become crucial for organizational sustainability. This study aims to examine the importance of adaptive leadership in facing business dynamics, the key characteristics required of adaptive leaders, implementation strategies, and the challenges involved. A descriptive qualitative method was used through a literature review approach. The results indicate that adaptive leaders must possess a clear vision, flexibility, strong communication skills, and the courage to make decisions amid uncertainty. Key strategies include training programs, encouraging innovation, and fostering team involvement. The main challenges are resistance to change and limited resources. In conclusion, adaptive leadership is not only a competitive advantage but also a necessity in addressing the challenges of the digital business landscape.

Abstract

Indonesia akan memasuki pemilu yang dilaksanakan secara serentak pada tahun 2024 mendatang. Salah satu kekhawatiran yang muncul menjelang pemilu adalah isu politik identitas. Berkaca dari pengalaman Pilkada DKI Jakarta tahun 2017 yang lalu, politik identitas dapat menjadi ancaman bagi pelaksanaan Pemilu 2024 karena berpotensi memecah preferensi politik di masyarakat atas dasar isu suku, agama, ras, dan antargolongan yang dibawanya. Salah satu partai politik baru, yaitu Partai Ummat, bahkan sudah terang-terangan akan mengusung politik identitas dalam menghadapi Pemilu 2024. Isu-isu seperti ini mencederai implementasi demokrasi di negara kita karena bisa menghasilkan perbedaan politik yang tajam dan berujung pada kekerasan. Politik identitas adalah ancaman yang harus diwaspadai menjelang kontestasi politik tahun depan. Masyarakat harus memiliki budaya politik partisipatif yang didukung dengan tingkat kesadaran politik yang cukup tinggi. Pemerintah harus memastikan aksesibilitas pemilu bagi semua warga negara, terutama untuk orang dengan disabilitas atau yang tinggal di daerah terpencil, serta memastikan transparansi dan keterbukaan dalam proses pemilihan umum.

Abstract

Pelayanan administrasi menjadi suatu hal yang penting dan harus diperharikan agar kesejahteraan bisa terwujud. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik, pemerintah menyediakan website go digital (GODIGI). Website ini diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat untuk merespon permasalahan dan memberikan solusi atas permasalahan pelayanan publik tersebut, seperti masalah waktu pelayanan dan kenyamanan publik. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan menggambarkan peristiwa secara sistematis dan terperinci sesuai dengan kondisi di lapangan. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kanal website Go Digital telah berhasil meningkatkan efektivitas pelayanan administrasi kependudukan di Mal Pelayanan Publik Kabupaten Probolinggo, terutama dalam hal kemudahan akses, kecepatan pelayanan, dan kualitas layanan. Namun, terdapat beberapa masalah yang perlu diperbaiki, seperti kurangnya sosialisasi tentang penggunaan kanal website Go Digital dan beberapa kendala teknis. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar Mal Pelayanan Publik terus meningkatkan sosialisasi dan perbaikan teknis untuk meningkatkan pelayanan administrasi yang lebih efisien dan unggul.

Abstract

Nanoemulsion is an effective drug delivery system to enhance the penetration of active substances. Xanthorrhizol (XNT) shows potential as an anti-aging agent with collagenesis activity and photo-aging inhibition, but its lipophilic nature limits skin penetration and reduces its effectiveness in reaching the stratum corneum. Therefore, this study aims to optimize the formulation of xanthorrhizol nanoemulsion using the Design of Experiment (DoE) statistical approach with the Box-Behnken Design (BBD) method on the Design Expert® software. The optimization in this study involved three independent variables (X): (X₁) the concentration of Smix (Tween 80 and PEG 400), (X₂) stirring time, and (X₃) stirring speed. The responses (Y) evaluated to determine the optimization outcome were (Y₁) percent transmittance (%T) and (Y₂) pH. Based on the optimization results, the base formula with the amount of Smix 60%, stirring speed 875 rpm and stirring time 15 minutes gave a 98.4%T response and pH 7.05. The xanthorrhizol nanoemulsion formula was yellow in color and had a distinctive xanthorrhizol odor. The formulation exhibited a globule size of 13.76 ± 0.2 nm, a polydispersity index of 0.059 ± 0.000, and a zeta potential of −48.03 ± 1.423 mV. It also showed 95.5 ± 0.31% transmittance, had a pH of 7.12 ± 0.01, and was classified as an oil-in-water (O/W) nanoemulsion. The nanoemulsion remained stable after freeze-thaw and centrifugation tests, with an entrapment efficiency of 58.6%. Based on these findings, the developed formulation can be considered a promising nanoemulsion system for xanthorrhizol delivery

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan metode pengajaran yang dirancang untuk menyesuaikan dengan keragaman kebutuhan, kebutuhan minat, tingkat kesiapan, serta gaya belajar siswa dalam suatu kelas.Pendekatan ini menjadi elemen kunci dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka, yang menekankan pentingnya pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Namun, keberhasilan strategi ini sangat ditentukan oleh kesiapan dan kompetensi guru, termasuk guru honorer yang kerap kali menjadi tenaga pendidik utama di sekolah dasar. Meskipun memiliki peran yang signifikan, guru honorer sering kali menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, misalnya kurangnya pelatihan, keterbatasan sarana, serta minimnya pengawasan dan pengakuan profesional menjadi beberapa kendala yang dihadap. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana guru honorer di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terkhusus di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor yang menjadi penghambat maupun pendukung, serta memberikan rekomendasi berdasarkan temuan lapangan dan literatur terkini
