Abstract

Tenoxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), one of the oxicam group. It is categorized as Biopharmaceutical Classification System class II, as its low solubility and high permeability. The aims of this research were to enhance the solubility and dissolution rate of tenoxicam by its modification into a co-amorphous phase with meglumine at a molar 1:1 ratio. The co amorphous form of tenoxicam-meglumine was prepared by a solvent drop grinding method, and characterized by thermal analysis using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), solid phase by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), identification of functional group by Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, and morphology by polarized light microscopy (PLM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The solubility test was conducted in water, whereas the dissolution test was performed in 0.1 N HCl solution and water. The DSC thermogram demonstrated a decrease in the endothermic peak of the co-amorphous tenoxicam-meglumine. The PXRD diffractogram revealed a reduction in the peak intensity of the X-ray diffraction, which formed a halo pattern. The FT-IR spectroscopy analysis indicated the formation of the co-amorphous system. The co-amorphous of tenoxicam-meglumine solubility’s increased by 42.71-fold as compared to intact tenoxicam. The co-amorphous tenoxicam meglumine exhibited a dissolution rate of 92.71% and 100% in 0.1 N HCl and distilled water, respectively, after 60 minutes, and resulting in separate increases in dissolution efficiency by 3.05 and 9.12-times in 0.1 N HCl and distilled water. In summary, the formation of the co-amorphous phase of tenoxicam and meglumine successfully enhanced the solubility and dissolution of tenoxicam.

Abstract

In improving the products of the “Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) in society 5.0, the use of social media is very important. One digital marketing solution that can be utilized by UMKM in Kalisalam Village is the Maxim expedition service. The aim of this research is to educate UMKM players regarding the importance of digital marketing and the application of creating sales websites on the Maxim application. The subjects of service are UMKM in Kalisalam Village, totaling 15 MSME. The method used is qualitative descriptive so that the results obtained are an introduction to digital marketing for UMKM players in Kalisalam Village starting from data collection on UMKM in Kalisalam Village, the process of implementing socialization and procedures for creating a sales website on the Maxim application.

Abstract

Ticagrelor is a triazolopyrimidine antiplatelet agent with poor water solubility. Ticagrelor was incorporated into mesoporous silica SBA15 in this study to evaluate its physical stability and improve its solubility and dissolution rate. TEOS was employed as a silica precursor and Pluronic P123 as a template to synthesize SBA-15. Ticagrelor was loaded into SBA-15 at a mass ratio of 1:1. Physicochemical characterization was conducted using nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm analysis, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Ticagrelor solubility and dissolution were tested using distilled water as the medium. To evaluate the physical stability, Ticagrelor-SBA-15 was stored in a climatic chamber at 75% RH and 40°C for a month and analyzed using PXRD. Physicochemical characterization indicated efficient adsorption of ticagrelor into the SBA-15 pores, resulting in an amorphous form of solid material. Meanwhile, solubility and dissolution rate testing showed respective increases of 1.33 times and 1.74 times with significant differences (p<0.05) while maintaining its physical stability after storage for one month. Based on this study, it can be concluded that the incorporation of  mesoporous SBA-15 significantly enhances ticagrelor’s solubility and dissolution rate while maintaining stability.

Abstract

The m-health application provides various information needed by the general public, not only information but easy access. One example is the use of health applications, with technology, namely mobile health applications, it can make things easier for people, especially in the health sector. Especially in the health sector, it makes it easy for users to monitor health remotely and various other features to improve the quality of health services for the community. This research examines the effect of using mobile health and monitoring features on a healthy lifestyle. This type of research uses literature review techniques. This research was conducted using the Google Scholar database by searching for several previous articles related to the use of mobile health applications in improving the quality of health services. With the development of mobile health technology in the world of health, it turns out that it has a good influence on society. Mobile health is an innovation in the health sector that uses media to access digital-based health information and services.

Abstract

Gliclazide (GLI), a sulfonylurea-class antidiabetic drug, exhibits poor aqueous solubility, limiting its bioavailability. This study aimed to enhance gliclazide’s solubility and dissolution rate by adsorbing it into mesoporous silica SBA-15 and amine-functionalized SBA-15 (SBA-15-A). SBA-15 was synthesized using Pluronic® P123 as a template and tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) as the silica precursor, while 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) was used to introduce amine functional groups. Gliclazide was loaded into SBA-15 and SBA-15-A at a 1:3 mass ratio. The materials (GLI, SBA-15, SBA-15-A, GLI-SBA, and GLI-SBA-A) were characterized using nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD). Characterization revealed that the pore diameters of SBA-15 and SBA-15-A were 6.079 nm and 5.483 nm, respectively. FT-IR confirmed the interaction between gliclazide and the mesoporous carriers. SEM and TEM analysis showed crystalline gliclazide and rod-shaped morphologies for the mesopores samples. DSC and PXRD results indicated that most of the gliclazide had been converted to an amorphous form. Solubility testing over 24 hours showed that GLI-SBA and GLI-SBA-A improved gliclazide solubility by 1.375- and 2.334-fold, respectively, compared to pure gliclazide. Dissolution testing in distilled water revealed a 6.033-fold and 3.887-fold increase in the release rate at 5 minutes for GLI-SBA and GLI-SBA-A, respectively. Both solubility and release rate improvements were statistically significant (p <0.05). These findings suggest that amine functionalization of SBA-15 effectively enhances the solubility and dissolution rate of gliclazide.

Abstract

The ability of teachers to manage role playing learning is one of the attractions of children who can affect children's language skills. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the role playing center, the role of the teacher, and the process of language learning through the technique of using an early childhood role playing center. The research method is descriptive-qualitative. Data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documents. The findings obtained include preparing a role playing learning plan, role playing activities require the full involvement of children, especially in the space and time of its application and the role of the teacher in building creative learning to improve children's language skills. This study concluded that the process of developing language skills in children is not enough to be done only once in the role playing learning center. Instead, it needs to be done repeatedly in the process of applying it by determining the themes in learning center playing roles differently. Thus, the role of the teacher is very important in building creativity in managing learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi memberikan peluang besar bagi pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk meningkatkan pemasaran produk melalui media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan penggunaan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi daring pada UMKM Bakso 35 Ambalawi guna meningkatkan brand awareness dan penjualan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, melibatkan analisis konten media sosial serta survei terhadap konsumen dan pelaku UMKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan strategi konten yang tepat, pemanfaatan fitur media sosial seperti Instagram dan WhatsApp dapat meningkatkan interaksi dengan pelanggan dan memperluas jangkauan pasar. Optimalisasi ini berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan penjualan dan loyalitas konsumen. Oleh karena itu, UMKM Bakso 35 Ambalawi disarankan terus mengembangkan konten kreatif dan memanfaatkan fitur digital secara maksimal sebagai bagian dari strategi pemasaran daring.

Abstract

MC Coffe Bireuen is a place visited by customers to shop for food and drinks, the restaurant business has been very much in demand by the public in general, because apart from having a good turnover, it is also easy to develop. The current condition at MC cafe is still using the manual ordering method and the exemption from the use of internet access by customers. This makes it difficult for cafe owners to spend on internet access bills, plus the payment system is still manual which causes the calculations to be quite time consuming. then designed a local website and management system for the use of internet access that is able to provide solutions in working on ordering services. In the design of this application system, it provides an Android ordering menu to make it easier for customers and their workers to handle orders and payments.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan masa di mana tubuh mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Perubahan ini dapat dilihat dari perubahan fisiologis dan psikologis yang cepat serta stabilitas perkembangan tubuh. Peralihan dari masa anak-anak menuju masa dewasa dikenal sebagai usia remaja, yang mana melibatkan perubahan signifikan dalam hal fisik dan hormonal. Remaja putri mempunyai risiko terkena anemia dua kali lebih tinggi dibandingkan laki-laki, hal ini disebabkan adanya pendarahan  atau menstruasi bulanan yang terjadi pada wanita. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran membuat remaja putri rentan mengalami anemia. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan desain penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 30 Medan pada bulan November 2023, dengan populasi seluruh remaja putri di SMP Negeri 30 Medan dengan 131 responden sebagai sampel, dan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel metode total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner mengenai anemia gizi dan dianalisis secara univariat. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan distribusi frekuensi usia pada responden yang mendominasi yakni usia 14 tahun sebanyak 74 responden (56,5%). Dan distribusi frekuensi tingkat kategori pengetahuan responden yang mendominasi yakni kategori pengetahuan baik sebanyak 91 responden (69,5%). Simpulan: Dari hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan pada remaja putri di SMP Negeri 30 Medan mayoritas baik yakni sebanyak 91 responden (69,5%). Selain itu, tingkat pengetahuan juga mempengaruhi kejadian anemia pada remaja putri, selain faktor pengetahuan, anemia juga dapat di pengaruhi oleh faktor usia remaja putri yang sedang dalam masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan.
