Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to provide empirical evidence of the compensation system and income variance for Cage Crews (ABK) at UD. Turiolo before and after transitioning from an open to a closed house system, along with assessing the resulting income increases. Methodology/approach: This research adopts a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing a paired sample t-test for data analysis. Data collection involved interviews with business owners and four crew members and documentation of compensation records across maintenance cycles. Results/findings: The findings revealed a significant increase in ABK income after the implementation of the closed house system. The performance-based compensation system is directly correlated with higher income levels achieved through improved operational efficiency. Conclusion: The MSME performance of social media in TOS Lubuklinggau showed a 45.3% sales increase, especially in culinary and fashion products. This study reveals the potential of digital marketing and the need for wider adoption and stakeholder support. Limitations: The study focused solely on one broiler chicken farm in Gowa Regency, limiting the generalizability of the findings to other farms or regions. Future studies should include a broader sample across different farming systems and geographical areas. Contribution: This research highlights the critical role of compensation systems in improving worker income within the poultry farming industry and provides evidence of the economic benefits of adopting modern cage systems, such as the closed house model.

Abstract

This study explores the role of E-Leadership in advancing sustainable tourism in Raja Ampat, one of Indonesia's leading marine tourism destinations. Raja Ampat is renowned for its extraordinary natural beauty, rich marine biodiversity, and vibrant local culture. However, the rapid growth of tourism in the region has raised environmental and socio-cultural challenges that require innovative and sustainable management approaches. The main issue addressed in this study is the lack of effective environmentally friendly tourism management and the suboptimal use of digital technology in destination governance. The aim of this research is to analyze how E-Leadership can be applied as a strategy to manage tourism sustainably in Raja Ampat. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, employing literature review and in-depth interviews with tourism stakeholders such as local governments, business actors, and community members. The results indicate that E-Leadership significantly contributes to enhancing transparency, strengthening stakeholder collaboration, and accelerating data-driven decision-making processes. By integrating the principles of green tourism and sustainable development, E-Leadership has proven effective in supporting the protection of natural resources, empowering local communities, and ensuring long-term economic resilience. This paper highlights how digital technology, when effectively implemented through E-Leadership, can facilitate responsible tourism practices and contribute to the preservation of Raja Ampat's ecological and cultural heritage.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Observation of the crescent moon is a crucial method in determining the beginning of the Hijri month. Along with the development of technology, the use of modern optical aids such as ioptron telescopes and CCD cameras has become a promising alternative to improve observation accuracy. The main problem in this study is how effective the use of ioptron telescopes and CCD cameras is in rukyatul hilal. The main problem is then formulated into several sub-problems or research questions, namely: what are the results of using ioptron telescopes with CCD cameras in rukyatul hilal, and what is the success rate of using ioptron telescopes and CCD cameras in rukyatul hilal. This study aims to examine and analyze the effectiveness of using modern technology in rukyatul hilal. This type of research is a type of field research while the nature of the data collected is quantitative descriptive with the research approaches used are: theological normative sharia, and astronomy. The data sources in this study are based on the results of observations and documentation analysis supported by document studies. Data processing and analysis techniques are carried out through three stages, namely: data collection, data processing, and data presentation. The results of the study show that first, the results of observations using a telescope combined with a CCD camera are able to record crescent images quite well in favorable weather conditions. Second, the use of telescopes and CCD cameras in rukyatul hilal quantitatively is relatively low, namely 21.4% of 28 observations that meet the criteria with a total of 41 observations from 2021 to 2024. The implications of this study are: 1) It is necessary to develop a more comprehensive crescent observation methodology. 2) An evaluation of the effectiveness of optical instruments in rukyatul hilal is needed.
