Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of observations during the learning process for class II students at SDN Kasreman, Kandangan District. Learning material on the use of capital letters and punctuation in Indonesian language learning has problems. First, the learning media used by the teacher for material on the use of capital letters and punctuation marks is only letter cards. Using letter card media, teachers have not directly involved students in practicing this media. Second, teaching and learning interactions between teachers and students are lacking.  The method used in this research is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this research were 26 class II students at SDN KASREMAN. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and tests. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses quantitative analysis techniques which are explained using qualitative analysis. The results of this research are: (1) the validity of the sentence card media obtained a media validation result of 92.7% which was declared very valid, material validation obtained a score of 84% which was declared valid and learning device validation obtained a score of 93% which was declared very valid; (2) the sentence card media material using capital letters and punctuation was stated to be practical by obtaining results from teacher response questionnaires of 87.5%, student response questionnaires of 90% limited trials and 93.3% extensive trials; and (3) the sentence card media was declared effective after limited trials by providing posttest questions at 86.2% and extensive trials providing posttest questions obtained results of 90.5% so that the sentence card media could be said to be very effective without any improvements.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of observations carried out at SDN Tiron 4 Kediri, it was discovered that during the learning of water cycle material in class V of SDN TIRON 4 it was found that during the learning process the teacher did not use learning media. Teachers only use teaching materials in the form of student books which contain material summaries and unattractive illustrations of the water cycle. Students find it difficult if they only read the material and observe illustrations in the form of pictures of the water cycle in student books. This results in students being less able to explain the stages of the water cycle. The aim of this research and development is to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of animation-based learning video media using the CapCut application for water cycle material for class V students at SDN Tiron 4 Kediri. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the ADDIE development model. The ADDIE development model has five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques were in the categories of validity, practicality and effectiveness.The results of this development research are: (1) The results of media validation obtained a score of 88% (very valid), material validation obtained 92% (very valid), validation of evaluation questions obtained 88% (very valid), and validation of learning tools obtained 92% ( very valid), (2) Practicality based on teacher response questionnaires obtained a score of 92% on limited trials and 90% on extensive trials as well as student response questionnaires with a score of 97.6% on limited trials and 98% on extensive trials, ( 3) Effectiveness based on evaluation results in limited trials got an average percentage of 92.6% and in extensive trials got an average percentage of 96.5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi teks nonfiksi, sehingga banyak siswa yang belum mampu mencapai batas minimal (KKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi teks nonfiksi kearifan lokal Kediri Raya melalui multimedia berbasis android di kelas IV SD Laboratorium UN PGRI Kediri semester II Tahun 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang tediri atas dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif deskriptif dengan membandingkan data kuantitatif dari prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia berbasis android dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi teks nonfiksi kearifan lokal Kediri Raya siswa kelas IV SD Laboratorium. Peningkatan ini dibuktikan dengan tahap prasiklus ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 42%, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 67%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 92%. Hasil dari penelitian ini hanya sampai pada siklus II, karena telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan siswa dengan kriteria ketuntasan 75. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan multimedia berbasis android dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi teks nonfiksi.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) knowing the validity; 2) knowing the effectiveness; and 3) knowing the responses of teachers and students to the learning media "PIGAM TAPE" based on macromedia flash 8 material identifying symbols/symbols of grade III elementary school students. The method used in this research is the development method (RnD) with the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. While the data analysis technique uses quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of the research on the development of learning media "PIGAM TAPE" based on macromedia flash 8 material to identify symbols for grade III elementary school students are as follows: (1) declared very valid by meeting the criteria for the percentage of media validity of 89% and material validity of 93.3%, (2) declared good based on the teacher's response by meeting the percentage criteria of 94%, while the results of student responses in the limited trial received a percentage of 100% and in the broad trial received a percentage of 95%, and (3) declared effective by meeting the percentage of classical learning completeness of the student test of 100%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the PIGAM TAPE learning media is declared very valid and feasible to use in learning Indonesian language on the material of symbols of traffic signs.

Abstract

Siswa kelas 5 SDN Jati dalam pembelajaran materi siklus air diketahui belum memahami kemampuan menganalisis siklus air dan dampaknya pada peristiwa di bumi karena guru hanya menggunakan metode pembelajaran ceramah, penugasan, dan bahan ajar berupa buku paket. Saat pembelajaran, guru menjelaskan materi tidak didukung dengan media pembelajaran. Selain itu, berdasarkan data hasil nilai ulangan siswa pada materi siklus air masih di bawah rata-rata KKM yaitu 73. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah penggunaan media visual untuk materi siklus air dan dampaknya pada peristiwa di bumi siswa kelas 5 SDN Jati. Media visual merupakan alat yang dapat digunakan sebagai peraga untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Dengan demikian media visual siklus air dapat dijadikan sebagai alat peraga untuk membantu para siswa memahami materi siklus air dengan jelas dan mudah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh kemapuan menganalisis materi siklus air dan dampaknya pada peristiwa di bumi menggunakan media pembelajaran media visual, untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh kemapuan menganalisis materi siklus air dan dampaknya pada peristiwa di bumi menggunakan media pembelajaran media cetak, untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya perbedaan pengaruh media pembelajaran media visual dan media cetak pada siswa kelas 5 SDN Jati Kabupaten Kediri. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Ada pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media visual terhadap kemampuan menganalisis materi siklus air, dengan nilai t-hitung sebesar -11,961 yang lebih besar dari t-tabel (±2,093) pada taraf signifikansi 5%, (2) Ada pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media cetak terhadap kemampuan menganalisis materi siklus air, dengan nilai t-hitung sebesar -18,525 yang lebih besar dari t-tabel (±2,093) pada taraf signifikansi 5%, dan (3) Ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan media visual dan media cetak terhadap kemampuan menganalisis materi siklus air, dengan nilai t-hitung sebesar 9,579 yang lebih besar dari t-tabel (2,024) pada taraf signifikansi 5%.

Abstract

Pancasila Education learning in grade 2 of Jegreg Elementary School still uses teacher's books and student's books, making students less active and having difficulty understanding the material on Pancasila values. Based on the results of observations and interviews, out of 25 students only 8 achieved the KKTP score (75). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using interactive multimedia "NILA" to improve student learning outcomes. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 25 grade II students, with data collected through observation, interviews, and learning outcome tests. The learning media was tested in a limited and extensive manner. The results of the limited trial showed a completion rate of 100%, and the extensive trial was 100%. These results indicate that interactive multimedia "NILA" is very effective in improving student learning outcomes, exceeding the KKTP score, and can be used without the need for improvement.

Abstract

Abstract In science learning material on animal life cycles in class IV SDN Tarokan 3, the teacher has not used learning media. In the learning process the teacher uses the lecture method which causes students to be less active. This has an impact on students' lack of understanding of animal life cycle material which results in more than 50% of students getting learning outcomes below the KKM. This research aims to (1) determine the validity of life cycle material diagram media products for living creatures for fourth grade elementary school students, (2) determine the effectiveness of living creature life cycle material diagram media products for fourth grade elementary school students, and (3) determine the practicality media product diagram material on the life cycle of living things for fourth grade elementary school students. The research model used is research and development (R&D). Based on this research, the results were: (1) the life cycle diagram media for living creatures was declared very valid with a percentage of 92.05%; (2) the life cycle diagram media for living creatures was declared very effective with a classical completion percentage of 90% in limited trials and 95% in extensive trials; and (3) the media for life cycle diagrams of living things is stated to be very practical with a teacher response percentage of 98.6%, student percentage gains in limited trials of 99.5% and student responses in extensive trials of 99.5%, so that the media can be said to be valid , effective, complete, and influential in improving student learning outcomes. Based on the results of this research, it was concluded that the media for life cycle diagrams of living creatures is valid and suitable for use as learning media for fourth grade elementary school students. Abstrak Pada pembelajaran IPA materi siklus hidup hewan kelas IV SDN Tarokan 3 guru belum menggunakan media pembelajaran. Dalam proses pembelajaran guru menggunakan metode ceramah yang menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif. Hal ini berdampak pada pemahaman siswa kurang terhadap materi siklus hidup hewan yang mengakibatkan lebih dari 50% siswa mendapatkan hasil belajar di bawah KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kevalidan produk media diagram materi siklus hidup makhluk hidup untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, (2) mengetahui keefektifan produk media diagram materi siklus hidup makhluk hidup untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, dan (3) mengetahui kepraktisan produk media diagram materi siklus hidup makhluk hidup untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Model penelitian yang gunakan yaitu penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Berdasarkanpenelitian ini mendapatkan hasil (1) media diagram siklus hidup makhluk hidup dinyatakan sangat valid dengan presentase 92,05%; (2) media diagram siklus hidup makhluk hidup dinyatakan sangat efektif dengan presentase ketuntasan klasikal 90% pada uji coba terbatas dan 95% pada uji coba luas; dan (3) media diagram siklus hidup makhluk hidup dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan presentase respon guru 98,6%, perolehan presentase siswa pada uji coba terbatas 99,5% dan respon siswa pada uji coba luas 99,5%, sehingga media dapat dikatakan valid, efektif, tuntas, dan berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa media diagram siklus hidup makhluk hidup valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.Kata kunci:Pengembangan, Media Diagram Siklus Hidup Makhluk Hidup, Pembelajaran IPA

Abstract

The The background of teacher when conveying material on determining characters and fairy tale characters in using learning media is still less varied. The teacher only uses thematic book teaching materials by displaying pictures and stories about fairy tale characters and characters, so that students do not understand the material presented. The formulation of the problem is how the validity, effectiveness, teacher and student responses to comic media material determine the characters and characters of fairy tales for grade 4 elementary school students in their use as media during learning. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Developmen, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study were teachers and fourth grade students at SDN Ngadi. The results of the comic media development research are as follows: (1) The validation results for comic media if we calculate the average result of 87.7% which is declared very valid. (2) The results of the effectiveness of comic media in the limited trial obtained 100% while the wide trial obtained 94.11%, based on these results, the comic media was stated to be very good. (3) The results of the teacher's response questionnaire obtained 96% results which were declared very good and the results of the student response questionnaire in the limited trial obtained 83% results while in the wide trial the results obtained 82% which were stated to be very good.Keywords: Development; Comic Media; Determining Figures and Characteristics of Fairy TalesAbstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa guru saat menyampaikan materi menentukan tokoh dan watak dongeng dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran masih kurang bervariatif. Guru hanya menggunakan bahan ajar buku tematik dengan memperlihatkan gambar dan cerita mengenai materi tokoh dan watak dongeng, sehingga siswa kurang paham dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan. Rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana kevalidan, keefektifan, respon guru dan siswa pada media komik materi menentukan tokoh dan watak dongeng untuk siswa kelas 4 sekolah dasar dalam penggunaannya sebagai media saat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Developmen, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV SDN Ngadi. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan media komik adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Hasil validasi media komik rata-rata hasil sebesar 87,7% yang dinyatakan sangat valid. (2) Hasil efektifitas media komik pada uji coba terbatas mendapatkan 100% sedangkan uji coba luas mendapatkan 94,11%, berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media komik dinyatakan sangat baik. (3) Hasil angket respon guru diperoleh hasil 96% dinyatakan sangat baik dan hasil angket respon siswa pada uji coba terbatas diperoleh hasil 83% sedangkan pada uji coba luas diperoleh hasil 82% dinyatakan sangat baik.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan; Media Komik; Menentukan Tokoh dan Watak Dongeng

Abstract

This research was motivated by teachers who predominantly used the lecture method and did not use supporting tools such as learning media. The aim of this research is to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the Pop-Up Book media for Indonesian vocabulary material for class II students at SDN Ngadi Mojo. This research uses research and development methods with the ADDIE development model. The development model used to develop Pop-Up Book media refers to the ADDIE development model, which includes 5 stages, namely 1) Analysis Stage, 2) Design Stage, 3) Development Stage, 4) Implementation Stage, and 5) Evaluation Stage. The subjects in this research were teachers and students of class II SDN Ngadi Mojo Kediri. The data collection techniques were questionnaires and tests, while the data analysis technique used was the Likert scale. The results of this research produced Pop-Up Book media with Indonesian vocabulary material which was declared very valid after validation by media experts and material experts with a percentage of 88%. From the results of the questionnaire, teacher and student responses obtained a percentage of 85.8%, including the very good category. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes obtained a percentage of 85.65% and were declared very effective.
