Abstract

The objective of this study was to find out students' ability in writing English texts. This study used the descriptive qualitative method and data collected in writing analytical exposition text. The population in this study was the eleventh-grade students of MAN 2 Lubuklinggau. The subject of this study was XI IPA 4 considered 32 students who took a class by using purposeful sampling. Based on the result of the writing analytical exposition text the eleventh-grade students of MAN 2 Lubuklinggau were in “Good Criteria”. The writer used five elements of writing for analyzing students’ ability in writing English text. First was students’ ability in content, there were 14 students with “Very Good”, 16 students with “Good”, and 2 students with “Fair”. Second was students’ ability in organization, there were 11 students “Very Good”, 19 students “Good”, and 2 students “Fair”. Third was students’ ability in vocabulary, there were 3 students with “Very Good”, 15 students with “Good”, and 14 students with “Fair”. Fourth was students’ ability in language use, there were 26 students “Very Good” and 6 students “Good”. Fifth was students’ ability in mechanics, there were 22 students “Very Good” and 10 students “Good”.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to find out whether or not it is significantly effective to teach speaking by using describing picture strategy to the seventh-grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Qur’aniah Mataram. The researcher used a Pre-Experimental design. The researcher used a performance test in the form of an oral test. The data were collected by using Brown's theory. The findings of this study are that significantly effective in teaching speaking by using the describing picture strategy to the seventh-grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Qur'aniah Mataram.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to investigate EFL students’ difficulties in writing their thesis. This research used qualitative approach. The English Education Study Program of UNPARI students which still doing a thesis took part in this research as subject of the research. The data were collected by asking the students to fill out the questionnaires and being interviewed afterward. In analyzing data, it was done by checking the students’ answer in the questionnaire, classifying the students’ answers, describing the data and concluding the results. The result showed that there were several internal factors of EFL students’ difficulties in writing a thesis. In internal factors are difficulty in choosing the title of the thesis, feel are not sure (pessimistic), bored or saturated, doubtful or pessimistic, fears or worries, having a health problem or down while working on the thesis. Other factors are students' ability in understanding the systematics of writing the thesis, tending to use translation tools, lack og grammar and vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation in writing the thesis correctly. While, external factors were having communication problems with supervisors and supervisors’ writing, have difficulty in finding references related to thesis titles in the internet, there are no complete reference sources and no free access to digital libraries on campus, having technical problems on devices, have financial problems, personal problems, surrounding environment is not/less conducive. The researchers hope the result of this research will become important considerations for lecturers in advising their students especially in writing their thesis. Abstract

Abstract Housing is one of the basic human needs, not individual needs but the needs of society as a whole. However, not all people can enjoy or have decent, healthy and safe housing, so efforts to increase housing and settlement development must continue to be increased at affordable prices, especially for low-income groups. One of the causes of the problems faced by big cities in Indonesia is the large population caused by natural growth and urbanization. The government program through the construction of subsidized housing targets low-income communities (MBR). The purpose of this research is to determine the choice of marketing strategy through SWOT analysis as an effort to increase subsidized housing sales at PT Anugrah Indah Bersama Lampung in the pandemic era. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, namely research conducted to determine the value of independent variables, which interpret data in the form of words, sentences, schemes and pictures through SWOT analysis. Based on the several stages of analysis that have been carried out on IFAS and EFAS analysis, the strength of PT. Anugrah Indah with Lampung is superior to its weaknesses. The opportunities from PT. Anugrah Indah and Lampung are involved in a large enough threat compared to the threat.

Abstract

Employees are an essential asset for a company. With employees, the company would operate at all. Therefore, sound resource management is needed, one of which is holding employee training. Bad management can have fatal consequences for a company if employees cannot do their work well. Then, many tasks will pile up and need to be completed quickly. Carrying out employee training will help employees to increase work productivity. This research was conducted to determine the employee training and Development form carried out at PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia. Training and Development are critical in managing human resources in an institution, company, or organization. Human resources are an indicator of success for the survival of an organization or company. Hence, training and Development are essential for employees to increase their knowledge, skills, and abilities. Training provides specific knowledge and skills needed in the current job, while Development focuses on improving long-term knowledge, abilities, attitudes, and personality traits. Training is a process to improve employee abilities in specific jobs according to organizational needs and is carried out quickly. On the other hand, Development has a broader scope, aiming to prepare individuals to take on higher or different responsibilities in the organization. This second element is an investment in the organization, ensuring that employees have the skills necessary for effective and efficient performance. Analysis of employee training and Development (in-house training) for August – September 2023 at PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia to provide an overview of employee performance at the company.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan mendesak untuk memahami dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap layanan kesehatan ibu di puskesmas, terutama di tengah tantangan aksesibilitas dan keamanan dalam pelayanan medis. Dengan perubahan drastis dalam pola hidup dan akses terhadap fasilitas kesehatan selama pandemi, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi inovasi dan adaptasi yang diperlukan dalam menyediakan layanan kesehatan ibu yang efektif dan aman. Metode: Pendekatan Most Significant Change (MSC) dipilih untuk mengeksplorasi perubahan-perubahan penting dalam praktik dan persepsi penyelenggara layanan serta pasien, menjelaskan dinamika perubahan yang terjadi di lapangan. Hasil: Hasil FGD terhadap beberapa tenaga kesehatan, khususnya bidan di beberapa Puskesmas mendeskripsikan bahwa berbagai perubahan yang signifikan dalam tata cara layanan kesehatan ibu diselenggarakan dan diakses selama krisis di tingkat Puskesmas, meliputi penggunaan teknologi, penerapan layanan kesehatan ibu dengan mematuhi aturan yang ketat, kontribusi masyarakat, dan mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan dalam menyediakan layanan kesehatan ibu selama pandemi. Kesimpulan: penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya adaptasi, inovasi lokal, dan kolaborasi dalam membangun ketahanan sistem kesehatan masyarakat, termasuk penyediaan layanan kesehatan ibu dalam menghadapi krisis global seperti pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of profitability, leverage, firm size and environmental performance moderated by company profile variable on the CSR disclosures of companies listed the IDX in 2014-2019. Based on purposive sampling, there were 12 companies according to the research criteria multiplied by the number of 6 years of observation, 72 data were processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The result of simultaneously, the variables of profitability, leverage, firm size, environmental performance and company profile have a significant influence on CSR Disclosure. Partial testing shows that only leverage has a significant effect on CSR disclosure, while profitability, firm size, environmental performance and company profile have no significant effect on CSR disclosure.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan tenaga kerja kompeten di berbagai bidang semakin meningkat dan hanya dapat pencari kerja yang benar-benar memenuhi persyaratan dapat mencapai hal ini. Salah satu persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi adalah memiliki sertifikat kompetensi yang diterbitkan oleh Badan Nasional Sertifikat Profesi. Program Diploma III Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Lambung Mangkurat sebagai lembaga yang akan menjadikan mahasiswa yang terampil dan produktif merupakan objek dimana lembaga pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan. Kegiatan Teknisi Uji Kompetensi Akuntansi ini dilakukan agar dapat memberikan uji sertifikasi guna mengukur tingkat penguasaan kompetensi tenaga akuntansi di program keahlian keuangan dan agar mahasiswa memiliki kesiapan kerja dengan sertifikat uji kompetensi teknisi akuntansi sebagai portofolio sertifikat pendamping ijazah. Kegiatan ini melibatkan sebanyak 110 orang mahasiswa Program Diploma III Akuntansi angkatan 2022.Hasil akhir yang didapat dari pengabdian ini adalah adanya peningkatan atensi, minat dan pemahan yang menjadi motivasi perserta untukg mengikuti seluruh aktivitas pendampingan uji kompetensi teknisis akuntansi yang dapat dilihat berdasarkan nilai terbaik semua unit yang diujikan selalu lebih dari 50%. Selain itu, berdasarkan tanggapan dari para peserta kepada penyelenggara kegiatan dan wawancara dengan reviewer kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program ini diharapkan terus berlanjut karena berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas lulusan program Diploma III Akuntansi di Lambung Mangkurat.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Low Back Pain merupakan masalah kesehatan yang umum terjadi pada pekerja terutama pada pekerja yang menggunakan tenaga fisik, petani juga dapat mengalami masalah nyeri punggung bawah atau LBP yang dapat diakibatkan karena pekerjaan petani yang menggunakan banyak gerakan fisik, penanganan beban yang dilakukan secara berulang tanpa memperhatikan posisi tubuh yang benar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Faktor-Faktor Penyebab Terjadinya Keluhan Nyeri Punggung Bawah Pada Komunitas Petani Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bermani Ulu, Curup. Metode: Desain pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasional analitik dengan pendekatan Cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dengan metode nonprobability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling, responden adalah 95 petani yang ada di Kecamatan Bermani Ulu. Uji statistik pada penelitian ini menggunakan Analisa bivariat uji chi-square. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa Sebagian besar dari responden 64,2 % berjenis kelamin laki-laki, Sebagian besar dari responden 60 % memiliki masa kerja > 5 tahun, Sebagian besar dari responden 69,5 % melakukan posisi kerja tidak ergonomi dan Sebagian besar dari responden 67,4 % merasakan Keluhan Nyeri Punggung Bawah dengan nyeri berat. Dari hasil Analisa bivariat diketahui adanya hubungan antara Jenis Kelamin dan Keluhan Nyeri Punggung Bawah dengan nilai p value 0,000 < α = 0,05, Hubungan Masa Kerja dan Keluhan Nyeri Punggung Bawah dengan nilai p value 0,000 < α = 0,05 dan Hubungan Posisi Kerja dan Keluhan Nyeri Punggung Bawah dengan nilai p value 0,000 < α = 0,05. Kesimpulan: Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan dapat penerapan pendidikan kesehatan kepada petani sehingga dapat meningkatkan mutu pelayanan pada komunitas pekerja tani dan program PTM dan anggota keluarga agar dapat memperhatikan pentingnya merawat anggota keluarga yang bekerja sebagai petani yang beresiko menderita Low Back Pain atau nyeri punggung bawah.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarkat yang telah dilaksanakan selama 3 hari pada tanggal 12, 13 dan 14 Agustus 2024 ini adalah untuk penguatan Self Eficacy pada siswa slow learner yang tergabung pada kelas Inklusif dengan bahan materi yaitu Basic English atau English Literacy dan Numeracy. Pelatihan penguatan Self Eficacy dan English Literacy dan Numeracy dilaksanakan dalam durasi 3 pertemuan dan terdiri dari beberapa sesi. Metode- metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, kelompok diskusi dan konseling, games serta vocabulary challenges. Pelatihan ini berisi tentang pengenalan Self Eficay Training, Generasi Z cinta Literasi dan English vocabulary. Untuk mengukur kegiatan berhasil atau tidak pelaksana PKM menggunakan tes Bahasa inggris dan interview. Hasil capaian yang diperoleh adalah terlaksananya pelatihan penguatan Self Eficacy, dalam hal ini terlihat slow learner yang mengikuti kegiatan yang awalnya tidak mau mengerjakan tugas berbahasa inggris setelah diberikan penguatan self efficacy slow learner dengan jumlah 20 siswa mengumpulkan tugas yang sudah di perintahkan sesuai dengan waktu yang sudah ditentukan dan Peningkatan dalam memahami Bahasa Inggris dalam kata hingga kalimat sangat sederhana serta peningkatan dalam mengenal angka atau simbol dengan menggunakan Bahasa Inggris, dalam hal ini dibuktikan dari total 20 slow learners yang tergabung pada kelas khusus terdapat 12 siswa yang bisa menjawab dengan minimal skor yaitu 70 sesuai dengan standar KKM pada kurikulum sekolah. Kemudian, 8 siswa lagi mendapatkan skor dibawah KKM yang artinya belum memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Pada pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini juga ada 2 dosen Unpari yang dibantu oleh 3 mahasiswa yang sudah memiliki kemampuan English for young learner sangat baik dengan dibuktikan ketiga nya lulus Mata Kuliah English for Primary Learner.
