Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP) based on the ADI model and experiments in training scientific argumentation skills. Learning tools include teaching modules, LKPD, infographics and scientific argumentation tests. The development of learning tools uses a 4D development model, which consists of Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate, but in the implementation of this research it only focuses on validation testing at the disseminate stage. The research sample included 15 students in class VIII C at UPTD SMPN 1 Sepulu, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, it was found that the learning tools developed had an average validity of each for the teaching module, namely 95%, LKPD 93%, infographics 92%, scientific argumentation test 92% with very feasible criteria and reliability respectively, namely the teaching module 96 %, LKPD 96%, infographics 96%, and scientific argumentation test questions 95% with very reliable criteria. The results of the N-Gain Score for students' scientific argumentation were 0.7 with high criteria. Average readability is 99% with very readable criteria. The average student response was 92% with very good criteria

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran CBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMPN 2 Rejoso, Nganjuk pada materi Ekologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu pretest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu semua siswa kelas VII Tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling jenis purposive sampling yang terdiri dari kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan masing-masing sebanyak 25 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan angket respons siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kelas eksperimen setelah penerapan model pembelajaran CBL sebanyak 72% mengalami peningkatan dengan kriteria tinggi dan 28% mengalami peningkatan kriteria sedang. Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan nilai α 0,05, rata-rata persentase observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 98,99% dengan kriteria sangat baik, dan hasil respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran sebesar 72,33% termasuk dalam kriteria baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan argumentasi siswa SMP AL-Baisuny Kokop pada meteri tata surya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan 28 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan sebanyak 5 soal essal yang meliputi indikator klaim, data, dan pembenaran. Hasil penelitian keterampilan argumentasi di SMP AL-Baisuny Kokop dengan rata-rata 64,44 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VII sudah cukup dalam memberikan argumentasi terhadap permasalahan. Hasil indikator yang diperoleh dengan klaim 80,71 yang tergolong pada kualifikasi baik, Hal ini menunjukkan siswa sudah baik dalam memberikan klaim. data dengan rata-rata 69,28 tergolong pada kualifikasi cukup, hal ini menunjukkan siswa mampu memberikan data pendukung terhadap klaim yang diberikan, dan pembenaran dengan rata-rata 43,33 yang tergolong pada kualifikasi kurang, hal ini menunjukkan siswa kurang mampu dalam memberikan alasan terhadap klaim dan data yang diberikan.

Abstract

Miniature Puzzle 3 Dimensions (MP3D) is one form of learning media presentation that has been systematically assembled in the form of a miniature collaborated with puzzles so that learning on solar system material grade VII can be conveyed properly and clearly. The purpose of this study was to produce MP3D media and determine the level of feasibility and student response to MP3D media. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE development model. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMPN 3 Kamal with samples of VII-B and VII-D classes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were media expert validation sheets, science teachers and student response questionnaires. The results showed that: 1) The results of the validity of the media aspect amounted to 94.37% and the reliability value of 97.38% with a very valid and very reliable category. 2) Student responses to MP3D media in 3 trial groups, obtained a percentage value of 88.55% in individual trials of 2 students, 88.81% in small group trials of 8 students and 91.27% in large group trials of 32 students, the three trials had a very good category. We concluded that the using of MP3D media is feasible to use in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in learning outcomes between the control and experimental classes by using the integrated nature of science awareness training learning model. This research uses Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research was conducted at SMP Al-Kholiliyah Bangkalan using a simple random sampling technique, so that the sample used was 20 students in each class. The learning achievement test is based on Bloom's taxonomy with cognitive levels C1 to C6 in the form of an essay totaling 6 questions. The hypothesis analysis technique uses the free sample t test. based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: 1. The learning model of awareness training integrated with nature of science has an effect on student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the results of the free sample t test obtained a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. 2. The test results for the experimental class were better than the control class with an average score of 58.35 for the experimental class, while for the control class it was 24.95 with a percentage difference of 57,41%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the feasibility of Rembang local wisdom-based treasure of science media in integrated science, and (2) studend responses to Rembang local wisdom-based treasure of science media in integrated science. This study uses the Borg and Gall research model which uses 5 development steps, namely research and information collecting, planning, development of preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, and main product revision. Trial data collection techniques used are interview techniques, questionnarires and documentation, while the data analysis of student responses. The results showed that the terasure of science media based on Rembangblocal wisdom in integrated science learning that was developed was categorized as very feasible to use (valid) as a learning medium fo SMP/MTs students with an average material feasibility assessment of 93,33%, media feasibility of 90,83% and student responses of 87%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' concept understanding. This research method is RD research with a one group pretest pottest development design. The development model used is the ADDIE model. The population of this study were all students of class VII MTsN Bangkalan with a sample of class VII-H students totaling 29 students selected through purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, observations, and tests. 1) The results showed that the validity of the media aspect was 93.47% and the material aspect was 91.67% with a very valid category for both aspects. 2) The result of the N-Gain value of students' concept understanding is 0.75 with a high category.

Abstract

This study examined the validity of a science comic book integrated with Islamic values. The development of the book followed the steps of ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The product was validated by an expert in Islamic studies, an expert in instructional media, an expert in instructional material, and a science teacher. A questionnaire was used to obtain data validation results. The expert validation results showed a score of 3.8 for the integrated Islamic values, 3.5 for the material, 3.5 for the book function as instructional media, and 3.7 for the product practicality, with all scores falling into the "very valid" category. At the implementation stage, the book was tried on a student individual, a small group of students, and a larger group of students to conduct practicality of the product from students’ responses. The students’ responses showed scores of 86.25% (individual trials), 84.44% (small-group trials), and 85.94% (large-group trials), with all scores falling into the very good category. These results indicate that the science comic book integrated with Islamic values can be implemented in the science classroom. At the evaluation stage, formative evaluation was conducted. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, peningkatan pemahaman konsep peserta didik, dan respons peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran monopoli berbasis role playing pada materi bumi dan tata surya kelas VII SMP. Desain pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 peserta didik kelas VIII. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 14 peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Socah. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar validasi media, tes pemahaman konsep dan angket respons peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Media pembelajaran monopoli berbasis  role playing valid digunakan yang memiliki hasil rata-rata validitas pada aspek media 91,96% dengan kategori sangat valid dan rata-rata hasil validasi aspek materi sebesar 94,44% dengan kategori sangat valid. (2) hasil pemahaman konsep peserta didik mengalami peningkatan  dengan skor N-gain sebesar 0,73 dengan kategori tinggi. (3) Nilai rata-rata hasil respons peserta didik sebesar 86,10% dengan kategori sangat positif. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran monopoli berbasis role playing valid digunakan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik.
