Abstract

Bimbingan dan konseling merupakan hal yang harus ada di sekolah. Kehadiran bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah diharapkan dapat membantu siswa mencapai kemandirian dan mengembangkan potensinya. Kemampuan siswa dalam mencapai kemandirian dan mengembangkan potensi diri menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan berhasil pada siswa tersebut. Tujuan penelitian adalah menguraikan urgensi kerjasama personil bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Metode penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Keberhasilan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah tentunya tidak terlepas dari kerjasama tenaga bimbingan konseling di sekolah. Tenaga bimbingan konseling harus bekerja sama dalam menciptakan keberhasilan konseling. Keberhasilan konseling juga merupakan prestasi bagi sebuah sekolah. Siswa di sekolah tersebut akan mengembangkan potensinya dengan sebaik-baiknya.

Abstract

Abstract Job satisfaction is an important thing to be achieved by people who are in the work phase. This is because job satisfaction will lead to the achievement of comfort in work and will also have an effect on the good results of the work. One profession that requires job satisfaction is TPQ teachers. TPQ teachers are educators who deliver their students to skills in religion and society. Therefore, he must have job satisfaction to deliver students to these skills. However, what happened in the field was that not many religious scholars were interested in becoming TPQ teachers. And there is an assumption that TPQ teachers in some areas are not so prosperous. And how job satisfaction TPQ teachers have had so far.  This research is classified as a type of descriptive research. Researchers distributed the instrument in the form of a google form to several TPQ teachers in the city of Bukittingi and found a research sample of 100 TPQ teachers selected with total sampling techniques. The data was processed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that the job satisfaction of TPQ teachers was generally in the satisfactory category. Based on the results of this study, services can be provided to improve job statisfaction. With individual counseling services, it is hoped that TPQ teachers' job satisfaction can be further increased. In the implementation of individual counseling, several professional techniques will be applied. AbstrakKepuasan kerja adalah hal yang penting untuk dicapai oleh orang yang berada di fase bekerja. Hal ini disebabkan karena kepuasan kerja akan mengantarkan pada tercapainya kenyamanan dalam bekerja dan juga akan berefek pada bagusnya hasil pekerjaan tersebut. Salah satu profesi yang memerlukan kepuasan kerja adalah guru TPQ. Guru TPQ adalah pendidik yang mengantarkan siswanya kepada keterampilan dalam beragama dan bermasyarakat. Maka dari itu ia harus memiliki kepuasan kerja untuk menghantarkan siswa pada keterampilan tersebut. Namun yang terjadi di lapangan tidak banyak sarjana agama yang tertarik untuk menjadi guru TPQ. Dan adanya anggapan bahwa guru TPQ di beberapa daerah tidak begitu sejahtera. Dan bagaimana kepuasan kerja yang dimiliki oleh guru TPQ selama ini. Penelitian ini tergolong pada jenis penelitian deskriptif. Peneliti menyebarkan instrument dalam bentuk google form kepada beberapa guru TPQ di kota Bukittingi dan didapati sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 guru TPQ yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Data diolah menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja guru TPQ pada umumnya berada pada kategori memuaskan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini layanan yang dapat diberikan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru TPQ adalah pemberian layanan bimbingan konseling. Layanan yang dapat diberikan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru TPQ adalah layanan konseling perorangan. Dengan layanan konseling perorangan diharapkan kepuasan kerja guru TPQ dapat lebih meningkat. Dalam pelaksanaan konseling perorangan pun akan diterapkan beberapa teknik professional.

Abstract

This study aims to see how group guidance with a client-centred therapy approach in early childhood improves prosocial behaviour. This study uses library research method. Data analysis in this study used a narrative synthesis analysis. The results of this study indicate that prosocial behaviour is behaviour that is displayed when interacting with other people where children spontaneously help others. Prosocial behaviour is displayed by early childhood to the friends, parents, teachers and the surrounding community. Group guidance with a client-centred therapy approach provides counselling techniques to make early childhood become individuals who can understand their potential and actualize their social relationships. In the implementation of group guidance, early childhood will interact and communicate with each other; the counsellor can ask them to practice these prosocial behaviours. Either by answering questions if (...) then (...) or by telling how he should act when faced with a situation that requires displaying this prosocial behaviour.

Abstract

Counseling is a service provided by professional staff to individuals or groups for the development of effective daily living. However, the phenomenon that occurs in the field is that the implementation of Guidance and Counseling in schools is carried out with an unclear pattern, the lack of clarity on the pattern that must be implemented has an impact on the bad image of guidance and counseling, giving rise to misconceptions about the implementation of counseling guidance. The emergence of negative perceptions regarding the implementation of Guidance Counseling, various criticisms emerged as a form of disappointment with the counselor's performance, resulting in misunderstandings. Misconceptions are defined as understandings that conflict with the concepts put forward by experts. So, the aim of the research is to describe the problem of misconceptions about guidance and counseling. This type of research is a literature study. by searching, studying and analyzing theoretical references relevant to the problems found. The literature review method is a series of activities related to library data collection methods, reading and recording and managing research materials. Other problems that often cause misconceptions about counseling guidance in schools are: (1) counseling guidance teachers are often seen as school police, (2) counseling guidance is often thought of as a medium for giving advice, (3) counseling guidance is thought to only deal with cases of problematic students. , (4) guidance and counseling teachers must be more active in dealing with student problems, and (5) the profession as a guidance and counseling teacher can be done by anyone

Abstract

In the evolving landscape of Society 5.0, the imperative for students to think critically has become paramount. The acquisition of high order thinking skills (HOTS) plays a pivotal role in nurturing students to become independent, creative thinkers. These skills, encompassing analysis, evaluation, and the generation of innovative ideas, are essential for adapting to the dynamic demands of the modern era. However, the transition to HOTS-based learning poses challenges for students accustomed to conventional teaching methods. This study, conducted among 265 selected students from SMP Negeri 30 Padang using a stratified random sampling technique, employed a questionnaire for data collection. Descriptive statistical analysis revealed that 77% of students exhibited HOTS in performing tasks, 77% in answering exams, and 76% in actively engaging with the learning process. Moreover, gender disparities were observed in HOTS-based learning, with 74% of male students demonstrating proficiency compared to 79% of female students. The findings underscore the necessity for educational institutions to address the readiness of students for HOTS-based learning methodologies. Recognizing the gender-based variations in HOTS proficiency, schools are urged to implement targeted strategies to enhance students' critical thinking skills, ensuring optimal outcomes in the learning process. This research contributes valuable insights into the ongoing efforts required to cultivate HOTS-based learning environments in secondary education.

Abstract

Kekerasan dalam Rumah Tangga (KDRT) merupakan salah satu masalah sosial yang meresahkan di seluruh dunia. Dampak yang dirasakan oleh korban tidak hanya penderitaan fisik dan seksual namun juga penurunan kapasitas mereka untuk bekerja, mengurus keluarga, memberikan kontribusi kepada masyarakat, dan bahkan meninggal dunia. KDRT merupakan masalah serius yang dapat berdampak signifikan pada kesejahteraan psikologis anak-anak yang menjadi korban. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara faktual kondisi psikologis anak korban KDRT. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan intrumen berupa instrumen untuk mengidentifikasi korban KDRT yang dilaksanakan terhadap anak korban KDRT di Sumatera Barat. Pengumpulan data dari seluruh anak korban KDRT di Sumatera Barat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian jika dilihat dari bahwa sebagian besar skor jawaban responden berada pada kategori sedang (61,83%). Namun demikian, skor jawaban responden yang berada pada kategori tinggi (23,42%). Sementara itu, terdapat skor jawaban responden yang berada pada kategori rendah (14,74%). Berdasarkan paparan data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebaran data kondisi psikologis anak korban KDRT di Sumatera barat dominan berada pada kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, diperlukan langkah-langkah yang lebih efektif dalam melindungi anak-anak ini serta memberikan dukungan psikologis yang tepat guna untuk membantu mereka pulih dari dampak psikologis yang mereka alami akibat kekerasan dalam rumah tangga.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to reduce the birth rate of stunted babies in Nagari Kinari, Bukit Sundi District, Solok Regency, through mindfulness training and health education for pregnant women. Stunting is a serious health problem affecting children's physical and cognitive development. One of the main causes of stunting is stress in pregnant women, which impacts fetal development. Mindfulness training was introduced to help pregnant women manage stress, thus creating a healthier environment for fetal growth. This activity was carried out for two days on August 3-4, 2024, in Nagari Kinari, involving 30 pregnant women as participants. The program included health counseling, mindfulness practice sessions, discussions, and consultations with health workers. The program results showed a significant decrease in participants' stress levels and increased knowledge about pregnancy health and the importance of stress management. The mindfulness therapy taught proved effective and can be applied by the participants in their daily lives. In conclusion, this training contributes to efforts to prevent the birth of stunted babies. It is expected to be a model intervention applied in other areas with similar problems.

Abstract

This research wants to assess self-confidence related to student public speaking skills among BK UNP students, because good public speaking is supported by good self-confidence. The research was carried out using a mixing method using research instruments: questionnaires supported by interviews and observations from 50 students taken at random. The questionnaire has been validated with content validity and empirical validity and produced a validity index of 0.85 and a reliability index of 0.90. This research concludes that BK UNP students have good self-confidence when doing public speaking. From the results of interviews and observations conducted on students, it was found that students should have preparation for appearing in public, both in terms of preparing the material they want to convey and their needs when appearing, overcoming anxiety before appearing, and knowing some common words used by listeners. Due to the limitations of researchers, we only discuss one factor that supports female students' public speaking, namely self-confidence. It is recommended that future researchers conduct research related to public speaking skills in more depth and breadth by looking at other factors that influence public speaking skills and the methods used to improve public speaking skills.

Abstract

Education for children with special needs is crucial to support their self-confidence in following an educational path according to their intellectual abilities. This research began with a problem found at SLB Negeri 1 Padang Panjang, where teachers were still using general textbooks to teach children with intellectual disabilities. In contrast, teachers should use specialized teaching guides for children with special needs. This study aims to explore Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for children with intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri 1 Padang Panjang. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at SLB Negeri 1 Padang Panjang, using data collection methods including observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique used involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. To ensure the validity of the data, perseverance and triangulation were employed. The research results show that Islamic religious education for children with intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri 1 Padang Panjang is quite effective. Before conducting the lessons, teachers adjust the material to the students' abilities. The teaching methods the teachers use include lectures, question-and-answer, and practice exercises. The obstacles in the learning process include a lack of support from some parents. At the same time, the supporting factors are the guidance and good cooperation between most parents and the school.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the phenomenon of academic burnout that occurs in students. Students experience symptoms of academic burnout such as boredom with schoolwork, falling asleep easily during lessons, ignoring assignments given by teachers, difficulty remembering material, unable to complete assignments so that their academic achievement decreases. One of the factors suspected of influencing student academic burnout is peer social support. This study aims to: (1) describe peer social support, (2) describe student academic burnout, (3) test the relationship between peer social support and student academic burnout. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational research type. The population used in this study were 284 students in grade VII of the 2023/2024 academic year at SMP Negeri Kota Padang, the number of samples in this study was 167 students. Sampling used the proportional random sampling technique. Data collection used peer social support instruments and academic burnout instruments using the Likert model scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and product moment correlation techniques. The results of this study indicate that (1) peer social support is in the moderate category with an average percentage of 66% (2) student academic burnout is in the low category with an average percentage of 49% (3) there is a significant relationship between peer social support and student academic burnout with a calculated r correlation value of -0.303 with a significance level of 0.000 at a weak relationship level. This means that if students have high peer social support, the lower the student's academic burnout. Conversely, the lower the peer social support, the higher the student's academic burnout. The urgency of this study is to have a value of benefit for teachers to be able to recognize student academic burnout. Based on the results of the study, guidance and counseling teachers can make policies and provide services such as information services, individual counseling services, and group guidance services to increase peer social support and reduce the level of high-category student academic burnout.
