Abstract

Pengolahan air limbah adalah komponen krusial dalam manajemen lingkungan, terutama di tengah pertumbuhan populasi dan urbanisasi yang pesat. Perencanaan ini bertujuan merencanakan desain Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) untuk Desa Ngaresrejo, Kecamatan Sukodono, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, guna menangani masalah limbah domestik dengan sistem pengelolaan yang belum memadai. Proses perencanaan mencakup empat tahapa: persiapan, pelaksanaan, analisis data, dan penyusunan laporan. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil analisis menunjukkan debit air limbah total sebesar 41.799 L/detik atau 3.611,473 m³/hari, dengan kualitas air limbah yang tidak sepenuhnya memenuhi baku mutu yang ditetapkan. Alternatif pengolahan yang dipilih meliputi bar screen, sumur pengumpul, grease trap, oxidation ditch, dan sludge drying bed. Sistem pengolahan ini mampu menyisihkan TSS hingga 1,542 mg/L, TDS 152,1 mg/L, BOD 2,48 mg/L, COD 6,076 mg/L, dan minyak lemak 1,865 mg/L, semuanya memenuhi standar baku mutu air limbah. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi dampak lingkungan negatif dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat Desa Ngaresrejo.

Abstract

Ibu hamil sangat rentan terhadap berbagai penyakit. Infeksi HIV pada ibu hamil dapat menimbulkan ancaman serius terhadap kesehatan ibu dan janin. Selain berisiko tertular HIV, bayi yang dilahirkan dari ibu yang hidup dengan HIV juga menghadapi ancaman kematian. Rendahnya tingkat kepatuhan ibu hamil dalam melakukan tes HIV menjadi kendala utama dalam upaya pencegahan penularan HIV secara vertikal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh ketidaktahuan akan status HIV dan ketidakaksesan terhadap terapi antiretroviral (ARV) selama masa kehamilan. Tujuan:mengetahui Hubungan antara sikap ibu hamil dengan tindakan screening HIV AIDS di Puskesmas Kalibaru.Penelitian menggunakan desain analitik deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi seluruh ibu hamil yang datang di puskesmas kalibaru kulon dan pengambilan sample secara accidental sampling sehingga didapatkan sample sebanyak 30 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan quesioner. Analisa dengan uji chi square menggunakan SPSS 22 for windows. Hasil penelitian hampir seluruhnya responden bersikap positif terhadap tindakan screening sebanyak 25 responden (83%) dan bersedia dilakukan screening test. Hasil analisa menggunakan uji fisher exact testdiperoleh data Asymp. Sig. (2-tiled)= 0,000, alpha < 0,05 yang berarti ada hubungan signifikan antara sikap ibu hanil dengan tindakan screening di Puskesmas Kalibaru Kulon. Tindakan screening perlu di sosialisasikan oleh tenaga kesehatan terutama pada saat melaksanakan ANC, dengan di berikanya penyuluhan dan konseling diharapkan ibu hamil akan mengetahui dan memahami tentang HIV. Dan pada akhirnya para ibu hamil akan bersikap positif melakukan pemerikaan screening HIV AIDS. Kata kunci : sikap ibu hamil, tindakan screening, HIV-AIDS

Abstract

The results of this study can be summarized as namely: 1. The quality of the product is good, the customer agrees that the price and satisfaction of the customer are satisfied. 2. Product quality and price have a positive effect on customer satisfaction in Aneka Jaya Pematangsiantar Printing. 3. There is a high and positive relationship between product quality and price to customer satisfaction. Then the high and low customer satisfaction can be explained by product quality and price. 4. H0 hypothesis is rejected, meaning that product quality and price have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction in Aneka Jaya Pematangsiantar Printing both simultaneously and partially. Keywords: Product Quality, Price and Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

Pajak merupakan sumber utama pendapatan negara, dengan kontribusi terbesar dalam APBN. Untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan wajib pajak, Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DJP) membentuk Relawan Pajak untuk Negeri (Renjani) bekerja sama dengan Tax Center di berbagai perguruan tinggi. Relawan pajak bertugas memberikan asistensi pelaporan SPT tahunan serta edukasi perpajakan kepada masyarakat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan asistensi pelayanan wajib pajak orang pribadi (WPOP) dalam pelaporan SPT tahunan melalui e-filing, dengan melibatkan relawan pajak di KPP Pratama Jember. Asistensi pelayanan yang dilakukan oleh relawan pajak tersebut nantinya akan dikaji dari perspektif Etika Bisnis Islam., yaitu prinsip tauhid, keadilan, tanggung jawab, kejujuran, dan kebermanfaatan. Metode yang di gunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu menggunakan metode Service Learning (CS). Metode Service Learning merupakan sebuah pendekatan edukasi yang tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek akademik, tetapi juga melibatkan peran aktif dalam kegiatan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan teknik penyuluhan dan pendampingan, tahapan pengabdian ini meliputi: tahap pendampingan/bimbingan teknis, tahap pelaksanaan asistensi, dan tekahir tahap evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa relawan pajak telah menerapkan prinsip etika bisnis Islam dalam kegitatan pelayanannya. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas layanan dan edukasi perpajakan guna meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuahn wajib pajak kedepannya.

Abstract

Air bersih merupakan sumber kebutuhan dasar bagi semua bentuk kehidupan. Kualitas air harus dipastikan sebelum digunakan dan sumber air harus dipantau secara teratur agar dapat memastikan kesehatannya Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis kualitas air bersih 5 sampel dari berbagai sumber dengan parameter seperti Kesadahan Total (TH), Nitrat (NO3-), Sulfat (SO42-), Padatan Terlarut (TDS), dan Logam Mangan (Mn) berdasarkan prosedur yang digunakan berdasarkan Standart Methods for Water and Wastewater APHA, 23rd edition tahun 2017 hasilnya dibandingkan dengan baku mutu PERMENKES No 32 Tahun 2017. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sampel A, B, C, dan E tidak memenuhi standar baku mutu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kualitas air bersih dari sebagian besar sampel masih memerlukan pengolahan lebih lanjut untuk mencapai baku mutu yang ditetapkan. Sedangkan sampel D telah memenuhi baku mutu.

Abstract

The wound is the damage to body tissues caused by various factors such as accidents, sharp object scratches, etc. Proper care is necessary to accelerate the wound healing process. Topical medications, such as gel preparations, are commonly used for wounds. Kombucha SCOBY is believed to contain bioactive compounds that can accelerate the wound healing process, making it a potential active ingredient in gel preparations. This research aims to determine the characteristics of kombucha SCOBY gel with various concentration variations. SCOBY is obtained from kombucha fermentation using green tea, sugar, and kombucha culture. Preparing kombucha SCOBY gel involves using carbomer 940, methyl paraben, triethanolamine, glycerin, and SCOBY kombucha. The concentration variations of kombucha SCOBY gel include 0%, 2%, 4%, 8%, 10%, and 12%. Each formula undergoes physical characteristic tests including an organoleptic test, hedonic test, homogeneity test, pH test, spreadability test, and adhesiveness test. Data obtained after physical characteristic tests of the gel preparations are analyzed descriptively. Based on the conducted research, it was found that kombucha SCOBY gel preparations with concentration variations of 0%, 2%, 4%, 8%, 10%, and 12% exhibited different characteristics. The higher the gel concentration, the more acidic the gel's aroma, the more liquid the texture, and the more intense the color. SCOBY added to the gel preparation can increase the pH value, adhesiveness, and spreadability of the gel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions, the effect of promotion on purchasing decisions, the effect of trust on purchasing decisions, the effect of convenience on purchasing decisions, the effect of price on purchasing decisions, the effect of product quality, promotion, trust, convenience and price on purchasing decisions, the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions through brand image, the influence of Promotion on Purchasing Decisions through Brand Image, the influence of Trust on Purchasing Decisions through Brand Image, the influence of Convenience on Purchasing Decisions through Brand Image, the influence of Price on Purchasing Decisions through Brand Image, the influence of Purchasing Decisions on Brand Image and the influence between Product Quality, Promotion, Trust, Convenience and Price on Purchasing Decisions through Brand Image in the Shopee marketplace. This research uses quantitative research. The population in this study were Batam City students who used the Shopee marketplace. Researchers used the hair method, so that a sample of 300 respondents was obtained with a formula of 1 question for 10 respondents. The sampling approach in this study was nonprobability sampling using incidental sampling. Independent variables include product quality (X1), promotion (X2), trust (X3), convenience (X4), price (X5). then the dependent variable of this study is the purchase decision (Y), and the intervening variable is Brand Image (Z). The data collection method used a questionnaire, then the data was analyzed using the Statistical Program for Social Science. The results show H1, H2, H3, H8, H11 are rejected because the Sig. value is greater than 0.05. Then the results show H4, H5, H6, H7, H9, H10, H12, H13 are accepted because the Sig. value is smaller than 0.05.

Abstract

Seaweed is a marine commodity with high economic value and is widely used in the food industry. However, its high water content, cultivation environment conditions, and post-harvest handling make seaweed susceptible to microbial contamination, including Escherichia coli, necessitating quality testing to ensure food safety. Previous studies have focused more on general microbiological quality, without emphasizing the identification of Escherichia coli or the determination of Total Plate Count (TPL) as an indicator of the number of mesophilic aerobic bacteria. To fill this gap, this study was conducted to identify Escherichia coli using qualitative tests. There are two stages of testing: a presumptive test using MMGM media and a confirmatory test using TBX media. While TPL was determined using the duplo dilution method, the pour plate technique, and the plate count. The presumptive test results showed that all seven samples were suspected to be positive for Escherichia coli, but were declared negative in the confirmatory test. Meanwhile, the TPL results showed that two samples exceeded the standard, namely sample D and the Escherichia coli sample.

Abstract

Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonate (LAS) is an anionic surfactant with the potential to cause environmental pollution. One effective bioremediation strategy to mitigate this pollution is the use of endophytic bacteria. This study aims to evaluate the resistance ability of endophytic bacteria isolated from the roots of water hyacinth against LAS. The research was conducted as a laboratory-based experimental study using a Completely Randomized Design with five replications for each isolated endophytic bacterium. Bacterial resistance to LAS was tested in a liquid medium containing 10 ppm LAS and incubated for 14 days. The resistance level was determined based on the bacterial optical density (OD) measured using UV-VIS spectrophotometry. The results identified four endophytic bacterial isolates belonging to the genera Bacillus, Streptomyces, Micrococcus, and Neisseria, all of which exhibited resistance to LAS. The highest resistance level was observed in Streptomyces with an average OD value of 0.728 ± 0.11, while the lowest resistance was found in Bacillus with an average OD value of 0.361 ± 0.04.

Abstract

Tiung Tanjung seeds pepper are believed to have dormant properties that can be detrimental to farmers during planting. The aim of this study was to find out the correct method of breaking the dormancy on Tiung Tanjung pepper. The study was designed with a two-stage nested design, the first stage was the seed storage time of 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 weeks. The second stage was a dormant breakdown method consisting of 8 treatments namely control, aquades, warm water (40 °C), ionic water, IAA 100 ppm, IAA 200 ppm, KNO3 0,1% and KNO3 0.5%. Each unit of experiment used 3 repetitions with 25 seeds planted using Top of Paper method (TP). Parameters observed were the vigor index, growth speed, germination,maximum germination potential, fresh seed, seed mortality rate, and growth performance. The results of the study showed that the treatment of Tiung pepper seed immersed in 0.5% KNO3 for 24 hours was able to break the dormancy at 7 weeks after storage with germination values increased to 80%. Treatment with 0.1% KNO3 could break the dormancy in the 9th week. Dormancy breakdown treatments with aquades, warm water (40 °C), ionic water, IAA 100 ppm, and IAA 200 ppm had not been able to break the dormancy of Tiung pepper seeds up to 11 weeks of storage. Benih cabai Tiung Tanjung diyakini memiliki sifat dormansi yang dapat merugikan petani saat penanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode pematahan dormansi yang tepat pada cabai Tiung Tanjung. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan rancangan tersarang dua tingkat, tingkat pertama adalah lama masa simpan benih yaitu 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, dan 11 minggu simpan dan tingkat kedua adalah metode pematahan dormansi yang terdiri dari 8 perlakuan yaitu kontrol, akuades, air hangat (40 °C), air ion, IAA 100 ppm, IAA 200 ppm, KNO3 0,1% dan KNO3 0,5%. Setiap satuan percobaan menggunakan 3 ulangan. Setiap ulangan menggunakan 25 benih yang ditanam dengan metode uji di atas kertas (UDK). Parameter yang diamati adalah indeks vigor, kecepatan tumbuh, daya berkecambah, potensi tumbuh maksimum, benih segar tidak tumbuh, dan tingkat kematian benih, dan performa kecambah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan perendaman benih cabai Tiung dalam KNO3 0,5% selama 24 jam mampu mematahkan dormansi pada 7 minggu setelah simpan dengan nilai daya berkecambah mencapai 80%. Perlakuan dengan KNO3 0,1% dapat mematahkan dormansi pada minggu ke-9. Perlakuan pematahan dormansi dengan akuades, air hangat (40 °C), air ion, IAA 100 ppm dan IAA 200 ppm belum mampu mematahkan dormansi benih cabai Tiung hingga 11 minggu simpan.
