Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran brain based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Palu. Jenis penelitian adalah Quasi-ekperimental, dengan desain penelitian adalah nonequivalent pretest-postest group design. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 36 orang peserta didik kelas Ekperimen dan 36 orang peserta didik kelas kontrol. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran brain based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dilakukan tes uraian berjumlah 6 soal. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji Normalitas, Uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis dan uji effect size. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil postest kelas Ekperimen sebesar 85,50 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 71,06. Uji Normalitas posttest kelas Ekperimen diketahui nilai sig sebesar 0,091 > 0,05 dan kelas kontrol nilai sig sebesar 0,077 > 0,05. Uji homogenitas kelas postest yaitu diketahui nilai signifikansi (sig) sebesar 0,241 > 0,05. Uji Hipotesis (Uji-t) kelas postest nilai sig (2-sided prob) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Ho ditolak dan H1 di terima. Artinya ada pengaruh model pembelajaran brain based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Uji effect size  diperoleh  sebesar 2,61 dengan kategori efek sangat besar.

Abstract

This article aims to strengthen the discourse on integrated curriculum systems within Islamic education. The integration system in question incorporates physical education into the well-established pesantren (Islamic boarding school) framework. As a result of this integration, a Special Sports Class referred to as Kelas Khusus Olahraga (KKO) has emerged. KKO represents an innovative breakthrough initiated by NU Al Ma’ruf Senior High School in Kudus to provide education that aligns with contemporary needs, addressing the era's demands while accommodating students' interests and talents. KKO serves as an alternative response to the current challenges faced by Islamic educational institutions. Employing a library research method, this study explores how NU Al Ma’ruf Senior High School has developed an integrated curriculum model that aligns with Islamic teachings, embraces modern developments, and preserves cultural heritage. The integration model presented in this study constitutes a form of renewal in Islamic education, illustrating how institutions traditionally perceived as conservative are undergoing significant transformation to meet present-day educational needs. The aim of this study is to explore an integrated management model between Islamic religious education and physical education within the Special Sports Class.

Abstract

This research was conducted to know the level of effectiveness of implementing an integrated disaster mitigation module in science lessons in SMP affected Tsunami on student learning outcomes. This type of research is a weak experiment with a pre-experimental design. The population of this study was all class VIII SMP.N 10 Palu. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with the sample of this study being class VIII B as an experimental class with a total of 17 students. The learning outcome instrument is a multiple-choice test that has been validated through an expert validator. The learning outcomes test obtained explained that the average score of the posttest experimental class was 15.82, which was higher than the pretest experimental class, which was 12.24. Testing the t-test hypothesis, obtained count > ttable or 10.23 > 1.74 at the real level = 0.05. This means that the value of count is outside the area of ​​acceptance of H0. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in science (physics) towards the application of the integrated disaster mitigation module in science lessons.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kejadian miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika pada materi usaha dan energi. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Banggai Selatan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes diagnostik berformat three-tier. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh rata-rata miskonsepsi siswa pada materi usaha dan energi diklasifikasikan termasuk kategori tinggi karena persentase yang didapatkan > 61% yakni sebesar 71 %. Penyebab miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa yaitu karena kurangnnya keterampilan peserta didik dalam memahami materi, penyebab lainnya yaitu dari pengajar dan kurangnya minat serta antusia belajar peserta didik untuk mengikuti pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

The cultural diversity of the Kaili tribe holds significant potential for ethnophysics research. However, ethnophysics studies within the Kaili tribe’s culture remain limited. This study aims to explore ethnophysics in the movements and props of the Pamonte dance of the Kaili tribe in Central Sulawesi. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the Pamonte dance applies physical principles such as normal force, friction force, muscle force, thrust force, and Newton's laws. Additionally, concepts of potential energy, kinetic energy, velocity, and acceleration are evident in the dancers' body positions when bending, lifting, or walking according to the floor pattern. Concepts of torque, moment of inertia, pressure, translational motion, rotational motion, impulse, and momentum are also reflected through the dancers' movements and interactions with dance props such as toru.

Abstract

The digital transformation in education has become a key pillar in addressing the challenges of 21st-century learning. The integration of educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), online learning applications, artificial intelligence (AI), as well as virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), has fundamentally reshaped teaching and learning paradigms across various educational levels. This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital technologies in educational settings and examine their impact on the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. The research employs a literature review and surveys conducted among educators and students across several educational institutions in Indonesia. The findings indicate that the use of educational technologies significantly enhances student engagement, broadens access to learning resources, and enables more personalized and adaptive learning approaches. However, this transformation also faces several challenges, including limited infrastructure, the readiness of human resources, and the digital divide across regions. Therefore, a comprehensive strategy involving the government, educational institutions, and other stakeholders is necessary to ensure equitable and sustainable digital transformation in education. This study provides strategic recommendations for policy development and the enhancement of digital capacity within the national education sector.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini merespon permasalahan serius pengelolaan sampah di SMP Negeri 13 Palu, botol bekas air mineral dan kemasan makanan berserakan, menciptakan lingkungan yang tidak bersih dan kurang peduli terhadap pelestarian lingkungan. Siswa-siswi belum mengoptimalkan pengelolaan sampah, menyebabkan barang-barang bekas menjadi limbah. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan di sekolah melalui kreativitas dalam mengolah barang-barang bekas menjadi media pembelajaran IPA. Metode pemecahan dilakukan melalui dua tahap pelatihan, melibatkan guru dan siswa. Tahap pertama fokus pada pengenalan konsep pelestarian lingkungan hidup dan potensi barang bekas sebagai bahan media pembelajaran. Tahap kedua melibatkan penggunaan sampah organik sebagai bahan media pembelajaran. Hasil temuan saintifik mencakup peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan, kreativitas dalam pengelolaan sampah, dan penerapan konsep pembelajaran IPA. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi positif pada pelestarian lingkungan hidup dan pendidikan berkelanjutan di SMP Negeri 13 Palu, dengan guru dan siswa aktif dalam mengelola sampah secara kreatif. Simpulan dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa langkah-langkah ini dapat dijadikan model bagi sekolah-sekolah lain untuk mengatasi permasalahan serupa dan mendorong perubahan positif dalam budaya sekolah terkait pelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Pengelolaan Produk Badan Usaha Milik Desa Pada Desa Simpang Nibung Kecamatan Singkut Kabupaten. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang mengakibatkan tidak berjalanya BUMDes. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, pengumpulan data berupa dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha yang dikelola Badan Usaha Milik Desa di Desa Simpang Nibung yaitu: mengenai pengelolaan BUMDes Yakusa sudah terbilang cukup efekif namun kendala dalam pengelolaan BUMDes Yakusa yakni terbatas modal, dan SDM yang masih kurang, rendahnya tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat desa. Pengelolaan BUMDes Yakusa ini sudah dikatakan Sejahtera dalam pandangan Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop learning media for passive electronic components assisted by Livewire simulator to increase student creativity in basic electronics material. This research was conducted in the Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. Development research time for 8 months. The subjects of this research are physics education students who program basic electronics courses. The measured change is the validation value of learning media development from expert respondents and students. To increase student creativity is measured through a creativity questionnaire. This research is a type of research and development or known as Research and Development (R&D). This research uses several stages of research: (1) Potential and problems; (2) Data collection; (3) Product design; (4) Design validation; (5) Design revision; (6) Product trial; (7) Product revision; (8) Usage trial; (9) Product revision; and (10) Mass production. From the results of the study, the N-gain value of the pretest and posttest data was 0.47 or N-gain in the medium category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the development of used electronic component media can increase student creativity on the subject of basic electronics

Abstract

This research investigates the competence of junior high school science teachers in Palu City, Indonesia, regarding laboratory teaching. The study aims to assess teachers' abilities in planning, implementing, and evaluating laboratory-based learning. Data were collected through observations, document reviews, and interviews with science teachers across six public junior high schools. The findings reveal that all schools engage in laboratory learning to some extent, with varying degrees of success. Teachers often create their own worksheets or use existing guides from science kits. Challenges identified include insufficient laboratory space, incomplete equipment, and a lack of dedicated laboratory assistants. Despite these obstacles, science teachers collaborate to ensure effective laboratory learning, highlighting the need for improved resources and support to enhance the overall quality of science education. The study concludes that while teachers demonstrate competency in laboratory teaching, further development is needed in creating practicum guides, conducting experiments, and assessing student skills. Future research should explore the impact of teacher competence on student learning outcomes in laboratory settings.
