Abstract

The lack of community involvement poses a significant obstacle that may impede the achievement of success in the conservation partnership program between the Mount Merbabu National Park (MMNP) authority and the local community. This study serves a purpose and presents a new approach by investigating the impact of human and social capital on community engagement in the conservation partnership program, with the mediation of the extension worker’s role. This location was determined using a purposive method, focusing primarily on three villages surrounding MMNP, Indonesia. The sampling technique employed was simple random sampling, where 30 respondents were chosen from each village, resulting in a total sample size of 90 respondents. This study examines the variables using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) - Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. Social capital has a positive and significant impact on community engagement through forestry extension workers, while human capital does not affect community conservation partnership involvement through the same workers. This study recommends enhancing social capital to increase community participation in conservation initiatives. Forestry extension officers should improve communication, social networks, and environmental competency to encourage greater community involvement in environmental protection. Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti dampak food agripreneurship dan culture-local wisdom, terutama keplek ilat, terhadap kepuasan wisatawan dalam menjelajahi kuliner malam di Surakarta. Fenomena keplek ilat telah mendorong perkembangan food agripreneurship dan kearifan lokal, namun belum jelas sejauh mana ini memuaskan harapan wisatawan. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi kasus dan deskriptif dengan lokasi penelitian dipilih secara purposive di Kota Surakarta. Sepuluh titik lokasi penelitian dipilih dengan total responden sebanyak 400 orang. Pengumpulan data melibatkan survei, wawancara, dan kuesioner, dengan analisis data menggunakan interval. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa persepsi wisatawan terhadap food agripreneurship dan kearifan lokal, khususnya keplek ilat, secara signifikan memengaruhi tingkat kepuasan kunjungan di Surakarta. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang dinamika interaksi antara agripreneur kuliner, wisatawan, dan budaya lokal dalam konteks kuliner malam di Surakarta. Implikasinya memberikan sumbangan berharga untuk pengembangan strategi oleh pemerintah dan agripreneur guna meningkatkan kualitas serta daya tarik wisata kuliner di Surakarta. Dengan menyoroti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan wisatawan, penelitian ini merangsang refleksi dan tindakan lebih lanjut dalam mengoptimalkan potensi keplek ilat sebagai destinasi kuliner malam yang memikat di Kota Surakarta.

Abstract

Abstrak ditulis secara ringkas dan faktual menggunakan huruf Tahoma, ukuran 9pt dengan panjang teks Masyarakat di Desa Kepatihan, Kecamatan Selogiri, Kabupaten Wonogiri menghadapi kondisi awal berupa dua masalah paralel, yaitu stagnasi partisipasi generasi muda dalam Karang Taruna (KT) serta keterasingan ekonomi Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) yang terikat rutinitas domestik. Sampah dan limbah tidak tertangani sehingga membentuk lingkungan fisik dan mental yang memunculkan rasa tidak berdaya. Tim pemberdayaan memfasilitasi kolaborasi antara KT dan KWT dengan menjadikan pengelolaan sampah sebagai pintu masuk perubahan, solidaritas sebagai penggerak energi sosial, dan penguatan kelembagaan sebagai pertahanan menghadapi tekanan produktivitas eksternal. Proses fasilitasi berlangsung melalui diskusi partisipatif, pembentukan visi bersama, dan perancangan struktur kerja yang inklusif. Hasilnya menunjukkan terbentuknya identitas kolektif baru sebagai “Kawasan Agrowisata Hijau Mandiri” yang mengintegrasikan aspek ekologis, ekonomi, dan sosial. KT dan KWT bukan hanya berhasil menciptakan kebun wisata berbasis pengolahan sampah organik, tetapi juga menunjukkan kemampuan bernegosiasi dengan pasar, menyusun program inovatif, serta mengelola konflik secara mandiri. Pemberdayaan terjadi pada level individu melalui tumbuhnya rasa percaya diri, pada level kelompok melalui solidaritas fungsional, dan pada level kelembagaan melalui sistem tata kelola yang transparan dan adaptif.

Abstract

Sampah merupakan salah satu masalah yang sering muncul dalam kehidupan di masyarakat. Pertumbuhan populasi dan perkembangan industri telah menyebabkan peningkatan produksi sampah anorganik, seperti plastik, kaca, logam, dan lainnya. Kreasi dari daur ulang sampah plastik merupakan kerajinan yang bisa menjadi alternatif peluang usaha. Sampah plastik dapat dibuat kerajinan tangan seperti bross, tas belanja, dompet, lampu hias, tempat pensil, keranjang, dan lain lain. Jadi, tidak hanya menyelamatkan lingkungan, sebagai produk kreatif, kreasi sampah plastik mempunyai nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. . Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kreatifitas serta menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa melalui pelatihan pemanfaatan barang bekas menjadi barang yang bernilai ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini melalui dua tahapan yaitu, tahapan persiapan dan pelaksanaan yang disertai dengan sosialisasi, penyampaian materi, dan pelatihan kreasi. Hasil dari pelatihan pengabdianmasyarakat dengan menggunakan barang bekas ini membuat siswa memiliki keterampilan dalam mengolah sampah dengan cara yang baik dan efektif yang memiliki nilai lebih ekonomis. Pemanfaatan sampah anorganik memberikan perubahan sikap siswa sehingga mempunyai minat berwirausaha dan sadar akan bahayanya sampah dilingkungan mereka tinggal.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship training in home-scale herbal drink (jamu) production is an effort to enhance students’ competencies in business diversification and downstream processing of spice-based products. This activity was motivated by the low level of students’ knowledge and skills in utilizing oil palm plantation land for additional commodities and their limited ability to process agricultural products into value-added goods. This community service activity aimed to improve students’ knowledge, motivation, and entrepreneurial interest through jamu production training. The activity was conducted using an interactive lecture method by inviting a jamu MSME entrepreneur as the resource person and involved 50 students of the oil palm education program. The evaluation was carried out using pre- and post-training questionnaires and participant observation. The results showed an average increase of 44% in participants’ understanding of spice crop potential, jamu production processes, business opportunities, and entrepreneurial interest. In addition, 84% of participants expressed interest in independently producing jamu and 78% were interested in developing a jamu business. The activity also increased participants’ awareness of optimizing land use and developing agro-industry-based businesses. These findings indicate that practitioner-based training is effective in improving students’ entrepreneurial capacity and has strong potential to support the development of new sustainable herbal-based enterprises.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high dependence of rice farmers in Boyolali Regency on diesel-fueled water pumps, which causes high operational costs and production instability due to fluctuations in fuel prices. Agricultural electrification through the use of electric pumps is a more efficient and sustainable alternative, but its adoption rate is still relatively low. This study aims to analyze the influence of Perceived Benefits, Ease of Use, and Farmer Trust on the Adoption of Agricultural Electrification. The study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. The study population was all rice farmers who had used or had access to electric pumps in Giriroto Village, Ngemplak District, and Babadan Village, Sambi District, Boyolali Regency. The study was conducted from December 2025 to January 2026. Primary data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that Perceived Benefits and Ease of Use had a positive and significant effect on the Adoption of Agricultural Electrification, while Farmer Trust had no significant effect. An R² value of 0.770 (77%) indicates that the model has strong explanatory power. This finding indicates that adoption decisions are more influenced by tangible benefits and ease of use than by trust. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of strengthening the dissemination of benefits and improving the ease of operation of the technology to accelerate agricultural electrification.
