Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of exposing the caliph Usman Bin Affan who was rumored to be nepotism until the rebellion occurred during the caliphate of Uthman bin Affan (24-36 AH/644-656 AD). The main focus of the research is to understand how nepotism and rebellion occurred during the reign of Uthman Bin Affan. Research methods for research libraries or literature such as history books, journal articles and other related documents using content analysis. The results of the research show that during Uthman bin Affan's caliphate, after briefly explaining the personalities of people close to Caliph Uthman who held important positions in his government, it can be concluded that their appointment was a natural thing. This is because they have proven worthy of holding that position. They have the credibility to hold office, not just because of elements of nepotism. Meanwhile, the rebellion was caused by Abdullah bin Saba who sought ways to divide the Muslims, such as by indoctrinating heretical ideas. Slander was spread to overthrow the leadership of Uthman Bin Affan.

Abstract

Talents and interests have an important role in individual development, especially at the early stages of life. This research describes the definition, differences and characteristics of talents and interests and how to develop them. Talent is an innate ability that is potential and needs to be developed through training and education. Meanwhile, interest is an affective tendency towards an activity that develops along with an individual's physical and mental growth. This article discusses the characteristics of gifted children, involving aspects such as intellectual ability, creativity and motivation. Identifying these characteristics helps teachers and parents support the development of gifted children. In addition, types of talents are also discussed, illustrating variations in achievement based on their function and nature. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a focus on literature study. The research results present the definition of talent as above average ability, creativity and responsibility. Meanwhile, interest includes curiosity, affective tendencies, and the desire to pay attention to certain activities. This research also describes the characteristics of gifted children, involving intellectual, creativity and motivation aspects. Types of talents are divided based on their function and nature of achievement, such as psychophysical, psychological, typical and compound talents. How to develop talents and interests includes courage, practice, environmental support, and understanding the obstacles that may be faced. The conclusions of this research highlight the importance of understanding talents and interests in the context of education, career development, and professional choice. Identification of individual talents and interests helps in decision making regarding educational and career paths. With better understanding, we can support individuals' optimal development, help them reach their full potential, and live lives in accordance with their talents and interests.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the number of students who obtained low learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effect of learning facilities and learning motivation on student learning outcomes. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 32 Pekanbaru Class VII Social Studies Subject. The sample in this research was 67 students who used proportional random sampling technique. Data obtained through documentation and questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that learning facilities and learning motivation both partially and simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes. The results of the t test of the effect of learning facilities on learning outcomes with a value of Sig. 0.012 < 0.05 the value of t count 3.091> t table 1.997, the effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes with a value of Sig. 0.003 <0.05 the value of t count 2.597> t table 1.997 then the effect of learning facilities and learning motivation on learning outcomes with a Sig value. 0.000 <0.05 the value of f count of 15.673> f table 3.14. The coefficient of determination (R2) value is 32.9%. This shows that the more adequate the student learning facilities, the more student learning outcomes will increase and the higher the student learning motivation, the higher the student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji sejarah sosial peradaban dalam perjalanan Dinasti Aghlabiyah (800-909 M) dari fase konsolidasi hingga keruntuhan di Afrika Utara. Penelitian ini berfokus pada proses pembentukan dinasti Aghlabiyah hingga keruntuhannya, serta menganalisis dinamika sosial yang terjadi selama masa berdirinya dinasti tersebut. Peneliti menerapkan pendekatan analisis sosial-historis dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang melibatkan kajian pustaka terhadap sumber-sumber sejarah yang relevan. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Aghlabiyah terdiri dari keragaman etnis dan hierarki berlapis yang menghasilkan dinamika yang kompleks. Interaksi antara penguasa dan ulama, serta kaum elit lainnya dan kelompok etnis, sering kali diwarnai oleh ketegangan yang dapat menggerogoti kekuatan rezim dari dalam. Beberapa kebijakan yang diterapkan oleh penguasa cenderung memperburuk ketidakpuasan sosial serta meningkatkan polarisasi di masyarakat. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah bahwa elemen-elemen sosial internal, seperti perpecahan di kalangan elit dan ketidakpuasan yang dipicu oleh otoritas keagamaan atau kondisi sosial, memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kerentanan dan pada akhirnya menyebabkan keruntuhan Dinasti Aghlabiyah di hadapan kekuatan Fatimiyah.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the Outdoor Learning Model for Islamic Religious Education in the Independent Learning Curriculum. This type of research is field research. The research was conducted at STAI Rokan. The number of respondents in this study was 3 people from lecturers, leaders and 25 students. The data collection techniques used in this research are, Observation, Interviews, and Documentation. Data analysis techniques are efforts made by l) data reduction, 2) data presentation and 3)  conclusion drawing/verification. Implementation of the outdoor learning model Religious education Islam, has several stages, namely the lecturer provides an explanation, carry out practices according to the provisions, and evaluate. Learning outside the classroom feels exciting. Students become more active in learning, asking each other questions and answers. Students become more confident, accustomed to discussing and expressing opinions. It also makes learning more communicative. Meanwhile, the disadvantage of outdoor learning is that there are students who are busy playing, chatting and joking with their friends rather than discussing the material. Students lack focus in studying. Students become more difficult to manage when studying outside the classroom than studying in the classroom. Here is the relevance of outdoor learning to Islamic religious education; Spiritual Aspect,  Moral and Ethical Aspects, Knowledge Aspect and  Skill Aspect

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kajian dari analisis sensitivitas metode VIKOR dan TOPSIS dalam merangkingkan IPM di Indonesia. Adapun data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS) tahun 2022. Kriteria yang digunakan terdiri dari 4 aspek yaitu Pengeluaran riil per kapita, Umur harapan hidup, Rata – rata lama sekolah, Harapan lama sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode menghasilkan peringkat yang signifikan sama dengan peringkat Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). Analisis sensitivitas dengan perubahan bobot kriteria sebesar 1%, 25%, dan 50% menunjukkan bahwa metode VIKOR lebih sensitif terhadap perubahan bobot dibandingkan metode TOPSIS. Pada perubahan bobot sebesar 1%, metode VIKOR mengalami perubahan sementara metode TOPSIS menunjukkan stabilitas tinggi tanpa perubahan peringkat. Namun, pada perubahan bobot 25% dan 50% kedua metode menunjukkan sensitivitas yang tinggi. Pengujian tambahan terhadap metode TOPSIS dengan perubahan bobot 3% dan 7% menunjukkan bahwa TOPSIS tetap stabil pada perubahan bobot 3% untuk kriteria Pengeluaran riil per kapita, tetapi mulai menunjukkan perubahan peringkat pada perubahan bobot 7% untuk semua kriteria. Sehingga metode VIKOR lebih cocok digunakan untuk merangkingkan IPM di Indonesia dalam berbagai situasi perubahan bobot, sejalan dengan dinamika IPM yang terus berubah untuk meningkatkan pembangunan manusia di Indonesia. Sementara itu, metode TOPSIS lebih sesuai untuk situasi yang membutuhkan stabilitas pada perubahan bobot kecil tetapi tetap adaptif terhadap perubahan yang lebih besar.

Abstract

Kasus covid-19 sudah menjadi ancaman bagi seluruh dunia termasuk negara Indonesia. Grafik kasus penyebaran covid-19 di Indonesia semakin tidak terkendali sejak awal mula kasus pertama covid-19 di Indonesia. Prediksi kasus konfirmasi harian covid-19 sangat dibutuhkan untuk memutus rantai penyebaran covid-19 dimasa mendatang. Dalam penelitian ini, melalui pendekatan jaringan saraf tiruan menggunakan metode backpropagation dilakukan peramalan kasus konfirmasi harian covid-19 di Indonesia menggunakan data kasus harian sebelumnya dimulai sejak tanggal 02 maret 2020 hingga 18 Februari 2023. Arsitektur dan parameter terbaik dalam proses peramalan ini, diperoleh terdapat 14 neuron pada input layer, 128 neuron pada hidden layer dan 1 neuron pada output layer. Sedangkan nilai-nilai parameter terbaik selama pembelajaran model diperoleh nilai learning rate sebesar 0.001 dan fungsi aktivasi yang digunakan adalah ReLu dalam 1000 epoch pelatihan. Dalam peramalan ini akan diperoleh hasil ramalan dalam periode 14 hari kedepan dengan tingkat keakurasian yang dinilai berdasarkan nilai MAPE terkecil yaitu sebesar 1.16% dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 98%.

Abstract

This paper explores positions of hadith and ethics in discussing the genetic engineering of humans by departing from the following questions: a) how do hadith contribute to constructing various aspects of human genetics? b) how did the social context around Prophet Muhammad affect the construction of the hadith? c) how do hadith addressing human genetics relate to scientific development? This paper reveals that the ethics and process of genetic engineering are prescribed in the hadith, illuminating the contextual debates of its time. Issues of genetics that arise in the discourse of human existence, particularly regarding sex and skin color, show a contestation of values related to the position of genetic factors as undeniable. Scientific development provides answers to the increasingly complex and contestatory discourse on genetics and necessitates a paradigm shift in the Muslim community, which often places hadith as a believed and practiced textual truth

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policy of Islamic education in Thailand. The method used is a case study qualitative method. The data collection technique is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used consists of three co-occurring activities: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that; Islamic education policies in the field of curriculum, namely policies carried out by requiring general subjects such as mathematics, science, geography; Islamic education policy regarding the Thai language, namely using and developing the Thai language in student learning; Islamic Education Policy regarding teachers, namely providing training for teachers and education personnel to improve their abilities and knowledge. This research implies that it can be used as input for the government, stakeholders, leaders, teachers in making policies so that the quality of education is more qualified and able to compete with other countries.
